The best hotel in Gagra! I was there with my family 2 times. A lot of greenery. Aviaries with animals. Swimming pool for children and adults. Private beach. The beach bar. A good hookah))) and a large selection of drinks. I recommend it!!!

We rested in Abbaat for one day, impressed by the beauty of nature and the hotel. Cypresses, kiwi and lime trees grow on the territory, there is a mini zoo, a swimming pool. The sea is a 2-minute walk away. It is a pity that there are destroyed buildings and dirty outside the territory, of course this has nothing to do with the hotel! The only negative was the cramped room, but the view from the balcony made up for everything!

The hotel exceeded expectations, primarily due to the wonderful green area and the views of the surrounding area. The hotel's cafes are open to everyone, they are paid, but the prices are reasonable. We ate only in the Tea House, everything is very tasty, the portions are large. There was more cheese in the boat than bread.
The sea is rather a minus - the entrance is inconvenient, large stones, but it's okay to wear slippers. The beach is actually separate: although it is passable, but no one walks there and there are no stray dogs, so it is sparsely populated and you can leave things without problems. The rooms are simple and a little dark, but there is everything you need, slippers and bathrobes are also available. Unlike Novaya Gagra, I want to return to this hotel.

Very beautiful grounds, swimming pool and private beach. There is a rental of sup boards. We didn't rest at the hotel, we just had dinner at the restaurant. But the appearance of the hotel is very inviting))). They wanted to take fish in the restaurant, but there was no "Fresh catch" and we took trout on the advice of the waitress. It was a nightmare, an absolutely inedible frozen muck, which was especially insulting, since there is a trout farm next to Gagra... But to the credit of the restaurant, I must say that the fish was not included in the check, respect! By the way, they have "Ashta Lasha", a good dry (white and red) table wine. No special frills, but pleasant.

The hotel is nice and beautiful. The food is also of good quality. But the beach spoils any impression, it feels like you are somewhere in the bay of Novorossiysk. Rusty nails, some unfinished concrete slabs, clearly no one is taking care of the beach. Plus, the entrance to the water is very uncomfortable, huge slippery stones, you walk like through a minefield. The administration, pay attention to this, they come to you first of all by the sea.

But as always, Russians spread towels on the sun beds from the very early morning. Children are splashing in the pool with great pleasure. There are two restaurants at the hotel. Breakfast costs 500 rubles. The buffet. Porridge, pasta, sausages, omelette, eggs, vegetables, fruits. I advise you to try cheeses and cottage cheese. We had lunch here a couple of times. Thanks to the cook. Very tasty. There is also a restaurant "Uzbekistan". We had dinner twice, the waiters did well, everything is fine. But once, instead of the ordered wine, Isabella was brought in glasses. However, they were immediately replaced. We advise you, if you order wine, ask that the bottle be opened in front of you. On the last evening, the girl brought an open bottle, they also asked to replace it. And the meat didn't look like lamb, but it wasn't clear whose. In general, the wonderful impressions were spoiled. Nice hotel in Staraya Gagra.

The hotel is very nice. We got a room with a huge balcony, very lucky) Thanks to the administrators and all the staff, they helped resolve any issues during the vacation. The room cleaning is excellent. The territory is picturesque, with animals. We ate mostly in the Tea House, we didn't take breakfast at the hotel. The pool is large and beautiful. There is a football field, a volleyball court, you can play table tennis, lawn tennis. I recommend the hotel. The entrance to the sea is not very convenient, there are a lot of stones. Be careful.
The beds are very hard, the springs from the mattress are noticeable, it is not very comfortable to sleep on such.

There was also a stagnant smell of sewage in the room, which disappeared after two days of using the bathroom. No other disadvantages were found. We were a family of 3 people before the pandemic. The price tag was very tempting for 3 stars. within 50t. The first level is to the sea. I join the reviews on the beauty of the territory, daily cleaning, in the bathroom there were all the accessories - mini shampoos, soap, snow-white toilet paper, hair dryer, and it was all replenished every morning, but as for nutrition, I would say the opposite. Especially alcohol-everything is on stream. It is very expensive for such a hotel in 2023. And their restaurant has an expensive menu with macaroni and cheese-dishes and drinks do not match the menu. Nearby there are shops like mini pyaterochka, you can eat, nothing more. The local corn was very tasty, not bonduel, but a real southern one. We were high in the mountains, above Stalin's dacha, past the Ritsa lake, where there are livestock and springs, a mini-shop and it had everything-local tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, natural milk (cows, chickens). If desired, you can use
Dutifrey to visit. In the grocery market in mid-August, there was little local fruit and vegetables, mostly Turkish.

The rest is ruined, the promised heated pool of 25 degrees is actually icy, for days in the morning, and even on March 8 a tractor is working under the windows. They do not respond to complaints, nobody cares that people came to rest and not to live on a construction site. They took the money in full 6800 rubles per day , as a result , their head is splitting from their rest . It's not tasty in the teahouse. There was nothing at all from the breakfast menu at 10 a.m. The soup is just water , topped with fat .
The territory is on the first line , paving stones are being repaired everywhere in standard rooms , there is a block from the air conditioner right on the balcony on the floor
There is no tea, cups or kettle in the room. Cooler is in the hallway. There are no dressing gowns.
Spoiled holidays and holidays!!! We do not recommend the hotel to anyone.

I dreamed of getting to abaata for more than 1 year, I fell in love with it from the photos of tourists .this year, I am traveling once again in Abkhazia, I have firmly decided - only Abaata in Gagra.And now that I've returned home , I know for sure that I won't go there anymore.I just want to write what I liked - the room is nice , the plumbing is good, the Internet is good.the territory is small, beautiful, no doubt.breakfasts are 500 rubles per person .there was no cleaning in 4 days, once the garbage was taken out, on the third day we already ate, I begged to change towels, because of the moisture they stank, and the beach was very upset, on the first day I injured my leg because of boulders, I didn't like the beach either, the most terrible for me!!! The staff with stone faces, at breakfast the waitress dropped the plates on us. I saw what we were eating , I started raking the plates and missed it, Sour cream in different directions, we're in sour cream !That was the last straw.Obviously, the employees are poorly trained or tired, but this is the first time in my life.the pool is small and there are a lot of children there, with huge circles.
In general, this is my opinion on this hotel , and everyone decides where to go

and shower gel) pleasant, caring staff, cleaning on site daily. The beach is pebbly, there are always free sun beds and awnings, a bar on the beach. On-site restaurant, sauna, massage and spa rooms, gym (more often available). I really enjoyed relaxing here.

We have been resting for 2 years for New Year's holidays. Prices are rising by leaps and bounds, what happened in 22, 6 is already 10 this year. The place itself is great. The rooms are too small, a little more was just the thing. Clean, everything is cleaned on time. There is 1 cafe and a restaurant on the territory, if you can call it that. As for me, Abaat's cafe is a better place in Gagra. The sauna is super. I'll bet you 4 for a cold pool. It seems to be there, but at the same time it is not there. Since the water in it is 21-22 degrees in winter, I dived and came up running, you can't splash in it with children, it should be 35 degrees, as in all decent places, since we pay for it, it is deep, there is no children's zone in it. But there is a free nursery with babysitters, you can leave the child and go for a walk. We will definitely return to this hotel.

A wonderful hotel, with a history! The first hotel in Gagra. Nearby is the castle of the Prince of Oldenburg, who founded the resort. And there is a wonderful ancient temple of the 6th century right next to the hotel. Of the restaurants, I liked the Abaat Tea House.
