We were vacationing with a family of 4 people in June 2024. The hotel is relatively small, linen and towels are changed quite often. The rooms and the hotel are clean. The staff is friendly and pleasant. Administrator Liana is always available for communication, will explain and show everything, solve all questions, help with excursions. The balcony, which has a small table and chairs, offers a beautiful view of the sea and directly onto the terrace with open tables, where it is pleasant to drink a cup of tea or just sit in the shade of eucalyptus trees. The air is special - "mountain eucalyptus". Descent to the sea by 135 steps, and then along the mountain serpentine. We timed it- to walk for 10 minutes along the picturesque streets. If someone is in their car, then there is a detour to the sea. If you walk, I think that the road from the sea will be difficult for small children and the elderly. Everyone else needs moderate fitness. The hotel has a clean swimming pool with warm water and sun loungers. There is a neat little garden around the pool. Smoking areas are equipped. There is a cafe with homemade food on the ground floor. About 5-6 dishes to choose from. Breakfast/lunch/dinner. When descending to the sea, there are two more cafes + cafes in the neighboring hotel and shops at the foot of the mountain. Payment in addition to accommodation. The rooms have Wi-Fi, the signal strength depends on the brand of smartphone (I caught it badly, my husband and children - relatively well. I express my sincere gratitude for the rest to Liana, her family, all the Svetlana serving us (cleaners, barmaid), cook Maxim.

A great hotel, huge eucalyptus trees in the courtyard, a heated swimming pool, very beautifully decorated recreation areas. The hotel is on the mountain. We went down on foot, and then went up by taxi, it was easier for us and it didn't bother us. The rooms are clean and cozy. When the door to the balcony is open, you can hear the sound of the sea and the singing of birds, and also the wonderful fragrant air from the eucalyptus trees.
Of the disadvantages, there is no bottled drinking water: no cooler, no bottles on sale. The kettle is downstairs in the dining room, there are only glasses in the room.
We liked the hotel, we would definitely come back again.

We had a rest with my mother in the off-season here, in November. Honestly, despite the lack of an opportunity to swim at sea, I remember the trip primarily because of the hotel. The rooms are very cozy, clean, have everything you need and the interior design is pleasing, especially I remember the balcony where you can drink tea in the morning under the delicate aroma of eucalyptus and admire the sea view. The staff deserves special respect, we felt very comfortable, we could always ask a question or just talk. I really want to come here again, sometimes I remember how I was greeted by cute dogs and cry. Thank you 🙏🏻🥲
Even in autumn there was something to do. We went to turpentine baths, gorged on mantysh in the Uzbek cafe downstairs, just enjoyed the sea air, the incredible nature of the mountains and fresh fruits.

I didn't want to write a review, but after rereading all the reviews before leaving for Abkhazia, I couldn't put together a clear picture about this hotel. We had a rest in August 2024, unfortunately, the impression is not very good.
Positive:
- friendly hosts;
- eucalyptus trees;
- swimming pool;
- balcony with sea view.
Cons:
- Cockroaches are just raging in the bathroom at night, you turn on the light and they run away in different directions, (I would close my eyes to everything if it weren't for cockroaches);
- dirty curtains;
- the mattress on the bed is very creaky, the sofa is Soviet, already with holes
- they don't clean well;
- there is no hair dryer;
- soap and shampoos are not reported after cleaning. Cleaning every other day.
- the road to the sea and especially back is very difficult, although I am very athletic, but it was hard for me

I will write the only plus is the pool, the rest is of course tin, it starts with the fact that it is high in the mountains, convenient for those who are by car, you are not on foot, Wi-Fi almost does not catch, if you come to relax and have fun, then it is very difficult to get after 24-00, you need to ask for leave, you feel like a minor at your grandmother's the village((((( And sorry for the current service, they ask for a lot of money ((((although on the first coast there is cheaper and with food.!!!!! We rested for three days in hotels on the May. On the plus side: The hotel has a nice warm pool! Mountain or sea views! The balcony!
And now the cons! The beds were flimsy, the floor was dirty, the shower curtain was mildewed, it would probably be nice to change them every season! The bed linen was shot on one bed with stains, unpleasant.... And the most important minus: if you like to walk or hang out late and do not want to be tied to the hotel, then you are not here! because It works until 12 at night and then it closes, although it is written that you can coordinate with the administrator, then you will not be greeted very well.... And they will also ask when you will come.... what do you mean?! I'm going to a disco, I'm walking, but it doesn't matter if I'm on vacation, why should I be tied to time?! Make the keys for the guests, so that there is no one to wait for!

