An authentic place, a real market with a mood.
Fruits, flowers, spices, dairy products, fish, cheeses, tea, coffee, socks tied by elderly women, rare goods.
I like the market in Gagra more, but in Sukhum it is also a good place to shop
The outlets are very chaotically located, there is no division into rows with products and things. We searched for fresh fish for a long time, it turned out there are 3 points, but all in different sides of the market.
A picturesque place. You can find very tasty local fish, fruits, spices, grind and brew coffee on the sand. There is one thing, but they will be careful trying to deceive, not everywhere, but there is such a thing.
A rather clueless market, no order. I didn't find any urns either. The toilet is just terrible, even though it's paid. The only plus is that it is inexpensive. It is said to be the cheapest market in Abkhazia. I warn you that you need to bargain, because the prices for the same spices, for example, may differ by 2 times.
It's colorful, noisy, bustling, as it should be at the bazaar. The famous cheburechnaya is on the second floor. The prices are good, but do not hesitate to try low-quality goods
A lot of things. You need to bargain and find out the prices and compare them. In some places, prices may differ very decently for the same product. In a word, the market)))
An important place to visit in any city and especially in Sukhumi. Take more time to do this and slowly go through all the rows. You can mark your favorite counters and shops in geolocation so that you can quickly and easily find them again.
This summer we managed to visit Abkhazia, and at the same time the central grocery market. The layout of the market is a bit confusing, it is unclear where it has passed and where it has not yet. Perhaps this is already familiar to the locals, but for beginners the layout is a little unclear. Prices on the market are high in the summer, I understand that there are some prices for locals, others for vacationers. Prices change a lot every day. The assortment is good , on the second floor they sell live flowers and meat, as well as spices, honey and all sorts of edibles . The sellers are mostly friendly. You can buy everything on the market. There is an assortment of local goods: lavrushka, lemons, peaches, plums, tomatoes, figs and much more....In general, the market is good, everyone's prices are different. I advise you to visit this huge market at least once. Have a nice shopping to everyone!
Pork, of course, Sukhumi pork!!! I don't eat all year to enjoy three days!! We took three kg of neck from our guy, this is paradise, a heavenly gastronomic orgasm! Sea Kebabs Sukhum Samara
A large selection of fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices, unlike Gudauta
She's the problem - Parking
It is very difficult to find a place. But there is a cute parking attendant who will help you park and drive away and find a place
The price of the question is 50 rubles.
It's a very interesting place. It's like being in the USSR. The real market of that time. You definitely need to visit. I recommend it to everyone! You won't regret it!
I visited the market with my family. Everyone really liked it: clean, great selection, nice people, you can bargain! I recommend everyone to visit and enjoy the local flavor!
I love this place. everything is here! during the season, prices certainly soar. but if you come to the end of the working day, then of course there may not be a huge choice, but the price drops by almost half. and grandmothers from their garden always sell cheaper, while fruits, vegetables are the freshest and natural
Everything is mixed up, fruits, vegetables, clothes after 10 meters, qigans are selling in places, the only positive thing is that you can find a lot of products here that you will not find in ordinary stores in Sukhum, but in general I did not really like it.
The market is colorful and abundant. Local and imported goods are plentiful. The prices are quite reasonable. Fresh vegetables and fruits for almost every taste. In August we take melons, watermelons, vegetables...and chacha
Dirty, noisy, unsanitary, not the fact that you will get better than in the store. Green lemons are passed off as limes, nuts are of very poor quality, OBVIOUSLY OVERWEIGHT. Gypsies. AS A RESULT, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU GOT THERE AND WHAT YOU WON.
An interesting place, you can find anything there, there are both indoor grocery stores and street stalls, prices are different, depend on the seller. I tried to bargain - it didn't work out (
A large selection of everything. Prices for fruits and vegetables are slightly lower than in other places. It is possible and necessary to bargain! It feels like I got into the 90s)).
