I really liked the holiday home. We had a rest in early October 2024, we were lucky with the weather, the sea was warm. The rooms were cleaned every day. I would like to wish that the rooms had full-length mirrors. The staff is friendly everywhere. There is a buffet in the dining room, they cooked delicious, but only in a week the same thing gets boring. The holiday home has a very good location of the dining room and the beach. There are a lot of umbrellas and sun beds. I want to come here again.
We had a rest from September 14th to 23rd.I've been choosing a hotel for a very long time, I've been looking at it since last year.We got here only this year, in the velvet season.I chose according to the criterion- 1 line, i.e. it is located on the seashore. We lived in the second building, as there were no rooms in the 1st, new building at the time of booking.It was confusing that in all the reviews they wrote about the dining room- the queue at the distribution, i.e. not a buffet, but as before in Soviet canteens.
I thought, well, we'll get over it, we'll choose the time, either sooner or later.But that was not the case!!! There is always a queue- and it was annoying on vacation.Nutrition is the same as everywhere else, breakfast is the same, lunch and dinner are repeated.
There was no normal coffee in the dining room, there was a paid bar, but the bar is open from 9.00 a.m.
Another point is that the website states that if you arrive early, and check-in from 2 p.m., you can pay 50% of the room rate and you will be checked in.We were determined to pay extra, since the night flight, my mother is elderly, she was only recently put on a stent, we were very tired! But we were refused, as the hotel is 100% loaded.
But these are small things! In general, I liked the rest.This is the first time in Abkhazia (before that, abroad).
We were positive - that's why we didn't pay attention to some shortcomings that will always be there.

