Inside, of course, there is a new model, but very high quality. In some halls, there is even a typical smell of novelty. Therefore, the reproduction of history is largely conditional. Although there are rarities of the late Middle Ages in the windows.
In general, an interesting example from the point of view of palace and fortress architecture. Only modern architecture fails. There is only one entrance and exit from the castle - a single-leaf door. This causes traffic jams. Well, the queues at the entrance are from this.
The place is beautiful, but there is no accessibility for wheelchair users. I got to the gate and then the staff turns you around 180, apparently it's not how to open the gate. But the gates are beautiful.
I liked it, we didn't take the tour, we didn't have time. The prices are reasonable, there are discounts. When visiting on your own, there are interactive screens, you can read a lot.
Authenticity, of course, is not much. Yes, in many ways a new building. But it is worth noting that, unlike, for example, Nesvizh, there are much fewer blunders that give out the timing in an absurd way. For example, there are no plastic doors, plastic switches and sockets in prominent places, fire hydrants in the middle of medieval walls, etc. They didn't cram in various fancy elements. With more, everything is done carefully and does not cause rejection. It is definitely recommended to visit! And there is also a gorgeous viewing platform in the castle.
We visited the castle in May 2023, the well-groomed territory, the guide told in detail about the owners of the castle, the stunning location and of course the fascinating views!
I recommend you to visit!
A great place, I highly recommend visiting. You can walk through the halls in detail or with a guide. There is also an audio accompaniment , in each hall you will be presented with information about the exhibits in headphones. The ticket price is not very high, but there are a lot of emotions
It's a very interesting place. Nothing is surprising that so many tourists go to see this place the castle has been restored very well it is very interesting to visit it in addition to boring exhibition halls there are a lot of modern technologies sensor cranes to explore the history videos with the history of the castle both adults and children will be very, very interesting and most of course the beautiful views of the castle open to the city this too It is worth paying special attention to
It causes controversial feelings. As for me, the appearance is far from the original. If we compare it with the old version, then the scale that was in the old castle is missing. But as for the technical part, everything is on top. The employees, or rather the Cerberus standing in each hall, need to be much more friendly to visitors. Otherwise, you feel like you went to their house and walked on your favorite carpet in dirty shoes.
A beautiful place. It is very good that the country invests money in preserving history.
I was in 2021, work was still underway. I arrived in 2023 and so much has already been done and is open for viewing. Well done!
It was interesting to see and listen to the guide.
A nice beautiful place for excursions. I would like to have another restaurant nearby - to have a snack in a beautiful place. I've been with the child a couple of times, always happy.
I recommend you to visit! A cool interactive museum 👍🏽 take the time to watch and most importantly listen ☝🏽 a projector is turned on on the walls of the castle and you can immerse yourself in the history of that time.
An excellent museum in the castle itself, inexpensive and attractive...The interior is amazing because everything is done and decorated culturally and interestingly. The ticket seems to cost up to 6 rubles.
We were in the summer. It's very stuffy inside, and the museum is a little empty in terms of the number of exhibits. Although there is something to look at in general. Interactive storefronts are made in an interesting way.
The process of restauration is underway.Beautiful location location.Everything inside is new, but it allows you to imagine how it all was in its original form.
A great place to spend time usefully. You don't have to take a tour or a guide, because everywhere there are convenient monitors with a description of the place or object where you are.
One of the symbols of Grodno. Photos both outside and inside are definitely top. All those who are against restoration are bores, for whom everything is not so bad and everything is bad. It used to be just ruins, now it's a new model. But for a tourist, everything is fine.
The acquaintance with the city began with a visit to this castle. Unfortunately, we did not have time for the guided tours. There is an interactive room. Antiques and interior decoration give an idea of how people lived many years ago. It is worth visiting with a guide.
We were pleasantly surprised. There is a good exposition, on some exhibits the information is located immediately on the projection glasses of the showcase - it is convenient and modern.
Overall, it is a beautiful castle. But, as far as we understand, not all the restoration work has been completed in it yet. So we plan to come back again when everything is ready.
The main attraction of the city, which makes an exceptionally pleasant impression.
Some of the interior has been restored, some are simply decorated as museum halls with showcases.
We have been planning a trip for several years and have been trying to get into the castle for several days. And in the end we couldn't!!!
We were with a stroller and a small child. A boorish lady cashier flies out at the checkout. He shouts that it is impossible to use a stroller, "it is written after all" and blocks our way. It was like we were going to the cash register, and not to ram the entrance with a stroller. What is the point of this performance? To our question: "where should we leave the stroller?" she suggests putting it right on the street at the entrance. There are no cameras, the guards seem to be at work, but at this time they are standing and chatting merrily on the phone outside the territory. We asked if there were any storage rooms. "Not provided." Perfectly! Dear Museum administration! Please provide for it. Since we can't get through with the stroller, arrange a place where you can safely leave it.
For comparison: in the new castle, we were politely offered to leave the stroller in the wardrobe right at the entrance. Although it is not forbidden to use a stroller there. We were offered this for our own convenience. And the guards there are at the workplace and perform their duties.
The mood is ruined. They didn't get into the museum.
