We stayed at this hotel in May 2023 with 2 children! The location is in a picturesque place, near the main attractions! The room is good, hair dryer, kettle, refrigerator, cleaned as needed, towels were also changed on request, every day, one minus is little lighting! By the way, I do not recommend buying draught wine in a cafe, it seems that alcohol is added.It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the sea. The territory is clean. You can rent a car 7000 days. On the central square there are shops, a savings bank, a "bus station " cafes, a park. You can go to many places by regular bus, it will be much cheaper this way. We had a rest with our family in this boarding house from July 25 to August 1, 2023. The vacation turned out to be sudden, choosing a hotel turned out to be quite a difficult task. My daughter was a little dissatisfied, but she got used to a different level of comfort. Wi-Fi is free. There is nothing to say about the pool, we prefer the sea. The beach is equipped, cleanliness is maintained, for convenience, I still recommend buying aquashouses. There is a cafe. The staff at the beach is awesome. It's a 10-minute walk to the sea, but on the way you just enjoy the views and don't notice the time. In general, the hotel is located in a stunning location, near an artificial waterfall, a lake, an abandoned railway station, a gorge, caves are just around the corner, a temple, Stalin's cottage, a park with swans. If you get up early, you can safely walk without crowds of tourists. This is such an atmospheric place that has left indelible impressions in my soul. I didn't expect anything from Abkhazia, but it surprised me. Thanks to all the staff. I could point out some minor disadvantages, but the overall impression overlaps everything, which I don't even want to.

For people who HAVE BEEN ABROAD AT LEAST ONCE and who understand what a hotel service is, I recommend reading this review.
I chose the hotel based on reviews and location. I paid 7,200 a day for a room in September, and what did I get:
1. A tiny shabby room in which:
- there are no bedside tables, a hair dryer, banal hygiene products, a shelf in the shower, a safe, a toilet paper holder, an air freshener
- the window sill on the attic window is falling off
- there is no outlet for the kettle
- disgusting bed linen in coils, which is disgusting to sleep on
- only 1 towel per person
- pillows decomposed into pieces
- the furniture is stripped
- a wobbly toilet with a seat is not the right size
- mold in the bathroom
- dust on the walls in the room
- non-closing shower stall door
- a toilet in which you will have to pour additional water to flush it
The room smelled terribly of sewage in the evenings, which made my head ache.

2. A diet in which there is no choice. There was 1 soup and 1 choice of the second for dinner. There were no fresh vegetables and fruits in principle. The compote is always the same, coffee from a jar, muesli is always 1 type. There was always the same cupcake with different syrups for tea. Instead of sour cream, only mayonnaise is added to the soup. You also need to clean up the dishes after yourself, put them in an inconvenient window. The dishes, by the way, are not always clean. For breakfast, the cheapest shriveled sausages, overcooked in old butter. In general, a disgusting canteen.
3. Lack of cleaning. Upon check-in, the cleaning lady greeted us. A little later, she came into our room and saw water on the floor after taking a shower and asked why we had it filled. I don't really understand what right the cleaning lady has to tell me what condition my room is in.
No cleaning was done, the maximum was to remove the garbage. The hair on the floor hadn't been cleaned for days, so I had to ask the reception what was the matter. Soon the room was cleaned, but old towels remained. I had to go to the reception again. After 20 minutes, the cleaner came with towels and started yelling at me why I was walking and complaining, to which she received a harsh response. I'm just shocked by this situation.
4. Lack of service. Upon arrival at the reception, we were told that the supply of drinking water was being delayed and we needed to buy it ourselves for 70p a bottle next to the cafe. We were not offered additional bottles of water. There was also a case with the lights off from 8:00 to 13:00.
5. Lack of territory. The entire territory consists of two houses and a couple of plants, as well as a cold pool, which is in the shade and never warms up.
6. The beach is a separate topic. We were in September, at 10 o'clock we could no longer find a free umbrella. There are also a lot of broken sun beds. The beach is covered in cigarette butts, a bunch of scary dogs. The toilet is paid.
In general, about Abkhazia: I am shocked from everything. With disgusting service, with prices for everything (Greek salad in the dining room for 450 rubles?), with the Soviet state of buildings and structures, with the lack of toilets in cafes, with the rudeness of local residents, with the level of excursions. The last time I was here 2 years ago and vacationed in the private sector, for the price that was, everything was OK. But now, for example, a jipping tour to the Ritz has risen in price from 1400 to 3000 rubles.
In general, it's up to you to go or not to go. I'm not walking anymore.

