Hotel
Small. Two buildings. We lived in the so-called new one.
Number.
We chose a view of the lake, because according to reviews, these rooms are not noisy, other rooms overlook the pool. But... Activities at the pool start only at 10 o'clock. The disco is taking place in another place, you can't hear it at all.
In our room, it was the other way around. The Amara hotel is located behind the lake, where the disco starts at 19-21 hours and can last until 2-4 nights, then the "warmed up" youth continues to "walk" around the lake, mopeds are worn under the windows. Even the closed door to the balcony did not help to fall asleep.
Beach, swimming pool
Three pools. The water park is for children. The sea is calm, when we rested at the hotel the water temperature was 19 degrees. Invigorating, but not cold. It is quite possible to swim. The entrance to the sea is not shallow, there are underwater stone slabs. If you enter the water to the left of the center of the beach, it is quite normal, corals are not needed.
Restaurant, kitchen
There is a lot of food. They cook delicious. The food at the hotel is varied, but for those who want to eat right, there are problems with this. The expanse for meat eaters is different meat: chicken, beef, turkey, liver, lamb. Fried fish, baked. But stewed vegetables, porridges without milk, for example, bulgur, rice can not be found in the morning. The fruits are seasonal. Apples, pears, kiwis, oranges, bananas, medlar. There were delicious strawberries several times. And of course sweets.
Bar
Drinks are poured from bottles, except beer. The assortment includes whiskey, vodka, tequila, champagne, martinis, crayfish, dry white and red wine, beer. The lobby bar is open 24 hours a day.
The maintenance staff.
Everyone is very friendly, ready and in a hurry to help you with everything. Many people speak Russian, some speak very well. Malik's manager (her workplace is on the left side of the lobby after registration) speaks excellent Russian. The staff is great!!!
A very accessible environment. People with disabilities will feel comfortable moving around the hotel.
I liked the hotel, I will recommend it to my friends.
The food is five plus, the long beach, there is no jostling in the sea, cleanliness and order in everything, of the minuses - the air conditioner in the room is not very cold, but this can also be considered a plus, the territory is well-groomed, I really liked that there was a lake next to the hotel, people walked around it. We decided before ourselves that we would definitely come to this hotel again
Very nice hotel. Beautiful well-groomed territory, the first line. Swimming pool, sea. She ate beyond praise, as well as alcohol in the bar. I liked it!❤️
The advantages are the proximity of the sea, spacious relatively fresh rooms, mini-disco.
Minuses:
- the ANIMATION runs until 01.30 and this is in a FAMILY hotel, where crowds of children and people are clearly not in the mood for parties. There are no words. It is better to take rooms with a view of the entrance to the hotel.
- they served rotten grilled fish for dinner and didn't even apologize.
- in the children's club, the play area is located directly under the air conditioner, but the animators sit a hundred meters away from it.
- they didn't give strawberries and cherries though the season.
- they asked for a quiet room. First, they gave a number under a cell tower with the sounds of pumps and air conditioners. For a tip, they changed the room with a "sea view", convincing us that it was a quiet room. But this is all a lie, we heard the music perfectly well until one o'clock in the morning.
For that kind of money, the hotel is not very good.

Everything is great, the buffet is awesome, the rooms are clean, the sea is great, the beach is garbage-free. Of the cons, of course, this is music under the window until 3 am, but every hotel in Turkey is famous for this and maybe this is a plus for someone. Animation for children is normal, there is something new every day.
The staff is polite, not annoying. There is animation, a children's room, and some kind of performances every day. Food for every taste: boiled, baked, fried, without salt, fruits to choose from. Soups are not their thing, but children never went hungry. Of the cons: adults are bored in the evening, the disco for those over 150 does not come to everyone.
