The problem is with the skates, they are old, as if there is nothing left inside except plastic. When I took off my skates, I saw that a layer of skin had been removed. I was told that the medical center is on the other side of the rink. It is already strange that the medical center is located on the neighboring side of the entire infrastructure. But it's better now. After asking for a Band-Aid, they told me that they were not there, and gave me two paper napkins. Then why do we need a medical center if there are no plasters in it? I can't imagine what they would have given me if it had been something more serious.

We climbed the Medeu in May. The skating rink was not working and the entire sports complex was closed. So I can't say anything about him. We looked at it from the side, not bad. Beautiful views of the mountains. I was surprised by the lack of souvenir shops and souvenirs, except for a small showcase in the tourist information center. We wanted to buy something with the name "Medeu". But there was nothing! No chevrons, no key chains, nothing at all. It's very strange. In general, there is practically no impression. We went down to the cable car, that's where the impressions are!))

Pretty nature. But a tourist on October 18, 2023 is bored there at Medeo: the skating rink does not work, there is no artificial ice, we are waiting for frosts, the Medeu - Shymkent cable car was turned off from October 16 to October 31 for prevention. But you can take an electric taxi for 700 tenge to the resort of Shymkent. It's very beautiful there! Gorgeous views on the way there and actually at the resort cozy cafes and beautiful nature! As a poet, I recommend going and enjoying nature!

- many ways to purchase tickets
- equipment rental is available
- there are many food courts at the entrance and inside and there is no need, as before, to bring food and drinks with you
- almost the entire area is covered with ice, and previously only the track in a circle was available
- the service is improving every year
Cons:
- the stands are not adapted for the recreation of skaters
- the ice is cut quickly, so it's better to come before the start of the session
In general, everything is cool and we always liked the Medeu skating rink the most!

The car ride to medeo was pleased with the views and a variety of beautiful hotels. We arrived at night, but we didn't regret it. There are 2 ways to climb Mount medeo. 1) the funicular works during the day 2) at night on foot (about 900 difficult steps), where there are pockets of rest with benches along the way, but it will be very difficult for a non-athletic person.
There are cozy, not quite expensive cafes downstairs.
The car can be parked for free, but it is more difficult than for a fee. And be sure to take the jackets.
