The airport has been dug up, almost all boarding goes through the bus. But most of all, queues at passport control after arrival and a separate queue, faster verification for EU countries, as for people of different sorts, are outraged. I get to the Russians, but they still let everyone through, I fly often, it probably gives me pleasure to make fun of them. It's probably nice to feel your importance. I often fly and see, sometimes they are wrong, I tell them how to do it right))
A huge new airport. Very convenient navigation inside the airport. Lufthansa has its own separate terminal, which is very convenient for flights with transfers. There are not very many shops. And there are practically no Bavarian souvenirs, the choice is very poor compared to Prague, Milan, Brussels, etc.
Not the most convenient navigation, the airport itself is comfortable with excellent shops, a souvenir area, excellent coffee shops, a mid-level segment at prices

It's a big airport, a lot of people, but they work fast. The only thing is that often in the morning the control is slow.z 2 windows the whole plane passes and more questions can be asked, of course English. They know, but they don't know Russian. Why did you come, to whom did you come, for how long, ... although all the dates are on the visa.
Flights are not operated at night. At 11 p.m., it is no longer possible to get into the clean zone. You can wait out the night at the airport itself. On the ground floor, there are sockets only in the toilets. In a clean area (there are a lot of sockets for charging phones, etc.) there is a place to sleep (special reclining places, perhaps for money. I didn't use it.) recreation area in sector H with hard seats with reclining mode. In zone K, the recreation area also has upholstered chairs with reclining mode. They can be found in the right wing. I didn't go to the left wing. There is free Wi-Fi. There is no McDonald's. There is a subway.
The worst quiet business lounge can be accessed using a simple priority pass (not all), minus that the bz where you can get to using a simple pp are located in terminal 1, and if you fly through terminal 2, you have to go to the bz by bus (about 15 minutes in total). In general, I liked the airport, it's beautiful, good navigation, everything is clear. But very big.
The waiting room is comfortable, there are many cafes and duty free, there are always options for spending time, there are walking paths for quick movement around the airport
The newest airport, clean, comfortable waiting rooms. Big duty free. A beautiful square. There are a lot of pointers, so you won't get lost.

It's a good airport. The only problem was figuring out how to get to your gate, which was in another terminal. There is an underground tunnel between the terminals through which the so-called train runs
One passport control window was working , we stood in line for more than an hour !!! fortunately, the docking time allowed. One food point, the dishes are good, delicious, but it is not possible to combine them at will. For example, you can only take potatoes with meat, but meat with tomatoes is not allowed, tomatoes only with potatoes ..... For me this is important, because children do not eat on the plane, and there is a 4-hour flight ahead.
There are long queues at passport controls, but chic business halls where you can really have a good meal, drink wine, sleep, hang out on the Internet and even take a shower. And there are no queues to return so many fries.
The airport is decent and clean. I just froze passport control. Arriving from Moscow at about 9.30, they passed passport control by 11.00. There were not many people, but the police then changed, then closed their windows, then switched to EU citizens. It was much faster on the way back.
at the end of June, I flew to Munich, everything seemed to go quickly without problems ...
there were problems with the return flight home: about 8 flights were sent to check in to some ass of the world... a long corridor, on the 2nd floor, ending in passport control booths with 4 windows. there were only 2 windows, of which one window accepted everyone, and the second only some selected Europeans, because some were sent to the next window. of the 8 flights, there were 4 Russian ones, the rest were Turks, Chinese, Japanese and some kind of hodgepodge of Americans and Europeans. as a result, about 70% of people did not make it to their flight. but since these latecomers accounted for about half of the passengers on their flights, their departures were postponed... I was lucky enough to stand in this gut among the first 50-70 people, I passed in 55 minutes, fortunately I arrived with a reserve and managed to catch my flight on time, but I'm afraid to even imagine how much this whole gut dissolved... when I left this hell, someone was already breaking through to the customs officers with his fists...
Russian citizens are being harassed more and more at German airports...
such a huge airport (8th place in Europe in terms of capacity), and such a dirty trick was thrown out... People in this queue said that lately in Germany they have often fallen into the same hell!!!!

The airport is generally normal,
The business hall is generally excellent.
Advice to those staying! Be prepared in advance to tell the customs officer (in English or German) about the purpose for which you came, where you will live and until what date. It is advisable to have a printed hotel voucher and a return ticket. Unfortunately, the passage of passport control can be very delayed due to the abundance of unprepared arrivals (I personally waited in line for about an hour).
It's a big airport, but it's better to arrive in advance so as not to miss your flight. The staff works unpredictably. Sometimes fast , sometimes impossibly slow .
A good Josef Strauss airport, with terminals inside something like a park area, several terminals, good prices in cafes, but it's better not to buy in vending machines, a bottle of water and 4 euros is arrogance.
One word GERMANS. Everything is in perfect cleanliness, used for phones, laptops, in the backs of chairs in the waiting room. The exits are distributed by airline. Smoking room, kemel. Prices at the airport are not much higher than in the city.
A modern airport capable of handling a huge passenger traffic. Everything is thought out, well organized. The only thing that left an unpleasant aftertaste was that I had to wait a very long time for at least some information about the luggage that was late thanks to Sheremetyevo.
The airport is under reconstruction, while the organization is confusing, there is not enough information. Airlines are crammed into different terminals and corners, long, not always obvious passages along some unsettled corridors (from the Lufthansa zone) with elevators and even an internal subway. When completed, the situation will probably change.
Passport control for Germans is slow, sometimes you have to stand in line for a long time. Moreover, it happens that the queue is large, but only one window works.
The organization of flights is good. Even when several planes are in line to take off or land, everything is fast.
There are a lot of duty-free, there is a choice of goods
It's a great airport. Although it is big, but everything is clear and accessible. There are many shops and cafes with very good prices.

