Good afternoon!We stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago..And what I want to say..
We were immensely satisfied with almost everything..the territory is very beautiful, the rooms are clean ... there is just plenty of food and for every taste, both lean and vegetarian and ordinary..in addition to breakfast, etc., French fries and ice cream are free on the beach..
And most importantly, the sea is not ordinary..It is clean, beautiful and has a gorgeous sand thanks to its bay..
I advise you to visit this place with children and be sure that you will all have a rest because there are wonderful animators there..Lisa is like most people in the first place (she is very attentive, cheerful, active)Our daughters just wouldn't leave her side..There is also Vika, a sweet girl..but I would also like to mention the dark-skinned girl Maria, everyone called her..She's very funny..although the children did not understand her because she speaks English, but she does not know Russian..but they still managed to understand each other and it was fun and cool for everyone!!!

We rested from 21.09 to 03.10. The hotel is gorgeous. All the guys are just great!!! The rooms are large and cleaned every day. The sea is gorgeous, the sand is coming!!! A relaxing holiday. Mostly Europeans are pensioners. The staff speaks Russian poorly, and not much English. The room stock is tired, but you can live. The sea is good, the beach is cleaned daily. The key stopped working at 15:00... the reception forgot to extend our room in the system. After the beach, a few hours before departure, it was an unpleasant surprise to run into a closed door, I had to go back to the reception and waste my time. No one came to take the room (we were called to the room and asked to leave). The suitcase itself had to be lowered into the hall from the third floor by stairs without an elevator, although upon arrival the suitcase was delivered to the room for a tip.
"-" An hour after handing over the key, we were presented with a claim that one Coca-Cola was missing from the bar in the room and demanded payment. The fact is that no one in our family drinks this drink. We didn't pay, because we didn't accept the bar upon arrival (there was just a list with a price without quantity), we didn't use the bar.

"-" Apples are cut and put in a bowl of water so that they do not darken... I ask for a whole one apple for the child, at once the person is not happy at the distribution, they point me to the soaked cut apples... from the fifth request , an apple is already being brought in raised tones . My son eats only whole apples, so I had to go through this quest.
"-" in 10 days, they gave 2 mangoes and yes, they cut 2-3 pieces at the distribution again, explained that to me for three people, with an outstretched hand, you stand again and look at a dissatisfied face.
"-" The juices on the distribution are water + fruit concentrate, sometimes they were diluted heavily. Chemical taste.
"-" Grapes were given 2 times in 10 days and then grapes were not on a twig, but in bulk ...

We didn't swim in the pool, passing by for breakfast, the smell of bleach was very pungent. There is no saltwater pool.
The only thing that pleased me was the sea, the sandy beach, and the good weather.

As much as the restaurants impressed us that year, they disappointed us this year. Exactly half the assortment, dirt on the tables. Even the much-vaunted Thursday night party for three hotels in the Labranda chain left a painful impression. I understand that Egyptians do not drink, but when they poured tea instead of whiskey into a glass for my husband, it's something. Beer is disgusting, as well as wine. You can drink OUZO from the local, do not dilute it, because it will become cloudy))
When I praised Labranda Royal before, the emphasis was on the fact that this hotel does not serve the food that was left over from breakfast lunches. Yes, it was, but not this year.
In a tent by the beach, instead of a variety of snacks and snacks, an evil aunt sits every day, who will never start baking tortillas until you show her the money (and it's free).
Cute buns in the form of sweets, fruits or pastries have also disappeared by the pool in the afternoon.
There is also no daily insect repellent treatment this year.
Regarding animation: Only Lisa remains good and pleasant, fulfilling her duties at 200 percent. The rest of the animation staff is new and is in no way interested in involving vacationers in at least some kind of entertainment. Stupidly dancing memorized dances and a couple of sports classes!
This year, there was a lure for regular customers - a VIP lounge, where from 17 to 19 hours you can relax, drink "elite" drinks and snacks. But when my daughter and I (as VIP clients) came to see this "Splendor" for the first time, we were met at the entrance by a man who said: this is for VIP on the list. and with a look like we, a couple of homeless people, took a wrong turn...After he found us on the lists and invited us with a forced smile, of course, there was no desire to stay there.
All this does not add to the desire to visit this hotel again. And it's very sad that your impression was so quickly shattered by the reality of today's Labranda Royal.

