I love Astana Airport, it's small and manageable. The national side can be a little chaotic but never as bad as Almaty. Very neat place!

The airport is clean, not too big, there are very few establishments. Huge disadvantage ( wifi does not work at all , even by cab you can not leave if you do not have Roaming or no local sim card or cash to buy a sim card at the airport ) . The business lounge at this airport is not worth the money .

I recently had a chance to visit Astana International Airport, and I was very pleased with my experience. The airport turned out to be clean, spacious and well organized. The modern design and high-quality design of the space immediately catches the eye.

Everything is fine, the airport is not big, but everything is at hand. On the second floor there is an excellent dining room with affordable prices and healthy and delicious natural food.
I also like the French coffee shop on the second floor and pancakes with different fillings, I take Philadelphia)) It's very tasty.
There is also idiocy, if liquids are taken from your hand bag at 3 a.m., then they can only be taken back during business hours. There is absolutely no logic!!!
It is a pity that the hotel cannot be booked by the hour. It's not comfortable, but it's expensive. If you go very close, you can find much cheaper and more decent ones.

beautiful..clear..comfortably..plenty of seating for passengers.
On the 2nd floor of terminal T2..excellent dining and delicious and really not expensive (considering that this is an airport)
One disadvantage ...This is the baggage claim conveyor belt...The ribbon is raised high and the suitcases just fall over..suitcases deteriorate and the wheels on them fly off...sadly

There are not many people, the airport is relatively large, there are places to sit and lie down on the 2nd floor, the capsule hotel is expensive, you can eat cheaply at the opposite end of the building, at the end of the airport local lines. There's a minimarket with fast food and coffee and tea. And if you go outside from the minimarket and go through the next door, there's a cafe where alcohol is served. The prices for the airport are quite reasonable.

Compact airport, close to the city. By Yandex taxi to the center 400-500 rubles. The staff is attentive to their work at all stages of control, while they are very friendly. The exchange rate of rubles to tenge (we arrived at dawn, changed a little in one who worked) unexpectedly turned out to be only slightly worse than in the bank at Bayterek and much better than in Khan Shatyr. Everything is clean. Wi-Fi can be obtained in cafes, provided that you buy at least something from them.

Easy navigation around the airport, there are signs everywhere. Lots of escalators. The restrooms are clean and odorless. There are enough catering outlets to find something of your own. Duty free is not bad either, there are a lot of local products. I collected sweets for all my relatives.
And the most convenient thing is that there are chairs in the waiting room and you can lie on them. They are literally for sleeping. In general, the airport is excellent.

Astana Airport is divided into two separate buildings connected to each other. This is an international airport and local airlines. The airport is relatively small, but modern and quite comfortable. There is ample Parking nearby, there is a closed parking lot to park the car during the trip. The airport is located near the city, 15 minutes by taxi to the Expo, half an hour to the center. When the construction of the LRT is completed, it will be possible to get to the city by train.

The airport in Astana is small. It is similar in content to a provincial airport in Russia. Everything is clean, cozy and at a minimum. There is an inexpensive cafe with delicious food on the second floor. The waiting room is small, but there is no crowd. Among the disadvantages, there is no Wi-fi distribution and there are no charging places for phones.

A beautiful, modern, large airport. Clean, comfortable. It's nice to be here. The disadvantages are in the details. We found the reception desk. Our flight is at three. The queue is slow. Some passengers are asked to move to another counter. We're moving on. But it turned out that the previous queue was standing "nowhere": the counter does not accept passengers, it is closed. Passengers from an unattended queue are trying to squeeze into the next one, noise, screams. No one from the airport administration began to solve this problem.
You also need to fill out migration cards, there are no explanations, samples, ...
Everything doesn't seem to be bad at the airport, but there is no additional attention to passengers, to solving their problems.

Personally, I put my Prado in free parking for 12 days. He took it safely.

It is quite a comfortable airport.
It is not always clear what the announcer is announcing, especially on the second floor. As it is, everything is fine.
It was "normal" until 12/13/2024.
Upon arrival at the airport in the morning from another city, I found out that the flight to Ekb was postponed from 12.50 to 16.05.
After a long wait, after checking in, I went to the waiting room. The plane landed in Astana (I tracked it in the app and saw it through the window).
Half an hour later, I noticed that my flight had simply disappeared from the information board. During this time, there was one announcement in the hall, in which it was impossible to make out a single word.
I asked the staff in the inspection area (there are no others in the hall) what happened to the flight and why it disappeared from the scoreboard, and received the answer: "If it is not on the scoreboard, it flew away." I.e. the plane for which I bought a ticket in a month, which was postponed first for two days, then for four more An hour, just flew away 🤷♂️
By persuasion, I got one of the employees to try to find out what was going on...
it turned out that boarding had begun.
I have three questions.
Is it possible to teach a person to announce in a way that is understood by the passengers for whom he does it?
Is it possible to teach employees to treat their duties professionally?
And this is definitely an international airport?
