The airport is clean, not too big, there are very few establishments. Huge disadvantage ( wifi does not work at all , even by cab you can not leave if you do not have Roaming or no local sim card or cash to buy a sim card at the airport ) . The business lounge at this airport is not worth the money .
I recently had a chance to visit Astana International Airport, and I was very pleased with my experience. The airport turned out to be clean, spacious and well organized. The modern design and high-quality design of the space immediately catches the eye.
Special attention should be paid to the waiting area. It is very comfortable and comfortable. There are upholstered chairs, free Wi-Fi, sockets for charging gadgets, as well as cafes and shops. This is the perfect place to pass the time before departure.
I was also impressed by the cleanliness and order at the airport. The staff was very polite and attentive, always ready to help with any questions or concerns.
Separately, it is worth noting the quality of service at the airport. All processes were organized efficiently and without unnecessary delays. The passage of security and passport control was quick and without problems.
Overall, I was very pleased with my visit to Astana International Airport. This is a place where you can feel comfortable and confident before departure. I recommend it to visit!
Excellent airport, we got from the center of Astana in 20 minutes by taxi! Everything inside is modern, clean, cozy, with the scale inherent in the capital, but at the same time, it is very compact and somehow intuitive! We were pleased with the cafe in the waiting room, the coffee was very decent and the fish in the sandwiches was fresh! In general, I really liked it, I must say that this was the first time this year! I'll be back!
You can always eat delicious and relatively inexpensive food! Spacious, almost everything is clear!) clean restrooms. Clear and clear sound when announcing registrations and other things. The disadvantages are very expensive storage rooms. Well, they are very expensive and never flexible. I often fly in transit. And in the break between flights, I want to check in my luggage and not have a lot of rest. But alas, it's expensive and you have to carry a suitcase or something around the airport
The airport is small. As in many Russian (and foreign) cities, they are not megacities. The waiting area is super small. There are several cafes. The staff, well, are very slow. This applies to both the staff of the cafe, the reception desk, and the security service. The situation was like this - someone left a wallet on the seat in the arrivals area, which was noticed by airport employees. To our surprise, instead of picking up the find and somehow finding the owner (speakerphone or take it to the table of finds) the employees just started talking and figuring out who should take care of the wallet and what to do with it in general. This went on for about 30 minutes. The further fate of the wallet is not known, but when we left the airport, it was still lying where we found it.
Astana International Airport, located in the heart of Kazakhstan, has become the most important transport hub connecting countries and continents. Its modern architecture is impressive, and the convenient passenger terminals provide the most comfortable conditions for travelers.
The airport was built taking into account all international standards, which allows it to accept various types of airliners and guarantee a high level of security. Highly qualified staff is ready to help at any time, providing unique service and attentive attitude to each passenger.
car rental, duty-free shops and cozy cafes create a unique atmosphere for waiting for a flight. In addition, the airport is actively developing its route network, which opens up new horizons for tourists and businesses. The terminals are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi and recreation areas, which makes it possible to relax before a long flight.
In general, Astana International Airport is not just a transport hub, but a place where cultures meet and new beginnings take place. Each visit leaves positive memories, emphasizing the importance of this strategic facility for the country and the world as a whole.
At Astana airport, I had to contact the airport staff more than once, it was very pleasant how politely and intelligibly everything was explained to me. The airport and the grounds were very clean. The waiting rooms themselves are convenient for us passengers, the aircraft waiting areas are very accessible and understandable. It's great that there are boutiques inside the waiting room, because while waiting for the plane, I could drink coffee and have a snack.. The airport parking is the largest than in other cities of Kazakhstan, convenient and clean. The terminals are also convenient for passengers, everything was clear and clean. It was very pleasant to be at the Airport before waiting for your plane. I would like to wish you prosperity and professionalism in your work.
The airport is beautiful and clean. But there are shortcomings. One of the big ones is where is the guest wifi? There are some kind of several networks with incomprehensible non-obvious names and you can not log in to both in any way, they drive thousands of captchas around in a circle to then write oh, a mistake. The second point is the charging sockets. They just don't exist, if you find a lone outlet, then it's not a fact that it works. People occupied sockets in the long corridor leading to the toilet, apparently sockets for cleaning equipment. That is, you go to the bathroom and the phones of the departing ones are on the floor. This is not the level of an international airport. Improvements are needed.
Duty free is one name, the prices are terrible. A bottle of water for 2 euros? Water is important, but here is speculation. If the flight departs later, they simply change the departure time, they do not inform about the reasons. If any announcements are made over the speakerphone, then this is illegibility, as in trains in the 90s. Not a word is unclear.
