It's a very interesting place. The cathedral is an ancient one, one of the oldest Christian cathedrals in the world - built in 1029! There is a large paid parking lot and a little further away is free. It is better to take an excursion, since the cathedral contains a huge number of Orthodox antiquities with an interesting history. It's hard to find them yourself. Large internal area. There is free Wi-Fi in the information center building. Definitely worth a visit!
It is a very beautiful and majestic temple, it makes no sense to describe it. You need to see and feel it yourself. I was in it in the morning, when there aren't a lot of people yet. There was a service in one limit. Unfortunately, the entrance was closed, but with one eye it was possible to see with what love the priest looked at those who came to the service. At the other end of the temple, a baby was brought for baptism. It was very interesting to watch everything. I advise you not to give up the tour.
This is a beautiful temple! Grace is in the air. Each stone speaks about the history and age of this place.. If you will be in Tbilisi and you are a believer, be sure to visit this temple.
