The hotel has been renovated, traces of fresh paint have not been washed off the walls in my room. The condition of the room is normal, although the air conditioner was buzzing, it was working.
They settled in quickly, they did not offer to improve the room.
I was surprised by the lack of a brush in the toilet. Water was brought every day. She refused to clean when she agreed, they stupidly took out the trash and straightened the bedclothes, linen and towels were not changed.
I always found something to eat from food. Mostly meat, vegetables and desserts. I didn't dare try the incomprehensible salads from yesterday's leftovers.
In the dining room, it was annoying that you couldn't take the appliances yourself, you had to look for waiters and ask them.
Meat was allocated strictly in portions, and more "to their own", to the Russians at the expense.
Overall, a good hotel, several pools, a water park and a private beach. However, the pontoon needs to be repaired. There was animation every day, every day a new theme, there was a fire show.

A pleasant hotel, not very new, but quite cozy. The rooms are not new, there are cosmetic flaws in the decoration, furniture and plumbing. For lovers of luhari is definitely not suitable.
The territory is also not new. Cracks in the plaster of buildings, sometimes peeling paint - this is the norm for this hotel.
The staff smiles only for tips, but they do their job well without them. Cleaning every day. The room has a safe, refrigerator, conditioner, hair dryer, shampoo gels. Changing towels every day if left on the floor.
The food is normal, without frills. Meat dishes are served in portions. The portions are small. You can, of course, go back for another portion, but this is inconvenient in every sense.
There are a lot of vegetables, always fresh. The side dishes are not very good, except, perhaps, rice. In short: you won't be hungry, but don't expect frills.
Bars. The alcohol is local, very strong. Take it in dutik right away. Powdered juices, instant coffee (there is espresso in one bar, but for a dollar). Tea bags, a large selection. Soda standards: Cola, fanta, Schweppes.
The pools are clean, without heating. There is a water park.
For children, it's normal for once.
The beach is covered with coarse sand. The approach is very gentle - it is convenient with children. Then the corals. The depth is 100-70 cm. You can't walk on corals, you can swim to the end of the reef, but not everywhere - it's too shallow in places. You can watch the fish 30 m from the beach. There are a lot of animals. The sea is simply MAGNIFICENT.
There were always enough sun beds.
Excursions can be asked from the owner of the clothing store. It will be twice as cheap as the guide's.
Diving at the hotel. Inexpensive, you can negotiate for $ 20, if you do not take it through beach molesters (they have 30), and right in the diving center.
Be careful! Instructors don't care about your health. Mine ignored my signs and literally dragged me into the depths. I didn't have time to sell out and damaged my eardrum (not critical, but I spent the rest of my vacation with discomfort in my ear and had to give up diving in the RAS MOHAMED Nature Reserve).

