I would like to have more opportunity to look inside, but it's very interesting.
I remember my childhood.
It is a pity that the exhibits cannot be seen in action.
Of course, there are no ancient ones at all. But there are interesting models of steam locomotives and wagons. There is a museum, very informative and fascinating. I recommend you to visit.
The museum is super!!!
All kinds of steam locomotives and other trolleys. One problem is Monday, Tuesday is a day off! In high season, you should work more!
It's very interesting, you can climb everywhere, look, touch.
It is a pity, however, that there is no ladder in the old cars to look at least out the window.
Yes, maybe 10 years ago I put 5. Now I don't understand, the service is clamped. The trains are all closed, access to 2 or 3 trains. I would like more accessibility, for people where there is no railway, it would be very interesting. And so you just go and watch, there is no courage anymore as it was before
A must-visit. You can enter some trains and see the driver's cabin. There is a permanent exhibition with exhibits from the history of the Belarusian Railways. It is also interesting, children will especially like it, because there is a steam locomotive) there is a small cafeteria, you can eat ice cream, drink coffee)
There are a lot of different locomotives, different years. You can go into some of them and feel like a machinist. I really liked it. I advise everyone to visit this museum.
If you like the railway and you will be in Brest, then it is definitely worth visiting the exhibition of railway equipment.
Especially if you like steam locomotives)
It is beautifully interesting and informative, even for people far from the railway theme. There are many locomotives, steam locomotives, platforms and other things. The history of the railway, the history and fate of people who made a huge contribution to the formation and development of the railway are told and shown. Children have a place to climb and something to touch with their own hands.
The child was delighted, there are diesel locomotives that you can enter inside, there is a sign next to each train. There is a cafe inside the museum.
It is a very interesting place, there are trains open in which children are interested. I think that there should be more open trains. And add open wagons, none.
It is a pity that the history of the development of the museum cannot be understood. You can only look outside. Only a few driver's cabins can be viewed inside.
I hope one day it will be possible to see the interior of the wagons.
We went with the children . They open at 11 o'clock, take this into account when visiting . It is acceptable . There are a lot of steam locomotives , diesel locomotives and other equipment on the street . You can go into some of them and see how the driver 's cabin is arranged inside, how they used to throw coal to keep the train moving . There is also a closed museum of railway equipment on the territory. A small cafe , a toilet . Half an hour is enough for everything . If you look at the exhibits more closely, you may spend an hour here.
Not bad, you can visit with children while staying in Brest. At the same time, there are more exhibits and their variety in Baranovichi. A 5-year-old child liked a small railway with moving trains and an alarm system in the Brest Museum. After that, Baranovich hooked a little bit only with this.
Cool museum! Informative! There are many examples of steam locomotives, it is very interesting. In some, you can climb up the steps and feel like a machinist).
I've been there 2 times, and this time I also brought my daughters. But I would like to go inside anyway, to climb…

The museum is good, there are not many exhibits, but you can go inside some of them. There is a steam locomotive in the context with a description of the work process, it is very informative. There is parking for cars nearby. I recommend you to visit.
A very good museum. The exhibits are beautiful and clean, it is clear that they are being cared for.
The only bad thing is that the museum is closed on Monday and Tuesday)))
This museum is located on the other side of the street opposite the Brest Fortress. Mostly there are steam locomotives and diesel locomotives. But there are also passenger, freight and mail wagons, and even snow removal equipment and cranes. I really liked the opportunity to go into the booth of one of the locomotives - LV-0202, as well as into the cabin of the TE-3 locomotive. I was surprised by the presence of a steam locomotive and a diesel locomotive with partially replaced metal plating glazing, which allowed me to see what is inside under the cladding. The condition of the rolling stock is mainly maintained at altitude, but there are locomotives whose appearance would be nice to update. It would be great if the number of equipment on display in the museum, accessible from the inside, became more than the current two. And there are tables with chairs under umbrellas not far from the entrance. But, unfortunately, the cafe is not working.
There is a huge exposition of equipment from different times, and there are also foreign samples. However, walking around the exhibition without a guided tour is quite pointless. The tour service is available, it is not very expensive, especially if you wait for more visitors at the ticket office and divide the price.
There are many steam locomotives on display. Some of them can be climbed using special wooden ladders. All the equipment is dirty 🤣 you can get dirty like a real machinist 🔧.
An interesting museum, lots of steam locomotives and trains. It will be especially interesting with children. There is access to some trains, you can spin everything, look at it. Many famous films have been shot in this museum. There is a cafe where you can also buy souvenirs.
A wonderful museum, a wonderful guide. It's not too big, but it's a very interesting exposition. I highly recommend it to all guests of the city, especially since almost across the city from the Brest fortress
There are a lot of different exhibits. And in some you can go inside, stay in the driver's seat. The museum is located on the street. Tickets are cheap. The children liked it very much.
A wonderful museum! There are a lot of steam locomotives and diesel locomotives. Many took part in the filming of films. It is unforgettable for children!
Super place for kids and adults
Some trains can be boarded
The building has interesting models of railway stations and a model of a toy railway
I advise you to visit
There are pros and cons. There is more of it in terms of the amount of equipment in Baranovichi. There is no trolley on which you can drive. The only plus is the technique made in the section.
The children will be delighted! Most of the equipment is closed, but several steam locomotives are open and you can sit in the cabin. You can also climb all at your own risk
We stopped on the way to the Brest fortress. There is an extensive open-air museum, interesting exhibits, in some you can enter the driver's cabin, and in some places there are wooden stairs to climb and look inside the exhibit through the window. There is a small pavilion in which there are antique items related to the railway. A 5-year-old child really liked the museum, they barely took it away.
The outdoor exhibition itself seems to be nothing unusual, but there are rare specimens. Most of all I liked the layout of the railway inside the building, where the cafe is. It was just a child's joy when I saw how detailed models of steam locomotives run on an equally detailed and detailed layout! Super!
A great museum. Not big, but interesting. It's just a pity that you can't go to the vogons to look. I advise you to come and take a look. The most interesting thing is the device of the locomotive.
A wonderful museum! There is a lot of interesting information, you can look inside the exhibits and feel like a machinist. There is a small exhibition hall where you can get acquainted with the history of the railway and buy souvenirs. Many thanks to the entire staff of the museum for their hard work, and further prosperity!
The museum is very small, the exhibits are located chaotically, it is impossible to see the internal contents, everything is boarded up. The visit will take a maximum of 30 minutes-1 hour. There is a small cafeteria.
A great place for family entertainment. Arriving in the city of Brest, you should visit this open-air museum. A fairly large and interesting collection of exhibits.
Very interesting exhibits, a lot of old equipment, some trains are open and you can get inside. It immediately seemed that the museum's territory was small, but it took a lot of time to get around everything.
A great place to walk, especially with children. There are a lot of exhibits on the territory. Probably the largest museum of steam locomotives and everything related to them