And also - this is the lack of drinking water, there is nowhere to take it, unless you buy it in a store, even in this dining room there is a small bulb, which immediately runs out of water, and it is not filled. And most of all, it's a shame that if it wasn't for the food, then the hotel is just wonderful - beautiful rooms (we were in the first building), clean, modern, though the mattresses are already very tired, you fall into them. The cleaning is very good. The beach is wonderful, while we were with sun beds we did not see any problems, there are changing rooms and a shower on the beach, I really liked the beach. The territory is generally a fairy tale!!! Very clean, beautiful- a fountain with lighting, cypresses are sooo beautiful, palm trees. Toilets are also available on site - comfortable, clean.. In general, everything is super fast, only the food- it is impossible not to take marks for it..
We rested 2 times, the last time in May 2024. It is a very pleasant hotel for its price category. The food is now in the Crab restaurant on the shore, it is quite acceptable, there has never been heartburn. According to Soviet recipes, but delicious. The beach with sun loungers and an umbrella is your own. The rooms in all buildings are renovated. The air is clean. Within walking distance of the colonnade, Gagripsh restaurant, Abbot's Church. In short, we rest ourselves and sell tours to tourists there.
We rested at the Chelyuskintsev Rest House hotel from June 18 to 25, 2021 with a large family: me, my wife Lena, our three children of 11, 7 and 4 years old, two children of my wife's sister of 6 and 14 years old and my wife's mother. We arrived in Sochi early in the morning, at half past three, took a bus to the border, passed control for half an hour, drove to the hotel for about an hour, were at the hotel at 6 a.m. The new building of the hotel is located in a very beautiful courtyard with a fountain and a playground. They asked us to check in, because we were with young children and very tired, but we were told that for early check-in we had to pay half the cost of a night's stay (about 7 thousand rubles!!!), they also refused to feed breakfast!!! We waited in the lobby of the hotel, but after two hours, because our children were running around the hotel and making a lot of noise, preventing the guests from sleeping, we were told that by 10 a.m. they would give us rooms. Rooms were provided to us at 10 a.m. absolutely free of charge!!! My wife's mother with three children was given a chic studio room with a large panoramic window with direct sea views on the fifth floor, my wife and I got a slightly worse room, on the 6th floor on the far right, the sea view was partially covered by huge tui.
The rooms were clean, large new studios with panoramic windows, cleaned every day, efficiently, towels were changed regularly, and new soap, shampoo, toilet paper and three small bottles of water were added every day. The room had a large LCD TV with satellite channels on the wall, a small refrigerator, a kettle, a set of cups and glasses. Everything is very clean, there is no garbage anywhere. The territory of the hotel is very well maintained. Everything is beautiful. Wi-Fi works in the hotel lobby, in the room and even on the beach! The signal is good. The food was good, but there are nuances. In the morning there is a huge queue for breakfast, sometimes it reaches the reception, for lunch and dinner a little less, there is no buffet as such, the distribution is like in the Soviet dining room, you stand with a tray and salads must be taken through the glass, the hot is already being distributed. Breakfast included porridge, omelette, casserole and pancakes, as well as milkshakes, dried fruits and juice. The coffee machine was constantly breaking down, it worked only three times in 8 days. For lunch and dinner - soup, various salads, meat and side dishes. Drinks for lunch include compote, tea, juice and water for dinner. The juice is diluted, according to the type of Yuppie and Invite. At lunch, they gave wine, diluted, sour, poured from a 5 liter plastic bottle! There were very few fruits, sometimes there were bananas and apricots, there were no melons and watermelon. There were also practically no desserts, only small cupcakes. The sea is close, within walking distance, 50 m from the room, through a courtyard with a fountain and a small parking lot for cars. In the first two days it was stormy at sea and there were small waves, it was impossible to go into the sea without special swimming slippers. Then it calmed down and in the following days it was almost completely calm and I swam without slippers. Beach towels are provided free of charge, one per person, but only once, upon arrival, they lie right in the room. The beach is first sand, then closer to the sea - small pebbles, in the water there are also pebbles, already larger. Sun beds and umbrellas must be occupied at 7 a.m., otherwise you can be left without a place on the beach. By 7 a.m., there is already a queue for sun beds and umbrellas, people are walking along the beach and waiting for them to be opened (they are in a stack and locked with a chain).
I often walked around the city in the evening, towards Novaya Gagra along Ardzinba Avenue, along the street there are many cafes, as well as cheap shops with wine and souvenirs.
Excursions were taken on the website of the Apsny Travel company. It is very convenient - you leave a request on the website and a confirmation message comes to Vacap. The prices are cheaper than at the hotel. We took two excursions. The first is New Athos (Anakopia). The cost of the tour, together with a visit to the New Athos cave, is 900 rubles for adults and 800 for children. We paid 2,600 rubles for 2 adults and one child. On the way, we attended two tastings of honey and wine. Then, for an additional fee (500 rubles per person, children for free), we went to the ancient 10th-century church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Lykhny. I really liked the special spiritual atmosphere of this temple. After visiting the temple, we had a walk along the waterfall and lunch, and then the main miracle of Abkhazia - the New Athos Cave! The only subway in Abkhazia took us to the first hall of the underground kingdom, and then a pedestrian (1h. 20m.) route under the guidance of an experienced guide awaited us. The path passed along solid iron bridges laid along the cave. It was very interesting and informative. In conclusion, we visited the New Athos Simon-Cananite Monastery. I really enjoyed the tour. Throughout the journey, we were accompanied by an experienced guide Inga. Thank her very much! The second tour was taken in the afternoon - this is a concert of organ music in Pitsunda in the temple of the tenth century. St. Andrew the First-Called. We were very lucky, as we got on tour at the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater. The program of the evening featured popular romances and arias performed by the artistic director of the theater, Honored Artist of Russia Askar Abdrazakov. We really enjoyed the concert, as well as the excursion to the picturesque bay of Pitsunda.
We left on Friday, June 25 at 13 o'clock by bus from the Biblio Globus company. Before that, we had breakfast and bathed in the morning, unfortunately we did not have time for lunch. In general, I liked the hotel, the food is very good, but this is not Turkey or Tunisia, but Abkhazia, by local standards, it's not even bad! I especially liked the new studios with panoramic windows and views of the Black Sea.

Positive:
- green area, clean, well maintained;
- located on the seashore, its own beach with sun beds and umbrellas;
- the room is well renovated, cleaned regularly;
- all plumbing and electronics were working properly;
I can't say that there are big disadvantages, but there are shortcomings:
- an extra bed is something like a cot with a terribly hard mattress, they don't give you an extra mattress, they just gave you a blanket. It is practically impossible to sleep on it;
- lifeguards on the beach are engaged in selling boat trips and other services instead of their duties;
- dining room: There's been a lot written about her here. There are often queues, the food is edible, but after three days everything gets boring, very monotonous. Delicious fruits and desserts are quickly running out, whoever has time has tried it;
- our room was close to the elevator - the sound from the elevator is very audible, plus the sound insulation itself is not very good. The neighbors could be heard. The window faced the road, there was constant noise, they could not be opened.
- on the second day, they caught rotovirus. It's more likely the sea is to blame. There is a doctor in the hotel, you can contact her, she has medicines.
Definitely, this is one of the most worthy hotels in Gagra. But the price, I think, is too high.

