Mixed feelings! There are both advantages in trying to diversify the evenings, then strawberry festivals, fish, meat, beautiful territory, daily room cleaning, but also of the disadvantages: dirty dishes, there are several evil chefs at the distribution who are insolent, throw like dogs, as if you are eating his family.
We had a family vacation (three children of 11 months, 3 years, 4.5 years old) on September 20-11, 21 years old. Disgusting food, dirt and unsanitary conditions in the dining room, you have to fight for food. The hotel for children is practically not separate, the children's animation in the neighboring hotel is very mediocre. The beach is good, but vacationers "score" places from 6 a.m. and dump before lunch, the administration does not react. There are no family rooms, they are given regular rooms with additional beds. Among the advantages: a large, beautiful and green area, many pools, an excellent lagoon.

The territory is large and beautiful, which is a plus.Food Service is a minus for everyone, only give money then they will serve
The hotel used to be at the highest level. There are a lot of Ukrainians and Arabs now. Rooms with leaky plumbing and weak animation. We miss the early days. Of the advantages, a chic promenade and themed dinners every evening, they are beyond praise.
The hotel is wonderful. It matches its stars. The territory is well maintained, everywhere is clean. The staff is polite and attentive. The rooms are large and spacious. Towels are cleaned and changed daily. The food in the restaurant is beyond praise.
A good place, everything is tripled in order for a person to have a full rest - an honest 5 Stars. It requires a little cosmetic repairs in some places, however, but, in general, everything works, everything functions. The kitchen is excellent, the service is excellent. The beach is excellent, the first line and comfortable - sand and clear sea. The pools on site are very good. Animators are generally well done, a separate song)) The shops on the territory are expensive and difficult to bargain with. If you need to buy something, either to a nearby hotel (literally behind the wall) or to the city (by taxi or bus - but you also need to bargain for the price specifically). In general, rest, we recommend it!
Nice hotel, clean, the staff is polite. A good lobby bar - they make good coffee and have a good view of the pools and the sea. The food is not varied, almost the same thing every day, but Stella di mara is another matter.
A good hotel in terms of price-quality ratio. When the hotel was fully loaded, there were problems finding a table for lunch and dinner. Limited selection of meat dishes, questionable quality alcohol. In general, I recommend the hotel.
A good beach, smooth sandy entry into the sea, there is something to do, for example: football, surfing, exercise in the morning

Hurghada Airport upon arrival in Egypt
We flew EgyptAir, without delay. Upon arrival in Hurghada, the PCR / vaccination certificate was checked on the plane for about half an hour. Before the border guards, we were met by the type of "TUI, Coral, etc. employees" who sold visas for $ 27-28. Do not see these scammers, they sell a visa for $ 25 on the side of them. Pay in dollars of any denomination.
There are a lot of porters (red T-shirts) near the baggage belt, who impose a baggage transportation service. There are helpers hanging out near the buses of tour operators who load your luggage for $ 1, we fell for them, because we thought that our driver was helping. Then we waited (about 30 min.) while all the buses are lined up in a column and the police will escort us from the airport (the new requirements of the Russian Federation for Egypt for our tourists), in fact, complete profanation, since after the airport the police dispersed. Why such a performance to drive through the airport is not clear. I think the idea was to have every bus guarded on the way to the hotel.
Hurghada Airport for departure to Russia
EgyptAir flew there without delay, and back with an hour delay due to excessive screening. Description of the inspection:
At the entrance, they ask for a ticket and passport, then a queue to the metal detector frame, where they are forced to take off shoes / outerwear, then a police post where hand luggage is turned out, there you enter your data into the accounting book, then a queue for baggage registration, after they give you a migration card, which you fill out and hand over to the border guard, after again the metal detector frame, where you take off your shoes / clothes, they turn out your hand luggage, they can put it in a scanner to check if you are carrying something in yourself, then again an entry in the accounting book and you are in a separate airport building, where only Russians are. There are two duty free shops, one cafe. Internet for 15 minutes.
Hotel
1. Check-in
We arrived at 11 a.m., we received a room at 14 o'clock. There is no welcome drink/towel or other welcome bonuses. Previously, 14 were not allowed to check in, they say come up in half an hour and so until 14 you go to them every half hour. They try to give you a number that is not the one you paid for, swear, then give you a normal one.
2. Room condition
We had a room on the 3rd floor with a side view of the sea and the promenade with a la carte restaurants, a large balcony. The furniture and plumbing were old, but not broken, and there was no mold in the bathroom. It can be seen that the ceiling is periodically leaking in the air conditioner area. There was a problem with the mini fridge, there was a thick piece of ice on the freezer and the cold was buzzing loudly. We contacted the reception, after some time we changed the refrigerator. The room smelled of food from the a la carte restaurant area in the evening. Once, after processing the greens, the smell of chemicals was felt from insects. Noise from the Coco Loco club is heard until 01:00-02:00.
There is no bathrobe and disposable slippers in the room, only a dispenser with liquid soap from the shower accessories.
3. The condition of the hotel
The hotel is old. It seemed that they were trying to keep it in decent condition, but in some parts. For example, it can be seen that, if possible, the rooms are "refreshed" and the open area is taken care of (lawns are watered, trees are cut figuratively, flowers are grown along the paths), but at the same time the condition of the common areas leaves much to be desired: the doors in the toilets in the lobby/ by the pool are all some kind of cracked / rotten, locks / handles they are broken, instead of them the latches are screwed inside. The glass partitions in the lobby are stained in some places, as well as marble slabs on the columns, stair railings in some places, broken tiles by the pool, worn mattresses on the sun beds.