A good airport with a quiet mode, all information is on information boards, there are capsules at the excellent hotel, a huge parking lot for cars, it is fashionable to leave cars for a long time, everything is under cameras and security, payment at check-out in tenge through ATMs (which sometimes do not work and this creates a certain problem). Parking has become very expensive since 2023. If in 2022 we gave about 2 thousand in Russian rubles in 15 days, then in 2023 about 10 thousand (calculate in advance the cost of paying for parking so that it does not become an unpleasant surprise for you upon arrival from vacation).
A new terminal, more space, spacious, there is a dutifrey. Clean toilets. Quick inspection and registration. There are, however, few waiting seats at the entrance. There are many check-in counters. Postomats work only by card, you can buy cash only in food pavilions. There is no inspection at the entrance from the word at all, the entrance is free. There is a blood pressure monitor for free, for measuring blood pressure for those in need. The staff is friendly enough
Everything is more or less fine. Clean, the staff are polite, they will always help.
The only but huge disadvantage is the prices in the departure area. They are simply cosmic!!!It is completely unclear why this issue has not been taken under control by our valiant antimonopoly committee. They take advantage of the fact that people do not have the opportunity to get into stores with normal prices and absolutely shamelessly wind up 500% on their products.
A nice clean airport with clear navigation inside the building. Bright modern architecture. There are business halls, duty free.
Everything is decent in the business hall too. A small but comfortable space for waiting for a flight.
There is a cafe and bistro on the third floor.
A spacious airport. The toilets are clean, there is a duty free, where the Red by DUFRY card is valid. There is a very convenient exit where you can easily get into a taxi. I recommend buying a SIM card at the exit, changing some money at the exchange point and using Yandex.Taxi (it works in Kazakhstan as well as in the Russian Federation, but you have to pay in cash, my Russian card did not work). On the way back, you can have a snack in a cafe, a beer bar (3rd floor).
A good big metropolitan airport. Pretty clean. There are many places to wait for flights. There is an inexpensive dining room, a small supermarket, a bookstore (expensive). For some flights, you can only check in at the self-service counters, you need a foreign card. The MIR card is not accepted anywhere.
Compact airport, close to the city. By Yandex taxi to the center 400-500 rubles. The staff is attentive to their work at all stages of control, while they are very friendly. The exchange rate of rubles to tenge (we arrived at dawn, changed a little in one who worked) unexpectedly turned out to be only slightly worse than in the bank at Bayterek and much better than in Khan Shatyr. Everything is clean. Wi-Fi can be obtained in cafes, provided that you buy at least something from them.
Modern equipment, good transport links (bus stop near the entrance to the building), large Parking lot. The airport itself is quite compact, which is convenient in its own way, you do not need to search for a gate through the labyrinths for half an hour. And in general, navigation is carried out at the international level. Everything is intuitive.
As I wrote earlier, the airport in Astana is very logical, which is very pleasing. There is an inexpensive dining room on the second floor, the food is delicious. There is a shop on the ground floor under the dining room, the prices are adequate. There is a pharmacy, currency exchange, and you can buy a SIM card at the airport. There are ATMs. One disadvantage is that they do not sell transport cards. You can't leave by bus, you can't pay in cash on the bus.
Astana Airport is divided into two separate buildings connected to each other. This is an international airport and local airlines. The airport is relatively small, but modern and quite comfortable. There is ample Parking nearby, there is a closed parking lot to park the car during the trip. The airport is located near the city, 15 minutes by taxi to the Expo, half an hour to the center. When the construction of the LRT is completed, it will be possible to get to the city by train.
Clean, tidy, friendly staff. But, there are two BUT: 1) free access to the airport, inspection ONLY on the second floor, in front of the waiting area (they threw out a tourist folding blunt knife- 4 cm and an aluminum fork- well, God help them, although I arrived with the same set). But ANYONE can enter the airport building with ANY bag. About security and ter. The acts here obviously didn't hear anything.
2) boarding the plane directly. It's a complete madhouse. Imagine: there are a lot of people, two flights: one at 21-00, the other at 21-05, respectively, two exits located at a distance of 10 meters from each other (once again- there are a lot of people), two buses come up and pick up some passengers (where the bus goes and whether it is on the same flight, it is not clear), running employees with square with eyes that don't understand themselves who to put where. So ONE bus ran back and forth until it transported everyone, well, as you know, the flight for 21-05, began to prepare for takeoff at 22 o'clock. And so that you understand, the people from the first bus humbly waited an hour for the rest of the party of people. In short, the organization is at the "highest" level. To say that I'm in shock is to say nothing. 🤷
The airport in Astana is small. It is similar in content to a provincial airport in Russia. Everything is clean, cozy and at a minimum. There is an inexpensive cafe with delicious food on the second floor. The waiting room is small, but there is no crowd. Among the disadvantages, there is no Wi-fi distribution and there are no charging places for phones.