We were in Turkey, including this department for the first time.We liked everything.Despite the fact that we were told that the hotel is old, it is clear that the operation is constantly very clean every morning except Sunday, cleaning is carried out accordingly at your request if you decide to sleep and the cleanliness of the room suits you, you can also refuse every morning a mini bar (chips, chopsticks, cola, fanta and water) is distributedthe staff is friendly if you thank them with a tip, it is welcome, but even without that you are treated at the height. In terms of food, you will never be hungry starting from 7 a.m. to 21:00 p.m., the buffet is almost constantly open, the only break is from 15:30 to 17:30, but there is always an abundance of cakes and coffee in the lobby bar. There are two restaurants open at lunch, you can eat both in the hotel hall and by the pool. The pools are closed at about 19:00 and cleaned. You can not swim there at night. The food is very tasty, there is sure to be for every taste. The lobby bar is open 24 hours a day, the one on the beach until 24:00 by the pool until 18:00.Every evening there are entertainment programs and then a disco until 24:00 or until 01:00 I don't remember exactly. There is sand and small pebbles on the beach, then as you enter the water, the stony water is of course very salty. I swam with glasses, my eyes were very stinging. From 10:30 am, entertainment events are held by animators (yoga, aqua aerobics, zumba, volleyball, water polo, you can take equipment to play table tennis, tennis) for an additional fee, you can go to the spa, ride banana quad bikes and a lot more entertainment, a photo shoot as well. There was a not very pleasant incident in lobi one evening, we sat chatting with the company the next day we were blocked from entering the room and told off as kids that we were very noisy. The company may not have noticed the sorry, but if you are a little emotional, consider that this may be the case.Stock up on remedies for burns, as we did not smear ourselves with remedies and did not seem to spend much time on the beach during the day, my husband was burned and the doctor's services are also paid
It used to be a good hotel, maybe covid knocked it down like that ... vacationed with a family of 4 people (2 different rooms) in June 23rd - 8 nights. They gave away almost 460 tons of rubles. For me, this is space. Essentially: the rooms are tired, although we had a simple category - land view. They are very tired. 1 of the rooms was changed 3 times for 20 bucks at the reception. For food, they gave everything: salmon steaks, king prawns, Crayfish and whatever your heart desires. The quality of execution is not very good. Everything is kind of over-dried, not particularly tasty. At the end of the vacation, the season seems to have swung a little - on Saturday they staged a cool disco on the lawn. For children, evening animation in Russian. The beach is sandy, but we didn't swim in the sea because of the waves.
We had a rest from 10/22/22 to 10/30/12. Excellent hotel (beach, restaurant, everything is clean and tidy)! I would especially like to note the work of animation, the guys are just great clever! We are interested in every vacationer, including children). As soon as my sons got acquainted with the children's club, they asked to go there at any free moment! Thanks a lot to Anna, Ezena
I liked the hotel. We lived in a family 432 room with sea, pool and lake views. The food is very cool and the staff will help everywhere. And very good children's animation
Excellent service! Delicious food and drinks. Comfortable rooms. Wide sandy beach. The bottom of the sea is not very comfortable. Clean pools. A cool children's water park.
Great hotel!!
The territory is compact, but everything is thought out and everything is there! The norm in the additional building is large, renovated, in others it was not.
We did not visit the SPA.
The beach is wide, there are a lot of sunbeds!
The restaurant is excellent: everything is very tasty, fish days, bottled wine is acceptable, beer is decent. A little A la carte disappointed.. but nothing))
Animation is like everywhere in hotels, probably children's animation, live music.
In short, we are not bored! There were 4 families and everyone was happy!
And by the way, the fact that workers are coming in connection with the pandemic seemed even better to us! No one is messing around, everything is cultural, like in a restaurant))
Good luck to everyone!
Very tired, 5 * does not pull anything, neither the territory, nor the concept, nor the numbers. It's not worth the money you gave away. There is nothing in the area, shops and pharmacies, promenades need to be reached by minibus for 20-25 liras = 80-100 rubles, Tetriengel Lake turned out to be an unkempt puddle. The staff speaks Russian, English, German, and are mostly very friendly and courteous. But the head of the main restaurant is completely inadequate-beware. They tried to take away a plate of baklava from us with the words you took too much (12 pieces for four). The most important thing is the absolutely terrible entrance to the sea, slabs and huge boulders-they used up all their legs in the first half hour. Tip, if it's too late and you bought a tour to this hotel: on the beach, go to the sun beds on the right at the very end of Kaya beach and swim in the territory of the neighboring Linda and Megasaray hotel, there is a beach without slabs, the entrance is quite sharp, but the legs will remain intact. If you're thinking about it, definitely NOT.
I do not advise anyone, a very old hotel, with an old renovation, the food is monotonous, by the end of the holiday everything is already tired (((The sea is dirty, you still need to choose hotels with a blue flag (The only advantage is that the territory is large)
The hotel is below average in the 5-star category.
Cons: Disgusting entrance to the sea - concrete slabs and a large depth through a meter. Getting in /out of the sea is difficult and not pleasant.
