A very remarkable sanatorium. One of the few built in Soviet times (90 years) and preserved in Abkhazia. Its peculiarity is that it stands alone and there is nothing like it! On the one hand, the private sector on the other is a wasteland. The beach is sand and small pebbles. The biggest impression of the park. There are a lot of plants there, everything is well-groomed and signed. The above-average service depends a lot on the individual. The food is average for an amateur. You can always find something to do, there are many sports and playgrounds, locations for photos and recreation. The price is above average, but if possible, I advise you to visit.

I remember my vacation in a boxwood grove in Abkhazia for its beautiful virgin nature and picturesque landscapes. The territory of the hotel is surrounded by majestic mountains, dense forests and is located on the seashore. Here you can enjoy the fresh air, birdsong and tranquility, which is difficult to find in the hustle and bustle of the city.
I was especially impressed by the walks in the park, where I met many rare species of plants. I was amazed by the beauty of the boxwood trees that create a unique atmosphere of this place. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay: cozy rooms, a restaurant with homemade cuisine, a swimming pool and sports fields. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to help. Relaxing in a Boxwood grove has become a real adventure for me, which I will definitely repeat in the future.

Hello everyone We were treated at the sanatorium from 02.01.2024 to 08.01.2024. Super! How beautiful it is there! On one side is the sea, on the other the mountains! The park is unique! If in winter everything is in greenery and flowers, then how is it in summer!

The Swedish table is great! Everything is very tasty and varied.
Meat dishes from both beef and pork, grilled chicken, with vegetables.. Very diverse!The fish was fried and grilled every day. Oranges, famous tangerines, sweet kiwis, apples! There are a lot of vegetables, salads, steamed dishes, just boiled. In addition, the food is excellent!
The saltwater pool is super! The cinema! We went to watch movies. Every day of the event. It's close to the sea! The sea is beautiful. Very clean!There are restaurants and a bar inside on site. The rooms are spacious. We are thrilled!
A modern medical center! All enclosures are connected. In the off-season, you can go everywhere without leaving the sanatorium. It's a great option with children! Children's room and animators are with children all day. A traditional evening disco for both children and adults. I recommend it to everyone! It's beautiful!

We were in early February, it was so pleasantly dry, warm, green, everything pleases the eye. The park is being fully maintained. The food is just great!!! The rooms are cozy and clean! We lived on the 9th floor overlooking the sea, admired sunrises and sunsets. We had wellness packages, which included going to the pool, all kinds of dancing and gymnastics, Nordic walking, cocktails. We liked it, no need to run through the procedures, just relax, walked a lot along the sea, admired the snow-capped mountains, tangerine trees, how beautiful it is! We had an anniversary and chose a restaurant on the 10th floor, we didn't like it, uncomfortable sofas, and the waitress happened to be here, looked so unhappy and did her job very poorly, forgot the appliances, plates to serve, and everyone else was fine, they didn't see the cons, it's great at any time of the year!’

The room got a standard, mountain view, clean enough, cleaning every day, towels are provided. We forgot slippers, disposable ones at the reception 50 rubles, take rubber ones to the pool with you. The large territory is well maintained, there are benches for relaxation. The sea is 5 minutes away at a leisurely pace.by the way, there is wi-fi on the beach.There is a free shuttle service to the airport and train station, if not included in your tour, you need to notify the administrator 5 days before arrival.About the treatment : we included an oxygen cocktail and phyto tea in the price.There are a lot of procedures for every taste:sauna, steam room,hammam, wraps,massage,cosmetology, doctors' appointments in different directions.Check-in at 15.00, check-out at 12.00. luggage can be left in the baggage room for a while, there is also a scale if you are on a plane.About food:the buffet. An excellent sanatorium. The food is good, 2 saltwater pools, aqua aerobics, fitness, physical therapy. Oxygen cocktails and herbal tea are provided by appointment. Sauna and hammam are paid.Its own cinema, movies for children and adults every day, animation is not active. The territory is large and green, convenient for walking, but there is nowhere to go outside, just take a minibus or taxi.We had a rest at the end of May at reasonable prices . It turns out to be very expensive in the summer, it's not worth it.

Two impressions. On the one hand, it's good. The room is nice, the territory is gorgeous, there is an indoor pool - go at least five times a day, there are no restrictions. Movies in the evenings, and cartoons in the afternoon, animation for those who wish.
The food is good, there is a choice, the dining room is clean, this is strictly monitored. But there are not enough places in the restaurant, at the beginning of May there were a lot of people and they often asked to sit at our table. Plus, the buffet room is bustling and crowded. Because of this, eating turns not into pleasure, but into stress. You can't take out food from the buffet, they repeat it every day. But many people with children arrived, breakfast until 9:30, and lunch from 13:00. Is it really impossible for a child to take a fruit or a bun for a snack? No, eat everything in three meals. In the evening, kefir, cocoa or jelly are offered, this should be washed down with food on top🤷🏻♀️
There is also treatment, a good choice of procedures, you can come without a book, and consult a doctor for free and choose the procedures according to his appointment. So the "free" doctor is very "good-natured", very tired of people. She prescribed inhalations and baths. Baths were often canceled due to lack of water. As a result, it did not pass all the required ones, but a refund or replacement is carried out.
In general, there were moments spoiling the rest.

One of the best health resorts in Abkhazia! A beautiful park, a great beach with plenty of sun loungers and hammocks. There are three cafes on site, not counting the dining room. An excellent cinema hall with daily film screenings, a magnificent medical center that has everything! Plus two pools: outdoor and indoor. Gorgeous views of the sea and mountains from the rooms. Own sightseeing buses and your own transfer from Adler. I recommend it!

I highly recommend a vacation in this sanatorium. We rested from August 20th to August 28th. The room for three was spacious, renovated, excellent interior, magnificent sea view, large loggia, where it is pleasant to relax in the evening. They cleaned every day. Very clean. The staff is amazing, they solved all the issues. The food was excellent, a huge selection of dishes, everything is very tasty.Special thanks to the manager of Madina's travel agency, who competently approaches every vacationer and advises where it is interesting and informative to spend time. The excursions are organized at the highest level, knowledgeable guides, an excellent bus. Next year, only to the Boxwood grove for a vacation. Holidays with children are organized perfectly. There is a good children's room, animators entertain both children and adults all day long. There is a huge park with exotic plants on the territory. The park is very well maintained. I liked the mini zoo. It was very interesting to watch the raccoons. In the evenings, you can comfortably sit in one of the four restaurants, live music sounds in two, animators entertain in the other, and just admire the sea in the fourth.

But a lot of people get an intestinal infection, it happens every year. A big plus is that doctors react quickly, injections, ivs are free. It rarely happens that the pharmacy of the hotel does not have just the pills for infection that are needed and prescribed by the doctor. You'll have to go or go to the pharmacy, it's 300 meters away. There is a grocery store very close to the hotel, for example, Sukhum beer 280p in the hotel, and 80p in the store. A good arboretum. We had a rest in the first half of September 2024. Severe poisoning on the 3rd day of their stay in Abkhazia; at the same time, they ate only in the dining room of the Boxwood Grove boarding house. Some dishes are made from leftovers from the previous day (this is especially noticeable in salads). In general, it is tasteless and very monotonous. Many dishes are cold, there is one microwave for the whole room. The compote and juice are so diluted with water that their color does not even match the usual one by 50%. I am sincerely surprised by the presence of so many positive reviews.
