I understand that the reviews that I read are not real. The kitchen is not tasty, the cafe stinks of sewage, what was chosen in the menu initially was missing and was on the stop, they reported only after we read the menu and made a choice, the waitress taking the order said that there was no such thing today and did not even apologize. The wife is a vegan, she left hungry. I really don't recommend the place, the quality of the food is below average, I didn't like anything at all

I really liked it! The kitchen is 5 points out of 5. The service is excellent!!! The first impression is that it is a little gloomy and smells damp, because there is a basement, but we are located on the veranda. I advise everyone to visit the Pushkin Times!!!

I do not recommend visiting.
Quiet horror.
Upon arrival in Vitebsk (the first visit to this truly glorious city), we trusted the reviews. It is unclear why this institution has such a high (4.7) rating here.
1. Meeting. It's closed at 12:00. We went for a walk, and at 12:05 they let us in. They were escorted to a table in 5 minutes. That is, we waited on the doorstep for five minutes, and were ready to leave. I am sincerely sorry that they did not leave. They were escorted to a table.
2. The waiter. She made a great impression in the first dialogue.
3. The situation. But the interior did not make a positive impression. Some kind of gypsy thing, a very strong overkill with this. It's uncomfortable. And subjectively, it does not affect the assessment, the stake is not deserved by this. Loud and inappropriate music is already a minus.
4. The order. 2 Japanese salads, 2 beef stroganoff, 2 soft drinks (a la lemonade), 2 cappuccino.
5. The waiting time is two. We waited for lemonade for 10 minutes, salad for 15 minutes. Lemonade was the only positive thing about this visit from the food.
6. The great Japanese salad. It is worth noting that everything is fresh. But, over-salted fish is a real disaster. The sauce for this salad is completely uninteresting, similar to diluted mayonnaise. It is not clear why there is such money here. The portion is small. Tomato, cucumber, a couple of pieces of salted red fish, sesame seeds, diluted mayonnaise. A boring, very boring salad, not worth the money.
7. Interesting guests. During the meal, a granny came into the hall, as we understood, in an attempt to sell greens. Instead of taking her out of the hall and discussing everything, the chef (apparently) went straight into the hall and started a conversation with her. It's not the most pleasant situation, you must agree. They talked quite loudly.
8. Waiting for the hot one. Finishing the salad, the waiter came up to us, served the dishes, and also notified us that the hot was ready. After finishing the salad, we waited for 7-8 minutes for a hot one. A very strange concept of readiness.
9. Beef Stroganoff. Frankly, the side dish tastes terrible (mashed potatoes). The pitch is visually questionable, it was not completely surprised. The meat is good, the mushrooms are delicious. But, the side dish ruined everything.
10. Cappuccino. It was the worst cappuccino of my life. Seriously. The milk is whipped incorrectly, there is no pattern, there is nothing. It's just coffee with improperly whipped milk.
11. The receipt. 73 BYN (~ $37) for this wonderful lunch + tips. I would understand if one thing failed. But, everything failed, except for the lemonade.
To summarize: prices are clearly higher than the average in the regional centers of the Republic of Belarus. For comparison, in Brest, for a little more than this amount, they managed to visit one institution twice and eat enough, and there was simply nothing to complain about. But here it's just terrible. Everything is terrible, from the meeting to the very farewell, and one thing snowballs the other.
Vitebsk is a beautiful and interesting city. It's a pity that his acquaintance began with such a bad establishment.
