Wonderful, well-maintained territory. The rooms are small (Standard), but clean, with modern renovation. The girls at the reception are charming, very friendly and hospitable. The pool area is clean and comfortable. A 5-minute walk on the slope of the Prince of Oldenburg Castle, 15 minutes along the embankment - Gagripsh restaurant.

We had a rest in Abaat in 2016,2019 and this year.
I am pleased with the development of the hotel.
The staff is friendly, the cleaning is excellent.
A wish for the future:
- remove boulders from the bottom
- cut the pipe (sticking out of the bottom in the bathing area)
- install a sports ground (horizontal bars, bars..)

I really liked the hotel for its beautiful territory, closed from outsiders. the rooms are simple, but everything is there. The pool is warm, heated. Delicious cafe of Abaat.

We are regular guests of the hotel. The territory is gorgeous, the cuisine in the restaurant and Tea House is excellent. But! The Deluxe room is no different from the standard, except for the overpriced price and the second room, which looks more like an entrance hall. I would really like to see the real differences of the Suite: a kettle and a coffee machine in the room, a compliment - tea, coffee, juice, a set of toothpastes and brushes, a Jacuzzi bath, etc. And so, it's just not clear what you pay 12100 for a room?..

I do not know who writes all the positive reviews, but I stopped here on the recommendation of a friend, they say it's beautiful and so on. Perhaps that's all for me!!! Breakfast sucks for such a room rate in a hotel, very meager, the territory is not very large, and the ivy vines and plants on the buildings are beautiful, the beach stones are large. Two restaurants, only cash, which was not there. In other hotels, both the transfer and the card were accepted. In the teahouse, there are no dishes at all, at first the room had no balcony and no view because the whole window was covered in vegetation. We moved to the 3rd floor with a balcony and everything is fucked up by pigeons 🤦🏽♀️ I didn't get the impression at all about this hotel and there are no entertainment events.

I was thrilled to visit this place. Beautiful architecture (the fortress was built in the early 20th century). There is a park area, a mini zoo, a large swimming pool with a relaxation area, a beach bar, tennis, a gym, a children's room, a massage parlor, etc. The rooms are beautiful and clean. There are no signs of congestion. Daily cleaning and change of towels. With regard to washing: for 200 rubles, I will wash and dry your laundry. The room had a balcony-terrace: in the evening you can admire nature and drink Abkhazian wine. There is a Teahouse restaurant on site with 3 or 4 halls and terraces to choose from. The barbecue is just a fire. A small disadvantage is that there are few waiters, we had to wait. Otherwise, it's a 100% cool place to stay. I plan to visit this place next year.

So, you can write a lot of good and bad things about Abkhazia. But my review of this hotel will be very good. We were there on January 1, 2021. They were well received, treated with tangerines =) The room is nice and spacious. Unfortunately, the audibility is strong, but here, as in general, there are always questions for tourists who have forgotten how to think about others. that is, to listen loudly to music (even if it's good, it's not necessary for everyone to hear it!), get drunk and sort things out, etc. But, again, this is not for the hotel. it is very conveniently located, almost at the entrance to the city. Next to the hotel there is a beautiful ancient church, and opposite there is a very steep abandoned building. If you go deeper into the "jungle", they say there is something else interesting there, but we did not go deeper. The hotel has its own beach, and if you don't want to sit on the beach, then there are very convenient pebbles nearby, where God himself ordered you to get out in the evening with pita bread, local cheese, adjika and wine. You can use the services of a massage therapist at the hotel - by the way, a very nice guy worked there during our check-in!=) And also, since there is an old steam and an embankment nearby, which has been beautifully renovated, it is very convenient for morning jogging. To the Rotunda and back. In general, I advise you! And please behave yourself!=)

The perfect location. The hotel itself is not the first freshness, but if you do not "load" yourself with negativity, it is quite good. The restaurant "Abaata" is expensive, unjustifiably. There are young guys at the beach bar, communication is arrogant and disrespectful, swearing and swearing in front of visitors. The territory is not well maintained. The main building has a typical hotel smell (in the rooms). The audience is rather peripheral Russian, with crosses and chains on thick men's necks. In general, the "four with a minus" is only for the sea and nature, as well as the history and concept of the place itself.

The hotel, rooms, territory, beach, pool, all for 5. The territory is closed. No outsider will come in. There are sunbeds on the beach without mattresses, which is not particularly convenient. You can't lie down hard and for a long time. The rooms were cleaned daily, judging by the redone bed, but the floors were not washed every day. Sometimes they didn't leave the foot towels. The territory is clean and well maintained. The hotel itself is surrounded by greenery. Kiwis and tangerines grow on the territory. Breakfast
according to the buffet system, it does not shine with a special variety, but you will not stay hungry. Only sausages and sausage cuts are made from meat. The price is 400 rubles per person (August 2021). The service in the restaurant in the evening leaves much to be desired. We sat and waited for the waiter for almost 20 minutes. At first they wanted to leave, but after 10 minutes of waiting, it even became interesting how long it would last. After receiving the order, they waited for another 15 minutes. In general, customer orientation in this matter is sooo lame. Everyone who was in Abkhazia warned us about the quality of the food. As a result, my wife and I spent 1 day lying around in the room, because it was dangerous to move away from a faience friend for longer than 10 minutes))) But maybe it was an oral viral infection. After all, it's August, lots of kids, etc. For the money that we paid for a 7-day stay (62 thousand rubles), you can really organize an all-inclusive system, as for me. Or at least do it with breakfast. But this is only my opinion and I absolutely do not impose it on anyone. Abkhazia is beautiful, but the service, of course, is still completely in its infancy. Have a good rest!!!