We were a family : 2 adults and 2 adult children aged 19 and 16) since June 26. We took two tours for 2 people in a standard room. For some reason, it did not give the opportunity to purchase a family room, apparently the age of the children was already confusing. Upon arrival, the reception was asked to check in together.For an additional fee ($30 per room)we were moved into neighboring rooms on the 2nd floor, overlooking the sea, there was a common door between the rooms, which suited us very well.
As many reviews say, indeed, the staff is friendly, the territory is constantly being looked after. Mosquitoes were only at the reception on the day of arrival, then they saw how the territory was repeatedly treated. We took fumigators with us, they never came in handy.The rooms are clean, cleaned, Russian chocolate works wonders)) Every other day we would leave a chocolate bar and some money. Every day they brought 1.5liters of a bottle per person. Sometimes they didn't take it anymore, they didn't drink so much, because there is water in restaurants and bars and by the pool and on the beach.Indeed, the rooms, as they say, are tired,,, but we came to enjoy the sea. There was water, there was light, the bed was clean-that's all you need.In order to change the towels, we just threw them on the floor.When we arrived, there were not very many vacationers, so only one restaurant on the 2nd floor was open. We got to the Eid al-Adha holiday, so after it a lot of locals came and then, so that there would be no confusion, they opened on the 1st floor. The food was exactly the same as on the 2nd floor, but it was more comfortable to sit there, there were fewer people, everyone thought, apparently, that the food was worse on the 1st floor))) Believe me, no, it's all the same there. Yes, perhaps there is no diversity in the restaurants that fastidious tourists are used to.But! There was beef every day! And as a goulash with slices, and a kebab every two days and just boiled delicious beef was cut into pieces.There was always chicken, too, and stewed, boiled and shish kebab. There was also a different fish every day for lunch and dinner, in its various manifestations. Yes, the cooks put very little meat in the plate, but no one bothers to come up with two plates and then come up as much as you want. Mutton was given on Eid al-Adha.There was never a time when the food ran out, and someone did not have enough.We went to the opening of the restaurant and later, there was always enough.
Watermelon, melon, sliced apples, oranges, grapefruit, plums, fresh dates from the tree, mango were used as decorations for desserts.Desserts are not the same as in Turkey, but sponge cakes and mousse and semolina and shortbread pies are also good. On the street on the 2nd floor, Egyptian bread-tortillas are being prepared in the oven and a woman is cooking large pita bread next to it.There are always pancakes, omelets, hard-boiled eggs for breakfast, and fried eggs are prepared reluctantly.One day they gave fried crabs.The soups are peculiar, the vegetable did not come in, the lentil was delicious, but it was rare. There were always rice and oatmeal porridges, pasta with two types of sauces, but you can ask them to put it without sauce.Instant coffee. But! At the reception in the bar, at certain hours they cook for free in a coffee machine, and in the hookah bar in the evening you can buy coffee brewed in a turk. We have never been hungry.Therefore, I do not understand those people who threw tantrums there about poor nutrition and instant coffee. You can also sign up for a la carte restaurants (Italian and Oriental), and at least sign up every day))) The Italian restaurant serves bruschetta and pizza one per person, drinks, fruits, desserts. We went to Italian twice. The second time on the eve of departure from that calculation, in order to take the pizzas with you on the road)) And they helped us out a lot). The only thing that bothered us was the lack of napkin holders with paper napkins in all restaurants....the waiters lay out the cutlery and one napkin next to it, then you have to go begging.. At the same time, there were no problems with toilet paper anywhere, neither in the rooms nor in the shared toilets. Now about the beach. The beach is big, we never occupied a place in advance, we always found it. By the shore on the sand, it's good only with small children. Shallow and do not go further, because corals. A lot has been written about the pontoon. Yes, it is inconvenient, cramped, there is only one ladder for descending into the water-but they quickly got used to it. It was really crowded when the locals arrived, they are whole family clans, they do not know how to give in, move over -as the guide explained to us, this is their mentality. Therefore, do not pay attention to them and try not to get there on such holidays))) The sea is beautiful, a coral reef with fish, we saw a huge turtle with a human growth.
The neighboring hotel is still empty, it is also the same owner - the Continental Garden. There is a guard on the beach all the time, he told us that he has been under repair for 2 years, they plan to open in 3-4 months.It can be seen that the green area is also being cared for, watered, and the beach and marina are still in ruins.
Wi-Fi is available everywhere in the hotel. Both on the beach and in the rooms.Upon arrival, we bought a couple of local Vodophone Sim cards, which helped out when we left the hotel. It is expensive to call a taxi from the hotel. We downloaded the InDrive taxi app, and for 110 local pounds we drove to Soho and then to Naama Bay.There are several small shops on the territory where you can buy, for example, a white hooded shirt for any age from $ 10 or any beach accessories.
The animation is really very weak... We went and looked at it once and didn't want to anymore. Once in the afternoon, they accidentally caught a foamy entertainment in the pool. There is no information about the event anywhere. Before dinner, animators only stand at the restaurant in some kind of themed costume and lure them to the evening program.
Who is used to the conditions of 6* hotels)))- well, yes, it will be uncomfortable for you, but for those who are clean, comfortable, and tasty, you will like it. We were satisfied with our vacation! I also recommend that you find relatively recent video reviews of the hotel on YouTube and watch them for review.
When choosing a hotel, I put more emphasis on the beach and the sea and did not lose.

