To sum up the whole review, the hotel is great.
The territory is not too big, but it is very beautiful. There are palm trees all around. If we compare it with Krasnodar hotels, then the territory is even large.
The basik is warm, clean, and the children enjoy swimming all day long. The beach is equipped. First impression from YouTube, not particularly good, not well maintained. But upon arrival here, the impression changed. Quite worthy. There is a lot of space for everyone. In the center, the strip is cleared of large stones, it is normal for children to swim. Yes, there are huge boulders on the sides.
The teahouse cafe is quite expensive, but everything is clean, neat, and delicious. But expensive. A bottle of lykhna wine costs 450 rubles, and in the market in the store it is also 220 rubles. There is a dining room nearby, on Yuri Gagarin Square, where the destroyed shopping center is. The prices are slightly lower, but.... a squeamish person will definitely not dine there.... What else. The rooms are cleaned every day, there are no complaints. There are no animals in the room, the water is hot and cold, everything is normal. At night, for some reason, the electricity is turned off... Maybe they save money, maybe for other reasons. There is an embankment with cafes, music plays loudly until midnight. There is a beautiful park along the embankment. We really liked it, I recommend it and we will definitely come here again.

A wonderful hotel. Location - not far from the border, located in staraya Gagra. The sea (1st line) and mountains, greenery, beautiful well-groomed territory. A clean pool for children and adults. The sauna is generally super...with a font and a sea view.
I would also like to draw attention to the excellent owners of the hotel, to their good attitude towards the guests.
A great place to relax with children, friends, and for the elderly. Since it is quiet and cozy in a closed area. I definitely recommend everyone to visit this hotel!

We had a rest at the Abaata in the city of Gagra. Overall, the impressions are positive. Of the disadvantages, I would like to highlight the lack of noise insulation, as already mentioned in the reviews. In May, there were already a lot of vacationers, while the beach, apparently, was not quite ready for the season, the umbrellas were tinted and put in order - this is of course good, but when you want to sit by the sea and instead of sea freshness you feel the smell of paint - it is not very pleasant.
The balconies of the buildings are located very close to the neighboring balconies, you go out onto the balcony and the neighbor is an arm's length away.
But I would like to highlight the advantages.
Cleaning is regular, there are no problems with changing towels, very cute animals and birds on the territory, there is a beautiful view from the room.
The rules of the hotel state that you can not turn on music on your devices and this is very good, given the lack of noise insulation.
Some neighbors, music lovers, turned on a speaker on the balcony, we turned to the reception and made a remark to the neighbors.
To sum up, I would like to note the good service and positive attitude towards the hotel guests.

The bartender boys are sleepy flies, and instead of the long-awaited mahito, there is ice water with a floating mint leaf. And yes! Check the change! Bartenders do not show any zeal in this matter.

From my point of view, the best hotel in Gagra. Neat rooms, green area, beautiful surroundings. Two disadvantages are expensive breakfasts and an inconvenient beach. The first is solved by delicious meals in the dining room on Naartaa Square across the street from the hotel, the second by buying rubber slippers for swimming.

We were coming here with the expectation of "one of the best hotels in Abkhazia". Unfortunately, it seems to me that all the rave reviews are written by people who did not rest in normal hotels for this money or came after the sanatorium a la Moskvichka and it seems to them "wow".

We arrived at 5 a.m., realizing that check-in was only after 14. Towels are not given out until the moment of check-in, which means that neither swim nor wash. Okay. There was a request for a cot, to which we were told "full load, there are no cots available. As soon as it is released, we will provide it." Guys, who cares about this? Where should the child sleep?
From 4 times, closer to night, they asked for a crib- a crib from the time of the Russian Empire, but thanks for that.
A double bed is two single beds placed side by side. They are very uncomfortable and squeaky. The furniture in the room is shabby. When you wash, the water is constantly cold and hot. There is only one cooler per building, there is no one on the territory.
The playground is one unfortunate slide, where part of the ladders is missing.
The beach is cleaned once a day, there was a storm all day and by the middle of the day there was a stench of algae that no one cleans up until the next morning.
The bottom is with huge boulders, on which you can easily break all your feet, you cannot enter without slippers. I do not understand why it is difficult to make a small wooden pier for convenience, but instead there is a concrete slab…
The territory itself is beautiful, but there is no special care for it, the grass is above the ankle. During the 10 days of rest, we saw only 1 lawn mower. A river flows down to the right of the hotel. The water is in that direction, dirty, muddy, the bottom is not visible even on the shore. Since the weather was bad, almost the whole vacation, there was nothing much to do, there is a gym in the description, but so that you understand, these are 3 simulators on an area of 5 m2. The most important thing is to indicate that it exists.

Yoga was held on the beach in the morning, my husband called everyone to volleyball himself, they pumped up the ball themselves, in the car. That's all.
From the nursery is the music turned on from a wheezing speaker at 8 p.m.
There are no complaints about nutrition, because it is not included. If you want, eat, if you don't want. The restaurant is expensive. Noodle soup 300 rubles, waiting time is half an hour. To the question "do you always take so long?" we were answered "yes, we cook after the fact." Well, OK. We ate in a teahouse—it's faster and more intimate there. Breakfasts are worth the money, the only thing is that there was no ordinary fried eggs, only an omelet. The price includes only espresso and Americano, for cappuccino, latte - payment is separate. 230 rubles per serving…

In fact, this is an old Savdepovsky hotel stuck in 2000 and at best since 3***
Cons! The staff is inattentive, lazy and childish. The territory is not as beautiful as in the photo. They keep a cougar in a cage. Water, bathrobes, etc. are not provided. 1 Cooler on the floor! They were electrocuted in the bathtub, so they didn't even apologize until they started swearing, they didn't even act like it happens every day.
Advantages! Chevrolet retro car on the beach. Its own beach and a closed area. There is a genirator if the lights suddenly turn off - which we had for 3 days in a row.

