It's a very interesting place, although I'm not a fan of caves, but I was impressed. It is amazing what beauty water creates inside the mountains. The ticket costs 700 rubles and it's pretty cool and humid inside, so you need to take a sweater and comfortable non-slippery shoes.

We visited the New Athos Cave twice: for the first time in 2005. The first impressions left the best memories.
Today, I was very unlucky with the guide, I was constantly poking at something on the phone, talking intermittently, the tourists were on their own (guide Oksana). Another drop of tar is the toilet, parking is paid, it seems to be the norm of life now, but it would be quality...But he's not here. The sale of useless merch (stones) and their constant advertising, instead of an informative story about the cave.
The atmosphere and decoration of the cave are wonderful - it is recommended to visit!!!

An interesting place to visit. We arrived at 11:30. Excursion at 11 40. Tickets were sold to everyone who came. There were more than 40 of us. We rode the train standing up. It takes 3 minutes to drive. The cave itself is interesting, it takes 1.5 hours to walk. It's not cold, the sweaters are quite enough.

It's a very impressive place. It is interesting and exciting for children 8-10 years old. They especially like to take the train inside the cave and back and walk through the passages through the huge halls. And it will not leave adults indifferent. Of course, you can also view photos and videos of the New Athos Cave on the Internet, but these are not the impressions that cover when you get there. Just keep in mind that if you visit on your own during the season, you will have to stand in line decently. Of course, this is not the place that you will return to from time to time, but it is definitely worth visiting once.

We didn't expect anything super exciting, although in vain. A very interesting tour and an impressive natural wonder. The only thing that confused me was the fast pace of the tour and the huge queues when buying a ticket. I recommend taking tickets in advance. Or persuade someone, at the beginning of the queue, to take a ticket for you with a surcharge for the "service" =) In general, we did not regret that we went.

This rating is given only to the administration for the organization! The grandmother shouting into the microphone at the checkout, the ill-mannered arrogant guides endlessly climbing without a queue, who send you away with obscenities and they don't care that you are standing in line with the children! Why is it not possible to organize a separate cash register for them? Payment is only in cash, the toilet is paid, the photo is paid! Already at the entrance you get so much negativity that you don't want to go anywhere anymore.

We visited twice, in 12 and this year, 22. We changed the railing in the cave, very convenient, a new train. The guide told me interestingly, the disadvantage not related to the cave can be called the fact that some parents take sooo small children with them, almost infants. Instead of the guide's story, I had to listen to crying.
The wagons are packed, some were traveling standing up. With a 700r ticket, you have to pay for photography and even a banal trip to the toilet. Cards are not accepted. There are three ATMs in the cave building, none of them worked.

There is a huge queue for about an hour for tickets. But for those who come with an excursion, the guides take tickets "without waiting in line". Be prepared that after the "extraction" of tickets you will have to wait a couple more hours until your time comes. But it's already pretty clear what time is written on the ticket, and that's when you'll go. It is very cool in the cave. Either take long-sleeve sweatshirts/windbreakers with you, or you can rent blankets/jackets on site.

05.06.2022 visited the New Athos cave. The cave is super, the scale is amazing, the only tracks and there are a lot of them, and there are sharp descents and ascents, special shoes are needed from the humidity in the cave. The impressions from the tour are positive, although at the end of the journey she fell and, as it turned out, broke her leg. Therefore, my advice to people, especially at an age, is to be extremely careful. Many thanks to the guide, both for the story about minerals and for the general mood created by a very suitable voice and musical accompaniment.
