I advise everyone, everyone, everyone to visit this museum, you will not regret it. The sea, the sea of positive impressions, especially if you visit it with your family.
There are a lot of equipment and a variety, minus that you can only get into two steam locomotives, it's problematic to look at the wagons at all, and it's worth visiting, of course
An open-air museum, take into account when visiting. Children will find everywhere how to climb on a steam locomotive))) You can't do it at all, but you can't keep the children. Wooden ladders are attached in several places-you can go on them, see the cabin, the furnaces and look into the car. I didn't go to eat there. There is a cafe.
A great museum. It is a little disappointing that many diesel locomotives/steam locomotives, etc., were opened earlier, it was possible to climb inside, sit in the driver's seat. Now everything is closed, they don't open it for ordinary visitors. It can be opened for groups who book (and pay for) tour services in advance.
It's a good museum. You can see all types of railway transport from the time of the revolution to the second half of the 20th century. Something can be viewed from the inside, but not enough. But it's worth a visit.
We arrived in Brest on Monday, the museum was closed, as Monday is a day off! The next day we drove by and decided to stop by, the children were delighted, you can go on some trains to see how everything works!
Of course, it is interesting to see the technique from the outside, but both me and the children would like to see it from the inside. There are very few such exhibits. They could even open the carriage banally. The children liked the ice cream and the layout of the railway in the museum of exhibits near the cafe.
We were with children, 3 and 5 years old, the children really liked it!
There are exhibits where you can go inside, turn the valves in steam locomotives!
I recommend
A great museum. You can see different diesel locomotives, steam locomotives and other equipment. You can look into the windows of the transport. And in some exhibits you can go inside and see how the driver's cabin was arranged, for example.
All appliances are well maintained, in excellent condition. There is a small mock-up with a train, and also in the museum you can learn about the history of railway transport at a small documentary exhibition.
On the territory of the museum there are benches for relaxation, a cafe, a toilet.
A gorgeous museum. I highly recommend it to anyone who is in Brest for the first time. The museum contains various railway equipment, a lot of steam locomotives. And you can also climb inside some of them.
It's like history has stopped. You look at all kinds of locomotives, tractors, mud. A good fleet of railway equipment, it is clear with what trepidation the workers are. Everything is painted and restored. I had a lot of fun. Thank you for your attitude to history.
Physically, it is possible to inspect the cabins of 2 steam locomotives, but there are few, it would be much better to provide access to a larger number of exhibits. Otherwise, it's not bad.
An excellent museum, there is something to see, you can touch and climb, excellent staff, the exposition is huge, we had extremely limited time and nevertheless spent an hour and a half anyway. It is interesting for both adults and children!
A wonderful museum. Diesel locomotives, steam locomotives, trolleys, narrow-gauge railcars, a tank locomotive, a steam locomotive for clearing snow from tracks, cranes, passenger cars from different eras with recreated interior decoration. A rarity for such exhibitions is the opportunity to personally get inside most of the exhibits (stairs have been carefully erected in the right places for this purpose). The driver's cabins and power plants are available for inspection. All trains are in excellent condition, shimmering with freshly painted sides. On the territory of the museum, in a separate building, there is a covered pavilion, where, in addition to technical exhibits, you can watch the movement of a miniature train every 5 minutes along a toy railway laid through mock-ups of mountains, among forests, across fields and bridges. Entrance fee: 3 Belarusian rubles ($1.5). The price is valid for July 2019. The museum is open from 10 to 18

An interesting place. Many of the exhibits were involved in the filming of various films and TV series.
It turned out to be a great tour. The whole family is delighted. You can see, touch, enter the carriages.
The ticket price is minimal.
It is located very well, not far from the Brest fortress.
A great museum! You can climb trains, look into the cabins, learn a lot from the history of the railway. There is a small layout in a separate building. Make it a little lower so that children of 3 years old can see how trains run at their height. It's great that you don't need any stupid QR codes to watch trains.

It is very interesting and informative, there is a lot of interesting information on the signs and stands. And some steam locomotives can even be entered
The museum is good for railway enthusiasts, but there was not enough interactivity, the opportunity to see the cars from the inside - only 2-3 cars are open for viewing