A good market. Everything is there. We bought tangerines, churchkhela, spices and so on. Good attitude, delicious food, you definitely need to take a walk here!
Do you want to visit the 90s? Then here you go. It's very atmospheric. There are consumer goods and products, and cigarettes by the piece. But in the evening, after trading, there are great sacks. Two hours later, a garbage truck arrives and cleans everything.
there is a good market, there is everything and there is nothing...as in any market, there are prices for every taste...what I liked there is a nice little beer house with a bottling local, Sukhumi, old beer factory...delicious infection...Soviet....nostalgia
They sell amazing adjika right on the stairs to the building
It's a pity I lost my phone, they have delivery in Russia
The prices on the market are the best! If you buy, then there
Both my wife and I really liked it!!! The main thing is not to buy immediately upon entering the market, they often deceive you by saying that they eliminate the remnants and you allegedly won't find it cheaper inside! And it's cheaper inside, as you will find it😅

We really liked the market, the choice is huge, payment by transfer to a card is very convenient, we bought a lot of goodies, everything is fresh, the prices were pleased
Well, this is not a market, but rather a bazaar. Equipped places are empty, but trade from boxes, pallets, and purses is ubiquitous. They are trading poorly. Prices outside the market are the same. That is, to find something cheaper is rather to the great detriment of quality or deceive. They cheat all the time. Spices should be bought only from the tray from which they were given to taste. The bags are full of salt. On the second floor, where they sell meat and cheese, it is so gloomy and gray that you want to escape from there as soon as possible. There is no mutton, pork is only available from the Russians, who were driven into the corridor. The cheeses and dried meat are delicious. We bought it several times. On the second floor, they bought normal spices. Tangerines were bought from a car twice as cheap as on the market.
Prices and dirt are off the scale , but there is no choice
In general, I understand from the local that only grandmothers sell what can be taken from a tree somewhere for free
Grapes (not in any way), lavrushka, figs, lime, pears, apples, sometimes tomatoes and cucumbers
All other fruits peaches cherries watermelons melons, etc. are clearly imported, everywhere they write "local" on the cardboard with a finger with a poop
It's the same with meat and a shelf of cows , there's nothing to eat with their milk or cottage cheese, they don 't have sour cream, they eat themselves, and they sell us fake cheese from a mixture of Turkish and nasty pseudo milk in the supermarket...
Yes, they live on the Black sea, there are no fish..
A great market, I've visited it all before, the prices are good. If there is no Internet, they will give you Wi-Fi to pay online👍

A real southern market with its own historical flavor. In the morning, you can buy fresh sea fish if the weather is favorable for fishermen. There is everything you need to live and relax.
The central market is not big, the room itself is small and there are not many stalls and stalls around.
In the room itself, I did not like that there were spices, cheeses, sausages, milk, etc. and flowers.
Well, I don't understand at all why such a combination of goods, and household goods, and everything would be as it should be.
It's a good place. There is everything - vintage, souvenirs, fish, meat, cheese, fruits. I kept my pockets and bags under control just in case. I was warned that pickpockets could be at work.
There is a huge market where you can buy almost everything, the prices are reasonable, there are a lot of goods from Turkey. Those who smoke sticks, I recommend to stock up on them in advance, as their prices are high. There is paid Parking, parking nearby is difficult to find.
A normal market.
A variety of products.
Only sometimes the price is higher than in the store.
Across the street from the market, a grocery store sells some of the goods at cheaper prices.
There is one ATM working in the district - PAY ATTENTION!!!
It is near the bird market. Ask and they'll show you.
Take the cache.
Parking around the market for a fee - cash)
@elgreku
The deeper into the market, the angrier the sellers are. It made me laugh that they manage to fight with customers from scratch. Just like in the good old days.
There is a large selection of trays, the market is definitely worth a visit. Unforgettable emotions are provided
You need to look at everything, buy goods carefully, there are chain stores nearby, prices are almost the same everywhere, there is no point in going to court specifically.
