There are practically no queues, which is surprising after Sheremetyevo)) a minimum of waiting for passport control, no one finds fault, clean, there is duty free, where there is a good selection of flavors (I found many of my favorites). Parking is right at the entrance to the terminal, without traffic jams.
It's a very beautiful airport. The people are welcoming and friendly. There were no problems with border control. Currency exchange offices are located nearby. They quickly issue local SIM cards.
This is a normal airport.. There is an exchanger for money.. Everything is OK, but I was on the gallop.. And after Sheremetyevo, of course, it is difficult to assess. Well, after the New Urengoy.. Where it is no longer necessary to ride buses on boarding and everything is based on style, on design.. It's a good airport. Maybe I didn't notice something, I was in my business.
It is as comfortable as possible, there are many seats and reclining seats for people waiting for a transit aircraft for a long time. There are massage chairs available, next to which you can recharge your smartphone. Clean bathroom. Friendly staff. The waiting rooms have several electronic information boards.
I found only one negative, the gate number for departure was changed and it was not announced over the speakerphone, but the information was posted on the electronic scoreboard. The airport is great!
Everything is available, both taxis and minibuses, there is a place to eat delicious food. Very kind people work here!Nursultan Airport is one of the best airports in the entire CIS!
An excellent airport for such a city. Friendly staff. Comfortable chairs, it is always nice to be there on departure and arrival, as well as to meet guests.

A good, modern airport. Everything is clean, friendly staff. Prices in all cafes are adequate, you can have a delicious and inexpensive meal. Excellent navigation will not allow you to get lost) Inexpensive Parking for cars, but we had difficulties with payment, we had to seek help from police officers. They were super responsive and helped us figure it out.
The airport is clean, comfortable, with good design - I really liked it. Everything works catostrophically slowly. At about the same time, in the interval of 1 hour, two international flights took off: Moscow, Istanbul, and, in my opinion, Stockholm, or some other, but definitely a city in a Scandinavian European country and a collapse began at the airport. I had to stand in line at passport control for about 1 hour or 1.5 hours. Then through the control frames and the luggage belt for about 1 more hour. At the same time, out of 5 or 6 available tapes, only two worked. And a female airport employee, trying to speed up the process of packing hand luggage suitcases and bags, quickly pulled out on the tape so as not to delay passengers who were late for boarding, I asked why are you alone? Why do you have only 2 tapes working at the peak (as far as I understand 3 planes at about the same time is the peak) of the airport, while Its appearance was very tired.... She replied that she and her colleagues had repeatedly asked to increase the number of staff so that there would be no queues and to work more comfortably, but their management did not hear them. She asked me to write about it as a passenger on the official website.
I'm writing here. Please look at the work of your staff when several flights depart at the same time and analyze this situation, maybe it's worth changing something....
The airport is terrible, the capacity of the passport control is terrible, the wait is more than 30 minutes. On the 3rd floor, there is a VIP waiting room , you can have a great time, a good menu, imported drinks, excellent staff.
Everything is convenient and fast.
After the scale of Moscow's airports, it seems very compact.
Russians are not particularly picky, customs both on arrival and on departure clarifies the purpose of the trip and quickly lets them through.
Due to the fact that repairs are underway, there were inconveniences during the flight. The first flight was delayed by 3 hours, we arrived at the airport 4 hours before departure, because we do not live in Astana. And it was at 3 a.m. and there was still a delay. And then we couldn't find the departure terminal, everyone who took off on our flight went from one exit to the other, no one could tell us where to expect departure. Upon landing, the pilot apologized for the flight delay, but this is our vacation time, which we paid for. Half a day down the drain . Hurtful. There are almost no complaints about cleanliness. The smell of paint, okay, that's the cost of repairs. But if you wait an extra 3 hours, it's annoying. In general, the airport looks decent compared to others. But the sediment remained
The airport is new, clean and cozy. On domestic flights, there is a long queue for inspection. Self-registration is also offered at special terminals, which is not very convenient.
It's a good airport. There are separate registration exits for those with children. Clean and tidy. There are counters for online registration. Friendly staff.
