Very bad experience, WiFi was not working. Made complaint but nothing done. Room cleaning was not proper , never clean the room carpet in 5 days. Reception always recommended u costly taxi , day tour package. There was hardly anything for Vegetarian in breakfast. Though reception always ready to take full day money on account of early check in. There was no room service for food. No menu card. Reception never reply the calls made from room. Very disappointing experience with this hotel. It is so expensive but really no service. I will never recommend to take room in this hotel.
My family and I really liked the Ramada, the service, the breakfasts are delicious, we already miss them, the staff is polite, everything is fine. The staff reacted positively to every request instantly, the rooms, although the renovation is not fresh, but everything is clean and tidy. The only thing was that the food from the restaurant was brought cold, and the Indians made noise at night, they did not let them sleep, one night. And so, at the first opportunity, back to you. I express my gratitude to the director of the hotel and the staff. Be the best, prosperity and kindness.
Comfortable, clean, friendly staff!
Everything is high-quality and professional.
Very good spa center: swimming pool, saunas
Cozy rooms, everything you need is there.
Varied and delicious breakfasts.
I will definitely recommend it to my friends
A nice hotel. The breakfasts are balanced. Lots of vegetables. The rooms are a little tired. The pool and spa are dilapidated. It's a pity to watch. But the service is on the level. Quietly. Comfortably. Available.
Nice hotel. It does not cause much enthusiasm, but there are no complaints either. Everything is strictly as it should be. A normal SPA. The employees are polite and professional. The rooms are a bit old, but clean. Good location.
I didn't arrange breakfast a little. There is a lot of Arab-Indian food, not my preference. There are a lot of spices. Otherwise, I really liked the huge one. The room is spacious, there are no batteries, the ventilation system is a little noisy at night,
A very nice hotel! What I liked: cleanliness, the room has everything you need, the staff, the breakfasts are super, the pool is cool, the steam room is great!
I didn't like it: the room was "tired": the wallpaper was torn in places, the barrel was from the window (it didn't close tightly), it wouldn't hurt to repair it in the bathroom either (the wallpaper was peeling off). For this, I took off 1 star.
In general, I liked it!
Every time I write comments, I don't know
Where to start , my travels have given me the experience of staying in hotels, what can I say about
This will go for 3/4 stars , what is the main thing in the hotel ?
Is it clear? Yes it's clear
A comfortable mattress? Yes, comfortable bed linen and pillows are also 5
The fact that he is a little tired is the second question
Minuses
There is a smell of old age when you enter the room
Everything would be fine in the spa , but I have a plastic ceiling in a hammam
But it didn't hurt to catch relaxation
The hotel is big. The main contingent is Hindus. The breakfast menu is for them. Of course, you can find something to eat for an ordinary person (scrambled eggs, pancake, yogurt or bread, vegetables. The hotel is not conveniently located. The rooms are clean. The iron is brought. There is a gas station and a sauna nearby.
A good hotel, a little tired, maybe it was just like that in our room, in the bathroom, I don't know, in general, everything is fine, the rooms are good, the general view of the hotel is good, the breakfasts are varied, cleaned every day, the view from the window to the snowy mountains, in general everything is cool 👍
The hotel is well located, but not the very center. Walk a little - about 15 minutes, and you get into the thick of things. Major and cosmetic repairs were done a long time ago. The Turkish "grid" hotel. The rooms are quite spacious. There is an unpleasant smell in the bathroom from time to time. Tourists from India love this hotel, but after them the room loses its quality. When checking in, immediately pay attention to the condition of the room and ask for better if something is not at its best. The room stock is large - they will find it. Tomorrow is good. Do not forget about the obligation to pay a tourist fee.
It's better and tastier than in Kazakhstan , I don't remember meeting it anywhere. Thanks to the Citizens of Kazakhstan for their hospitality. We love you!come to us in Russia , we will also try to welcome you with kindness
It is not clear where the Wyndham and Ramada brands come from in this hotel: after all, there is a complete discrepancy between the brand and the corporate standard, and in principle 4 stars here is rather the desire of the manager, and not what the guest will receive. And it's not about tired rooms, it's not about three-course breakfasts, but about the people and services of the hotel. Yes, there are more or less spacious rooms, a less attractive view of the common areas, but where are the 4-star services? If the cleaning starts working at 10 and rides the guest elevators with his buckets, this is already an indicator that the manager has let everything take its course here and relaxed the team that is resting in the hotel, and not working! Hence the result, when even in the reception area there is a torn chair))
The hotel is terrible. They were placed in a room where the drain did not work, not in the sink, not in the shower. The robe was torn. I had to call Georgy's employee at the reception twice. An arrogant and rude type. Not very executive. Finally, I handed over my clothes to Laundrette for washing. They ruined the T-shirt. They just burned it with an iron. The appeal refused to make up for the damage. I will contact the Turkish head office with a complaint. They are rude to the claim and do not answer the phone. The level of service is low. I recommend the Ramada group to pay attention to the terrible work of the hotel in Almaty. Employees like Georgy should be fired with a wolf ticket!
