The airport is clean, not too big, there are very few establishments. Huge disadvantage ( wifi does not work at all , even by cab you can not leave if you do not have Roaming or no local sim card or cash to buy a sim card at the airport ) . The business lounge at this airport is not worth the money .
I recently had a chance to visit Astana International Airport, and I was very pleased with my experience. The airport turned out to be clean, spacious and well organized. The modern design and high-quality design of the space immediately catches the eye.
Special attention should be paid to the waiting area. It is very comfortable and comfortable. There are upholstered chairs, free Wi-Fi, sockets for charging gadgets, as well as cafes and shops. This is the perfect place to pass the time before departure.
I was also impressed by the cleanliness and order at the airport. The staff was very polite and attentive, always ready to help with any questions or concerns.
Separately, it is worth noting the quality of service at the airport. All processes were organized efficiently and without unnecessary delays. The passage of security and passport control was quick and without problems.
Overall, I was very pleased with my visit to Astana International Airport. This is a place where you can feel comfortable and confident before departure. I recommend it to visit!
Everything is fine, the airport is not big, but everything is at hand. On the second floor there is an excellent dining room with affordable prices and healthy and delicious natural food.
I also like the French coffee shop on the second floor and pancakes with different fillings, I take Philadelphia)) It's very tasty.
There is also idiocy, if liquids are taken from your hand bag at 3 a.m., then they can only be taken back during business hours. There is absolutely no logic!!!
It is a pity that the hotel cannot be booked by the hour. It's not comfortable, but it's expensive. If you go very close, you can find much cheaper and more decent ones.
The terminal building looks stylish, with elements of national flavor, which immediately creates a special atmosphere. I was pleased with the clear organization of all processes: registration, screening and boarding are quick and hassle-free. The staff is polite and ready to help with any questions. The waiting area has everything you need: comfortable armchairs, a cafe with a varied menu and free Wi-Fi. Special thanks for the cleanliness — it's really nice to be here. Comfortable conditions are provided for transit passengers. The airport leaves a feeling of comfort and reliability, which makes every trip even more enjoyable. I will come back here again with pleasure!
The airport surprises with its modernity and elegant design. Spacious terminals, comfortable waiting areas and clear navigation make the trip enjoyable.
The security service works quickly and efficiently, which makes the travel process more comfortable.
Cafes and shops offer a variety of services and goods, meeting the demand of even the most demanding passengers.
The support service and the airport staff are always ready to help, which ensures excellent service at all levels.
A beautiful and modern airport...
beautiful..clear..comfortably..plenty of seating for passengers.
On the 2nd floor of terminal T2..excellent dining and delicious and really not expensive (considering that this is an airport)
One disadvantage ...This is the baggage claim conveyor belt...The ribbon is raised high and the suitcases just fall over..suitcases deteriorate and the wheels on them fly off...sadly
The airport is quite large, it has all the necessary facilities and services. The staff is polite and attentive, always ready to help. Prices for services and shops at the airport are reasonable. However, there are some problems with navigation and information signs, sometimes it is difficult to figure out how to get to the desired terminal or boarding gate. I would also like to see more variety in shops and restaurants. Overall, the airport leaves a positive impression, but there are some points that could be improved.
There are not many people, the airport is relatively large, there are places to sit and lie down on the 2nd floor, the capsule hotel is expensive, you can eat cheaply at the opposite end of the building, at the end of the airport local lines. There's a minimarket with fast food and coffee and tea. And if you go outside from the minimarket and go through the next door, there's a cafe where alcohol is served. The prices for the airport are quite reasonable.
The international airport is always the first step on a journey, and there is a high level of service here! Spacious halls, comfortable waiting areas and friendly staff. The registration and screening process is fast and stress-free. It is very convenient that there are many cafes, shops and places to relax. Overall, it's a great airport with modern facilities, which makes the start of the trip comfortable!✈️🌍
Compact airport, close to the city. By Yandex taxi to the center 400-500 rubles. The staff is attentive to their work at all stages of control, while they are very friendly. The exchange rate of rubles to tenge (we arrived at dawn, changed a little in one who worked) unexpectedly turned out to be only slightly worse than in the bank at Bayterek and much better than in Khan Shatyr. Everything is clean. Wi-Fi can be obtained in cafes, provided that you buy at least something from them.
It's a great airport. Modern terminals, spacious waiting rooms, many cafes and shops, free Wi-Fi. The staff is always ready to help and answer questions. Convenient location, good transport accessibility. Security is at a high level. I recommend it!
Wow, Shymkent Airport! It's not just a hub, it's a gateway to an exciting world of adventure and tradition. As soon as I entered the terminal, I was immediately surrounded by an atmosphere of hospitality and local flavor.
The interior of the airport impresses with its bright colors and stylish design, combining elements of Kazakh culture and modern architecture. Spacious halls, comfortable waiting areas and impeccable cleanliness create comfortable conditions for passengers.
The airport staff deserves special praise. Polite and helpful staff are doing everything possible to make your flight as smooth as possible. I especially remember their attention to detail and caring for passengers.
Waiting for a flight becomes a pleasant pastime thanks to a variety of shops and restaurants offering local and international cuisine. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and traditional dishes immediately lifts the mood.
The high level of service and modern technologies make the registration and security control process fast and efficient. Wi-Fi throughout the airport works perfectly, which allows you to stay connected and not waste time.
