we rested from 12.10.24 to 19.10.24, a great place for a quiet and cozy holiday. Very beautiful, green and cozy area. The boarding house is renovated, everything is clean. The rooms are cozy, clean linen, daily cleaning. The restaurant is a separate topic, the restaurant has a beautiful interior made in the old style, there is an outdoor terrace overlooking the sea and mountains, you can stay in it for hours admiring the scenery. Cooking is very tasty and homemade, the food quality is good. Homemade wine is free at lunch. The sea is beautiful, the beach is private with sun beds and umbrellas. There is a charming view of the mountains from the beach to the mountains. My wife and I are capricious tourists and have been to many countries and always stay in good hotels, so having experience I definitely recommend it! Thanks to the staff! Very nice and lovely people!

We rested in this boarding house in July 2024 for ten days. The impressions were only positive. A great beach nearby in 2 steps, its own, spacious, with beautiful views of the mountains.
The spa is wonderful, an excellent swimming pool, the territory, delicious varied food in the dining room, attentive staff, the presence of a medical worker on site, a tour agent on site is very convenient, good Wi-Fi on site even next to the sea.
The room has almost everything you need, even a hairdryer. Despite the fact that they lived on the 1st floor with a view of the city, the noise from the street did not interfere at all with the balcony door closed. There were minor flaws in the number at the entrance on the first day, but they were immediately eliminated in front of us. Of course, there are some disadvantages by number (audibility in the bathroom, lack of drinking water, few towel holders), but in general there are more advantages! We recommend this boarding house for recreation.

I really enjoyed my stay at the boarding house. The standard room is on the 2nd floor with a sea view, which is a 2-minute walk away. The room has everything you need for comfort, only shower gel and shampoo you need to buy yourself. Bathroom towels and beach towels are changed after 2 days, cleaning every other day, and if necessary more often, they will not refuse. The food is excellent, homemade (buffet), 3 meals a day, with pastries, cakes and fruits, a varied menu. The pebble beach is sparsely populated, there are always enough sun loungers. The sea is quite clear, unless, of course, it is stormy. There is no entertainment on site, but there is table tennis and, specifically for our family, this was enough. Boat trips, banana, pill, parachute, paraglider, excursions of all kinds... Everyone can choose something. But the sea and a relaxing holiday with accommodation in buildings in the style of the Stalinist Empire are the main things. I highly recommend the "Cote d'Azur" in Staraya Gagra!

There is a large enough warm pool, if there are waves on the sea, you can swim in it. A small playground with carousels and swings is equipped for children, there is a trampoline. Good day everyone! We stayed at the hotel for 4 days in July 2024, in the 2nd building. These were great vacation days! Everything is for 5. The room is comfortable and comfortable, we booked with a sea view and that's what happened!!! An excellent boarding house located in a very beautiful place in the Old part of the city of Gagra on the very seashore. Early in the morning, open the window and go out on the balcony you will hear the singing of birds, the sunrise over the mountains and the sound of the sea. Polite and caring staff. High-quality room cleaning. High ceilings and thick walls keep the rooms cool even on very hot days. The food is varied. Only fruits and berries are missing in season. For lunch, a glass of homemade wine. A well-maintained blooming garden of hydrangeas, roses, fragrant magnolias, cacti and palm trees. The pool is not heated, but in summer this is not a problem. The staff treats guests like friends or relatives. Wonderful people. We will be happy to return to this wonderful place again!

The beach is Galician and dirty. No one cleans up the garbage. In the neighboring hotels too . The room was not cleaned. The bedspread was immediately removed. Only when they said they were gone. The food is poor, but edible. I didn't have enough coffee beans. Although there was a cafe nearby. Small, but comfortable. There's delicious coffee and cakes.

We rested at this boarding house with our daughter from August 31 to September 15, 2024. The impressions of the rest are only positive. We rested in the 1st building, the room was on the 1st ground floor with a view of the city. I was very upset at first, I asked for a room on the 2nd floor, but alas, all the rooms were occupied. However, this event did not affect our vacation in any way. In the room we had a large 2-bedroom bed, a wardrobe, a small wardrobe with a mirror, in the form of an entrance hall, a large dressing table with a mirror, a refrigerator. There is a shelf with a mirror and a hair dryer above the sink in the bathroom. The territory of the boarding house is very beautiful and well maintained. Every morning, all the plantings are watered and the territory is cleaned. There is also a small but very nice swimming pool on site. When there were strong waves at sea, my daughter and I swam in the pool. Wet cleaning of the room was carried out every other day, the garbage was taken out every day, towels were changed every 3 days (the set of towels for each guest included one bath, for the face, for the legs and a large beach towel). I would like to say a special thank you to the employees of the canteen. At the entrance, we were always greeted by a very beautiful and friendly receptionist, who always greeted us and wished us a pleasant appetite. Special thanks to the waiters, the tables were always clean. Someone writes about the monotonous food, but personally we didn't eat everything that was on the menu, it's just impossible. That's why we didn't get bored with anything. In recent days, I have even given up cakes and pastries, because I have gained a lot of weight. The cooks cook really well, I have problems with my stomach, however, nothing has ever hurt me. We haven't picked up any rotovirus either. We bought drinking water at the store across the street. If I still go on vacation to Abkhazia, then only to the Cote d'Azur.
P.S. A representative of a certain travel agency is sitting on the territory of the boarding house, selling excursions. We bought several excursions from her and that's why we met this woman. She comes from Lugansk (LNR), comes to work from May to October. I also sympathized with her, because there is a war going on there. However, on the day of our departure, I learned that the woman supports Zelensky's policy, and her son is fighting on the side of Ukraine, killing Russian guys. If I had known, I wouldn't have bought any excursions from her. She sits there, shameless, making money from Russian tourists. The employees of the boarding house know everything and do not communicate with her. Does the travel agency that employs her know? And what kind of travel agency is this? There are so many diversions everywhere, it's kind of scary. If I had found out earlier, I would have found out everything. Maybe someone who is not indifferent will raise this issue.