A separate issue is the dining room, the room is small, there are a lot of people, the staff communicates a lot with each other, laughter, laughter, by and large they don't care about people, the music is disgusting, there is not enough food for everyone, who came an hour before the end of lunch, dinner, get ready to get what's left. My 1st visit to Abkhazia began with Chelyuskinites. A completely unpretentious hotel, but calm, clean, with polite staff at the reception. I lived in the new building and in the old one. I liked both there and there.
The sea is a miracle!!! There are umbrellas on the beach and sun beds. The most charming thing is the views of the mountains, the cypresses. I'm thrilled.

We rested for two years in a row: 2022 and 2023. Both times in the new building in the studio room. Lovely, large room with floor-to-ceiling windows and sea views. The beach is very close. The first year there was excellent food in the dining room on the ground floor of the new building. The old building has its own dining room in the courtyard overlooking the sea. The price in the new building is more expensive, but the conditions are better. But in 2023, the manager was replaced and the dining room for two buildings became one in the courtyard. The heat in the dining room, huge queues. If you didn't come early, then the most delicious things were sorted out. We were not hungry, but there is something to compare it with. Therefore, we will not return there anymore. It's sooo expensive for such a service. This disadvantage was brightened up by the proximity of the sea and nature.
We stayed at the hotel from July 4 to July 11. There are both pros and cons. Let's start with the pros: 1) very beautiful, green area. Although it is quite small (you can't really walk anywhere), it is pleasant to be on it. Lots of palm trees, cypresses, an abundance of flowers 2) Well-equipped beach. Free umbrellas and sun beds, changing cabins, toilet. Everything is clean and civil. 3) Nice, modern rooms. We were very pleased with the black out curtains and the free safe. I recommend everyone to choose a room with a balcony, if you choose without it, you will be accommodated in a room with access to a noisy road. Perhaps this is where the advantages of the hotel end. Minuses: 1) the worst thing about the hotel and what most spoiled the impression of your vacation is the dining room!!! She has been complained about a lot in previous reviews and for good reason. There are huge queues even before the canteen opens, on the distribution line (this is all due to the fact that it is too small). The food is monotonous, almost the same thing every day. After a week of rest, I got very tired. The dining room works on the principle of "whoever has time, he has eaten." Everything tasty is quickly disassembled at once. Dishes run out quickly and besides queuing for food, you have to stand and wait for trays/plates/forks. 2) Wi-Fi does not work well. In the first days of the vacation, it still catches well, but in recent days it has been getting worse and worse. Then he stopped connecting at all. 3) Lack of drinking water in the rooms/ on the floor and in the lobby. There was no water anywhere, and the mini-bar in the room was empty. We went to the water shop to get water from the hotel. I think this is piggish towards the guests, no one is talking about a mini bar with drinks, but at least water could be provided for the guests. 4) Lack of animation. For some it's a plus, for some it's a minus, but there's absolutely nothing to do after dinner at the hotel. There is no entertainment, the guests entertain themselves. You can take a minibus to go for a walk in old Gagra. The children at the hotel will be very bored, there is no children's animation, no mini club. Only a small playground. I recommend the hotel only to those who are not picky about food and are ready to stand in line for it. I advise you to better consider the Nart hotel. According to the reviews of vacationers, this option will be much better, although the price tag is higher.