A night rest without sounds is possible only after one o'clock in the morning. If you are used to going to bed earlier, there will be a problem. Rooms with sea view and superiors enjoy a disco from Cafe turk on the territory of Kai Side. The rooms with land view enjoy the disco from the neighboring hotels, which are quite close, the hammering from them is perfectly audible. In August 2023, a disco with techno music (namely, slotting), not everyone will be able to sleep.
Positive:
An excellent restaurant with a very diverse food, above average. Children's animation: Lyubov and Anna are well done, children are not bored.
Otherwise, the hotel corresponds to 5 stars in Turkey.
Thanks
We would like to express our gratitude to this hotel for a great stay. Before the vacation, we decided to look at reviews on various sites and expected a lot of disadvantages, which in the end did not exist. We had a rest in early September.
Pros:
Check-in was immediately upon arrival, without waiting until 12:00
The room is spacious, clean, daily cleaning
They cook delicious and quite varied
The territory is being monitored perfectly
I would like to note that the outdoor toilets (on the beach, by the pool) are always very clean!
We have divided the beach into two zones for ourselves, yes, there are places where large stones begin after small pebbles, but if you go a little to the right, then they are no longer there. A man helps to find sun beds quickly, if they did not have time to take them before breakfast
80% of the staff understand and speak Russian.
The spa area is also excellent and without complaints, we took a massage according to the program (3in1), and received only positive emotions
The animation is quite good and varied, but there were not enough discos where you can move around and not sit and watch. The live music was always great, the bands sang insanely well!
Now the cons (there are not so many of them, but there are still some):
- There are not enough exotic fruits on the menu
- The only negative about the staff is the woman at the reception at the spa, she answers rudely and sharply
- The bar menu does not have a complete list of cocktails that you can try (but if you explain to the bartender and ask for a cocktail that is not on the menu, he will do it)
- There is no full-time doctor, nurse, or even a first aid kit. There are a lot of children in the hotel and various situations can happen. At the same time, we needed it, due to allergies at night, but they said they could not help in any way.
These disadvantages did not spoil the rest at all, these are suggestions rather than cons)
Thank you for a great time and rest!
Now we are having a family vacation at the hotel with a child of 9 and 1.5 years old. As stated in previous reviews, the hotel is very good and the food and the territory and the sea.
I want to write separately the pros and cons for children:
1. For older children from 5 to 12 years old - realistic animation from 10 a.m.: master classes, games, exercises, making crafts, etc.
2. For babies (as we are 1.5 years old), there are disadvantages in baby food, for example, in the morning porridge and omelet are made with powdered milk - it is impossible for either a grown-up or a child to eat.
At lunch - except for soup, we do not take anything from the children's table (pasta, rice, pizza, grilled chicken 1.5 year old child does not eat)
3. From the side table we find meat, sometimes vegetables for garnish. But mashed potatoes, for some reason not from potatoes, but from a plastic bag
Otherwise, everything is fine! We'll be back next summer again!
we just returned from this hotel and were very disappointed with them-firstly, they did not immediately put us in the room we ordered, on the second day again there was no room, they began to offer a femeli room-from the beginning for an additional fee, then for free, because we were with a small child, we had to agree not to live on suitcases- why invite guests if you don't have a room???the family's room is disgusting, there is no cleaning, a woman came every day to sweep (there was never a wet cleaning)the walls have never been washed, everything is dirty, the restaurant is undercooked, all peppery,beautiful-but not tasty, rolls, dumplings could not eat, fish of the same kind, there is no freshly squeezed juice!!!and most importantly, everything is in the flies!!!everywhere and always! The cook is terrible. The only thing is a good sea, a beach, good pools, the rest is terrible!!!we ate mostly potatoes, eggs, pasta, even fruits are not all delicious, everything is sweet in the same way!Very upset, never in the cabin AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
Good five, helpful and pleasant staff. A large, spacious, fresh room with a side view of the sea.Of the cons. The staff can not cope with cleaning empty dirty plates, it is unpleasant to sit at such a table. Well, there is nowhere to walk especially, only in the shopping malls near the lake. We took a bus to Side, but this is for one evening. But this is also solvable, we took excursions: rafting, parasailing, diving and car rental, we went to Green Canyon. Everyone is happy, the vacation was great. I recommend the hotel, especially to those who do not leave the hotel much. I decided for myself that I am more interested in the center of Alanya and Kemer, wait :)
The hotel is great. Compact territory. The food is very tasty. We were in October: the sea is warm, the pools are cold.
