Our first hotel on a trip to Uzbekistan, the city of Bukhara. Without further ado, after this hotel, the kind of guest accommodation that we liked in this beautiful country was drawn. In total, during the trip (8 nights), we (2 adults and 2 children) changed 4 hotels and remembered the first hotel with warm words. There is everything you need for sleep (you always slept well), breakfast in the morning, with the heat not yet set in - a whole ritual. It is very tasty, original and satisfying. There is always bottled drinking water (0.5) for guests in the refrigerator (the only disadvantage is to take the container later, I have a whole humorous review about the separate collection in Bukhara).
The hotel itself is a sight to see, very authentic (the hotel is more than 200 years old), compact (a kind of well house), inexpensive, located in the historic old town and very dear to the heart.
The only disadvantage of the hotel is the sooo slow administrator. To do something, you need to be reminded 10 times, and if you have agreed to meet exactly by the hour, you can safely go for a walk, he will come in an hour or two, or maybe not. :))
Well, in small things: the TV does not catch anything but exquisite white noise, the Wi-Fi is unhurried, the curtain in the bathroom is kept on prayers. But these are all really small things.
I strongly recommend everyone to stay at this excellent hotel, you will not regret it.
It is a very atmospheric place, caring people work, everything is there that you need to spend the night. The location of the fire. Delicious breakfast, there was hot water. I want to update a little bit on the little things: like the curtain in the bathroom fell, the nail on which the toilet paper holds too, knock out the dust, the Wi-Fi signal is better.
We lived on the second floor, the stairs are steep, but it's an adventure and it's cool that there is also a place to sit in the evening. They were constantly ventilated, because when they checked in, there was stagnant air in the room. When the construction site is finished nearby, it will be generally cool (but it was too much in the way)
A great hotel in a historic building, authentic, you can take beautiful photos, polite staff and especially I would like to mention Aziz's manager, we ask the head to raise his salary, the guy tries everything! THERE are a lot of useful things in our blog 😉
I give 5 to the staff, the guys are very good, kind and try very hard. Modest ones.
The rooms are clean. Delicious breakfast. Pancakes, cheese, butter. We liked everything.
Positive:
1. The feel of a caravanserai: rough brickwork, carpets, comfortable niches for phone and accessories. And at the same time, a modern bathroom, air conditioning;
2. Proximity to the ancient center.
Minuses:
1. In addition to the money indicated at the time of booking, additional fees were charged;
2. When asked to order a taxi in the morning, they offered to take you to the railway station on your own. It turned out to be two to three times more expensive than catching a passing taxi
I booked a hotel for September 17-18 for my family. I received confirmation from the hotel, 3 days before arrival, the hotel asked me once again to confirm my arrival - which was done. Upon arrival, we were refused check-in and offered to stay in a nearby hotel, where the price was increased by 30 percent. The hotel is cheating/! Do not book this hotel!!
Not a bad, authentic hotel. The rooms on the second floor are less authentic))). The breakfasts are simple. It doesn't hurt to update the numbers. The location of the hotel is wonderful. I slept great.
Careful, scammers!
We booked accommodation more than a month before the trip. Before the trip, the owner contacted and offered transfer services. Then I wrote again and clarified the arrival time, we agreed on everything, everything is OK.
Further, on the day of check-in, he writes, they say, he will not be able to receive us, "something happened to the room", he said that he would find another hotel for us. As it turned out, this is a standard divorce scheme.
Only now he started writing in WhatsApp and asking me to cancel the reservation (despite the fact that I will get a fine). He refused to cancel it on his own, insisted that I do it.
Further more. In order not to cancel the reservation, he moved my reservation forward a year against my will! I was shocked when I received the notification in the morning.
Avoid this place. Good luck!
The place itself is really very authentic. But there is one big disadvantage, this is the service. We looked at the booking in advance that there are available rooms, we stopped at this guest house right off the road, the guy at the reception is asleep. When asked if there were any available rooms, he replied no, at the same time, there was not a soul in the hotel itself. To our remark that the booking office issues at least 2 numbers with our request, he informed us that the information there is not correct. There was a desire to try to book rooms from the booking office and see what he would do in this case, but they were extremely tired and no longer wanted to waste time and nerves on him.
The hotel is located close to the sights is authentic, this is probably its only plus, the friendly host, the breakfasts are not bad, but cold, the room is quite Spartan, the floor is stone, there is a carpet on it, which, according to my feelings, is not clean enough, the wires are sticking out, the linen was not very, but was replaced at the request, there were cracks in the doors, there was it's cold, there are dirty streaks on the walls of the bath, there is no place where you can normally hang a towel, a mirror on a rope, generally not very clean
If you dream of not only going to the museum, but also living in it for a couple of days-here you are, exoticism and immersion. Perhaps the most atmospheric accommodation in our tourist life.

An atmospheric hotel. Of course, there are not enough stars from the sky, but this is a 19th-century building and it has a special charm for which you can forgive all sorts of little things. Near the center, in principle, in a couple of hours on foot you will bypass the main attractions. The room had a toilet, shower and, most importantly, air conditioning. Only the cost on the booking and in reality went up by $ 15, but I think it's not a big loss, taking into account the included breakfast and a room for a family of 4 people. The receptionist is polite and tries to help in everything. I recommend it if you are looking for a cheap and pleasant place to stop in Bukhara.
The place is modest, but what I liked is very cozy, clean, there is everything you need! The hosts are very kind, attentive) we checked in it was raining heavily, we were frozen, the hotel owner made us hot tea😊
With excellent potential, reality turned out to be mildly "not very" - dust blows and flies from the windows with slits, because the hotel is right next to the road
Well, the noise from the cars is certainly strong. The room has not been vacuumed for a long time.
