No need to go on vacation to Abkhazia! The service is terrible, or rather there is no service. It starts already when passing the border with Abkhazia, where crowds of people, people are forced to get out of buses with suitcases in the pouring rain. A separate bold minus of the Tui company. Our flight from Moscow was at 3:30, we arrived at the hotel around 9:00, and sat at the hotel reception until 14:00. No one cares that we did not sleep all night (including a child and an elderly woman), this is probably the usual practice of the hotel. To be precise, we have been on the road for 16 hours and waiting for a hotel room. I don't know about the further service, but this alone is already causing persistent disgust. In general, I strongly advise against holidays in Abkhazia and the Aquamarine hotel. All the positive reviews are far-fetched.

When the hotel first opened, it was very beautiful. Let the furniture be from IKEA, let there be a film in the pool, not tiles... But the food is monotonous and tasteless, the reception service is very unfriendly.
Plus, it's a bar on the beach, but it can easily live without a hotel.

I am vacationing in Abkhazia for the first time and I am impressed by the nature of this country and the Aquamarine hotel!))) We are currently vacationing with our family (husband, wife, child 4 years old) at Aquamarine hotels in Gagra! We arrived early in the morning, at 7 o'clock, we checked in from 14 o'clock, we were issued, everything was explained and everything was shown (they said they would have checked in earlier if there were free rooms, but the hotel was full), we left our suitcases in a special room
and all this time we were on the territory of the hotel, swimming at the sea and in the pool, enjoying the beauty of the mountains and the sea air. Then at 8 o'clock we went to breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of buffet and delicious cooking, then lunch was just as delicious!At 13.50 we were settled into a beautiful Deluxe room with mountain views, the room is very comfortable, modern, spacious with a balcony, a two-seater bed for a child is very spacious, and a huge bed for my husband and me. They brought red dry homemade wine to the room and treated it! 👍😁 The room has everything you need (TV, safe, hair dryer, toothbrushes, paste, cotton pads, cotton buds, soap, shampoo, shower gel, terry slippers and small slippers for a child (very pleased), as well as a kettle (green tea, black, sugar) bottled water, all this they are replenished daily when cleaning the room. Daily cleaning, change of linen and towels 1 time in 3 days, I want to say thank you very much to the staff for the cleanliness in our rooms!The hotel itself is modern, new, clean and bright, there is a children's room, animators (you can see that they are constantly engaged with the kids), a children's disco, a foam disco (by the way, we are waiting for today))) At the entrance to the dining room there is a list with the program for the day. There is also entertainment for adults, volleyball, water games. In cloudy weather or when there are strong waves at sea, it is pleasant to swim in a warm pool outside, this is a big plus for those with children. The pool is open until 22, it's also great to swim in the evening. 👍Everything is very tasty and varied in nutrition, the child eats everything with pleasure and says - Mom is sooo delicious! 😀 Says 10 points to the Chef))) So please give the Chef 10 points out of 10 from Alyosha))) I will not list everything from food, I will say one thing - high-quality products, not fatty, there are dietary, varied and delicious!Homemade wine (red, white) is also poured for dinner. I would like to say thank you to the girls in the dining room, the tables are always clean, you will not have time to set aside an empty plate, they will already take it away, wipe it, all with a smile and kindness.The beach is the first line, very cool, sun beds and umbrellas are available for guests, as well as beach towels. There is a bar on the beach, discos are held every evening))) We really enjoy our vacation, thank you very much to all the staff and management of the Aquamarine Hotel! P.S. A great place to relax with children. Helpful, good-natured staff. The food is at a height. The rooms are cozy and always clean. And the hotel itself is always clean. The sea is close. The music from the neighboring cafes did not bother us at all. I plan to come here next year as well.

With this hotel, our understanding of holidays in Abkhazia has changed. High level of service, good cuisine, animation, first line to the sea, private beach - this is the first thing that pleasantly surprises. We rest for 3 days with the children, we are absolutely delighted!
Take only swimsuits and hats with you. The rooms have everything, slippers, towels, bathrobes, toothbrushes .... Alcohol prices are affordable. Children are always interested in animation. Generally a buzz. Abkhazia in a new format!

Everything is fine if you do not go outside the territory, and there is complete sanitation: garbage is everywhere / the stench is terrible as in a garbage dump, Abkhazians are solid cattle, they are rude to any question. I had to constantly put them in place. I'm not going to Abkhazia anymore...

We arrived for a day, everything is in excellent condition, very pleasant service that goes very well with the atmosphere of the hotel. Good repair in the rooms, heated swimming pool, good location of the hotel (but this is both a plus and a minus, since it is very difficult to find the way to the hotel), delicious breakfast and everything else left only positive feelings from the hotel!