There were enough deck chairs for everyone, but many people "occupied" and did not come...
they did not like the amphitheater, nor the performances.
The live music is good. The parties were stylistically good.
I didn't like the A la carte at all..
The rooms are large. Everything works.
There is a place to go for a walk.
We took electric cars and drove around the area.
We went to the mall. There were good discounts.
In general, everything is fine, on a solid 4!!
We are resting now in this hotel. The bartenders are rude and the tables are not cleaned during lunch and dinner - at least they are furnished with plates. Rooms are rarely cleaned. The Internet is bad and intermittent - this is a problem for us working online. I liked the sauna area and the gym.
In general, the rest at the hotel went well, the sea is excellent, but there are not enough sun beds for such a large number of tourists. The food is delicious, but it gets boring in a couple of days (but of course no one cooks like that at home). In October, there were a lot of fruits, figs, bananas, melons, etc.
Everything was overshadowed only by the fact that the child started rinsing after 4 days and had to get acquainted with Turkish hospitals. But this is hardly the fault of the hotel.
The rooms are not bad, you can upgrade, of course, there were juices and soda in the minibar. Towels are changed every day, cleaned for 4 days.
For children, there is a mini-disco, during the day they offer activities to all vacationers.
"Fly in the ointment....."
I really want to leave my review about this hotel. Perhaps it will be useful to someone when choosing hotels on this coast.
We had a vacation with my wife in the first half of July 2023.
Three days before leaving the room, branded women's sunglasses (Roberto Cavalli) disappeared during cleaning. Around the camera.
We immediately contacted the hotel reception and informed the TezTur employee. The reception advised not to contact the police, but to wait for the Big Boss named DENIZ. They said he would come and solve our problem. The TezTur employee immediately withdrew.
DENIZ's "big" boss didn't show up until the next morning. He started asking about everything and advised us to come in the evening. In the evening, he began to ask the same questions again, as if he had heard about everything for the first time, and then he talked for a long time about how "serious" their security was and so on until our departure ((( It seemed that he was just deliberately trolling us (((
Neither the boss of DENIZ, nor any other boss of this hotel did not even apologize to us for this unpleasant situation ((( Apparently, they are simply not interested in the reputation of the hotel and customer loyalty(((
For the remaining three days, we hid everything except swimming trunks and T-shirts. And this is in a 5* hotel(((
A bad (rocky) entrance to the sea, special shoes are needed.
And yet, despite this unpleasant situation, there are positive aspects in the hotel. I would like to thank the chefs for always delicious, fresh and varied food, the staff working in the hotel restaurants and lobby bars.
It's nice, but it's time to do a good repair. There were unpleasant incidents with the staff. The place is generally good, but with older children 6-7 years old
Overall, it's not bad, but I'm definitely not coming back here a second time. The hotel is very family-run, 90% of vacationers with children, the rest are those who are over. Weak animation and evening shows. Delicious, pleasant beach, lots of foreigners. Sunbeds should be occupied at 7 a.m. otherwise you will stay somewhere on the 5th line. In short, if you do not have children or you are under 60, I do not recommend it)
We were in the second half of July. We were first checked into a standard land View room (two adults). The room was very small: to get between the bed and the TV, you either had to touch the bed with your foot or turn on the TV. The bathroom is probably 1 sq2 in size, without a table, there is nowhere to put anything and everything is very closely located. The air conditioner was making quite an unpleasant noise. Then they paid extra at the reception for 15 euros per night and we were moved to sea view. It turned out to be very spacious, we were satisfied.)
The food is delicious.
Every evening there is some kind of entertainment.
The plates were confused at the entrance to the sea, but thanks to this you could see the fish with glasses, they swim right off the shore)
Of the advantages:
- animation (the guys really try, the kids liked everything, a special mini disco);
- sea (approach: sand - pebbles - stone slabs);
- food (meat and seafood salads are cooked very tasty, everyone was full, the portions are put as you ask);
- there were enough places in the restaurant for everyone, and this was when the hotel was fully loaded;
- a large beach (there were also plenty of sun beds by the sea);
- snack bar (excellent shawarma, burgers and potato chips);
- pollbar and beachbar (they work fast, the queues are small, and Turks are standing in them just like everyone else).
- WI-FI (free of charge) works well both in the rooms and on the beach.
Of the cons:
- disgusting accommodation, long relocation.
- the waiters are not suitable.