We rested here for 3 years in a row, 2020-2023, 2 times in May and in September. We lived in an old building, the furniture was tired, the bathroom was too. The price was affordable, about 7 thousand, there was a room for 3 with meals. We liked the food, we could try everything for 4-5 days, then in the second round. I wanted to book in 2024. But I read the reviews and realized that the dining room was left alone, which is on the shore, previously residents of only the 2nd building ate in it, and even under this condition, you had to stand in line for a few minutes, the food line, as in the dining room, one distribution table, you take a tray and went to the end, some dishes at that moment the waiters were serving, they were standing on the other side of the distribution, it was like someone was going for a second time for food, and they were like, you've already been there, and now if both buildings are eating there, then standing in line, for example, with 2 children is not an option at all. The beach line at the hotel is small, the territory is only an inner courtyard, but nearby you can go for a walk to the nart and Amra park, there are whole parks, beauty. In general, if it doesn't bother you to stand in line for food, in general, it's not bad for this money.

We rested for 9 days, accommodation for five, lived in a building where repairs were made, cleaning every day, towels were changed every two days, the territory is not large, there is a small playground, many benches, but the nutrition is very bad, the food is almost the same every day, you constantly stand in line for 15-20 minutes.
We had a vacation with our family in the second half of July 2024. We bought a tour from Biblioglobus. We refused the transfer of the tour operator, which is 2 times too high both in time and money. From Sochi airport to the border by Yandex taxi in 20 minutes. Across the border on foot, there was no queue during the day, there was a car queue. Next is a taxi (almost a new Toyota minivan)the hotel is 1000 rubles and 20 minutes away. They settled right away. The room was on the 3rd floor of the old building, with Windows facing the courtyard. However, we also bought a tour with a 2-room room in the old building. It is because of this + proximity to the beach, the choice fell on this "holiday home".
They made a mistake.
The room has recently been renovated by an economy, not very neatly done: a heavily swollen laminate in one of the rooms, poorly installed double-glazed windows (noise from the street is heard), well, all sorts of little things, such as: there is a hair dryer, but there are no fasteners for it (you have to keep it when using), only 1 mirror (in the bathroom), only 1 wall towel hook (in the bathroom), etc. But it should be noted that there is an air conditioner in every room, although the remote control is only 1. The old building has repairs only in the rooms, and the appearance and balconies are badly damaged. Those who were placed on the 1st floor were unlucky, because they have grilles on their balconies (!), really, see the photo. It will also be unlucky who will be accommodated in rooms with a view of another hotel, since there is a strong stench from the garbage dump on that side. Due to the large cypress trees, the sea is definitely not visible from the balconies of the old building, as well as from most rooms of the new building. The sea is gorgeous, emerald in the sun and warm. The entrance to the sea is pebbly. We tried to enter without slippers for 2 days, it was very uncomfortable, on the 3rd day we bought it in a nearby store. The price tag starts from 700 rubles/pair. The store is located across the street if you turn right at the exit from the territory. If you walk closer to Novaya Gagra, such sneakers start from 400 rubles, but walk for 15-20 minutes. Many stores accept Russian cards or a transfer by phone number or cash rubles. There is always a queue in the dining room, many wrote about it in the reviews, it really is. And if you come 30 to 40 minutes before the end of her work, there is practically nothing to eat. The menu is almost the same every day: there is always cabbage. Either stewed, or salad, or both. As well as sliced tomatoes (delicious) and cucumbers. The distribution is poorly organized, the visitors reach for the plates, which are idiotically not at the beginning of the distribution, but in the middle. They do not have time to wash the dishes and take them out wet, still warm. Probably because of such moments, the rotavirus is walking. My daughter got sick on the 3rd day, and I on the 5th. And we practically didn't eat there anymore, the rest was ruined. If you observe how many people take food with them (boiled rice or broth) in the stalls, you understand that we are not the only ones who are sick. My daughter was called a doctor, he sits next to the reception until 20 o'clock, and if you look at his journal, where he records calls, you will see that there is just an epidemic. If you have already bought a tour to this place, be sure to take enterosgel, a remedy for diarrhea, and paracetamol with you. We went on 1 excursion to the Golden Ring of Abkhazia, bought near the entrance to the territory. I will attach a photo with the price list of excursions. All the main attractions in 1 day, I recommend it. There was a Mercedes Sprinter minibus for 20 people, the seats were very close to each other so that more people could fit in
However, we arrived back at 20:30, it was hard due to illness, but I did not want to eat. Due to the tight schedule of the tour, it will not be possible to eat normally, only to intercept fast food at Lake Ritsa. Abkhazians, though hospitable, strive to grab money in any case. So, on an excursion, they offered to go to the Milk Waterfall, most agreed, the guide joyfully announced: 400 rubles each. And who doesn't agree? They were dropped off in the rain at Lake Ritsa and told that in 40 minutes-1 hour they would be picked up from the same place.
Lifeguards on the beach are selling boat trips and parachute flights. They don't look after the swimmers. The line of buoys is only 40 meters from the shore. For those who can swim, it's not very interesting, but it's dangerous to swim further because of the erratic boats, speedboats, scooters.
We rode on a boat, it's better to choose a Dream or Victoria, they have powerful Yamaha engines. But all boats have the same route and prices. Dolphins were indeed seen, very close to the boat. The rules are poorly observed on the roads. It was especially scary on the tour, when in the mountains a minibus enters a blind turn on the oncoming lane, overtaking hitchhikers. Be careful crossing the road, even at a pedestrian crossing.
The weather was different: sun and heat, cloudy, cloudy and rainy. It is better to take sun loungers in the morning, since after breakfast vacationers are brought by minibus from another hotel that does not have a beach. And there are always empty seats after lunch.
Evening leisure in this boarding house is very scarce: there is no animation, you can sit in the room, because there are only 4-5 tables on the territory, you can sit by the sea (but the sunbeds are cleaned at 19:30), you can walk to novaya Gagra (just be careful, there is not a normal sidewalk everywhere).
The return transfer from Biblioglobus is already 7 hours before the plane. We took a taxi (1200 rubles) at 4:45, despite the traffic jam at the border, then we sat at the airport for a long time.
I liked Abkhazia itself: the climate, the sea, nature, people.
Are we going to Abkhazia again? Probably not.