4. The Internet
Wi-Fi is provided free of charge, catches in the lobby, in the room, by the pool. Not on the beach. It works unstable.
The description of the tour operator indicated that it was possible to purchase high-speed Wi-Fi, but the reception said they did not know what it was about and that there was only one option for Internet access.
It is better to buy a sim card for those who need the Internet.
5. Nutrition
There is meat, fish, poultry, pasta, everything is delicious. Themed dinners are held almost every evening.
The disadvantages include:
- lack of fresh fruits included in the concept, they offer paid ones for $ 2, we tried mango and strawberries - we didn't like both,
- local alcohol and powdered juices,
- queues are accumulating for food and drinks,
- drinks on the beach are poured into plastic cups with a volume of about 150 ml,
- there is a gang of sparrows operating in the restaurant on the beach. If you unknowingly leave a plate of food on the table and walk away, then the birds will come in a crowd and eat your food. I think that sparrows are unsanitary. The staff does not pay special attention to them, and does not warn guests about the food spoiled by sparrows on the tables,
- there is coffee only for breakfast, it tastes average, powdered milk,
- local alcohol (rum, vodka, whiskey, etc.) all from the same Egyptian manufacturer – Pharaoh, very low quality.
The hotel has flyers for free admission to a la carte restaurants, we found out about it somehow by accident, the staff did not say anything about it when checking in. We were in two: Red Dragon (Chinese) and Cairo (Egyptian). I did not like Red Dragon, the staff was not very friendly, the dishes did not match the description - for example, in the chicken salad I had 1 tiny chicken lump, and in the beef, which I ordered as the main course, there were no declared noodles and there was only 1 mushroom, which looked more like champignon than shiitake.
On the contrary, I liked Cairo, the staff were very friendly, smiling, they came up and asked if they needed more wine, etc. The food was delicious, the water was brought quickly.
It was delicious in Greek, but it took a long time to bring everything.
6. The beach
The hotel has its own beach with a gentle entrance to the sea. We have to look for free sunbeds, there are already a lot of towels occupied in the morning, but we always found free ones. The sea water on the main beach was cold, but if you move to the left to the bungalow, you can find a warm one. On the side of the Labranda Club hotel there is a small reef where we saw stingrays, mullet flocks, huge hedgehogs, also opposite the bungalow. If you walk along the pier of the nearby Stella hotel (they let you in without any problems), you can swim for a long time and admire different fish.
There are many local sellers of excursions, boat trips, surfing lessons, safaris, camel rides, SPA/manicure /pedicure, tattoos on the beach, and they all come up to you 10 times a day in turn with animators in order to sell their services, which is pretty encouraging. At the end of the rest, they begin to approach less often - they probably remember in person. We liked Samir (the seller of boat trips), he gets in touch, if he doesn't like something, he will always fix the situation with some kind of bonus.
7. Animation
During the day, football/volleyball/boccia, yoga, water gymnastics, etc. are offered on the beach. In the evening, there is a show in the amphitheater of the Club hotel - we were at a magician, a fire show, and generally liked it.
But there is no information anywhere about what will happen and when. I had to ask the animators or look out for activities that had started.
8. Staff/Service
Not all staff are friendly. The reception staff seemed neutral and indifferent, with an endless "come back in half an hour." One day after dinner we ordered cocktails and wanted to go to the room with them, but on leaving the bar we were stopped and told that we had no right to take glasses with us, because these are glasses of the Club hotel or something. I had to pour it into the aforementioned plastic micro cups, it was strange, as if we were some kind of thieves trying to steal the dishes.
Beach towels are changed only through a call at the reception, or if you contact the staff on the floor. We had no problems with the shift, we contacted the staff on the floor and immediately received clean ones. Friends who were vacationing with us had them, the staff on the floor according to the reception scheme all the time offered them to come up in half an hour, as a result, they walked for several days with only beach towels, because they were tired of listening about half an hour, but they did not want to swear and spoil the mood.
On the day of departure, we wanted to pay for the extension of the room, but we were refused, because the hotel is overcrowded. Nevertheless, we were able to leave our luggage in the luggage room and before departure we were given a key card to an empty room where we could change clothes and take a shower.
Conclusion: the tour cost 140 thousand rubles, make the rest of the conclusions yourself.
The hotel is not bad, but it really does not pull for 4 stars. They may not have been able to recover from the crisis yet. The huge number of families from very near Asia with a huge number of children was very stressful. The last couple of days of rest, it felt like we were living in a hostel for migrant workers)))
We liked it. The food is not varied, but overall the hotel tried its best. A serious disadvantage is that there is no coral of your own, you need to go somewhere to their neighboring hotels.
A premium class hotel. It's not cheap, but it's worth it!
Polite staff. There are children's and adult animation, 2 swimming pools, a gym. Next to the shop with all sorts of stuff "Misha shop". There are also many small shops and kiosks. The contingent is mostly aged Germans. A quiet and cultural holiday.
I'll be back here again!
Pleasant, helpful and friendly staff! The Internet is certainly weak, but still at times it was possible to send photos and voice messages!!!The beach is super!!!The animation is good! The food is excellent!!!