- in the main restaurant, you need to take your own appliances.
- the territory is small, there is little greenery.
- the alcohol is local, the cocktails are not delicious, the wine is of low quality, the beer is normal, but draught and only one kind.
I don't advise anyone. Biased attitude towards Russian tourists. The star rating of the hotel, and therefore the cost of living, are greatly overestimated. Three stars is the maximum.
Now in order. Summer holidays in 2023 began to be planned in winter. For a long time we chose a decent family hotel, studied and analyzed reviews, were interested in a travel agency, asked friends and acquaintances. As a result, for 350 thousand rubles, we bought a ticket for three (me, my wife and child), which included accommodation in Kaya Side from 07/03/2023 to 07/15/2023 (12 nights) and a flight by a "reliable" Turkish Airlines airline.
And that's what I got for the money. Turkish shoals began in Moscow. The flight was delayed for 12 hours, a day's stay in the room was "donated" to the hotel. However, the airline compensated for everything and presented a voucher for a whole thousand rubles, which I exchanged at the airport cafe for pistachios.
Upon arrival, we checked into a fairly spacious room near the pool. However, ten days later they called the reception and explained that upon check-in we were given a room of a higher category than we had paid for. That's why we have to pack up quickly and move to another room. As you can imagine, at that time all the suitcases were unpacked, a large number of things were laid out in cupboards, bedside tables, shelves, etc. Obviously, the move promised a lot of trouble and the loss of several hours of free time. All my arguments: that I am ready to pay extra for the occupied room; that the hotel independently decided to accommodate us in this room and did not warn us about the upcoming move; that we do not want to move, it is problematic for us, etc. were rejected. I took a principled position and refused to move out. Then, for two days, I was called to the reception for such conversations, which brought no joy and only spoiled the mood. Eventually, the receptionist, about whom many wrote here (Asian appearance, medium height, short blond hair, speaks Russian) began to lie in the dialogue that when we checked in, it turns out, we were told about the upgrade of the room category. In turn, the hotel manager openly threatened to block the card and evict me against my will. Not wanting to barricade themselves in the room with a small child and engage in MMA fights, resisting forced eviction, I had to agree. To be fair, we were given a nice new room with a sea view, helped with the move, offered dinner at a paid restaurant, a massage and repeatedly apologized. However, the sediment remained.
Now about the hotel itself, which seemed to me quite "worn out" and "tired". Repairs in residential buildings and rooms have been done for a long time and for a good "fall off". Neatness, fitting of elements and surfaces were bypassed by Turkish builders. The extractor hood in the room did not work, the air in the bathroom was constantly humid and stagnant. I had to dry my clothes, including towels, on the balcony.
Umbrellas by the pool, sun loungers, a refrigerator at the bar and other outdoor camping equipment were bought back in the days of the Ottoman Empire. Half of the sunbeds don't have wheels, some pins stick out.
A three-course restaurant. There were constantly not enough plates, coffee cups, tea glasses and cutlery. The food is mediocre. I can't say that I liked all the dishes. Often the meat, especially the chicken kebab, was over-dried. To be honest, I was expecting a "belly feast", but I got "eat what they gave."
Cleanliness deserves special attention, or rather its absence. The rooms are poorly cleaned, the floors are not always washed. They forget to put toilet paper, they have to get it themselves. Foreign tourists really like to take more food in a restaurant, put it on plates, bring it to their room, "sharpen" and put dirty plates in the hallway. Sometimes you go to the room and realize that you have come to the dirty plates festival. The problem is not with educating people. The problem is that the dishes with leftovers are in the hallway from morning to evening and no one cleans them. The same approach is used when cleaning the hotel grounds. An empty bottle, dirty glass, wrapper, etc. can lie on the lawn for a day until they are removed. Public toilet near the pool… I don't want to say anything, just look at the photo. I was not lazy and went to the bathroom in the room.
Now the beach. Well, there's a standard story here. The advertisement says that there is sand everywhere, but in fact entering the sea is pebbles. There are not enough sun loungers, it is difficult to find a free place during the day. Everything is occupied by those who specially woke up at seven in the morning, ran to the beach and put towels on several sun loungers at once (suddenly it will be useful) to go to lunch and swim for half an hour. This cannot be changed and you are forced to act in the same way. The beach is dirty, garbage is taken out untimely, there are a lot of cigarette butts in the sand. I also remember the bartender on the beach (a young guy about 25 years old). Ask him to make several cocktails, he will pour you one and serve the next one in turn. You start to "correct" him, so he will make you a cocktail with such a face, as if you were "shaking the roof of his Turkish house."
