We had a rest in July 2022. A great place for family and not only holidays. Excellent location in the center of old Gagra. The new building has cozy rooms, wonderful staff who respond to any reasonable requests. Delicious, varied food. Daily animation for children. Daily high-quality room cleaning. Massage therapist Dmitry is a real professional in his field. I recommend. Many thanks to the staff.

The place is beautiful. I did not expect much from the service, but stating that the 3-star hotel did not expect that there were no slippers in the room and toothbrushes with paste were given out once per check-in. Going to Abkhazia and running around the city in search of slippers and a toothbrush was not part of the plans at all. The administration should be ashamed. These are elementary things.
The food wants to be better: actually, the hotel is located in the south, but apart from tomatoes and cucumbers, nothing was seen. I had to constantly buy myself vegetables and fruits, but they were stored in bags like at the market, because there were no elementary fruit stands in the room either.
For the first time in Abkhazia, but most likely we will not come again

Nice, quiet place, 11+3 steps to the beach. the 2nd building is after repair. Everything is OK, only the water flows weakly on the 4th floor, and you would need a mirror in the room and a chair.
The girls at the reception are smart: Nel, Aelita, Nart and Albina. How much negativity they have to listen to from vacationers about the work of the dining room, the menu and other things. But they keep the brand, they don't stoop to shouting. And the mass media guys Ilya and Alina are trying very hard, gaining experience, involving children. And the maid Galina is very hardworking and friendly. But the weather is not for me.It's very stuffy this year, but nature is nature. And so yes, I recommend a holiday home.
I would like to talk about the beach separately. The owner of the beach, as he calls himself, Hassan only walks and yells to go on a boat trip, having a percentage of it. There is no peace, he responds to comments that he has been here for a long time and he doesn't care about anyone. And his nephew, the youngest of the three, carries sun beds and puts umbrellas. And so there is enough space for everyone.

The food is not bad, there is little choice, but it is delicious. But if you decide to come for lunch or dinner later, a lot of things can end, fruits, for example. And at the beginning of lunch there is a queue, you need to stand in line for 10-15 minutes. Sun beds also need to be occupied in the morning, there is not enough for everyone. The workers on the beach are rude, once they almost got into a fight for a remark not to touch other people's things. And the prices for all this are far from cheap.

Plus, vacationers smoke wherever they want, including under the balcony of your VIP room). And most importantly, there are a lot of strangers on the beach and endless paragliders overhead.

We rested at the end of October. I really liked the triple room right above the entrance. The only thing for my back is a very uncomfortable soft mattress and it is uncomfortable to sleep on the sofa. There is a kettle, tea, sugar, bottled water in the room. They report every day. They are cleaned every day, the floors are clean, the Lobby is very nice and comfortable, the territory is well maintained. There are sun loungers on the beach. With a worse diet, my children didn't eat much. Perhaps there is more choice in the season, but for example there was only oak persimmon from fruits and once in 8 days they gave tangerines. But there are always 2 porridges and 2 soups available. In general, I recommend it. Accommodation cost 6 thousand a day, in the season for crazy money I would not go, it's better to go to Turkey)

Everything is very good. A small well-groomed territory, a beach, food, rooms - all this is at a good level.
Of the big disadvantages: the hotel's booking system works very poorly and there is no coherence with the reception department, which can significantly affect the check-in. All calls to the booking service are paid, we tried to additionally write off and clarify information by messenger, but it will take a very long time, there are no answers to many questions! The reception has the same story, there is no basic information. They asked to change the beach towels, they were given very dirty ones upon check-in, at the same time they changed, but bath towels)
Very long check-in in the rooms. And even if there are available rooms, check-in takes place at 14:00, considering that by this time there is already a whole crowd at the reception.

We had a rest in July 22 at the Chelyuskintsev sanatorium, in a new building. In general, I liked the hotel. The rooms are cozy, modern, and comfortable. We took a room with a sea view, but I didn't see the sea ((, because the growing cypresses cover the whole view, well, okay). At the reception, the girls did well, offered a choice of room, answered all our questions. We had included breakfasts, lunches and dinners. I want to say that they are not bad enough, I have always eaten, although I am fastidious in food)). There was always dry wine for lunch, I can't appreciate it, because I like semi-sweet. There were always fruits. There were enough shislongs on the beach for everyone, if there were no free ones, then "beachboys" will always be brought and put wherever you say. One small disadvantage is the location, you will have to walk a little to the nearest cafe or store)) and the bathroom does not have a door in the shower, but a curtain that does not save from splashes and water almost all over the bathroom, but not very critical. The territory is small, but there is a children's playground. The staff is friendly, I recommend the sanatorium.

