A very nice wonderful museum, we went with the whole family, it's better not to go with small children for them it's not interesting, but for adults it's interesting that they will cry.
When you see with your own eyes all the traditions, wealth, economy and writing that come from our ancestors, you feel like you are in the same David. The Golden Man, the Saka Era, the gold jewelry, the clothes you see all this. Strong
The museum as a whole is dedicated to the culture of Kazakhstan, from the endless steppes to original art, of course there are few technologies, but this is the 20th-21st century.
The interior is modern, but the concept of a good old museum is a lot of exhibits behind glass. To be fair, this is how a standard museum should look, but in a modern style.
Well, an absolutely grandiose institution, worthy of the name of the main museum of the republic. An original exhibition that will not leave anyone indifferent. Everyone will definitely find what they are interested in.
Nicely. Rich. Informative. Stylish. but!!!!! It is not filled with information. There is no audio guide (((( I wish you development and prosperity!!!!!!
Informative, interesting! There was no tour, but you can see everything on your own. I liked everything, everything is large-scale and beautiful, there are many exhibitions, thematic exhibits. It would be great with an audio guide...
An excellent museum for learning the history of Kazakhstan. It's very impressive inside. Everything is inspired by the commitment of the spirit of Kazakhstan and N. Nazarbayev.
I highly recommend a guided tour. At t h you need to see the golden halls (separate ticket)
The cost of the entrance ticket is unclear, since the price of 1,000 tenge is indicated on the website, and in reality 1700 comes out with a visit to the golden hall. There is practically nothing to see in this museum, all the exhibits are a new model of a lot of photos. The exhibits of the 5th-8th century BC are worthy of attention, but there are not many of them. Most likely, this is not a museum, but an exhibition. The museum itself is very large, but the occupancy of exhibits is very poor. Parking is available, but in order to find it, you need to try very hard. If you stand facing the entrance to the museum, then the parking lot is to the left of it and the entrance to it is on the next street.

I was there a few years ago. During the pandemic.
But for some reason, I was most impressed by the sculpture at the entrance. These khans with a menacing look, sitting on horses with equipment. Their appearance and energy overwhelmed me, made my heart beat violently and tremble. The authors can be proud of themselves.
I like this museum, it's big, comfortable, and there's a lot to see. It is interesting for children (from six years old, it is not clear to very young ones), adults and pensioners. Do not linger in the first halls, go to the hall of medieval history, the national, the golden hall. You can take a picture against the background of a large yurt and the khan's throne. There is something to see. If relatives have come to see Astana, but it is freezing or windy outside, and Bayterek suddenly does not work, then you can safely take them to this museum. (The last day of the month is sanitary, it is better to call in advance to clarify).
Chic sparkle is beauty , but there are few interesting expositions . But the museum is worth its money. And the place is good - you'll see a lot of things while you go . In the museum itself, the top is a story from the most ancient times and costumes. But from such a cool building on the outside, I expected more on the inside
A wonderful museum with a lot of halls and exhibits. But it's better to come with a good amount of time. We didn't have time to go around everything in an hour. The ticket costs 2000 (including the hall of gold. It's cheaper without it). It doesn't work on Monday. The last Tuesday of the month is the orderlies day.
A good museum, although young, but clearly looking to the future. Interesting lectures and exhibitions are held, I advise you to visit something to your taste)
Hello everyone,
I visited this museum, there is something to see, it is amazing in its scale - large, spacious halls. The expositions are a bit thin, but I believe that in the future there will be more exhibits, and exhibitions will be more interesting.
Everything is in development, 👍
The museum is interesting, there are many exhibits, be sure to visit the golden hall. The only thing is that the audio guide did not work (it was in the rewrite) and extremely incomprehensible navigation through the museum. For example, I somehow got straight from the Genghis Khan hall to the Semipalatinsk training ground...
The cult of Nazarbayev is manifested. The museum is a good one with many exhibits from the life and history of the Kazakh people. Very spacious, lots of space.
I am absolutely delighted with the museum. I was stunned by its size and monumentality. I was pleased that modern art is also presented within the museum.
An excellent museum, breathtaking from the very hall. One of the best I've been in. The prices are reasonable. The downside is that not all employees are friendly. But, as they say, any museum should have its own grumpy grandmother in the wardrobe.
It is very interesting and informative, beautiful and modern, to know the history of your country - by all means, to know the history of your neighbor - to respect him! The exhibition of contemporary art is simply gorgeous!