Once in Turkey, from the point of view of the banking sector, you become a second-class person. Russian bank cards, including the MIR card, do not work in this country. For us, the only salvation was the UnionPay payment system card (we just ordered an additional plastic card to our existing bank account), which could be used almost everywhere to pay and withdraw money from an ATM. But in July 2023, new sanctions were imposed, which our Turkish "friends" supported, and UnionPay cards stopped working. Now there are two options: buy foreign currency in Russia (dollars, euros, lira) and go to Turkey with cash or take with you a bank card issued by a foreign bank (Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, etc.).
Oooh it was an unforgettable 7 days❤️ everywhere is clean. The food is delicious. The room was cleaned every day and so clean. First coast. The children, my husband and of course I were very satisfied.
We chose the hotel because of the high ratings on the booking and on other sites. We had a rest in July 2023 (I am writing from the hotel)
In fact: they were settled only after 14-00, apparently it's just the season. The room is large enough for two adults and a child. We had a view of the sea and the roof of the main restaurant. Despite the proximity of the restaurant, we did not feel any smells in the room. You only stay in the room at night) the room is not cleaned very much, towels were not changed often, the bathroom is not particularly clean.
In the hotel, the corridors feel like they are not being cleaned at all. The carpet was stained all over, there were pieces of paper and wrappers next to the room at check-in...a week has passed, and they are still lying there.
A separate topic is the 0 floor, where the SPA is...Every day, with varying success, there were live and dead cockroaches. It kills, all the cleaners walk by, they don't notice.
Overall, the hotel is very tired and dirty. The main restaurant is very noisy, it is clear that it cannot cope with the influx of guests, there are often no seats, clean tables, appliances, waiters.
During the check-in, free access to the ala-karts of the restaurant. There are three of them, we chose Italian, it's on the third floor. The service is terrible, you wait a long time for your dishes, as a result, they brought us several at once. The waiters are in dirty clothes, the dishes themselves are so-so. Don't take tiramisu)
The animation is not intrusive, but the guys are great...they are active and cheerful.
Total: the hotel is clearly not worth the money that we paid, but Turkey has risen terribly in price...the hotel is very old, shabby, dirty, which is the most unpleasant thing...The food is generally normal, but the restaurant itself leaves much to be desired. The impressions are not the most pleasant
Dear ones who are planning a vacation to the Kaya Side hotel, please note that a vacation with children who cry , scream. Umbrellas are not very comfortable on the beach , you can get burned for once or twice . The rooms are poorly cleaned , until they were asked , they were not cleaned . Towels are not changed every day (which does not correspond to 5 stars) in the room all the time , something buzzes , interferes with rest. The food is the same as in all hotels , there is no seafood , fish and that 's it . Restaurants as a dining room.... there are no places an hour later, the service is very bad . The price does not match the quality. With uv .....
I don't recommend it... Urgent repairs and additional staff are needed.
It's an uncomfortable place.
Although the kitchen is at the proper level and the cleaning of the rooms pleased.
There would be no questions for the staff at all, but the hotel is clearly overloaded and there are clearly not enough people.
What kind of cleanliness and comfort can we talk about then?
Thanks to the Russian-speaking girls and the receptionist, they tried ... but the hotel is clearly run down and requires a revision of the concept.
I liked it: close to the sea, compact green area. I didn't like: the organization of the dining room, flies in the dining room, rotten evening performances, monotonous food, disgusting powdered coffee and drinks. This is a budget hotel, but close to the sea.
Probably one of the best hotel chains, with surprisingly friendly staff, cleanliness, comfort, with great attention to animation, excellent territory, well, it's better to keep quiet about food in general😝 all the best things that are in Turkey are present, and besides, the plus is special days when crayfish, oysters and lots of seafood, lamb divine, plus homesick sauerkraut, pickles, mashed potatoes, etc.☝️It was in Kaya that I first tasted smoked beef tongue, which just precipitated out- I have never tasted a more delicious delicacy! Paradise and entertainment for children! One thing I didn't like was that they couldn't get me a Kaye club card.…
We arrived at the hotel on 05/18/23 by the lotti tour operator. For a family of 4 people, as ordered, we were given a 2-room room: 1st floor, a transparent wall looks directly at the entrance of the hotel, that is, the curtains are always in a curtained state. The room itself is covered in cobwebs and dust, the air conditioner does not work, the safe (which is provided free of charge) does not work, the bathroom desperately smells of sewage, they gave out as many as 2 bath towels and 2 towels for 4 people, 1 small shampoo, 1 shower gel, 1 small soap. The room is tiny, filled with beds. Interestingly, there is a bathtub in the bedroom room, and a mini-bar (1 bottle of water, 0.33 fanta and 0.33 cola) and a kettle in the entrance room. There was one 1-bedroom bed in the entrance room, a cot was brought for the child, as a result, the room simply would not turn around.
