I have been to this amazing, charming place many times. In winter, there are much fewer people, but even in January we got on a tour an hour later, after buying tickets) imagine what happens there in summer)) In winter, the temperature outside was 5 ° C, and in the cave we finally warmed up, although in summer it is much cooler there. We used to take warm clothes with us, but now we have jackets for rent. It's very interesting there. I advise you to visit this seemingly creepy but beautiful place at least once. No photos will convey the beauty and scale of the cave.

Half of the halls are lakes, pits, faults. Stalactites and stalagmites begin in the middle of the tour, there is at least something to see. I didn't like the lighting in the cave. With the right lighting, it would be cooler and more spectacular.

The flow of visitors is very large, so I recommend coming to the opening so that you do not stand in line waiting for your time.
They "launch" into caves in groups, you will not get there on your own. There are guides, they tell us very interesting things. We visited 6 halls out of 9, the rest are closed to tourists.
The tour lasts 1.5 hours. Very interesting.
The ticket price is 700 rubles / 1 person. toilet, photo and video shooting is not included. Payment in cash
It's cold in the cave, about 12-14 degrees. If you don't have a jacket, you can rent 100 rubles.

A cool cave, huge halls, equipped passages. While we were moving from one hall to another, music was playing, very interesting lighting. Admission now costs 700rubles per adult. We go inside the cave and back from the last hall by train, it's very atmospheric! I also liked the guides 👍🏻

One of the most beautiful and largest caves in Abkhazia. Tickets are sold at the box office on time, in summer there is a long queue. But it's worth it. The service is about 2. Parking attendants with the appearance of criminals charge quite Moscow 200 rubles. for an hour and a half of the tour (instead of a receipt, there is a note cut out on a notebook sheet). To the question: why is it so expensive, they are rude. Entrance tickets - 700 rubles. per person. At the same time, the toilet and sweatshirt (in the caves there are only + 12) are paid. Shooting is also paid, although it is so dark in the caves that you need to have great skills to take a photo. But they don't warn you about it. The staff is conditionally polite. In general, I plunged into the 90s, no matter what.
But I recommend it anyway! For these caves are a unique miracle of nature! It is very beautiful, impressive and informative.
You can close your eyes to the rest.

With my fear of heights, it was a rash decision, I managed to go there without looking at where I was going on the Internet at all… But it was worth it, I recommend sneakers - some far from gentle sections of the path are wet. Only now the music is still catching up with horror and the lights are turned off after the group, so it's scary or not - there's only one option to go forward)). Words cannot describe the cave itself, organizational aspects - hoodies are quite enough, after +30 it was even nice to get to + 14. The ticket price is 700 rubles, the queue is moving fast enough, they were selling at the current time.

Entrance is paid, but everything is fully equipped so it is logical that it is paid. The length of the route is about 1.5km, underground for about 1h20min. The salary is +14 degrees. A train descends and lifts, like a mini subway. It is the second largest cave in the world. There was a couple with an infant in our group, so the excursion itself deep into the earth is as comfortable as possible.
There is a sign at the entrance ,,the resolution for photo / video shooting is 50p. The fine is 5000,, this is a complete divorce. Of course, no one is looking at whether you bought this permit for 50p or not. Take pictures, take pictures there for your health.

One of the main attractions of New Athos. It is mandatory to visit. The price of an entrance ticket at the time of writing the review is 500 rubles for an adult. Children under 8 years old are free of charge.
Briefly about the tour.
You enter the building, buy a ticket at the ticket office, then go to the boarding station in the mini-metro. On this mini-subway we get to the cave itself. You will be guided through 6 halls (out of 9), the guide tells you the historical facts about the discovery of each, plus physical parameters.
The tour lasts 1:30 - 1:40. The cave has a fairly cool constant temperature of +14 degrees Celsius, so those who are freezing better take care of warm things with them. There is a plaid rental service on the surface, for money.

In the photo, the New Athos Monastery, a very prayed-for, warm place, they were at the service, the acolytes sing very beautifully. But regarding the cave, I will say that it's a shame that they don't sell tickets in advance, it's not possible to order online, we had to climb the mountain 2 times to buy tickets. At a price of 700 rubles, we could make the toilet free. And the cave itself and the tour are interesting, the paths and railings have been updated, there is something to see.

It is impossible to visit there outside the tour. We arrived at the place at 12:00, gave the money for (of course) paid Parking. We went to the ticket office, in a terrible stuffiness, only to find out that tickets are on sale only for 19:30. The ticket for the next day, of course, cannot be bought. Tickets are purchased only on a first-come, first-served basis, where the advantage is given to tour groups, and then to individual tourists (as it is written). The caves may be cool, but the organization of ticket sales and customer service is at zero. Guys, the holiday season. Maybe you should somehow strain yourself, open more cash registers and think over an adequate sales system?