Terrible experience of staying at this hotel:
- the locks or the key card are malfunctioning, the hotel has not been able to explain why I had to regularly run to the reception and find out what is wrong with my door once again, and the complaints are massive
- the air conditioning is not working in the restaurant and it's during the buffet, it's a complete horror
- at 9:50 they started drilling in the room above me, it's a nightmare, as if it's not clear that people come here from different time zones
- doors without any sound insulation, at night they make noise in the corridor - it is impossible to sleep
Overall impression: an absolute nightmare, I won't want to come back here anymore.
Great hotel. Delicious, good breakfast, nice room. Thanks!!
But, there is a claim to the workers of the spa center. It is impossible to rest, because they fall in, open the doors to the saunas and say "let it be, we have a procedure now"
When you live in a suite, as if you are a little bit of a jerk about such impudence.
And when will the hotel guests go to the sauna so as not to be kicked out???? Let's somehow make a separate time for the procedures and provide information about it in the public domain so that you can plan your time.
This is not the Hilton. 😂. The hotel has already seen all the tourists in the world and it seems not once during its existence. It wouldn't hurt to update it. In general, a normal guest, monotonous but delicious breakfasts, a TV with the Russian TNT channel, a shower with hot water. The robes are not very dirty. Polite staff. Huge rooms for this price.
Slightly inferior to the Tashkent sister, but the overall level is OK in this price category.
Breakfast, tea and coffee maker in the room.
Shower room with normal pressure.
The rooms are tired, but clean.
The hotel is very popular with Hindus.
The breakfast is not bad, but the disgusting cappuccino from the coffee machine at breakfast. Breakfast ends at 10-30, the waiters start walking and kicking out, I met this for the first time :)
A great hotel, with a good location. The rooms have everything you need.
A good mattress. Excellent, varied cuisine (breakfast and dinners) I recommend.
Very pleasant atmosphere, excellent breakfasts, lunches..the room has everything and even a razor...we came to the conference, we liked everything very much.
And the people in the bar are friendly, very responsive staff..there were no problems from the word at all..
A nice pleasant hotel where you can stay to have a great time. Breakfast and saunas with a swimming pool are included, which impressed me. Special thanks to the person: George, who often helped and prompted me.
A good-quality hotel of the Turkish chain in Almaty. It does not pull at a premium, but in general it is normal. It is located close to the historical center of old Alma-Ata. Large parking lot. There is a small swimming pool. Breakfast for 3+
It's great to have everything for a good mood and rest, I recommend it to everyone who will be in Almaty. The rooms, the food, the service, the staff, the breakfasts are all super.
The hotel has seen the best of times, well, it's old and needs to be updated. Both in the rooms and in the common spaces. The staff is working perfectly, extremely "infrastructurally" tired. The rooms are spacious, which is good.
If you don't find fault with the little things, then everything is very good. I would also like to mention the polite staff. Plus a swimming pool and sauna.
The hotel seems to be 4 stars, but in fact it pulls 3+. There is smoking in the neighboring rooms, the stench was in mine. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The bar is quite tasty.
There is a swimming pool.
A tired hotel - shabby doors, a rusty shower curtain holder, "gray" towels and a price tag of $ 140 per night. The air conditioner in the room was humming very strongly, I had to turn it off and sleep in the stuffiness. And so - normal service, excellent breakfast.
Everything is fine in the hotel. And the rooms, and the breakfast, and the location. But there are problems with sound insulation. There was noise in the room nearby. I called the reception to reassure the neighbors. They promised to calm me down, but nothing has changed. He lived in August 2022.
I stayed at the hotel during a business trip. I liked: room facilities, good cleaning, breakfast (buffet, delicious coffee, omelette, pancakes, waffles are made to order).
The hotel also pleased with the spa area and staff who are ready to help print out documents, submit a notification of arrival and answer any questions. One of the disadvantages is poor sound insulation, but I do not exclude that I was just unlucky with my neighbors.