We rested in a Fairy Tale in early January. The first thing I want to say is that the hotel itself is very clean, spacious, clean, bright rooms with sea views. The hotel is warm in winter. Panoramic windows. Clean bed linen and towels. We were in room 14, I'll tell you the bed there is huge, comfortable. There is everything you need in the room, a dressing table, a refrigerator, a TV, a shower, a toilet, a large wardrobe, many bedside tables. The hotel itself has a swimming pool, there is a laundress, ironing service, there is a cafe, and in the warmer months there is also a dining room. The managing Liana will solve any of your problems and questions. The kindest-hearted man. We liked the hotel and we will come again.

We were in the "Fairy Tale" in mid-September 2023. The hotel is located on the road to Sukhum, just behind the last tunnel of the Gagra bypass road.
Wonderful, clean air and friendly atmosphere from the staff. Beautiful view of the sea through the tall eucalyptus trees saving from the hot sun. The rooms are clean, cleaning is daily.
The road from the beach will allow you to burn some of the calories gained in cafes located on the shore and correct muscle tone. Large car parking. If possible, we will come again!

We stayed at this hotel together with my daughter from June 16 to 23, 2024. I liked the room very much, it was cleaned 2 times in a week, towels were changed three times. The view from the window was gorgeous. During our vacation, the cafe in the hotel did not work, but it was possible to use the kitchen. We ate at a nearby hotel, and we liked the food there. The hotel has a swimming pool with warm water. The Internet, there is also a generator in the hotel, so you will not face any problems with turning off the light. The road to the sea takes 10 minutes, first up the stairs, and then along the mountain streets. The uphill climb is more difficult, but for us it was a plus - good physical activity. I liked the hotel, we will come again.

A quiet, peaceful place, its own swimming pool, which is a huge plus. There is a private kitchen. The rooms are large, there is everything you need, there is a large balcony, we would have a view of the pool and the mountains, we spent 5 minutes there every evening before the bypass road, and since we went everywhere and often, it was convenient for us. I took off a star for the location on the mountain, it is very difficult to climb on foot, it is hot, through the private sector.

Mini-hotel with spacious rooms, beautiful sea views, huge eucalyptus trees grow in the courtyard. There is a heated swimming pool. The food is monotonous, we did not like it. The hotel is located on a mountain, you need to climb a fairly steep staircase, it's hard! I will not go to Abkhazia anymore! Everyone has had rotavirus!!!Nature is beautiful, but everything else is very sad.

To be honest, I have a double impression about the relationship! The first impression is good: polite and attentive staff, thanks a lot for that! There is a dining room, the food in which is very tasty. And there is an unpleasant moment: well, first of all, there is no information anywhere that 700 meters to the sea and 139 steps out of them, sport is life, but not that much. And the second sad moment is the toilet brush, the sink is all in a grid, the faucet is leaking, the shower curtain rod fell on the child's head when she went to the toilet. There are cobwebs in some places. The lock jammed in our room and the refrigerator was faulty, they asked to look, they promised to figure it out, but no one looked. There is Wi-Fi in the hotel, but it catches intermittently on the third floor. There is no hair dryer in the room.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service, rooms, clean bed linen and towels, the availability of gels and shampoos! The view from the balcony is excellent. Polite staff. We had a very good rest.
We have not seen this in mini-hotels in Abkhazia in previous vacations.
The only wish is a more varied menu in the dining room. And the breakfast time is not very convenient, taking into account the time difference, we had to wait hungry and angry))

It's all good. Cleanly . Towels are changed regularly, bed linen is as it should be, delicious food is prepared.
Minus - 1 ) There are no bedspreads, with children, the white bed linen quickly becomes dirty. 2) There is no playground. By the way, this is not only a problem of the hotel, but of Abkhazia in general, you will not find a playground in Gagra. There is one at the Grand Abkhazia hotel, but there is dirt and not everything is in good condition. As it is, everything is fine. The ascent and descent did not seem critical for us, we took our time walking, so we did not even notice it.