Easy navigation around the airport, there are signs everywhere. Lots of escalators. The restrooms are clean and odorless. There are enough catering outlets to find something of your own. Duty free is not bad either, there are a lot of local products. I collected sweets for all my relatives.
And the most convenient thing is that there are chairs in the waiting room and you can lie on them. They are literally for sleeping. In general, the airport is excellent.
Astana Airport is divided into two separate buildings connected to each other. This is an international airport and local airlines. The airport is relatively small, but modern and quite comfortable. There is ample Parking nearby, there is a closed parking lot to park the car during the trip. The airport is located near the city, 15 minutes by taxi to the Expo, half an hour to the center. When the construction of the LRT is completed, it will be possible to get to the city by train.
Astana International Airport, also known as Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport, is an important transport hub in Kazakhstan and impresses with its modernity and functionality.
The first thing that catches your eye is the stylish and modern design of the terminals. The airport's architecture reflects the spirit of the country and creates a pleasant first impression for passengers. Spacious waiting rooms and comfortable seating areas make waiting time more comfortable.
The airport staff is polite and professional, ready to help with any questions. Check-in for flights is quick and without delays, and the navigation system is intuitive enough to make it easier to navigate at the airport.
Passengers can enjoy a variety of shops and cafes where they can have a snack or buy souvenirs. It is also worth noting the availability of free Wi-Fi, which allows you to stay connected while waiting for a flight.
However, as at any major airport, queues can occur during rush hours, especially for security control. In general, Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport leaves a positive impression and is a good starting point for traveling in Kazakhstan and beyond.
The airport is modern and has an interesting design. The interior is nice, clean and there are plenty of places to wait. All necessary services are available. The staff is polite, if you have any questions, they explain everything. We had a delicious and satisfying meal before departure.
The airport in Astana is small. It is similar in content to a provincial airport in Russia. Everything is clean, cozy and at a minimum. There is an inexpensive cafe with delicious food on the second floor. The waiting room is small, but there is no crowd. Among the disadvantages, there is no Wi-fi distribution and there are no charging places for phones.
I like our airport with its beautiful modern design, everything is clean and comfortable inside, cozy waiting rooms and conditions for a comfortable stay while waiting for a flight, the dining room is relatively inexpensive. I like our airport
Clean, spacious, nice, free. There are comfortable chairs in the waiting room where you can relax, wait for the flight to board, and on the second floor there is a sooo wonderful cafe where I ate. And even a very decent Dutch fry.
I recommend flying
A beautiful, modern, large airport. Clean, comfortable. It's nice to be here. The disadvantages are in the details. We found the reception desk. Our flight is at three. The queue is slow. Some passengers are asked to move to another counter. We're moving on. But it turned out that the previous queue was standing "nowhere": the counter does not accept passengers, it is closed. Passengers from an unattended queue are trying to squeeze into the next one, noise, screams. No one from the airport administration began to solve this problem.
You also need to fill out migration cards, there are no explanations, samples, ...
Everything doesn't seem to be bad at the airport, but there is no additional attention to passengers, to solving their problems.
I was surprised by Astana airport, firstly, there is no pandemonium, the check-in counters are conveniently located, the cafes are cozy, the prices are acceptable, especially the Zhibek shoot canteen, a large assortment, delicious pastries and drinks, normal prices
A cozy and comfortable airport, there is a cafe, a waiting area, souvenir shops, a smoking area with excellent ventilation. There is an exchange office, which is quite convenient. Friendly staff.
A modern, stylish, comfortable air harbor.
When you enter the airport, there are no frames for screening, security guards for baggage screening, and that's very nice.
You come to visit, they trust you, they place their hospitality at your disposal.
If you arrived by car, there is no reason to worry. There are steam rooms for every taste)). Hidden, open, paid, free.
Personally, I put my Prado in free parking for 12 days. He took it safely.
Airport 👍👍👍 and flight prices are much lower than from Russian airports
Compact terminal for domestic flights. Registration and control is fast. There is plenty of space in the waiting room. A good choice of cafes. Gates with teletraps. It's clean everywhere. There is a smoking room. Free Wi-fi
It is quite a comfortable airport.
It is not always clear what the announcer is announcing, especially on the second floor. As it is, everything is fine.
It was "normal" until 12/13/2024.
Upon arrival at the airport in the morning from another city, I found out that the flight to Ekb was postponed from 12.50 to 16.05.
After a long wait, after checking in, I went to the waiting room. The plane landed in Astana (I tracked it in the app and saw it through the window).
Half an hour later, I noticed that my flight had simply disappeared from the information board. During this time, there was one announcement in the hall, in which it was impossible to make out a single word.
I asked the staff in the inspection area (there are no others in the hall) what happened to the flight and why it disappeared from the scoreboard, and received the answer: "If it is not on the scoreboard, it flew away." I.e. the plane for which I bought a ticket in a month, which was postponed first for two days, then for four more An hour, just flew away 🤷♂️
By persuasion, I got one of the employees to try to find out what was going on...
it turned out that boarding had begun.
I have three questions.
Is it possible to teach a person to announce in a way that is understood by the passengers for whom he does it?
Is it possible to teach employees to treat their duties professionally?
And this is definitely an international airport?
You can always eat delicious and relatively inexpensive food! Spacious, almost everything is clear!) clean restrooms. Clear and clear sound when announcing registrations and other things. The disadvantages are very expensive storage rooms. Well, they are very expensive and never flexible. I often fly in transit. And in the break between flights, I want to check in my luggage and not have a lot of rest. But alas, it's expensive and you have to carry a suitcase or something around the airport