Upon arrival, the reception showed us the building where we would like to stay and Ahmed-Adnan kindly provided us with a key without any additional charges. Number 5208. They took us to our room by electric car and brought our luggage. The room has good solid wood furniture. The mattresses are good and the bed linen is good. Plasma, refrigerator, safe, sconce, work table and chair, chest of drawers, bedside table, coffee table, lamp, wardrobe and table at the entrance. In the bathroom there is a toilet, a bidet, a bathroom, a sink with a large countertop, a hair dryer, a convenient pull-out mirror. The bathroom is spacious and the room itself is quite spacious. An extra bed was provided for two children in a bed. A kettle was also provided upon request. Thank you Ahmed - Adnan, he was very attentive to us. They didn't ask for an iron, as they took their own. The air conditioner worked well. Nice sliding glass doors to the balcony. The service is excellent! The room was cleaned every day. Towels were changed, and water was brought for each of them by a bottle. Shampoo and gel were brought as needed. Everything worked fine. Well done! The territory is very well maintained, everything is blooming. In the evening, everything is highlighted. The pools are cleaned every morning. Urns are located throughout the territory. The beach is well equipped. Deck chairs with mattresses. Towels are distributed at the entrance on the left. A gorgeous sea with clear water, with a coral reef. A variety of fish. We saw blue and gray stingrays, moray eels. There is a bar on the beach, food was given after 11 days. Hamburgers with sausage and cheese, with a cutlet, French fries. Drinks are varied, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Schweppes lemonades, good beer, cocktails. Animation has always worked. There is good music on the beach. Triple exercises, yoga, various games, in the evening a children's party in the amphitheater and then a show program. An amazing fire show, national dances in beautiful costumes. Contests for adults, a disco. I liked everything. We rode all the slides in the water park. The children are delighted. The food is delicious. A variety of pastries. If you come to the beginning of breakfast, lunch or dinner, then the assortment is very good. For breakfast, delicious donuts, pancakes with honey or apricot jam, fried eggs. For lunch, beef with vegetables, chicken, chicken soup with cream is delicious. For dinner, grilled kebabs, beef, tuna. They bake tortillas nearby. The whole range of alcohol, Schweppes lemonades, beer, rum, good white wine. We haven't tried the rest. The pastries are gorgeous, sponge cakes, pastries. Fruits include apples, oranges, dates, watermelons, bananas, and limes. Everything is 5+. And the most important thing is the Internet!!! I even caught WiFi on the beach. We also took a vodofone SIM card at the airport for $ 10 35gb. If the traffic was overloaded, they switched to it. In general, I recommend the hotel!!! I didn't like it at all! The food is monotonous, they give out food, as if this distributor feeds me out of his pocket! Endless queues for food, the plates are almost all chipped. You are sitting at the table eating, if there are a couple of pieces left, the service staff takes it from under your nose as dirty without asking if you have finished or not..🤦🏻♀️ All tables are wiped with one dry cloth, just shake off the food with this cloth and that's it. During a meal, hands stick to the table, which is very unpleasant, I'm not a squeamish person, but here...
My husband was standing in line for a watermelon with a large plate, they put three triangular slices in it, asked him to put more because there are six of us in the family and he takes on everyone, to which the distributor told him, let each person from the family come (we had a one-year-old baby with us). To which the spouse boiled over, asked to call the administrator, explained to him the essence of the snag, he asked the spouse to sit down and said I'll bring everything now. As a result, he brought a whole plate of sliced watermelon.It's a shame that such things are obtained through scandal. The attitude of the staff towards the hotel guests is dismissive and they do not hide it. Alcohol is poured as if it is being torn from the heart. The sea is beyond praise! But even here there are shoals... the pontoon is breathing hard.. the first time she stepped on it, my daughter was very afraid of cracks in the pontoon and the planks placed on it, at first she refused to go further along it. There are a lot of broken deck chairs, washed beach towels, it's unpleasant to pick them up. It was possible to choose a darker color for the beach..🤷🏻♀️

There is only one bar on the beach. There is no bar near the pools.. It's kind of weird.. they clean the room somehow. And... here's what else. Upon arrival at the reception, we were offered two "superior rooms by the sea" for $ 50. There is one room on the 1st floor for a family with a stroller and for us on the 2nd floor (there are six of us). We agreed (although I wouldn't have given $1 for this room). In general, they brought us there, there is dirt in the room, sand, towels and detergents are not available, the refrigerator does not work, the safe does not work ... (in general, the room is not prepared at all!!! Also, when the staff was cleaning, instead of a shampoo bottle, they constantly put bubbles with shower gel! He was just confusing them!
In general, I will not go to this hotel anymore! And Egypt in particular. There is no desire to go to this country anymore. Starting with the attitude at the airport. Rude, always looking for someone to rip off money from airport and customs workers. Ending with this hotel and its employees....