We are currently staying in this holiday home. One of the advantages is a modern room and a close location to the sea. There is 1 elevator for 6 floors in the building. Midges fly in the bathroom (as the staff say, from the sewer); there is no sun in a room with a mountain view (the linen does not dry out); keep in mind that it will be noisy with an open balcony. The territory is small, there are not enough recreation areas. The promised animation is missing. Parents, be ready to entertain the children on your own. The dining room is terrible... standing three times a day. This is not a declared buffet, the distribution line is small (approach from one side), the queue is huge (from the distribution to the entrance to the dining room). There are few mugs in the dining room, you often have to wait. Instant coffee and only for breakfast. If you arrive late, you may not see desserts (sponge cake/souffle) and fruits. Sanitation is not up to par, fruits are not washed, dirty plates and appliances come across. There are no greens and fermented dairy products (kefir, yogurt). The staff of the canteen ignores comments/suggestions. You really won't stay hungry, but there is no variety of choice, and humiliating standing in line discourages appetite. Dogs run around the beach in packs, piss on sun beds. There are a lot of vacationers, there are few sunbeds. The doors in the locker rooms do not close. The staff at the beach "rescuers" torment you during the day, come up and offer a boat trip or a banana ride. wi-fi is not stable. I do not advise you to rest in this place.

But the dining room is a separate conversation! I have never written reviews, but in this case I cannot remain silent, first of all, because the staff not only does not care, they also boldly respond to claims. Let's start with the fact that before each meal and in the process there is a huge queue for the buffet, the food stands themselves are very small, due to which a traffic jam is formed. But this is not the worst thing, although we stand in line for 20-25 minutes. The most unpleasant thing is that there are constant interruptions in food, drinks and dishes. You can wait for compote for 20 minutes. They are insolent to requests to speed up. It's a shame, not the catering. While we were standing in line, we heard similar reviews. Some people come here not for the first time and state the fact that the holiday home has deteriorated. Probably, the staff of the holiday home wrote good reviews, on the basis of which we decided to buy a ticket here. It is simply contraindicated to come here with children. You'll go crazy while you're standing in lines. And when you come to the buffet, there may be a situation that the dish has already ended, and the staff is in no hurry to take it out. In general, it's a shame with a capital letter.