I spent 5 nights here in the VIP room (in the photo of the right side) on the second floor, although the neighbors were flooded from below)))) I liked everything, the beach was 50 meters away, the weather was great, they were fed for slaughter)))), but we went out into the city and went to the store, then there are rude people, very rude! They are holding on at the expense of Russia, but they are behaving badly! There are no complaints about the hotel, I definitely recommend it! 👍👍👍

Hello, I am a travel agent, I was in Abkhazia a couple of years ago. And remembering the positive emotions from staying in Joequara, I decided once again. Also bribed + reviews... So, the room stock is good, the cleaning is satisfactory, the nature is excellent. Which is bad. Dirty sea. The dining room. This is the smell of the Soviet dining room. A small barrack. Barely a living air conditioner. Huge queues right off the street!!! Food, no choice, everything is very very modest. This is how we eat at home when life is very tight. There is no entertainment. We went to a nearby Sled, where we worked for half an hour as psychotherapy, the atmosphere of relaxation, everything was thought out. And the most unpleasant thing is rotavirus. It's probably about the dirty sea. The hotel is not to blame. I wouldn't recommend it.

In Abkhazia for the first time, rest at the hotel named after him. Chelyuskintsev liked the new building very much. The sea is clean and warm, and most importantly within walking distance. The food is decent, there is a choice (although queues appeared after June 20). It's great that there are all kinds of activities - fitness on the beach, beach volleyball, children's super disco (special thanks to Mikhail, it was fun). I would like to return.

We had a rest in June 2022, of course the hotel is more modest in architecture than Amra Park, but we also really liked it. We have been to hotels of different levels, but this is the first time!The price does not match the quality at all. The food is just terrible, 3-4 dishes from the cheapest products, carrots, cabbage, potatoes, save on food very much. The dining room is a household block with wooden benches, On the last day the child went for pea soup with sausages, and 5 more people are only on the floor. The staff in the dining room and at the reception are friendly.There is no territory as such, there is no swimming pool, the first line and new Furniture in the old building with a good mattress are among the advantages. We went to eat at a nearby hotel. Guys, if you don't want to feel like fools that you gave money for nothing, it's better to add a couple thousand and you can rent a hotel of a completely different level, there was a Sled nearby, we went there to eat. The owners of the hotel, act according to your conscience, and you will get back! I am for an adequate combination of price and quality.

Good afternoon. We had a rest from September 11-24.
We arrived at one o'clock in the morning, quickly settled in. But no food was provided, everything is already closed nearby. Terribly hungry. The girl at the reception gave us 3 packs of crackers, a chocolate bar and a Coca Cola. (of course not for free)
We lived in the second building. The repair is new. We lived on the second floor, a room on the corner of the building.
Every day, 24/7, hotel staff (maids, janitors, canteen staff) sat under our windows and constantly shouted and talked loudly, you can't sleep at lunch, you can't fall asleep early in the evening.
At 7 a.m., the whole vankhanalia began under the windows!
Someone sweeps, someone yells, someone carries groceries back and forth on a cart that rattles. In the evening, from 19 to 23:00, music turns on in the neighboring hotel, yelling at the whole neighborhood. If you want to sleep in silence, fuck it. Even a closed balcony does not save you.
Nutrition: the same thing every day. As they wrote, there were no queues around, apparently there was a decline in tourists. But the same dishes are served for lunch, dinner, and breakfast. But it's delicious. By the end of the vacation, everything was so boring that there was no longer even a desire to eat here. Of the fruits, one is watermelon, figs and plums. There was nothing else. Baking is one solid biscuit.
On the 5th day, she was poisoned. Either fish for dinner or pea soup. Fever, diarrhea, it's good that there is no vomiting. We lay in bed for 2 days.
In short, everything is like "in the best hotels".
The territory is small, there is no place to walk. For that sea nearby. The beach is clean. There are enough chaise lounges.
Room cleaning leaves much to be desired. They constantly begged for toilet paper, towels, tea with sugar, water, and constantly needed to be reminded. We couldn't stand it anymore, we went to the reception and complained, they put another maid, there are no questions for her, she has been cleaning everything for the last few days and brought everything without words.
Every 4 days we changed all the towels and bed linen, thanks for that, BUT I always had to remind you.
The hotel is not bad, but there is something to work on.
There are still more minuses than pluses.
We won't come here anymore, that's for sure. At least because of the dining room.

We rested in Chelyuskintsev at the end of August 2023, in the old building. The standard rooms were renovated there in the summer, because the rooms are quite decent. Wipe the floor and take out the garbage every day, change of linen in 4 days. There are few hangers in the closet, one per person, take with you. The building has 4 floors, there is no elevator. There is a hair dryer, shampoo, gel, even give a towel for the beach. The sea is nearby, the beach is our own, we had enough sun beds, the sea is clean. The food is monotonous, but you will always find something to eat. By the new season, they seem to want to build a swimming pool on the site of a temporary dining room, and feed it in a building or a room for a restaurant. There is absolutely nothing from the events. That's why it's boring.