We rested on 07/24/2012 to 08/07/2012. Upon check-in, we received a room with a frontal sea view ( $ 30 in the passport). 2nd floor. The room itself and the balcony are quite large in size. A tea/coffee set is provided upon request. Mosquitoes, etc. were not noticed. WI-FI is free at the reception, there are no rooms. At the airport, they took an Etisalat - 50 GB SIM card for $ 15. In fact, it turns out to have about 25 GB on it (the operator does not count traffic 1 to 1, but as I understand it, depending on whether it is social networks or something else). In general, the hotel is tired and in need of repair, it does not pull at 5 stars in this condition. Food for gourmets is uncalculated, but you will not stay hungry. The sea is great - a beautiful reef, there are no problems with sun beds on the beach at any time. Most of the sun beds are in good condition, mattresses are available. Panton is very tired – repair is required! Excursions were taken right on the beach ($ 30 for two quadrics, $ 70 yacht with a visit to the white island and diving). There is nothing outside the hotel, we took a taxi for $ 10 round trip to Naama. Since 01.08, the animation team has changed, there has been a little more movement. In general, we had a good rest, but in the future we will most likely not consider this hotel for a visit.

Before the trip, as usual, I read the reviews and got ready for anything unpleasant. But I didn't find any negativity there. It took 10 minutes to drive from the airport, they settled in immediately, the room was already pre-determined and I prepared to fight, if necessary, for the best conditions- but I didn't have to. A great spacious room turned out to have everything you need, even a bidet and a bathroom, which I rarely met. Going out onto the terrace, I found a view of the sea, which is absolutely amazing + the room is standard. Many complain about the restaurant that there is nothing to eat. I do not know what people usually eat, but there is plenty of food there. Everything that usually happens in Egyptian and Turkish hotels. Side dishes, meat and fish dishes, salads (which I still strongly recommend avoiding, since this is a mess of half-eaten dinner), two soups that taste excellent, a huge amount of sweets and pastries for every taste - both rich, and puff, and dry, who likes what more. The only disadvantage is the serving size of protein dishes- meat, chicken, fish - they are superimposed only by the staff and two tiny pieces each. Twenty grams each. So that you have an idea, for example, they chop the chicken not into 8 parts, as we do, but apparently into 58. Because when they put a 3*3 cube on your plate, you will never guess what part it is and from where. Personally, I rarely eat meat and this situation amused me more than it bothered me, but if you are meat lovers, then I advise you to type all absolutely protein dishes. Take the total amount.
Sea. It's beautiful like any place in the Red Sea, BUT there are no special reefs there. Marsa alam is ten times juicier in this regard. Only an inexperienced tourist can admire the reef in the Continental. Not a single lionfish, a stingray miraculously saw on the last day, as well as a small moray eel. No turtles, no dugongs, no winglets, no snakes, no octopuses, no jellyfish. Common corals and common solitary fish.
There are plenty of places on the beach, everything is OK with towels too.
The hotel itself is very beautiful, located on a slope, steps down to the sea, white buildings look like Cypriot ones, many excellent pools, one even with a bar in the center.
I'm very happy with my vacation, I'll bet you five. If you are a passionate snorkeler and an expert, then choose Marsa alam or Dahab. If you don't like reefs in principle, then I hope you will be delighted.

We were satisfied with everything in principle. Especially the underwater world. In terms of nutrition, we are not whimsical, meat and vegetables were enough for us. Fruits are cut and given in portions, local desserts are for the amateur, but there is a saving on cucumbers and tomatoes. The savings in principle are actually felt on everything. I really liked the territory of the hotel. It is large and well maintained. We recommend that everyone install the in drive app before leaving Russia, it helped us save a lot on taxis. Excursions were also ordered online from the albatross company, we liked it.