A beautiful and convenient airport. The staff is friendly. There are no signs of nationalism. A new terminal is being built. The road to the port is very picturesque. I recommend it to everyone.
I really liked it, the terminal is convenient, spacious, duty free is excellent, the exchange point is round the clock, but the capsule hotel is very small, there were not enough places.
I liked this airport. There is a lot of space, there are several good places where you can eat expensive)))
Convenient location of the departure hall, there is a smoking room, there are usually always enough chairs, the toilets are clean.
In comparison with Almaty airport, Astana airport is just the top!
A very cozy hotel!!! The staff is friendly and responsive, the rooms are clean, the waiting rooms are equipped with upholstered chairs, there is a cafe, you can charge your tablet or phone, Wi-Fi is free for guests. I recommend it to everyone!
everything is cool, personal, beautiful stewards, cool pilots, police modders, I will separately note the dogs of search engines, they are so smart, coffee machines do not all work, but everything is clean, everything is normal
Very high quality service. The airport is very clean. The airport itself looks very modern from the inside. General opinion: I really liked the airport and would like to come more often.
It's a good airport. The staff always helps, we constantly ask you to call a taxi at the information kiosk. Many thanks to the staff working there! Waiting rooms with comfortable chairs, there are always places. There is a place to eat and relax.
A very clear airport. I was here for the first time and figured out where everything was. You can buy a SIM card, change money and withdraw it from an ATM. By the way, I read that the exchange rate is not profitable. But it turned out to be a very good one. I realized this when I was looking for exchangers in the city. If I had known, I would have changed it at the airport. The SIM card cost 5,000 tenge or 1,000 rubles. Very convenient.
A very convenient and beautiful airport! There is a capsule hotel! Prices in local cafes are very affordable, and the people themselves in Kazakhstan are just wonderful.
The airport corresponds to my ideas of an international hub. Arrive in advance to check in for international flights, as the number of customs booths is limited and you can queue for more than an HOUR at peak times! This is the main disadvantage of the airport, passenger traffic has increased! And there are also 2-3 check-in counters for each flight, so there are often long queues. I am glad that the airport is bright and relatively compact with clear logistics.
A modern airport. Clean enough. There is an electronic passport control for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan. There is everything you need - shops, toilets, etc. Wi-Fi is weak.20-30 minutes to city facilities (if there are no traffic jams).
It's easy to build a palace in an open field. It is even easier to call this palace an "airport". It is very difficult to organize in this palace/to create a large "air harbor". A harbor that will be convenient for passengers. A harbor that will motivate carriers to be the best in their niche. It succeeded. The airport management turned out to be on top.
The airport is small, compact.
Everything is clean and tidy enough.
The main question for the security service, since there are few international flights, upon arrival you are surrounded by peasants with badges offering taxi services [don't be fooled, Yandex Taxi works fine and writes off payment from Russian cards without any problems].
There are ATMs in the passage between terminals 1 and 2. Pay attention to the Bereke ATMs (former BEAC), where you can withdraw money from the cards of the WORLD of unauthorized banks and Halyk - it works with UnionPay cards, again of unauthorized Russian banks.
Be careful, people will definitely stick to you with a request to call or they will tell tearful stories ("we are not local ourselves, we are behind the train" or the fat man will fill in that "I forgot my wallet in the taxi and can't leave") in order, of course, to beg for money.
I bred everything in the best traditions from the 90s and obviously all this is under the control of the local leadership and security))
Nevertheless, from the positive, there is a capsule hotel in the arrival area with the nicest administrator Jazira. There you can get some sleep after the morning Moscow flight.
Everything is fast and convenient in the departure area.
If there is access to the business lounge, then after the inspection, go to the left and go upstairs (there is no access to the second hall in the opposite part of the departure hall according to Aeroflot cards).
There you can safely charge your phone, work with fast WiFi and have a snack (I didn't take food, I won't say about the quality, but it looks normal, better than in Pulkovo))).
