There are no words to convey the atmosphere of this place.A very beautiful ancient temple.
It's better to see it once than to listen and read about it a hundred times.
You have to go there for the opening, before all the tourists fill up. This is how the energy of the temple feels better. And she's very powerful there. The fathers are kind, smiling. We are ready to help and suggest if necessary
A temple with its own life. One of the most ancient temples of Georgia.
It is very impressive that both before and after the service, priests, temple servants, communicate closely with their parishioners on church and everyday topics. Which creates a very warm atmosphere.
They were not allowed into the temple. The priest at the entrance said that there was a service going on and we couldn't go there... just look at the entrance…
A fantastic place for beauty and energy. Find a guide Tsitsino will not regret. She is a living legend of these places. An extravagant lady in black and a hat.
Georgia is all created for tourism, and for lovers of temples and churches , it 's just a paradise . In every place of any importance there is a temple with a history . Mtskheta itself is just a freshly built market for tourists , but the churches in the vicinity are worth a look.
It's a very beautiful place. A must-visit. There is a large parking lot for 2l. You can immerse yourself in the flavor, because the entire historical district has been restored
A very cool place that fascinates with its energy! Beautiful architecture, you can take photos/videos inside, but without a flash. There will be tombstones underfoot, it is interesting to read who is buried there.
They offer tours inside quite obsessively
An incredible place breathing history and goodness
Open late, in the evening the lighting makes the place even more grandiose

In the year that has passed since my last visit, everything has changed a lot. The area around the cathedral has turned into a huge market with extremely intrusive sellers. People in black robes walk in the temple itself and offer to submit notes for money, improvised guides eat right there (in the temple), simultaneously offering their services and, in case of refusal, they send curses in Georgian and Russian. That's the atmosphere (
Very beautiful. I would like to live there for a couple, three days. But unfortunately we were only passing through. We were in the morning, we managed even before the influx of tourists)
It is a very beautiful temple. At the entrance, we were offered a tour for 20 GEL, and we agreed. This made the visit even more interesting, I recommend it.
The Orthodox Church in the center of Tbilisi is much more interesting, so if you visited it, then you don't have to go here. The dating of the construction marked as ~1026 is doubtful, because the limestone and selicate materials do not live so long. Only the tombstones are made of granite and marble, but they are only 200 years old at most. I believe that everything has been rebuilt for tourists.
It is difficult to tell in one word the emotions that you receive when visiting. It's just a fairy tale and if you don't see it with your own eyes, then you haven't been there...
It is very beautiful, the ancient church..It's impressive. The only thing was an old woman sitting at the entrance and begging for money from everyone with the words: "help, help is not a pity." It's not a very pleasant sight. To put it mildly, a woman is not very pleasant
Greatness and antiquity!! The rich history of the Temple, visits to the services left an indelible impression, the old priest monk conducted the service so vividly that even ignorance of the Georgian language did not prevent him from being imbued with the grandeur and solemnity of the Liturgy. Of course, the number of tourists is distracting, but it doesn't really bother.