They save on everything! The child liked the children's disco very much. Beach and sea for 5. The hotel guide from Sun International, Karim, said at the meeting that he would solve all our problems, but when it was necessary to solve the problems, he simply did not answer, which time I make sure that they only sell more excursions. We had a rest since July 6, for a week. I liked the place, the bay is windless, the food is normal (people, take the crown off your head, the food is NORMAL!!!) It just so happened that the child was ill, so the doctor came and helped without any problems at 4 o'clock in the morning and then was constantly interested in his son's health before our departure (huge respect for this), daily room cleaning, with replenishment of water in the right amount, very pleasant staff! We will definitely return to this place! The sea is simply at the highest level!!!

We had a rest with our family 02.05.-16.05.2023 at this hotel. We were looking for a 5* hotel, but in fact 3* no more! And now, in order, in short: the beach and the sea are great, it has leveled all the disadvantages!!! The staff is unfriendly, insincere, fussing over business, can not solve the simplest issues with check-in (we paid $ 140 extra for the room, hoping for better service and cleaning. It didn't happen until we complained! The rooms are old, the plumbing is leaking, there is no brush in the toilet, there is no mini-bar, after cleaning there is sand on the floor. The staff in the dining room snatches plates right out of their hands, stand over their souls, napkins one per person! There is practically no meat, you can't take it yourself, the cook puts 2 pieces each, you have to walk several times. Beer lovers, get ready for the fact that beer is poured into micro glasses and only two at a time, you will walk 100 times!!! The choice of food is limited, ten salads, differing by one or two ingredients. The pastries are all the same, only the design is different! During our stay, the hotel management collected reviews from tourists to remove the disadvantages! We informed them of all the above and after a couple of days we saw changes in the positive direction! The menu in the dining room was changed, which was very pleasant, they brought a tea set to the room, the cleaning became better, minor repairs began to be done everywhere and in general it became good!!! Special thanks to the hookah man, he is an excellent employee and the best person in the hotel! Good afternoon! We are having a rest for the second day at this hotel! We are just shocked!!! This hotel corresponds to a maximum of 3* stars!!! Yes, the territory is large, but (!) the rooms have old furniture, dirty Curtains, tiles with chips!!! The food is just a nightmare!!! On the day of arrival, we went to lunch and did not know what to choose. The son could only choose sausages fried with onions. That's it!!! There is no more meat!!! From the word at all!!! On this day, there was only chicken kebab for dinner, but you had to wait until it was cooked, and then get two small pieces!!! If possible, please choose another hotel. Don't spoil your vacation!!!

The reef is beautiful! If you want to go to the sea from the beach, you want to go from the pontoon. The tide was at most four meters. It doesn't affect anything. There are plenty of fish, stingrays, moray eels, Napoleons! The food is fine. Mostly monotonous, but delicious. The staff is more than polite, no intrusiveness! The hotel is good. I must say right away that if this is your first visit to Egypt, and before that you were in some Turkey, Vietnam, etc. then DON'T expect 5 stars in the same Vietnam, it's the same 5 stars in Egypt. Turks run everything there, and Arabs run everything here. These are different things, but the hotel is really good.
I also wanted to say that your impression of the hotel will depend on your fastidiousness. I just saw reviews before I turned blue, where they put 1 star for some shabby wall or crack in the road. Seriously, you're not going to look at the walls from the road, but you're going for the sake of the rain and the sun. Therefore, whether you like the hotel or not depends largely on you!
So still about the hotel itself. Probably one of the disadvantages is only pantone. So that you understand, the pantone there is stupidly plastic cubes, about half a meter by half a meter, fastened with the same plastic pins. As you walk, they fly out on the road. There is a void inside these cubes filled with construction foam, so many of them are cracked. As for me, this is probably the only negative.
The territory is very large and beautiful. There is a water park on the 2nd line of the hotel, which is behind the reception. There are 3 slides for adults, more or less normal. For children there is a playground in the water, too, with slides, only small ones.
The food is better. In all the days that there was meat for lunch and dinner, which is done on the grill has not been repeated once. The fruits are mainly melons and oranges. Once they even gave watermelon and figs.
Of course, the sea is the most gorgeous thing there is. A beautiful reef, and whole schools of fish, and right at the pantnote. One man even saw turtles.
In general, the hotel is good. If there is an opportunity, we will come back again.