There is something to fix
The score is only for the entourage.
It is very colorful, we spent the night in a vegetable store at the end of the 19th century, very atmospheric. The cost is lower than the average for the market, all amenities are available. Right in the center of Bukhara
It is very dirty, there is hair and dust everywhere in the rooms. You step on carpets and dust flies. They took another one to their hotel, it was cleaner there, but at 00.30 the music started playing very loudly and the administrator said that he would not do anything. In general, one owner and I do not recommend either this or any other hotel
Great place! An old authentic building, and the rooms have the most modern, perfectly combined with the national interior! A rich breakfast. The price per day is inexpensive. It's a pity that we spent the night and left. I want to go back there again!
Great hotel. The national flavor is represented in the interesting details of the interior of the rooms and the courtyard. The wonderful administrator Mikhail is responsible for a delicious breakfast and solving general issues. There is a weak pressure in the soul. But for 30 bucks a day, these are small things.
Terrible service! The booking was free, but before booking we decided to take a look. The guy at the reception was asleep, I had to wake him up. When asked if there are rooms, he said no, but to the argument that there are 2 rooms available in the booking, he said that the booking does not work. When asked what he would do if I made a reservation now, he replied that he would send us to another hotel. Something like this. The view of the rooms did not show
A good hotel. The service and interior are excellent. It would be better if you cover up the door so that it doesn't creak, call a plumber to fix the hose at the sink. Send chefs for advanced training to prepare delicious breakfast.
It's just terrible! If it were possible to put 0 stars, then I would have done so. It all started with the arrival and it was at that moment that I had to grab my suitcase and run! We agreed on an early check-in in advance. In more than a month. On the eve of arrival, they called and confirmed it. They say: come, we are waiting, we agreed to pay for check-in as per day. Have arrived... You weren't expected. Wait for 2 o'clock in the afternoon, and at 8 o'clock in the morning! And we're from the plane. They asked for water or tea several times. The requests were ignored. Then they promised to check in in an hour, but wait outside the walls, because people will have breakfast now, and you are in the way.
The two-room room does not have air conditioning. On the second day, 1 fan was brought. But in the second room, he does not save the situation in any way! There's dirt in the room!there is no toilet paper, soap, water is barely running. The staff is not in contact at all. A working young lady looks at you like a mold and does not even respond to "Good morning". In general, it's a NIGHTMARE! I strongly advise against it.
We booked a hotel on booking, upon arrival there were no empty seats, we were taken to another hotel! Then we found out from the locals that they always do this.
Divorce in Uzbek
They refused to check in saying that something had happened to the room. I started looking for other options. The greed of the owner probably happened ...
I highly recommend it, it is better to consider other options.
The spirit of the 19th century caravanserai has been preserved here. The owners of the hotel are very pleasant. They are always polite, smiling and go to meet customers. The rooms are not large, and because of the thick stone walls, it is cool inside in the heat. The location is in the very center of Bukhara. A cozy courtyard where it is convenient to drink tea and have breakfast. We decided to stay here for two more days. Thanks to the hosts for a great rest and mood!
A great guest house! It used to be a caravanserai (sarai from Arabic is a palace). It was built in the 19th century, was reconstructed, and was also a dormitory for those who studied at the madrasah.
For those who want to experience the spirit of a real caravanserai!
The room is dusty (due to the proximity to the road) and quite noisy, the water pressure on the second floor is useless - taking a shower is a problem!
The staff is stupid! We booked a room with a double bed, upon arrival we said there is no such thing now, spend the night and do it in the morning, but of course we forgot the next day. We came after the tour, I ask: did you do it? In response, some excuses, then they began to throw mattresses over the sheets, they said that they could only do this ((((. With breakfast the same story, they ordered at 8.30 to catch the tour by 9.00, we go down, the guys are still sleeping, as a result we are late, the mood deteriorates.
The location is good, the interiors are vintage! But everything spoils the attitude.....
Mehtar Hotels 2 pcs. We were closer to the center, in the tangled streets of the old town. The taxi driver found them with great difficulty, on a call with the owner. This is not a hotel, but a hostel. Dirty and not cozy. Creepy insects lived in the room. I've never been in a worse place.
One of the best hostels I've ever been to. And certainly the most unusual and interesting. We thought it was a small madrasah, but the administrator said it was a caravanserai. When will you still live in a 19th century caravanserai!
We had a triple room with its own toilet/bathroom. The water, to be honest, heats up badly, but considering how hot it was outside, this temperature was enough. The room has air conditioning, although in such a building it is cool even during the day, on the hottest noon and without air conditioning. There is a small kitchen with tea and a refrigerator. A wonderful patio! And the second tier with a cot! It is very pleasant to sit in the evening and in the afternoon.
There are small shops nearby (in which, mostly, cookies of different varieties).
The area is not bad, such a cozy mahalla. There are various attractions nearby.
In general, I advise you! You won't regret it!
A small hostel in the heart of the city. You can walk to the lake Lyabi House (a restaurant by the water with attractive prices). There is also a sculpture of Khoja Nasreddin on a donkey, very pretty) then there are shopping malls where you can find something interesting from local products.
The guesthouse is located in the old part of the city in an old building.
The contingent is international, mainly young people.
There are two four-bed rooms with amenities, a dormitory room with bunk beds.
In summer, everyone gathers in a large courtyard for socializing.
The breakfasts are very good, homemade, fruits are required.