Now children are not allowed to swim in the small pool of the family rooms, only adults. In this hotel, children are unnecessary - remember this, children must suffer, in the sun, from the lack of sun beds, it does not matter, but children in this "paradise of rest" are definitely superfluous. Let them play and swim in the heat in the big pool, burn out, and the adults will lie down and enjoy themselves. I write this because after 3 hours there is no sun at the small pool, it is very convenient ..... it was before.... Secondly, the gym and table tennis were removed from the halls and thrown onto the beach. It is not very clear who will want to practice in the heat with a barbell and dumbbells, even with a view of the sea. Previously, it was very convenient and pleasant, in a cool place, but now athletes go through the forest. The other thing is worse, the premises are just empty now. And table tennis, of course, can't be played in the evening or in the afternoon, because either a strong wind is blowing or it's hot or it's dark. Thanks to the hotel management for this "thoughtful" decision.
We bought a SIM card, at that time they really helped us activate it at the reception, spending 3-5 minutes. Pros - the food has become better, there is more choice and it has really become tastier. The Russian-speaking girl Lara was able to make us a great room that we wanted - the first floor, thank her very much, it's clear that the person is customer-oriented. I recommend mango and lingonberry. The bar is open. What surprised me a little was that they didn't have napkins, some red scarves on the tables. So take some dry wipes. Lunch: well, everything is there that your heart desires, again, the bar is open (did I just go there?) :) The staff is ready to kiss you, very friendly people. They speak half of it in Russian, but only in the bar :) You can say Shchekuran is Arabic for THANK YOU, they answer Athos-so please. If you want a normal more or less drink, go to the bar near the reception and take Brandy or vodka.There's such an awesome bartender, great. Ah, guys, I forgot to say, if you go, take ALENKA's chocolates with you, they will change the number for them if necessary, it's like currency :) The pools are very blue, freshwater, and one of them has a bar inside. The hotel was well-priced, very nice and clean, but the rest was greatly spoiled by the tasteless food. It's almost impossible to eat literally anything except yogurt for breakfast. We were disappointed.
The hotel is clearly not up to 5, a maximum of three and that's a stretch, and I put this rating on nutrition. Breakfasts and lunches are held in the "restaurant" on the beach (an open veranda, the choice is very meager, if you can still choose something for breakfast and what I saw was inedible sausage, sliced cheeses (but there were black hair in the common plate), eggs in all variations, unleavened porridge, twenty plates with rolls (but +/- they are all the same), yoghurts, vegetables and fruits in a separate room of this beach dining room, but cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, cherished radishes, some greens, only fried eggplant was edible, but with fruits in this hotel it's quite a problem-green melon, oranges pieces, disgusting inedible dates and that's it. There was simply no choice of food for lunch: there was only chicken from meat, spaghetti like bolognese was cooked, soup (just tinted water without meat and vegetables), fruits and vegetables were the same as for breakfast. Dinner - we thought well, at least it would please us here, but alas, the dinner was held in the main restaurant, but the most edible food was rice and meat (like beef stroganoff), everything else was inedible (cabbage rolls inedible, fried cutlets from incomprehensible meat, again chicken in chunks), rice was from the side dishes, vegetables are cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce leaves. There were dumplings - tasted, tasteless, sour dough. Desserts - there were two tables with identical chocolate cakes (only on one plate they are cut into a rectangular shape, on the other the same round shape, the top is slightly different, and so everything is the same). There were no fruits for dinner (( also for lunch and dinner, the coffee machines do not work, only tea in small mugs, most of which are dirty on the distribution. There are no paper napkins on the tables, as for me this is also a minus. To say that we are upset about the food in this hotel is to say nothing. The children wanted to eat at 17 o'clock and as it turned out, there was no food between 15 and 19... The sea is a lagoon with sand like a very small shell, the toilet is far from the beach. Crows are flying on the beach, shitting on the deck chairs. We were in an Italian restaurant-I did not like it, spaghetti is not delicious, pizza tastes better for lunch in the main restaurant, beef is normal. The wine in the hotel is bad, warm and fermented. If the food had been different, with enough high-quality dishes and fruits for breakfast/lunch/dinner, then the assessment would have been different

