Nice hotel) small cozy rooms with balconies. Very well maintained, quite a large area with a warm swimming pool. Delicious breakfasts. There is a tea house on the territory of the hotel, we had lunch there - very tasty and relatively inexpensive.
The disadvantage of the hotel is the lack of bathrobes in all rooms, and the lack of kettles or coolers on each floor.

It wasn't the first time we had a rest. The rooms themselves are not very large, but everything you need is there. Cleaning every day. The price tag has gone up in Abaat's restaurant. It was cheaper last time.And the menu has changed . The chef must have measured himself. It wasn't really tasty a couple of years ago. Because of this, you can see that backgammon goes much less. There used to be a cue ball. There was no place to find. It 's cheaper in the Teahouse . We went almost only there . They feed normally-at a price. The service is good. And the return of the dishes is fast. The hotel grounds are clean and well maintained. They are constantly being cleaned. Instead of a raccoon, they bred rabbits)))Overall a good , relaxing stay . The only thing I didn't really like was that there were a lot of dog walkers (((The owners often didn't keep track of their dogs-they sent them on a samovygul. They were happily running around and marking everything around. That's why I didn't walk on the grass. Suddenly you run into a mine)))And if they were left in the room, then a loud "longing" for the whole neighborhood. Because of this, I only take off the star.

Rotavirus ruined the rest. Breakfast in the "restaurant" is a buffet, where products and salads are placed on tables practically outside without cooling. Sliced pieces of butter lie in water without ice. For some reason, the water in the sea was mixed with fat. The door to the room opens the old-fashioned way with a key (one for a family), there are no room cards. The lobby bar next to the reception has never worked during the entire vacation, the bar is only on the beach. There is no hotel's own restaurant in an air-conditioned room. You need to go either to a teahouse or to a restaurant with semi-private tables. The renovation and furniture in the room do not seem to be grandmother's, but they no longer look modern. The bathroom is small, the toilet with a tank without installation, the shower cabin is small, the tile is in the style of the 2000s. In general, nothing critical, but expectations were not met.

One of the best hotels in Gagra. It stands right on the seashore. The rooms are comfortable. A very beautiful inner park with a small zoo - two cougars, a raccoon, a peacock. There is an outdoor swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas. You can eat in a teahouse (20 meters), there is a budget dining room across the street. Nearby is the city park, which is now being restored, a very beautiful Colonnade with a fountain in the park, and the famous Gagripsh restaurant.

Not a bad hotel!
If you suddenly go to Abkhazia, then Abaata is probably the best choice.
Obvious advantages:
- located on the outskirts of the city away from the central tourist destinations
- your own beach, on one side a fence, on the other a cliff. You can comfortably relax by the sea without crowds of people, without fear for the things left behind, because all your own
- a decent contingent of vacationers
- the sea has its own bar with pleasant cocktails, where you can comfortably sit in the shade overlooking the sea
- nice, well-groomed area
- excellent service for all hotel services
- sooo delicious cafe Teahouse, really great cuisine, all dishes are cooked from the heart, quite an extensive menu, excellent service, they cook quickly. Chebureks are just a bomb, and everything else is commendable. The prices are about the same as in a Moscow cafe. We tried more than half of the menu. I liked it so much that we didn't even go to Abaat's Restaurant.

Cons:
- uncomfortable mattresses with noticeable springs
- the pool is not very big, a lot of children swim all the time
- one outdoor toilet with one stall for m and w for the beach by the sea and pool
- animation is not noticed at all, once I saw how they draw with children. Although there is a volleyball court, you can organize boccia, table tennis, darts, etc. Tourists should organize everything themselves in fact.

- there is not a large selection of dishes for breakfast in the cafe of the Tea House, and the breakfast buffet is boring
- it's not a very convenient entrance to the sea, there is a small concrete platform, but still it helps to go only knee-deep, then stones. It would be possible to make at least a small pier so that it would be more comfortable to enter the water,

The hotel is at the beginning of Gagra. The price tag is high, but the conditions are ideal, beautiful territory, heated swimming pool at any time of the year. The sea is nearby 30m from the territory. Go over the boulders, you need to move closer to the pack and swim there. The food is either in a restaurant on site or in a teahouse nearby, at prices that are not budget-friendly. There is a canteen across the street at the bus stop, but out of season the food is all stale and there is a rush. But there is a pavilion nearby, there are khinkali and chebureks. There are beautiful views of the mountains and the castle of the Prince of Oldenburg. There is a gym, a room with a game console, a micro-shop on site)) There are always fruits for guests at the reception. We lived on the ground floor in the building next to the gate and the exit there. Very convenient. The only thing is that, although the rooms are beautiful and cozy, the sound insulation is not very good, especially the drain pipes, you can hear all the drains)) If we compare it with the Literary Fund, where we barely lived for two days, then this is heaven and earth!!!

The hotel was pleasantly surprised! An amazing place with a very convenient location. Excellent equipment of the hotel, well-groomed territory. We rested twice and plan to stop more than once. A great restaurant with good cuisine, the chef tries to please all the guests. The summer bar is a magical place with delicious cocktails, professional bartenders work. There are always sun beds and umbrellas on the beach, the entrance to the sea is very convenient and the sea itself is cleaning (unlike n.Athos).