Apparently, they don't know here that the air conditioner needs to be monitored and cleaned. The bathroom is also a song. The toilet is wobbly, the lighting is zero. Food. Extremely bad. I have never seen burnt croutons offered to guests instead of baking. The canteen workers are rude, very angry and unpleasant women. It's a pity the money spent on this disgusting place.

You are immediately refused, if only through the tour operator from whom you purchased, even if you are willing to pay extra for the room. There is a problem with plumbing, furniture, windows and the smell of sewage in the attic rooms. About the mattress, pillows and blanket, it is better to keep silent, everything is old (it was in my room, the pillow is one name). I was not given a towel for my hands (because of the attic), and the towel for my body was changed only on the 5th day, once... the window did not close at all, when contacting the reception, nothing was done. About the dining room - they wash the dishes manually, there is no choice from the word at all, thanks for the porridges and soups that were every day.

Girls try not to be lazy. Responsive administrators will always help and tell you. We took excursions at the hotel from Tatiana, we liked everything. The only disadvantage is a late breakfast, which is inconvenient for those who get up early and then there is another queue...It's a pity to waste time waiting. We spent 14 days in this hotel. Overall, the impression is not bad. Large heated swimming pool. They clean it regularly. The food is not for buffets in Turkey, there is no variety, but everything is quite tasty. Two types of porridge, soup, side dish and meat are served. Delicious vegetables, always fresh mayonnaise and sour cream.
The attic rooms leave much to be desired. The bathroom is poorly cleaned, there is dirt in the corners, and mold in the shower stall and the smell from the drain is such that you had to cover it with a towel all the time. In one room, the ceiling was torn and no one was going to repair it.
It takes about fifteen minutes to walk to the sea, sun beds and umbrellas on your beach are free. There is a rental of billboards from 200 rubles per hour, banana rides 500 per person.
The waterfall is right next to the hotel and in the evening it is cool from it, it takes about ten minutes to walk to the monastery and the cave.
If you are going to relax here, then take any room, but not an attic room and your stay will be more pleasant. My friends lived in the main building and it was nice and much cleaner for them. I forgot to mention that the linen was changed every two days, the towels were changed once all the time.

We had a rest in July 2023 .I liked the rest. Wonderful nature .good location.but I didn't like the boarding house. The food is very monotonous , fresh , not salty , there are no salt shakers and napkins on the tables , tables on the street with discarded glass .there is no drinking water , you have to buy it .the so-called heated pool is not heated, cold leaves float in the pool, no one cleans it.The soul cabin doors will fall off tomorrow , it 's even scary to close them .the standard room for three is very cramped, it is not possible to turn around.I liked my vacation in Abkhazia in general due to excursions.A very wonderful djinn tour, a trip to Rosa Khutor too.the place new Athos itself is also very beautiful.but I will not recommend the waterfall boarding house to anyone..

A great hotel, located in a very attractive location. There is a nice swimming pool with sun loungers on site. Nearby there is a waterfall, caves, many shops with wine, souvenirs and all that. Within walking distance of the monastery, 15 minutes to the sea with a quiet step. Sun loungers are also provided on the sea. It's a very nice place, the food is delicious, of the cons - Wi-Fi only catches at the reception, but they don't come to the sea to sit on the Internet, right? ;)

A good boarding house. The staff is polite. The kitchen is simple, but you won't stay hungry. We had a rest for the May holidays in 2023. Rooms, "the dark kingdom". Terrible bathroom in all rooms, the bathroom smells of sewage. Meals at the HB hotel (breakfast and dinner) A complete Economy option - They do not know how to cook or do not want to, even from simple products you can cook something.. We expressed our complaints at the reception, but the hotel owner does not hear.! there is no spice set on the tables, as well as napkins, for salt or pepper you need to go to the distribution of cracked dishes. EVERYTHING IS VERY MODEST. we went to eat near the cafe at Raisa's, we recommend delicious at home.
