I have long dreamed of visiting Medeo, in Soviet times it was one of the coolest vacation spots. Nothing impressive really. Skiing is below average. One lift. Sheregesh, Krasnaya Polyana is more than 100 orders of magnitude higher. BUT I still recommend visiting.