An excellent, I would say atmospheric place of Old Gagra. We have been there several times both in summer and winter. Its own beach, a cute little chamber park, quiet and very cozy, there is a cafe. The portions in the cafe are such that they took one for two with my wife! It is located in the very center of Gagra.
I definitely recommend it. We consider the Abaat hotel as a place for the next arrival, without options. Disadvantages? - there is only one minus - they smoke in the cafe! Going out with a child in the evening is not exactly comme il faut.

The guide Amiran Bzhania, offered at the hotel reception on vacap, provided all the necessary information about the individual excursions offered by him. We went with him in his comfortable 6-seater minivan on two wonderful excursions. When choosing an excursion, the guide offered the opportunity to add or subtract something from the places of visit in the chosen direction. We were satisfied with everything and recommend both Abaat and Amiran to vacationers.

Nice girls at the reception.Delicious breakfasts, cafe teahouse just love 😻 private beach , beautiful vegetation , cleanliness . Nearby there are shops, transport , a park , the old Gagra embankment. But the standard rooms themselves are very small, and I would like to have a soap dish from the bathroom accessories, at least a toothbrush stand, a better quality shampoo gel, well, some such little things that are no longer something so incredible for hotels, especially since the price tag really allows. The hotel is not bad, clean, beautifully manicured territory, rabbits and pheasants live, a playground with swings and a slide, there is private Parking. There is wi-fi, ATM. Cards are not accepted! There is a game room, a small pool and a beach (loose sand + pebbles). The sea is clear. Breakfast is available for a fee at a nearby cafe.
One of the disadvantages is terrible audibility. All conversations in the hallway or on the street can be heard from the room. It is very cold in the room (we were at the end of April). There is no heated towel rail or floor dryer, no battery. The child's clothes had to be dried for several days. The room is small, although we took an improved one. My one-year-old baby and I were placed on the very last 5th floor, there is no elevator. I had to carry the baby and the stroller in my arms up all the stairs. Check-in to the parking lot through an automatic gate, we waited for 15 minutes for it to open. There is no bell/button on the gate.
In general, a good place, but the price / quality ratio, in my opinion, does not correspond to the cost of the room and the number of declared stars.

Definitely worthy of a recommendation for a family vacation. We are currently staying at this hotel. I inform those who, like me, bought into beautiful photos - already day 4 you will absolutely not care what kind of view you have from the window, what is on the territory, what color the sea is, etc., because every day, returning to the room in the evening to relax, you will instead listen to screams (namely screams!) karaoke from a nearby cafe. Add the hits of the 90s to the disgusting vocals. Every day from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., basses will be hammering on your head. At the same time, in order to somehow escape, you will have to close the window, from which you will begin to suffocate and sweat. Moreover, after 12 at night, you will not fall asleep immediately either, because your heart is pounding like mad from the stuffiness and blood rushing to your head. At the moment, I have already caught a severe lack of sleep, I have to sleep during the day to somehow get back to normal, there is no question of any regime. I don't understand why the hotel doesn't do anything about it. He probably thinks this is the norm too. The hotel is not suitable for a healthy stay, I definitely do not recommend it.

The approach to the beach and the beach itself is disgusting, broken paths, huge stones when descending into the water. The gym is one name, it would be better if it did not exist at all.

We visited 3 hotels on the coast, one of which is Abaata, all had their pros and cons.
The first places in my personal rating are at Abaata by territory (beautiful, blooming garden, retro cars), a massage gazebo on the coast is a delight.
And of all the places, it was the most budget-friendly, although in fact it is not budget-friendly.
Another advantage: there is a landmark with a beautiful view nearby, I liked the area that is being renovated near the reception, where stone and glass are combined. There is a trampoline for a child, the pool is pleasant, there are many animals on the territory.
Cons - the bathroom flowed in the Chalet room, the maid could only clean the water, as a result there was a constant puddle, in general the rooms are tired, but this is in the Chalet, apparently, everything is better in the main building.

One disadvantage is that smoking is allowed in the hotel, rooms and restaurant. The shower stank all the time, the same story from the balcony. And in the restaurant I had to take the order with me and leave, there was nothing to breathe. When you booked, you were not warned that they were smoking. For 11,000 rubles a day, I don't really want to breathe smelly cigarettes.

We stayed in an apartment.
Troubles arose in the first 30 minutes, problems with sewerage and pipes, as a result, hotel employees came for 2 days in a row, for which they were very grateful, they tried to fix the problems.
The main issue is Safety on the water!
There are no rescuers or a person who would look after the situation on the water. Therefore, a vacationer who starts asking for help will drown!
First, it won't be visible.
Secondly, no one can save him!
There are no buoys stretched along the perimeter, there are 2 plastic containers in the distance.

The hotel exceeded expectations.
Stunning well-maintained green area, heated swimming pool, the sea is two steps away (but the beach is quite rocky).
The owner of the hotel is a great fellow for being able to integrate modern style into the spirit of antiquity (some buildings of 1903-1905). Everything is so harmonious, comfortable and inviting that I didn't want to leave.
On site you can play table tennis, work out in the gym or even watch the cougars. There is a laundry service (for only 200 rubles). You can have breakfast in the Teahouse or the Abaat restaurant, the breakfast menu is the same, but the restaurant was tasteless, and the Teahouse, on the contrary, pleased (not only the breakfasts are very tasty).
It is very clean both on site and in the rooms (cleaning every day).
The most excellent service. Special thanks to the girls at the reception. Their attitude towards the guests set the tone for everything :)
I really want to come back.