Representatives of the lotti tour operator (allegedly a Luxury operator) reacted very passively to our indignation, as a result, they moved us only after 14.30 the next day to a room with an air conditioner that was not working again. The story of clarifying our relationship is long, of the advantages of the hotel - there is a lake nearby (and nothing else, no market, no shops), more or less food, but it is not 24 hours, if you arrive at night, you will be hungry. There are more disadvantages: the staff is not interested in solving problems, the 2-room rooms are terrible, there is never a taxi in the parking lot at the hotel, no one can call, water parks and children's areas are tiny and for children under 3 years old, alcohol is poured into cocktails, the territory is small, in places neglected - the former relax pool is now just It's a dump, and the dump itself is near the amphitheater, so when you watch different performances, you smell it all. 1 star - for the abundance of greenery. I think this answer is liked only by those who have nothing to compare it with, for example, Crystal prestige in Kemer is also 5*, but this is a completely different level.
The hotel is good. Nice beach, sauna. Large rooms. I'm just a fan of Kemer. There are few greenery and flowers. When 3 months of the year are hot (and that's not a fact) you want nature, flowers. And so, there is a place to walk (outside the hotel).
I read the girl's negative review, I'm shocked, well, I don't believe it, because we are now in Kaya Side and there is no such thing. Rest from 05/23/23-1.06.23. There is a very decent contingent here, nationalities: Russians about 60%, Germans 30% and other nationalities 10%. All in 4 languages. Our room is Superior lake view, I inserted a photo. The most important plus here is a GREAT meal (salmon or salmon was on the grill, dorado, different fish, all kinds of meat: grilled, stewed, boiled. There are a lot of vegetables. From fruits in May: apples, watermelon, kiwi, oranges, tangerines, strawberries for dinner (about once every 2 days), cherry plums, bananas, pears.
Alcohol: around the clock in the lobby and in various other places according to the schedule of restaurants (several are open at the same time). I drink a coffee drink with Bailey, many take gin and tonic, Coke with whiskey, etc. I haven't seen anyone drunk, everyone is decent, with children, mostly
Ice cream at breakfast, lunch, dinner and in the glades. But they take you to the glades in the breaks between breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As many tiers of ice cream as you ask for, that's what they do)) the children are happy)) delicious, good.
Along the beach. Sandy, soft. There are a lot of sun beds, there are enough for everyone. The sea is warm enough, not cold. 23 degrees. A lot of people swim. Everything gets wet on the shore.
By the pool. They wrote that up to 3 years old ... well, this is nonsense. The children's pool is just above the knee of a 7-year-old girl, but they have a slide down there, so they don't drown - it's normal. Next to it is another deeper pool with large slides. There are 2 more pools. One is 150 cm, the other with different heights, from 80 cm goes to 160 cm.
By number. We have a nice room, huge, you can say (I inserted a photo). Superior Lake view. There are no cobwebs, as they wrote, they change the linen every day, the linen is white, it crunches, there were 2 gels, shampoos, conditioners, cotton swabs, discs, 1 washcloth and a cap in the bathtub upon arrival. In the bathroom, for some reason, frosted glass (between our room and the bathroom), I inserted a photo.
On the balcony there is a table and 2 wicker chairs with an ashtray
In the safe. He worked for us, but he was discharged on day 5. I went to the reception, they sent us an employee, he came in 20 minutes. He opened it for us, did something and it worked. The girl there complained that she was not working. So the reception would have called the internal number (0 to call the reception) and they came to them.
The territory is not very large, but it is beautiful. You can relax well, relax
You can walk along the beach to the territory of other hotels)
According to the service, I will put 10 (cleaning, staff response to requests, meals). According to the beauty of the territory, the number is 7 (if compared with other 5* hotels)
For children: there were no foam parties. All autumn is calm. There is only a children's club in a closed area and in the evening a children's disco in 2030-2100, then a show in 2115-2200, then a disco. There was once a parrot show for all the days in the afternoon, but we missed it. According to the program, there is absolutely nothing in the afternoon except a mini club, but I would like some kind of drive.