Advice! To use the free WiFi, you need to log in using your email address. So, in order not to spend your money on the account, there is free Internet access at the airport, there are several computers. There you can log in and receive the code by email. And connect your device to free WiFi.
Since there are no instructions in Russian about this, I think my review will help someone.
Everything is clear, accessible, beautiful, modern. They passed the control in a timely manner. Very meticulous border guards. That's right.! It would be nice if you could speak Russian. Because of the excitement , all the right words run away from my head .
The airport is good, but how the customs officers torment tourists, at the entrance for Russians they are interrogated with partiality, for some - a complete shake-up of luggage and hand luggage!
Airport named after Strauss evokes very painful memories. If you are flying Lufthansa, then everything is fine - this is another terminal, there are a lot of border guards at passport control and they do not ask to show everything up to the recalculation of your money, as in terminal 1. Terminal 1 is another matter for other companies. This is an outrage. There are usually 2.3 border guards on arrival and you can stand for an hour.
Munich Airport. Everything is as usual. The Internet is free. It's all good... But you should not arrive in advance for Aeroflot flights, well, there are no problems at check-in except for the queue that we create for ourselves...
Upon arrival, they were placed in a small room, without a toilet(!), there were only 2 people on the whole plane checking passports! When we took off, too, after all the "checks" we found ourselves at our boarding gate, as a result, we had only a Dutifry, one cafe, a toilet and some other small souvenir shop at our disposal
It's a big hub, but everything is well organized, even Russian-speaking employees come across. I really liked it! But the waiting room is business bullshit, it's incomparably cooler in Pulkovo. There may not even be a place in Munich. It was a shock, like the Kiev railway station
A good, clean, convenient airport, but it does not reach the 5-point rating because there are too few passport control and preflight inspection points in Terminal B. You can hang out there for a long time and if you do not pass without a queue, you will also be late for boarding, having checked in for a flight 1.5 hours before departure.
A small, quiet airport, convenient to get from the center of Munich by S1 or S8. Upon arrival, the border is slowly traversed. But this is apparently a feature common to residents of the non-eurozone....
Horrible.
The queue for passport control on arrival is 1.5 hours. And this is 1 plane. At the same time, there is no toilet there - be patient until you pass. The same thing happens at the exit. Check-in for departure starts two hours in advance - before that, there are just empty counters. And there are no kiosks for printing boarding passes. There is a queue for taxis. You stand in line for an hour and a half at passport control for departure again. Two border guards are sitting there and one of them is serving the business. Then just go straight to the landing. Although we arrived at the airport much in advance. Moreover, from these queues you go to the plane exhausted. Munich airport ruined all the impressions of the trip.
A giant airport! A huge territory, but everything is very well thought out. Although there were 1.5 hours at customs upon arrival, and there was only our flight. There is a train to the city below, buses. Monorails run between the terminals. We were almost late for the rail because of this, because the distances between the terminals were not calculated. Come in advance!!!!
The car rental business model is not honest. Why can't I pay online for everything I need to come and go? Or did Yandex drive spoil me?
When you see one policeman at the exit, don't be afraid - being late for a flight is fine there. They always do that. Which is strange to me. There are even Russian-speaking policemen on arrival and they let them through much faster than they let them out of their Germany :)
As always, I did not like the too strict German customs. Otherwise, everything is fine - inexpensive cafes, a children's room, a free viewing area for Lufthansa passengers. It's all pretty cute.
The most comfortable and intuitive airport! You don't think for a single second where to go, everything is so thought out. It would seem to be Germany, but this is not the case in Frankfurt at all. Playgrounds, waiting areas with sockets.
It is quite a modern airport. However, there are no outlets to be found... there is a couple in the cafe on the second floor. In general, everything is fine. Everything is clean and clearly organized...
A good airport, but the departure and arrival zones stretched along the entire length of the airport are not very conveniently located. I was in Terminal 1, I had to run... Maybe it was just bad luck.
Everything is very simple and intuitive in terms of inputs and outputs. We only strained the vending machines that are located at the airport and issue tickets for vehicles, everything is not much confused and there is no vending machine in Russian.
Long queues at ticket vending machines, otherwise everything is OK.
The airport, like many other European airports, is quite comfortable, but without frills.
Carefully look at which terminal to board at - if you arrive at the wrong one, you will have to go far.
Everything is fine, except for the border guards (meticulous, the queues are huge, both there and back). There is also one disadvantage: when leaving the airport, the metro sign was not immediately noticed and went out onto the street, where there are no metro signs at all (S-bahn).