The territory of the boarding house is small with its own private beach, very green, well-groomed, everything is well cleaned and irrigated from morning to evening, the beach is clean, well-groomed on the territory there is a toilet, shower, taps with water for rinsing feet from sand, the beach with its own sun beds and umbrellas plus with its own guards where outsiders are not allowed on the beach. 🏖️🌊🌞
The boarding house itself consists of two buildings, a dining room, a small open-air bar, a pool with very chlorinated water and a building for massage and spa treatments. We lived in the 2nd building where the administrator is located, it was clear that the buildings were recently renovated, clean, bright, our room was spacious enough for two people with a sea view, so it was immediately discussed at the stage of booking vouchers, there was always water in the shower, there were enough towels even (for legs, face, after a shower and for the beach), cleaning was carried out, but not as often as we would like, you will ask to wash, you will not ask to pass by, the linen was changed regularly all 14 days of our vacation, the bed was clean, freshly ironed, in the room there was a mini-refrigerator, TV, hair dryer and, very importantly, air conditioning! We would like to return again, I would like to take off the star for organizing excursions, tickets for which were bought on the territory of this boarding house from a certain Tatiana, organizing excursions NO-KA-KA-Ya, while the cost of the tickets themselves is not small, we kindly ask to vacationers, do not drive and do not spend your money, firstly, the cars that carry our tourists are all subject to write-off for a long time and it is simply dangerous to drive on them, everything shakes and rattles both outside and inside, and secondly, the local drivers themselves are still those reckless drivers in the floor of the eye only they look at the road when they fly along a mountain serpentine, well, if a young girl was also seated next to such a driver due to the limited number of seats, and there are not many tourists and everyone needs to be taken, then he no longer looks at the road along which he rushes at wild speed, but looks more and more at the girl, that next to him and on her knees, exposed from under a short skirt, and this driver absolutely does not care about the safety of those passengers whom he is driving from behind, you must agree, it becomes very creepy from such a ride....No one gives any guarantees for our safety, no one is responsible for anything, that's the problem, but they take our tourists who are going to visit that notorious lake Ritsa for some incomprehensible honey apiaries located in the mountains with two-hour festivities there and with the risk of being bitten by bees ( and God forbid if in a group there are also allergies ) , according to incomprehensible wine shops in the same place in the mountains where not the best quality vinishko is sold, but simply put, how can they delay the time before the tour itself , and the goal is one in such trips to squeeze money from tourists and more. ☹️👆In short, the tour service is disgusting, and the wine and honey business is wonderful!
I would also like to say about the transfer we paid for in advance one day before departure (800 rubles! ) to the airport, where they swore to deliver us in the best possible way, eventually failed,🥴 for some reason they completely forgot about us at the reception and, as always, they told us that this was not their joint, but it turns out ours, we did not remind the administrator of the girl once again, but that we sat in the lobby for 1.5 hours apparently, this did not mean anything to her on the suitcases and the fact that it was her direct duty as an administrator to meet and escort vacationers for this we paid them, as a result, after talking to my husband in Russian for the whole kind of Abkhazian service, we got the hell out, yes, we were taken on a transfer, thank you, what was not thrown halfway under the scorching sun and with suitcases, but the question is, what did we pay 800 rubles for??? 🧐 🤔The sediment is not good, so if you have time and you have a few things with you, take the bus yourself to the Psou border checkpoint and it's cheap and more reliable, and the cost is only 50 rubles! And after the border checkpoint, buses are already going through Adler and straight to the railway station or to the airport, and next time if we go on vacation to Abkhazia, we will do just that. I'm going to visit this hotel 4 or 5 times this summer (I forgot 😊). If you leave the hotel and go left, you can walk to the colonnade, the place where the movie "Winter Evening in Gagra" was filmed, there is a good park nearby. The two-room room, located on the 3rd floor where we lived, is not bad, but the air conditioner is buzzing very much. If you turn it off, then it is completely impossible to sleep, it is stuffy even with the window open. I still didn't like the pillows at all. The crumpled filler could not be beaten. The food in the dining room is without frills. You won't stay hungry, but you won't get much pleasure either. We used the services of the bar, where we ordered several types of cocktails and did not regret it. The beach is clean, there is no shortage of sun beds and umbrellas. The sea is above all praise. The water is clear, without algae and jellyfish.