Overall, a good hotel)
I don't know why this hotel positions itself as a 5-star hotel. That's 4 at best! We settled in a basement room, during the rest (10 days) we never washed the floors and mirrors. I'm not talking about the client service at all, there is none. The waiters are on their own, they occasionally approach the tables. The food is mediocre. There is a very small selection of dishes for children. There is no thermometer at the reception.
We are currently staying at the hotel. The tour operator Fan san charged us an additional fee for a quiet room, as a result, we bought the most expensive room in the hotel. In total, they put us in a room in which music screams until 12 o'clock at night so that you can't hear what we say to each other. They refused to relocate us to my indignation. The tour operator, an employee who is in the hotel, runs away from us, says that the hotel refuses to change the room. 5 days have passed - apart from explaining that in any other room it will also be loud until 12, no. Why then did they initially charge us an additional fee for silence, this is one, and if it's noisy here, why didn't they offer another hotel, this is two. We are 2 adults and 2 small children. There is a lot of food, but the same thing every day - last year we were at Amara femeli resort, they feed much better there - they regularly organized Turkish days, fish days, etc. in Kaya side there is no such thing - fish every day, but red was 1 time and only for those who came earlier. The waiters and the presenter of the children's program really liked it here. The rest of the animators are very weak - they can't interest the children, they come to work to spend time. The territory of the hotel is large - this is a huge plus, there are a lot of guests, everything is crowded. You have to wait for a table at lunch and dinner. By the way, there are no umbrellas in the hotel, it was raining - all families with children are accommodated in a separate building, in order to get to eat, both their parents and children have to get wet. The room has a window from the toilet to the room, it is impossible to turn on the light in the toilet at night, because everyone in the room wakes up immediately. Why the window in the family room is not clear. The safe should be free, but in fact it opens with a key that they promise to bring us for several days, but they did not bring it for how long we remind them. The rooms are cleaned quite well, although the room itself is not the first freshness. It's not very convenient with beach towels - you can't change one for one - you need to bring your own and take cards in the evening before 19, and at 9 change the card to a towel. Ie, there's nothing to go to the sea with earlier, in the evening you also don't have towels, apparently after 7 you need to sleep. And if the children have stained the towel, then it will not work to change it to a clean one, hand it over for the evening, take the card and only in the morning you will get a clean one. In general, the hotel is not worth the money. Of the obvious advantages, there is a large territory and a beach nearby. In fact, there are a lot of people, queues everywhere in bars, juices from vending machines, cocktails from local drinks, ice cream is given only 2 times a day - at 2 p.m. and at dinner. One person distributes balloons, huge queues line up for him - 15 minutes waiting for ice cream is the norm. By 3 o'clock the ice cream is over
The HOTEL is FAMILY-RUN. he's old, but I won't say that he was killed-it's just clear that he saw a lot on his way, not polished, but quite modest to himself. The territory is small, 3 swimming pools, a beach bar (bottled water is always available), a large snack bar where you can fully eat if you missed a meal
The food
is Seasonal, i.e. in July - peaches, watermelons, melons, apples, grapes. In general, no frills, the kitchen is standard (soups, fish, chicken, beef). There is no "show-off" dish of the day, when guests nudge each other to grab a piece (they just saw this in another hotel when they served crayfish somehow), everything is quiet and peaceful here.
Sea and beach
Fine. It is very beautiful and clean. The beach is sandy, the entrance to the sea is pebbles. There is no pantheon, just the usual bathing.
Cocktails at a local bar for 2 people - there is little alcohol, paper cups get wet at the moment (take thermos cups from home and pour everything there)
Rooms
Contrary to reviews about a quick and trouble-free replacement, there is none. At the reception we were told that a room with two beds (one large and one small is normal, what are you complaining about... we just wanted one big one). I was confused by the torn hangers in the bathroom, the hair dryer in the room is running on its last legs. Terry bathrobes are given
Entertainment program
Children's animation, concert program daily at 2 locations. It's peculiar. Sometimes the thought seemed like "the toastmaster is cheerful and the contests are interesting"-but they entertain as much as they can.
Overall, it wasn't bad. But I would not recommend the hotel and return there, I would rather look for a longer time.