At the reception, I asked for dental supplies brought. The dining room is not about anything. The clink of dishes is heard. The speaker stands with a tape recorder not included. We went out after the dining room to the beach, there are 10 of them scurrying around you is not pleasant. The first day of rest. Check-in is strictly at 14 o'clock. The room is a regular standard one. I liked the balcony in the shade of cypress trees. There is a clothes dryer. The territory of the hotel is small, but well maintained. There are free sun beds on the beach, it's the season so it's a little cramped. The staff is polite. In the dining room, the distribution of main marmite dishes is carried out by chefs, there are few fruits. The food is normally cooked at home. There are very few juices and fruit drinks. There is hot water in the boiler, which immediately settled in a cup with sediment. The coffee machine is only available for breakfast.The lunch line at the canteen is just not real. The rooms are cleaned according to the type of garbage removal and wet cleaning without a vacuum cleaner (smeared dust in the corners and clean). The sea is dirty due to the fact that hydro scooters chase dead jellyfish and garbage. It is noisy in the rooms until 12 o'clock at night, or even later, regardless of the location of the room. On the one hand, the road is automobile and railway, on the other, a cafe, night gatherings on benches with loud conversations. If you want quiet at night, you're definitely not here. Not a bad hotel. My husband and I lived in a new building. I don't know about the old one (it's a little more budget-friendly), but everything is new here. The territory is small, but everything is well maintained, clean. The maids are Russians and from the LPR, the DPR. Conscientious cleaning every day, linen change every 3 days. Drinking water, tea, sugar, and toiletries are replenished daily. Each building has its own dining room, but the food is the same, monotonous. Boorish staff at the reception desk (local girls). It did not affect us, but I witnessed such treatment with a client. In the dining room, the staff arranges gatherings, which is even somehow awkward to address them. In short, they are not for us, but we are for them. But if you don't dwell on it, then everything is fine: the sea, the sun, beautiful nature.

I stayed at this hotel for the third or fourth time, the service was at a high level, unlike many Abkhazian hotels.
This year, we were unpleasantly surprised by the queues in the dining room, monotonous menus, and after a few days we ate in order to live, and not to enjoy food.
Due to the fact that the owners have opened another hotel, without their own beach, the number of lights has increased, so you also need to forget about the small number of people on the beach.
In general, if you buy a cheap ticket, then you can close your eyes and be patient. And if you pay for a room in a new complex, then the service does not match.

The beach is pebbly, the sea is clean. The views are excellent. The holiday home is located in the area of Staraya Gagra. Stalin's Empire😊It consists of 2 buildings. The renovation is fresh in 2023.The food is a buffet, modest, but varied and, most importantly, delicious!

We rested in this holiday home in August 2023, we liked everything except the dining room, because of it there was an unpleasant impression about the holiday home, well, dear directors, put things in order, feeding people in such a stable is just some kind of nightmare, no one else will come to you, the food is monotonous and often not tasty, in in the month of August, except for watermelon from fruits, there is nothing at all, it feels like you are in Soviet times in a Soviet dining room, it is sad and unpleasant that there is such a level in our time, this holiday home is not worth the money paid in the season, I do not recommend it, there are much better hotels in Abkhazia.

I had a rest in September 2023 in the Chelyuskintsev rest house, in a new building. The rest was spoiled by the fact that the canteen worked only on the street, and the food was disgusting ( slop ), monotonous, almost no fruit was given, even boiled rice was never there, the heat was in the room, after a few days I was poisoned, I had to eat in other places to spend extra money, although I have everything included "buffet " . There are a lot of people on the beach, not only that, people went there from two buildings and brought people from another hotel. The room is dirty, the cleaning was done badly, there was dust everywhere, the hot water pressure in the shower was very weak, the TV worked poorly with interference. It was impossible to be on the balcony, because the smell of cigarettes was constantly coming from the neighboring balconies, although smoking is prohibited and none of the employees makes a remark. And for these conditions I paid 11 thousand per day .

We had a rest in the new building in August. I liked everything very much! Do not expect Turkey or Greece from Abkhazia, it has its own charm! But the hotel is very decent, at least the new building is in order! The staff is polite, the rooms are very clean and cleaned every day! The food is monotonous but delicious and did not get tired in a week. Its own beach and a bunch of free sunbeds. From communicating with people who often go on vacation to Abkhazia and specifically to old Gagra, this hotel is one of the best!

Positive:very beautiful nature around, its own landscaped beach, VIP room is right by the sea,2-room,with 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies with fresh renovation.
Minuses:the food is like in the dining room, you will not stay hungry, but you will not get pleasure.Very audible music from the cafe on weekends, who goes with the kids keep this in mind, plays until midnight.After 10.00, not everyone has enough umbrellas on the beach.
In general, the new and Vip buildings are decent, the staff is polite, the sea is beautiful, I recommend the hotel.