The Labranda Royal Makadi 5* hotel was generally pleased.
In general, the hotel is quite good - after 5 * in Turkey, it may disappoint a little at first, but after a day or two it absolutely fascinates.
Our room was of the Superior Garden view category (with two beds 160cm and 90cm), spacious. The room has a safe, refrigerator-minibar, kettle, soap, shampoo, gel, hair dryer, spacious wardrobe, many drawers. The bathroom had a full bath (I saw mostly showers in the reviews). Yes, visually cabinets and cabinets look outdated, but this does not affect the functionality.
The rooms were cleaned regularly and well.
The air conditioning system in the rooms, as usual, was central - it did not always work, it was stuffy, I had to open the balcony. By the way, mosquitoes regularly flew in from the open balcony - the children were pretty bitten, so it's better to stock up on fumigators and itch remedies in advance. Staff are fighting mosquitoes and regularly fumigate the area, but the winged ones still constantly appeared in the room.
Wifi catches well in the reception area, the further to the sea, the weaker the signal and disappears completely on the beach (closed WiFi networks of beach cafes appeared on the beach, so if necessary, you can connect there by getting a password). Our room was in the section of the hotel that is closest to the others (there are three in total) located to the parking lot and reception, so I even caught WiFi in the room.
The food was generally decent - a thematic menu was announced every day (Egyptian, Asian, German, Spanish cuisine, etc.), and in addition to some daily basic dishes, a number of thematic dishes were offered. Personally, our children's diet was not very diverse here: rice, spaghetti, French fries or mashed potatoes, pizza (pizza is wonderful!). There was a diet menu (boiled poultry, fish, vegetables, rice). There are both fresh and fried vegetables. Meat and fish are mostly fried and spicy.
Baking: a lot of the same type of sweet cakes, national sweets in syrup, some are really delicious. The fruits are juicy and sweet. In general, you can definitely find something to your taste.
Special thanks to the staff: we had a question about the safe and a small breakdown in the bathroom - they reacted instantly, the employee was in our room after 5 minutes and quickly fixed everything.
And I was very pleased with the animation - there are active guys from completely different countries in the team (including the girl Lisa from Russia who we liked), everyone speaks English.
Personally, according to our observations, the hotel is focused on entertaining tourists both during the day and in the evening - there is sports animation (yoga, classes by the pool), children's animation (a wonderful playground under a canopy and a separate house where children play, draw with an animator. In the evenings, there is always a mini-disco for children; thematic classes are also held during the day, for example, pizza cooking). There are shows in the evenings (dancing, fire, etc.), disco 18+.
A special feature of the hotel is a whole street with a la carte restaurants, where it is pleasant to walk in the evenings, and you can have dinner (twice - for free, by appointment). We were in an Italian restaurant - it's really delicious!
A few words about the structure of the hotel:
The Labranda Royal and Labranda Club Hotels are located nearby. They are separated by a promenade (restaurant street). Evening shows are held in the Amphitheater on the territory of the Labranda Club. Personally, we did not have enough information pointers where to look for this Amphitheater and what programs will be held when. We were just lucky - on the very first evening we accidentally came across the Amphitheater right before the start of the show, and then we already knew where to go.
The beach itself is pleasant, clean and wide - there are a lot of sun loungers. Some of them are equipped with wind barriers. In November, there is an umbrella with free sun beds at any time of the day. But it is better to take sun loungers by the pools before breakfast.
The pools themselves are 4:
1. Heated (it is half very shallow - for children, half quite deep)
2. Ordinary, without heating - deep
3. Separate children's room without heating - knee-deep, but no slides, convenient access. Therefore, it was usually empty, and the children frolicked in the heated one.
4. A separate pool for relaxation, children are not allowed to enter there, so those who are looking for silence usually rested there (by the way, there were plenty of free sun loungers at any time of the day).
Perhaps that's all, and we are very pleased with the choice of Labranda Royal - our vacation here was a success.
The hotel, in general, is not bad, has lowered the score for positioning themselves as five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, and they charge "five-star" money for accommodation, but it's never a five. A B-minus, at best.
Of the cons: maybe, of course, we are spoiled by the Turkish fives, where there is a water park, evening concerts, a free sauna-hammam, and good animation-a mini club for children, and top-level feeding, where the rooms have such little things as a set of thread with needles, a shoe-cleaning cloth, a beach a thermos bag, etc., but there is absolutely none of this in this hotel. Of the sweets, every day there is only a dry biscuit, poured with icing sugar of different colors - there is no variety. There are "restaurants" A La carte (Greek, Asian, Indian...), we decided to go to the Indian: the menu is the most sophisticated, the interior does not resemble India at all from the word "at all", they did not give us tables to choose, they put us where the wind was blowing, explaining that only these tables are designed for two (we were alone with his wife), although the restaurant was only a quarter full. They left there without finishing - it was completely uncomfortable and "without a soul." A fat stake for “A La carte". When we went on excursions, we asked for lunch boxes with rations: once they refused us (because, you see, we told them about it later than eight in the evening), and the second time we made an application in advance, with a written note that we are vegetarians and in no case should there be anything in the ration meat - as a result, we were given dry rolls with sausage and juice with tangerine (bravo!, what else can I say). Otherwise, the casual food was quite acceptable: cheeses, greens, omelets, pasta, rice, etc.
On the plus side: very friendly staff - smiling, polite, everyone from young to old knows at least English (in the same Turkey, half of the staff only speak Turkish). Not everyone knows Russian, but it wasn't a problem - I was happy to practice my English). We cleaned the room every day, and with humor: they would put a power bank on the bed, and a pattern of towels around it, then they would hang socks on the leg of the floor lamp beautifully, then they would do something else - we appreciated it)).
The beach with its cozy cove, in which we discovered a coral reef under water 50 meters from the shore, and enjoyed swimming with a mask and fins, exploring the colorful underwater world, without having to leave the hotel. The beach is sandy, the sea is clear, azure, gentle.
I really liked the landscaping of the hotel: a lot of mature palm trees, a lot of beautifully trimmed deciduous trees and shrubs, a lot of fragrant flowers - in general, it is very cozy and sincere. The contingent of the hotel, according to my feelings, consisted of 60 percent of age-old Germans, 30 percent of Russians and 10 percent of all the rest. There were few children, there were no discos either, so if you want comfort and silence, and at the same time you are not at all picky about food, then you are here - for all its disadvantages, the hotel is sincere, with a pleasant atmosphere. Well, personally, the hotel did not hook us enough to come here for the second time (probably mostly because of the feeding and the lack of a free sauna-hammam), although the overall impression remained positive, and in general the rest was quite a success. To the management of the hotel: tighten the issue of food and you will be happy!