One of the nicest hotels I've been to. Liliana is a very kind and sweet girl who works at the reception. We were there in early December with the guys from school, Liliana and her son told us about local life, which was very interesting. A wonderful hotel, a chic large room. The view from the room was on the sea. In the evening we watched very beautiful sunsets. There is a swimming pool, its own dining room. A picturesque road to the sea. We were in the first half of June, climbing the hill a couple of times was difficult because of the heat (we took a taxi), and it's quite normal with a 7-year-old child.
You can eat at the hotel, there are breakfasts, lunches and dinners. It is necessary to order in advance. If they knew exactly what would be for lunch or dinner, they would take it more often, because the child does not eat everything. The menu is on the trail.A day wouldn't hurt.
The silence regime was observed with us, although the windows overlooked the tables, once only the people went on a little spree.
There is a children's room. There are toys,, a couple of coloring books, pencils. The Swedish wall and the mat.
There is a tennis table by the pool, rackets and a ball can be taken at the reception.
In general, we had a great rest, I recommend it.

The room was clean, but it smelled terribly of sewage. The staff is friendly and responds to any requests immediately. Location: 10 minutes to the sea, but the room is located high, so you don't want to go down once again. The shops are all only at the bottom, the prices in the shops are overpriced. The price is lower in the neighboring hotel. Swimming pool: children like it.
"Fairy tale *", why they gave such a name, they did not understand. I wouldn't go there again and I don't recommend it.

We were in this hotel for a week , I don 't know where the positive reviews came from ... the room is for my modest money , but the stench from the toilet is just terrible .It stinks like a cesspool and if you don't want to sleep in the stink, you have a bonus to open the window and wake up at four. Five in the morning from the barking of dogs .The mentality is interesting. It was March 28th. Until April 4th. It's not the season. We chose them based on reviews. They were not mistaken. A very cozy little hotel. For those who are friends with sports!the descent along the serpentine is not noticeable. The way back- we swing our legs. The rooms are spacious, with a balcony. The beds are comfortable and the mattresses are good.There is a TV and a refrigerator in the room.Cleaning every 2 days, the pool is warm and clean. The kitchen really hasn't worked yet, but Liana (thank her so much!) I handled this situation very professionally, the microwave and kettle are freely available in the dining room. The atmosphere is very warm and sincere. We helped with the car to the border. Special thanks to Marina! We enjoyed our vacation for all 8 days.

We stayed there in October. The place is good, we were offered a large superior room for 3700. On the 2nd floor with a sea view. The room has everything: a huge bed (five people can easily fit inside and out). There is a single bed next to it. There is a large wardrobe in the hallway. From the balcony there is a sea view (high).
The hotel administration is polite and non-intrusive, all issues are resolved quickly.
From the food, only a snack in the hotel cafe.
There is a heated swimming pool in the courtyard, which is being cared for.
Now it's a fly in the ointment for people who are not athletic. The hotel is not the first coastal and is located so to speak in the mountains. Going down to the sea is not a problem, but climbing back up the hill, plus steps. It was hard for me. Therefore, two days later we moved to another place.
In general, I recommend it, especially for those who drive.

Cons; there are 122 steps to the sea and a Z -shaped rather long path ....; lack of food (the nearest store is on the coast). You can take a taxi 250-300 rubles .
But it's cheaper than taking a hotel by the sea, even if you take a taxi in the evening.

A very cozy and pleasant hotel. We had a balcony overlooking the sea, super! A decent pool, not for show. Parking for cars. It's a great territory of its own! The staff is very pleasant. We are resting August 2022. Usually we are demanding tourists, but if you go to Abkhazia, you need to understand in advance that this is not a luxury vacation and you need to see the advantages in the little things. I really like the hotel 👌the staff has special respect for the attitude towards the guests🤝the food is homemade, you will not go hungry if you understand that lobsters will not be served😂

As for the descent to the sea, well, yes, stairs and a walking serpentine, but again, here you can find the advantages 👌extra kg will not arrive😂some kind of training, on the second day you get used to walking.
We were going to take a break from the hustle and bustle and reboot, so the half-empty beaches, the clear azure sea and the lack of movement satisfied us quite well.

We rested in early September 2021, had a good rest, liked everything, lived on the 3rd floor in a two-room room (room 3 was also a small office). Beautiful view from the room and from the dining room, you can eat outside, overlooking the sea, in the evening at sunset. It's hard to climb from an unusual place) 15 minutes uphill and up the stairs. The staff is good, cleaning every day, the food is very tasty and satisfying. But the hotel already needs a little repair, the feeling that it is a little forgotten, something is moving away, the window was leaking from the rain, the beds are creaking, all the toys in the children's room are broken and somehow uncomfortable. Overall, the impression is good, for a foursome)))

A great hotel. The owner personally came for the New Year. A pleasant Sochi businessman. The convenient location is relative to both the mountains and the sea. The sea views are gorgeous.