What I liked there is the yurt in the photo below)
I didn't really see the airport itself from the outside, but it was comfortable inside in transit. The staff were very polite and ready to help at any moment.
The capital's airport has become better in recent years, cafes have appeared in the international terminal and on domestic lines, where you can drink coffee and have a snack for adequate money while waiting for your flight, which is very pleasing.
Normal, without idiotic inspections at every turn. In the domestic departures terminal (lifehack) there is a store with prices almost like in an ordinary city supermarket.
And in the park near the parking lot there are empty benches in a calm atmosphere
It's a cool airport. Apparently the international terminal is not fully equipped yet. It seemed to me that there were few waiting places at the counters. And there is only one opportunity to drink coffee (I'm not talking about vending machines). But I'm being picky. In general, the airport is great, after checking in and going to the boarding gate there is a place to go. The prices for food and drinks are reasonable.
The airport is always clean, the staff is always polite from the entrance to boarding the plane. They always smile and look at their politeness and good mood. You always fly in a great mood ❤
Everything is fast, convenient, without queues. It's a pity that there is no way to book a place in the covered parking in advance, however, there have never been any problems with the parking lot either, they always found a place
Staff, waiting room. The information department politely and clearly explained everything to all questions. Of the disadvantages, the price of parking on the airport's website does not correspond to reality, and the difference is not small.
One of the most comfortable airports in Central Asia. Queues at the check-in desks, which are moving very slowly, are not the biggest nuisance. The main thing is to know about this feature and arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the flight. Wonderful shops and affordable (compared to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg ... And SO ON) catering points.
The place for charging phones is equipped with 4!!! sockets. What is this all about? Is it done for show? There were about a thousand people waiting for delayed flights. Wireless charging is only on the label, no one has been able to charge hundreds of people who have tried them through them.
The flight was delayed for 2.5 hours and no one announced it. It was further indicated that there was a landing, but the plane did not even arrive. Then the flight was removed from the schedule altogether and we just sat and waited. No information, no warning, nothing at all.
There are international and local terminals in the same building. The local has a good dining room. Plus there are a lot of different cafes on the territory. You can enter without undressing or changing clothes. There are many seating areas, there is even a quiet area. There is a capsule hotel. Convenient airport navigation. There is an average hotel at the end of the airport. But it can be booked for half a day (by the hour). The only disadvantage is that you cannot book it by phone or email. And through Booking, it often shows the lack of places, because he books for a day at once. Responsive staff. At my request, even a taxi was called at night.
By the way, the prices are cheaper than at our airports in Sochi or Tyumen. The airport itself is beautiful, everything is thought out inside, of course it may have coincided, but I did not see any standing or sitting on bags)) everyone had a place to wait for their flight.
Astana Airport has always been considered the largest not only in Kazakhstan, but also in Central Asia, and after the reconstruction of the expansion of not only the usable area of the premises, but also the runway itself, the airport has also become the most modern international hub...
Well done. No fuss, clean, comfortable.
The police work unnoticeably, they behave culturally, presenting themselves and showing their ID. Kazakhstan- my heart is with you!
It's a great airport. There is a place to rest while waiting for a long time (sleep capsule). Dutifrey. Budget parking spaces at the airport building.
It is not difficult to get there.
The airport is generally decent, there is a hotel nearby, half an hour by taxi to the city, use Yandex Taxi, Uber and other taxi aggregators, you can save your money. Currently, this airport can be considered as a hub for international destinations to Asia from the central part of Russia from Yekaterinburg to Chita, so as not to make a detour through Moscow. I recommend checking the routes with your travel agent, who can choose a competitive and optimal route for you through Astana. Astana is convenient and competitive. I recommend.
Everything is fine. I'm used to a lot of inspections at the entrance, but here everything is simple - I came and well done, the inspection is only in the boarding hall after check-in. Although, in our lives, it may not be very safe)))
I think there is no point in writing about the cost of cafes, etc. I liked the work of the staff, they explain everything, they work quickly, they are polite and correct in communication. I do not advise Flyaristan for carriers, it is better to choose Air Astana