They immediately put on bracelets and gave us a number of our choice. There was no disgrace in any hotel. The food is not where to go. They gave only beef and chicken, everything was overcooked on top of the coals, moreover, one small piece at a time, and then they turn away or wave their hand. The drinks are disgusting . Warm and stray wine. We got poisoned there. No fruit except sliced oranges and apples. We went and offered watermelons for 2 euros per piece. They ate only rice. And that's a five. The sea in this bay is terrible, it is constantly green with tiny and mud floats, it is not possible to lie on the beach bitten by small fleas. I had to go to the pool. And we paid so much for swimming in the sea, not in the pool. The service and the service are ugly. I advise everyone not to take a tour to this hotel, especially with children.

The beach is sandy, the entrance to the sea is excellent, the sea is clean. There are no coral reefs, but there is a passage on the territory of the neighboring hotel. We rested in Labrande Royal on NG. The hotel is, of course, "worn out." It doesn't catch your eye if you don't look closely. The room stock is old, worn, but the beds are 1 m wide, which is more than in Turkey and therefore convenient. The room was taken with a view of the garden, the usual standard, two beds. It was quiet .The service is good, the staff is courteous and courteous. But I had to ask for bathrobes and slippers at the reception. The room was cleaned every day, and if you give a few American tugriks, then the flowers will stand. The territory is well maintained, there are many flowering bushes, roses, cacti. The beach is a convenient entrance, the bottom is sandy, there are small reefs. There is a passage to a large reef where you can dive with a mask. There were plenty of sun beds .In principle, there were few people, the Germans preferred a heated pool and a bar in the middle. There are many offers for excursions, for the SPA. Everything is for the amateur. The food, of course, is a little meager when compared with 5* hotels in Turkey. As they say, you won't be hungry, but the choice is small. Makadi is 30 km away. there is nowhere to go from Hurghada, as well as in the hotel-it is limited on one side by the desert, on the other by the sea. You can walk along the coast, on the territory of other hotels, but if you want something there, then you have to pay for everything. The Labranda Club and the Royal are two different hotels. On the territory of the neighboring Stella there is a small shop where Maradonna works-I recommend you to visit. He speaks excellent Russian, will do a massage, apply a mask on his face, treat him to tea. The shop has everything, his brother keeps "MINA JEWELRY", ask them and they will show you how to get to him. There is also a Pharmacy with cheap, but very good EVA cream-I recommend it. My husband and I stayed at this hotel in late May and early June. Of course, we are not gourmets, but we must manage to spoil such a large amount of food. The only plus is that you won't get fat on vacation! There are no complaints about the hotel's territory. to the service too.On the beach, we were first bitten by either fleas or midges, the beach was treated that evening after the complaint, the next morning, there were hordes of grasshoppers that ate these insects.The horror!!!! In general, I do not recommend going to this hotel at all. By the way, I had to pay $40 extra for the room.