This is a solid 5 for Abkhazia! Clean territory! The sea view is amazing, as if I came to Cuba (and I was there). Well-maintained territory. The territory and buildings are constantly being cleaned, every day, three times for sure. The staff is just awesome! What's in the bar, what's in the restaurant. The owners constantly monitor and control everything, and this makes the service really at a good level.
There are many abandoned places near the hotel within walking distance. The palace, the railway platform, the cable car - everything can be reached on foot.
I am very picky about housing and food. In this hotel, all this is at a very good level. Recommend.

I give one star only because it is very important for me to play sports on vacation and choosing a hotel, we chose to have a gym. There is only one name left from the gym, everything is broken, dirty, it feels like the gym equipment is from a landfill. Fix it and I'll be able to give you 5 stars!

I want to return to the Abaata Hotel, this is the place where the soul and body rest. I really liked the daily morning yoga in nature with coach Ekaterina. It was amazing. The territory of the hotel is incredibly beautiful and well maintained. First line, bar, restaurants, clean sea, swimming pool. Everything is nearby). If you really want to take a break from all the fuss, you definitely need to come to this corner of paradise at the Abaata hotel. 😍

I also got to the review) It was my first time in Abkhazia, but I immediately managed to relax in two places. We had a rest in mid-June, the weather on Yandex was very depressing, the forecast for the whole week was rains and thunderstorms. But! All seven days it was hot and sunny, only one morning it sprinkled with rain and by lunchtime everything was tip-top!
About the hotel: the most important thing to know is a great green well-kept area. Flowers, fragrance, palm trees are a thrill. There are rabbits, pheasants and even cougars in the pens on the territory (although I did not see them, they probably slept).
Rooms: we lived in an old building, the room stock is, in principle, normal, but the rooms are too small. There was a little trouble upon arrival, the five of us were moved into a room where it was not possible to put even a cot as an extra place due to the tightness. The room was changed, they gave a little more space. However, I had to fold, unfold and carry suitcases when I already wanted to dive and not come up))
Food (breakfast) is not included in the price, it is paid separately - 500 rubles for an adult, 400 rubles for a child. The breakfast is standard for hotels, delicious. Surprisingly, coffee is all included in the breakfast price, with the exception of cappuccino or latte - these types are paid separately.
Sea, beach, pool: everything is there. There is a note to the organization and logistics of the territory, for example, to change clothes and relax by the pool, you need to scratch 150 meters to the cabin, and then back to the pool. It's inconvenient. There is a bar on the beach, sun beds, hammocks, sun protection. The sea warmed up, it was possible to swim.
Now the biggest and fattest minus, for which I took off 1 star: this is the entrance to the sea. Very tough, to be honest, for all the sea trips this is the most unfortunate experience. Huge boulders of different sizes, plus they are very slippery. A small pier or concrete approach does not help, it was from there that I entered, swam and cut my foot. It's a shame, I couldn't swim the remaining three days of rest in Gagra, I was healing my wound).
In general, the rest left positive impressions. What you need to go to Abkhazia for is nature, air, sea, climate.

Pros: Very beautiful territory and clean private beach. A great teahouse on the territory. Own diesel power plant - there is always light (almost :)). The complex of buildings in the state ownership of the republic. Abkhazia, and the owners of the hotel are from Russia, which has a good effect on the service. The hotel is focused on a relaxing holiday without discos and noise.
Cons: well, the laundry there is so-so.

Two stars for the photogenic territory and a soft cot, perhaps that's all. For 5,800 days, you get a room that smells like bleach or severe dampness. The guy immediately started having allergies and had to move to a nearby hotel. Breakfast is not included, the area is very small. There is no coastline, only boulders. Bedbugs are lying around in the room, and it's just impossible to sleep until at least 9, let alone until 12... the audibility is such from the corridor, it's just terrible, as if people are screaming in our room. We moved to a nearby hotel and of course this is heaven and earth. I highly recommend the Amra hotel. Huge territory, buffet included for the same price , great room, stunning views, sand by the beach. In short, the abbot was very upset. Taking pictures there is the maximum. But by the way, we had breakfast in the teahouse at the abaaty restaurant - I was very pleased with the food. Delicious homemade, fresh orange juice is so delicious, be sure to take it!

The beautiful territory of the hotel, the economy room in the Chalet building is very nice. Entering the sea is HELL! Some boulders , you can break your legs . By the way, I took fresh orange juice at the beach bar and then sat with rotovirus for 3 days ! It is unreasonably expensive for a room ! I didn't understand about the all-inclusive breakfast at the hotel, like I paid 500 rubles per person, but for some reason I had to buy cappuccino coffee for 250 rubles...total 750 rubles for breakfast .