The airport was pleasantly surprised. Covered, warm Parking for cars - 35,000 tenge came out for 11 days, payments in various ways at terminals, we paid in cash (we need any Kazakh number for delivery). There is an exit from the parking lot directly to the terminal.
The international terminal is spacious, cozy and comfortable.
I was pleased with the business room - the restaurant's soft interior with comfortable armchairs / sofas / tables. Dimmed lights. There are two children's corners. Not typical dishes for a business lounge, there are 3 types of beer and wine.
A gorgeous airport
Everything is very convenient for passengers
There are a lot of seats, they are comfortable
The entrances are gorgeous
The 10th bus gave you a convenient ride
Taxi drivers are civilly waiting in line for customers
2gis conveniently helps you around the city of Astana
The announcers at the Airport can be clearly heard - without interference
In general, the airport for domestic flights in Astana is cooler than in Almaty.
A very good airport!
Everything is clean and cozy inside.
There is a place where you can eat and drink tea or coffee.
The toilets are clean.
It's average in size, if there are a lot of people, it's cramped.
In a word, I recommend it to everyone!!!
The convenient location can be reached by public transport or taxi. Yandex taxi to help. There is a dining room, an inexpensive store where you can buy coffee and pastries, luggage storage, but what is not there is a hotel on the territory of the airport (a capsule hotel does not always have places). Sometimes there are 12 or more hours between flights and the flights are long.
Everything is very convenient! It's great that the second terminal has a shop at reasonable prices.
Special thanks to the employee of the AirAstana company, who herself offered a place at the emergency exit on the plane! I do not know the name, but I am sure that all the employees of this airline are so responsive!
The air harbor of Astana. The international airport. Two passenger terminals. Good transport accessibility. 16 km from the city. There is public transport. Buses No. 10, No. 12, No. 100. It is bright and spacious inside. Currency exchange office, cafes, duty-free shops, local souvenirs. The scoreboard has information in Russian.
A very convenient, modern airport. It is very clean, the staff is responsive, the waiting rooms are comfortable. There are many places for snacks where you can pass the waiting time before the flight . The parking lot is large.
A modern, stylish, comfortable air harbor.
When you enter the airport, there are no frames for screening, security guards for baggage screening, and that's very nice.
You come to visit, they trust you, they place their hospitality at your disposal.
If you arrived by car, there is no reason to worry. There are steam rooms for every taste)). Hidden, open, paid, free.
Personally, I put my Prado in free parking for 12 days. He took it safely.
Airport 👍👍👍 and flight prices are much lower than from Russian airports
A modern cool airport equipped with all available automation tools. But! all invested investments are broken down by non-working processes and non-functioning equipment: the impression is that they "forgot to issue instructions" from a cool airport)))
Examples:
1) the information about the landing time is organized ugly! We stood for 2 hours waiting for the landing on Moscow. At the same time, boarding has not yet begun in fact, but on the scoreboard right at the exit there is information that boarding the flight has ended
2) the name on the infotable at the boarding gates on the ground floor was confused (Aug 3, 2024, ~10:00): the exit to Batumi corresponded to the departure to Doha, and the inscription Perm meant departure to Batumi
3) the cancellation and postponement of the flight from 08/02/25 to Moscow (it seems to be an ordinary event, especially for a veteran Aeroflot) turned out to be a complete shock for the local team
It is a very interesting airport. You won't hear the usual ads here. Everything is quiet and calmly displayed on the scoreboard. This is a quiet airport. Here you can drink the most delicious hot chocolate from the vending machines. There are ATMs and exchangers of various currencies. There are storage rooms and rest rooms. Polite staff. Clear. The only thing that is not thought out is that it is cold at night at the airport because of the air conditioners. Overall, it is a very good airport.
It is quite a comfortable airport.
It is not always clear what the announcer is announcing, especially on the second floor. As it is, everything is fine.
It was "normal" until 12/13/2024.
Upon arrival at the airport in the morning from another city, I found out that the flight to Ekb was postponed from 12.50 to 16.05.
After a long wait, after checking in, I went to the waiting room. The plane landed in Astana (I tracked it in the app and saw it through the window).
Half an hour later, I noticed that my flight had simply disappeared from the information board. During this time, there was one announcement in the hall, in which it was impossible to make out a single word.
I asked the staff in the inspection area (there are no others in the hall) what happened to the flight and why it disappeared from the scoreboard, and received the answer: "If it is not on the scoreboard, it flew away." I.e. the plane for which I bought a ticket in a month, which was postponed first for two days, then for four more An hour, just flew away 🤷♂️
By persuasion, I got one of the employees to try to find out what was going on...
it turned out that boarding had begun.
I have three questions.
Is it possible to teach a person to announce in a way that is understood by the passengers for whom he does it?
Is it possible to teach employees to treat their duties professionally?
And this is definitely an international airport?
