We were at the Balcony cafe for the first time three days ago. We ate very tasty. The modern interior, friendly and courteous staff, calm and not loud music, the atmosphere is pleasant and very relaxing. Before leaving home, we also went to the same cafe for a farewell dinner. We made a varied order from both national and European cuisine, served us quickly and everything was delicious! It's a good place! I wish you good luck and prosperity! It was interesting to watch a man who was engaged in cutting and baking boats-a real professional and master of his craft! Bravo!

It's not tasty. The music is dull and boring from the 70s and 80s, although there were great songs, but the DJ does not choose them at all. Arugula salad for 650rubles is actually Chinese cabbage, a little iceberg, and 7 arugula feathers - guys, are you serious??? In Moscow, you can find a better salad for this money ((( Beef in a salad is a cut piece of boiled meat, cold and hard. For the salad - a solid two. Kuchmach - on 4. Khachapur - 4.5. Asysbal sauce - naked vinegar.
I will never come again. I don't recommend it.

I give one star for the view and location.
We were with my wife and two children. I must say right away that after dinner there, we both felt bad, we were poisoned, then read more about the food.
We chose a table by the window, someone was sitting there before us, they asked us to clean up, everything was taken away from the table, but they decided not to wipe it, they left it with leftovers and crumbs. In general, cleanliness is not particularly monitored, but this does not particularly bother us. And here's the food that we came there for.…
Meal.
We ordered a much-praised boat, princely (it seems so) according to reviews. Delicious dough, bland filling, not bad, but not the most delicious thing we ate.
Chicken kebab. The meat was not ready, the fat, the marinade was not tasty, it was too salty. We ate a couple of pieces, we didn't do it anymore. We suspect that the meat was spoiled.
Chashushuli with mutton, mutton is only one word in it, bones, skin, cartilage, the smell is not boiled. The dish is also lean, absolutely without salt, the taste is not revealed, they could not eat.
The Greek salad, it would seem, how can you spoil it, it was brought first by the way. Vegetables were probably the cheapest used, not tasty, the salad tasted like just drinking vinegar.
The fries are normal, the nuggets are very fatty. Milkshake with sauce like everywhere else.
The comments were told to the waitress, but she didn't care about salt, she said that they didn't add it at all, it was strange how then some dishes were too salty, there was no salt on the tables either, they said that they could then put salt shakers, the waitress replied "So you would say!".
In general, the price tag is too high, there is no taste, no service, no cleanliness, only the view is good. I don't understand how they got high marks.

I didn't like the food. I don't know, maybe we were so unlucky. A seafood salad was ordered, in which only 1 small octopus, a bunch of tasteless and bitter mussels, a couple of unleavened shrimps (one caught a sharp fragment of a mussel shell) and squid rings, the rest are leaves of bitter greens and everything is poured with sweet and sour sauce, a disgusting combination, the cost of the dish is 720p!!
My husband ordered hashlama, the broth is delicious, but instead of meat there are bones with cartilage and fat on them.
The only thing we liked was homemade lemonade.
If you plan to go in the evening, then book a table in advance, because there are a lot of people in the evening and all the tables are occupied.

I am writing long after the visit (August 13). We went there with the whole family of seven people. The restaurant itself is not bad: the appearance, the food... But we waited for the waiter for a very long time. This is also provided that the first part of all of us managed to order dishes, and the second part did not. We decided to dance, but the music is terrible. Obscene language, 18+ content, etc. DJ is not a good person. When asked to change the repertoire to a more cheerful one and suitable for dancing in a rough form, he replied to go to another cafe. But not only adults are sitting there, but also children... And not all adults like this.
About the bathroom. The toilet is dirty, but at least it doesn't smell. There is no toilet paper, but it was lying on the floor. The latch didn't close the first time.
I don't dispute that the food is delicious - it's really not bad. I ordered pasta with salmon, a honey cake and a chocolate cocktail for myself. The pasta is delicious, but there is a lot of it + not enough fish itself, just a few small pieces). They put a huge piece of cake, which is why they took it home - but on the contrary, it's good. The cocktail is wonderful.
But I want to note! My younger sister ate nuggets, and then she was sick all night. And she wasn't the only one who felt bad.
The meat is not checked here, and looking at some comments, you can guess that something is wrong with the meat.
In general, I advise you to visit either the cafe opposite or the Verandah establishment. They left without much mood, but there was also a tip of + 10% to the payment itself.

I was with a girl in the restaurant "Balkon" 2 times: 07/22/2023 and 07/27/2023. Both times I ordered a pork kebab (homemade) and Lelya's girlfriend is a beef kebab. We decided to visit again on 27.07 and it was a mistake. The following days after our visits, I had a fever, weakness and nausea. The first time, I did not connect the cause of my malaise with the barbecue eaten in this institution, but after the second time, the reason is obvious to me and the symptoms of the disease correspond to meat poisoning. In addition, I would like to inform you that the chefs cook without gloves and hats, jump over the fence between the cooking area and the guest hall. There used to be the coolest cafe in Gudauta, but now it's gone bad! And it gets worse with each hike. The mushrooms on the grill were burnt, khinkali without broth, the burger tasteless - it was our last hike, in August, I attach a photo. And yesterday we ordered pizza, it was generally inedible, with an unpleasant smell, not baked, not tasty, and even barely warm. The waiter offered to warm it up, but we didn't have time. Sorry I forgot to take a picture, I was just upset. Khachapur boat was normal, fries too. But I think they will soon forget how to do this too, we will no longer go to this cafe with our family.