Overall, it's not bad. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast starts at 6.30 am, a good spa and gym. The rooms are spacious, bright BUT in need of renovation (they scream!)- wallpaper is falling off in places, doors with dents, carpet with stains, it's time to update the sealant in the bathroom. Although the plumbing looks fresh and the company doesn't seem to be bad, but setting the shower temperature is a whole quest, and when you set it up, sharp fluctuations begin.
The service (namely people) is excellent. Responsive and courteous.
Restaurant - in the morning the food is terrible, butter with mold, coffee from the machine, cappuccino - sweet for some reason, it was terrible.
In the morning I ordered breakfast in the room for money. The condition is to write it down in the questionnaire and hang it on the manual in advance. I did everything on time, but..... breakfast was not brought, they did not even take the questionnaire from the door handle. I had to go and ask. But in the end, they brought everything the same as in the restaurant for free (except for freshly squeezed juice), but for not a little money.
The room is very worn out, the phone in the bathroom fell apart in his hands, the wallpaper is worn and a lot of unpleasant things. At the same time, a suite room, but a view of the courtyard. AND YET! the price is space.
Probably fine for my money, but I wouldn't want to come back here a second time. The room stock is of course very outdated, at night you will deliver your suitcases to the room yourself, I tried a cheeseburger at the bar - this is probably the worst cheeseburger in history)) The room key works only once - in order to get to the room a second time, you will have to go down to the reception desk. breakfast is more or less, but if you order brewed tea for an additional fee, then you will receive the same tea bagged only in a teapot
The rooms are clean. But the service leaves much to be desired. The reception staff is not very polite. Although they are young. The price for accommodation, in my opinion, is too high. The food is fine, but not super.
My wife gave me a trip to this wonderful city and chose a kind of good Ramada chain, I will not describe competitors and other hotels around the world and in the Republic of Kazakhstan, but it was in the Ramada that there were both in Yekaterinburg and in Burabai, so I will compare with them.
So in my opinion, this is just the BOTTOM! Firstly, in any hotel above 3 stars, birthday people are congratulated, from an ordinary postcard on behalf of the hotel to fruits with champagne, this is at their discretion in each hotel, BUT if your guests are important to you, you do it without reminders (and for this, too, you enter the passport data of your customers into the database). Of course, this was not done, although it turned out that the wife at the reception asked.
The hotel has a SPA, but it's terrible! Firstly, when we arrived in the pool, the temperature was 26 degrees, and this is still a SPA, not a sports pool, secondly, it turns out that children are training in the pool, and a young girl trains them, her qualifications are on the conscience of the hotel, but when in such a small bowl, people from the street paying for their children's training are in priority, and not the guests of the hotel, the sediment remains, while the parents of these children in street clothes and hats are conveniently located on the sunbed... well, I understand you don't care about the long hair of your miracle coach who is without a cap in the pool, but there is such a thing as "unsanitary conditions" that you really love, apparently.
There is also a Finnish sauna with loose boards in this SPA (and this is the best thing in this spa) and a hammam in which the temperature sensor is dangling on wires and, apparently, because of this, steam is boiling non-stop.
As for the room, it was an improved standard (see photo), apparently the wallpaper was improved by pasting them in shreds, the carpet was stained, the hood with pieces of dust and dirt hanging down, and instead of a hanger there were holes in the wall. In the bathroom, the water drains so that while you take a shower in the morning, it is half filled with an open drain!
The filling breakfasts are average, there is always no one in the egg cooking zone, and they appear only when the crowd starts walking and waiting, in the morning my wife was told that she went down for breakfast (please note that not for dinner) in jeans, a T-shirt and hotel slippers! They said the dress code!
The hotel is a perfect example of how you can ruin the face of an international network of a good level!
I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND visiting this hotel, this particular hotel is not worth the money and is not worthy of its stars! A vivid example of a stupid and irresponsible local management!
p.s. for reasons unknown to me, almost all my photos are not available for viewing, possibly due to a complaint from the hotel, for this another minus point.
We lived in a room of 50 m2, cozy, clean, has everything you need, the bathroom is modern and clean. Rumservice is at a good level, food delivery from the restaurant is fast and everything is very tasty. Breakfast is a buffet and there is food and drinks for every taste, the choice is excellent. The sound insulation of the room is excellent.
Excellent living complex, from the receptionist to the service staff, the rooms are excellent, a good spacious conference hall.
The dining room for meals is excellent .