The coffee machine is at the reception, but we haven't been able to drink coffee in 9 days. We had a rest with a friend from 06/03/2024 to 06/12/2024 in Chelyuskintsev. The sea is cool, the weather and nature are great! But the attitude of the staff is disgusting. The transfer was expected for more than 2 hours upon arrival in Adler.. We were at the hotel at twelve o'clock.. and it began - The door to the room did not close) - I even pinched my finger when closing, they cut it in the night. The room is dusty, the towels are stained, there is NO drinking water at all either in the rooms or on the floors. We had paid for dinner- lunch box was not provided, because the tour operator did NOT inform them that there would be guests…At the reception, girls without badges were treated rudely in the early days (then they simply did not address them).On the second day after breakfast, they approached the senior administrator- Dekabrina- stated their claims - replied: I don't like it - leave, will the money be in three days?!.. Is this even normal with guests?? It was as if they had arrived from a neighboring village…The Internet does not work from the word: Absolutely!!!. The food in the dining room is normal, the staff tries their best)There is no animation! We went to a nearby hotel: there is both Internet and a different attitude. Please take the claim into consideration and train the staff in politeness to begin with!And then they have one phrase - we have such a policy!!! But they come to rest, not to deal with basic things. We rested in this holiday home for 8 days. The impressions are generally good. We lived in a new building, panoramic Windows overlook the sea, the view is amazing. The room has a TV, refrigerator, cupboards, mirrors, tables, kettle. Daily cleaning and also bring 0.5 water per person every day, all soap accessories. The beach is good, there were always enough sun beds, umbrellas too, the sea is clean, friendly beach workers (lifeguards). The only disadvantage of the beach is the incomprehensible buses with tourists to the beach (they take up a lot of space)

This is the dining room! !!!And it's not about food, the room itself is terrible!!!I was just in shock 😳🤬Some kind of hangar with windows that no one has ever washed. Wooden benches and the same scary sticky-coated tables. And this is all despite the fact that there is a beautiful dining room in the building, but for some reason it is closed and nevertheless it is in the photos of the site, and not the squalor where we had to eat.
Not a bad hotel. Nice modern clean rooms. Friendly service. Simple, clear food. Water is not provided in the rooms, beach towels are changed every four days. The overall impression was good👍
Everything is fine! The kitchen is on top. The territory is large, very beautiful, with a fountain, there is a private beach. They rent saps. The only drawback is that after arrival they no longer give out shampoos and pastes.
We were in early May, we were lucky with the weather, we sunbathed and even went shopping. Excellent hotel, we were settled immediately, room cleaning every day, everything you need in the room is there, kettle, hairdryer, iron on the floor, lived in the second building, excellent location to the sea, there are sun loungers and umbrellas. There is a pleasure boat. The area is extremely beautiful. About food, homemade food, omelette, casserole, pasta, cutlets, pancakes... Who knows, we liked everything, it was delicious. The vacation was perfect!
Abkhazia was pleasantly surprised. The last time was more than 10 years ago (last time in 2008). The holiday home is clean, tidy, located on the Black Sea coast. The rooms have everything: slippers, gel, shampoo, toothbrushes with paste, slippers. Water daily. Wet cleaning daily. The maids cleaned quickly and cleanly. Towels were changed regularly.
The only drawback: a small dining room, I had to wait for a place to be vacated.
The food was simple and delicious, almost homemade. Porridges, soups, meat, fish, etc. Delicious table wine for lunch))).
Special thanks to the animators: Ilya, Rita and Zhenya. These guys did the impossible: during our vacation there were days with rains and storms, our son practically did not appear in the room. Animators occupied the children all day: playing, making. When we left, my son was upset. I am writing now and he asked me to give Ilya, Rita and his Wife a big hello (from Gosha. 4-13.07.2023)

An amazing hotel! A room on the 6th floor with a sea view is top! The room is spacious, bed linen, white towels are not washed. Your own beach, towels, sun beds, umbrellas are all free of charge. Its own territory, albeit small, but cozy, with lighting and a fountain. The staff is friendly at the reception. Everything is fine, but the food is just disgusting, it's impossible to eat! And the most unpleasant thing is the queues for food!! They take a queue even before the canteen opens (( You stand for 30-40 minutes to take a tasteless meal. We went once, we didn't go again. We ate at other restaurants. In one photo there is a queue in the dining room, in the other there is a view from the 6th floor. Otherwise, the hotel is great!
We rested from 05/12.24-05/14.24, liked it, the food is good, the rooms are clean and large (we booked a standard with a balcony), the territory is small but very cozy, the first line, the sea is clean, the staff is polite.
