Well-organized airport, excellent transport accessibility... Was. For the year 2024, however, I would not advise getting to the railway. Trains are extremely unreliable in Germany right now.
Modern, clean, neat and understandable.
A fairly large airport, linear orientation, everything is clear from the signs, if you do not change the levels. Treadmills are often found, which is convenient if there are heavy suitcases. There are many boutiques and cafes. Convenient and inexpensive duty free. Red tape and delays with exits to planes, slow access to the gates
I've been there many times, everything is always fast and clear, but unfortunately during the European Football Championship 2024 I almost missed the plane because of the large crowd and the small number of booths of border guards
Before departure, only the exit was open in Terminal 1. Two hours of waiting before checking luggage, an hour at passport control. There were only two employees at the passport control for the huge crowd of people who do not have an EU passport.
At the entrance, every time the policemen arrange an interrogation with partiality, as in no other airport in Europe. Despite the fact that you show a return ticket, you are being questioned as a person who wants to stay in their town.
I would never want to be at this airport! Check-in and this huge queue where luggage is screened before passport control is just creepy 🤦
And in general it is very uncomfortable to be there
The waiting area is full of shit, there's not even a place to sit down for a snack and drink coffee
I haven't seen such a nightmare in a long time. We flew for 1.5 hours, but we queued for passport control for 1 hour and 40 minutes. And all in a crush. Why mock people? And it is one of the richest cities in Germany, with a large number of tourists.
A very, very long queue at the border crossing, when you have to wait an hour and a half, could spoil the mood completely. Moreover, the queue is large both at the entrance and at the exit. The airport is smaller than expected

Quite a comfortable and modern German airport, quite adequate flight information, clear staff work, convenient free trade tax zones and food cards. The prices are European.
A large airport terminal with very poor organization and layout.
The check-in areas are quite long, there are few places to sit.
Of the advantages, I can mention the rer, which is located right there in the building, but you need to actively look at the signs and directions of trains, otherwise you can get into a mess.
The gates have several cafes, salads are not very good, cappuccino is delicious)) There are no fresh pastries.
Well, it's worth noting that flights have been constantly delayed lately, which is not great if you are in a hurry.
Normal, there are small problems with the staff, they would like to set up a regime, as well as allow them to drink energy drinks and soda, maybe it would be better for them..
1. In terms of terminal navigation - so-so;
2. There are no employees at the information stands. There is an internal phone on the counter, they picked up the phone on the 3rd attempt;
3. Only 2 people work at passport control;
4. The security service will take and throw away your lighters without any reason. They won't even bother explaining the reasons. Thank you for not insulting me.
A large rich airport, shops with prices lower than in Milan, food is more expensive than in Singapore, the public is more fashionable and cooler than in the Emirates)
A wonderful jetty, they fly in all directions, the staff is very attentive and sociable, they will tell you, show you and take you where you need to go, the airport is very large, there are many terminals, so many people get confused)
A decent German airport. It's all good. Baggage claim has failed. We waited for more than an hour.
On the way back, Turkish airlines arranged a surprise - they canceled the flight at the last moment, without explaining the reasons. Compensation has not been paid yet. I had to admire the beauty of the town nearby the airport.
Everything is good and beautiful, but when it is not planned, thanks to the actions of the airline, which did not even apologize, then everything naturally has an unpleasant aftertaste. Good luck to all and have a good trip!
Comfort Wi Fi is available everything is conveniently available good shops great deals on wine without extra charges as well as sausage prices as in stores
Huge. There are signs everywhere, navigation, but it's still better to study the Internet in advance in order to understand which letters to search for a train, by which - metro, bus, etc. Otherwise, you can run for a long time
Excellent airport, convenient access to terminals.

Free unlimited WIFI, unlike Istanbul and Antalya. Very polite police officers at the border control. On departure, the problem is not very informative display in the terminals, but I figured it out anyway.
The airport is not bad, you can't get lost inside the terminal even if you don't know foreign languages, everything is intuitive. But there are a lot of terminals that look the same, and if I hadn't been brought to the right one, I would have had to figure out maps and diagrams for a long time
The airport is too confusing. Don't expect to ask the workers for directions. You will come across a complete disregard. You'll have to do everything yourself. But I somehow figured it out on my own.
I recommend arriving in advance, because the airport has its own characteristics. Terminals are nearby, but you will have to walk for 15 ± minutes. And so good and modern
I haven't been to this airport for a long time. The last time we flew with our daughter was for the Christmas holidays and we were greeted by a beautiful bazaar, where we walked right with our suitcases. I have the warmest memories!
Uncomfortable, illogical and inconvenient - especially not for EU citizens, very long queues at the security check, then at passport control. I recommend arriving 3 hours in advance. The airport is dirty, the waiting area is small, the seats are old and there are few of them, there are no normal shops and cafes, it's dirty outside and there are steers and cigarette butts all around, the architecture of Russian sheds. In general, it seems that non-EU citizens are inhumans, there is no such humiliation at any Russian airport - 500 people rub in a snake for 2 hours in a queue, and it doesn't matter to the police - they close two booths, and that's it. And there is not even anyone to complain, nor to quarrel. But immediately upon arrival you understand where your Homeland is, and where you will always be a stranger)
I was in 2008, arrived and stayed at the Hilton (previously there was Kempinski) 5 minutes on foot, everything is very comfortable and fast with minimal queues
I liked the airport very much in 2017. The Germans did not show their best side, they flew in a group of 30 people from Moscow to Munich, stood for almost an hour after getting off the plane. Then three more policemen armed with machine guns came up, apparently they were afraid of the capture of Munich by the Russians. We've been rocking for a long time that we have a corporate visit, we have return tickets, don't be afraid if Berlin is returned, we don't need Munich)))
Excellent international airport, convenient transport accessibility, good waiting areas, in short, "Deutsch Ordnung" I apologize for my German

The airport is half-empty, there are not many people, access to the business lounge has finally opened via miles-on-air, the staff misses Russian tourists very much))
