I had a vacation with my wife in September 2023, the rooms are clean, cleaned every day, bottled water and hygiene products were updated, the beach is nearby, sun beds, everything is there.
The dining room is just terrible, I read the reviews and knew that something would be wrong, but not so. Queues are constantly, 15 minutes to take a meal, there are few places, the places themselves are not comfortable, the food that has ended does not replace for a long time, everyone is waiting for this. There is no variety in the food, which they give you, you can eat like in a canteen. The last few days we went to eat in the city.

The place is not bad. But for me personally, for one time (boarding house). As a family with a super child.Polite staff, always ready to help in any way they can. A huge plus is you can always ask for a dry ration if you left for a whole day on an excursion (only in advance), early departure, late arrival. The food is very tasty, homemade food, the choice is good (there is no such thing that the eyes run away-what to take). But the downside is that there is almost always a queue.

There is a restaurant on the territory next to the beach, a shower after bathing, longs, umbrellas, clean everywhere. On the beach, the pebbles are round and small, which prevents you from entering the sea. The place is quiet and cool.

Vacation June 2022. It's a wonderful place. Clean, cozy, delicious. The staff is friendly, the girls at the reception are very good, they will help solve any issue. We lived in the second building. Decent rooms, clean everywhere, room cleaning every day. There are no queues in the dining room, a variety of dishes, all fruits according to the season (a lot of fruits), cookies, cakes, nuts, dried fruits, juices, kampots, wine for lunch, in general everything is super. Lifeguards are on duty on the beach, they can solve any issue related to the beach, whether it is to put a sunbed and an umbrella to install or organize a tour of the sea. By the way, there were enough sun beds and umbrellas for all the guests, no one was sitting on the sand.
In general, I recommend it. We will definitely come back here.

modern renovation.Silent, fast elevators and good double-glazed windows (which is important for those who have a balcony overlooking the roadway.)We lived on the 6th floor Cleaning the room every day.Many thanks to the maid of our floor for the cleanliness of the room and tact.I would also like to note the work of the reception and the service staff-all wishes and requests (we changed the batteries in the remote control and cleaned the shower drain).Everything was done quickly and efficiently!!!All the staff are professionals and just nice, responsive people and it's very nice!!!Special words of gratitude for the massage services that Dmitry Pozdnyak did for us!!!Dmitry, thank you VERY MUCH for the health that we received after your sessions!!!!!We highly recommend him and regret that there is no such osteopath in our city. And a little bit in general .The territory is cozy , small , green and clean .The car is in a secure parking lot.The beach is clean with sun loungers and umbrellas (the lifeguard guys are very attentive and help in everything that concerns the convenience on the beach.There is a children's annimation (the kids are delighted !!) Gagra itself is an exit to the city, the impression is difficult.It is very dirty everywhere, unkempt and there is nowhere to go.There is no infrastructure, cafes and shops -it's scary to go in -the sanitation is complete!In short, it is better not to go outside the hotel For us, it was unpleasant, because we love hiking.Abkhazia has unpleasantly surprised us in this regard.Nothing is being restored, everything is falling apart and no one cares about it.In the general summary.

We rested at this hotel at the end of July, lived in the old building (2nd) on the 4th floor, everything was great!
The rooms are new, clean, and a nice cleaner named Galina☺️
Every day they bring water for each resident, the rooms have towels for both the room and the beach
The food is good, homemade, not rich, but quite appetizing and every meal was a pleasure)
There are always free sun loungers on the beach even during peak season
The territory is very well maintained and beautiful😍
We visited the Crab restaurant 2 times, delicious and hearty food, the prices are normal and a very beautiful view of the sea👌

We had a rest in July of the 23rd year, lived in a six-storey building, a room with a balcony. On the plus side, the girls at the reception are great! Excellent customer orientation. The number matches the description. In general, everything is not bad, cleaning, new bottles of drinking water every day. Unfortunately, the positive aspects ended there. The shower curtain is in mold, creepy, short, water is pouring under it, the floor is all in water... well, don't be ashamed, it's just a shame ((it's time to change the mattresses too. Catering, it's just a two-person canteen, a pathetic sight. There are queues at the entrance, because the room is small, there is not enough space for everyone. Food... what you didn't finish for lunch, finish for dinner!!! Pearl barley with grated carrots sour from lunch, enjoy))) We went in and out once. We went to eat at the neighboring Nard, there is a decent buffet for 700 rubles. I also recommend the leadership of Chelyuskintsev to go there, at least look at it. The territory is a tiny, modest Playground. Take the sunbed until 8:00, after breakfast everything will be occupied. The dry residue, I will not go to you anymore and I will not advise anyone.

I put a four, but with a stretch. And only for the fact that, friendly and responsive staff, well-groomed territory (but very small), the buildings are renovated. But the service is lame, the food is monotonous, stray dogs run around on the beach. Of course they are friendly, but... you walk like this on the beach, admire the sea, you don't look at your feet. And then there's a surprise from such a dog and it's good if you're at least in shoes. I don't know if I will come to Abkhazia again at all, maybe someday. But this is not accurate.

I would like to express my gratitude to the management and staff of this hotel. We rested in the new building. The view from the window to the sea and the beautiful green area of the hotel. Some of the rooms have windows facing the road. In the whole of Gagra, some of the rooms are on the road, because the city runs along the road. We lived on the 4th floor. Room cleaning is timely and high-quality. I liked the food, everything was delicious for me: soups, porridges, salads, second courses, Soviet sponge cake. There are a lot of meat dishes, fish is less common. There are indeed queues in the dining room. A wide beach strip, sun beds and umbrellas are free of charge. It is advisable to take a place under the umbrella from 7 to 8 in the morning. Smoking is prohibited on the beach. There is a designated smoking area near the VIP rooms, which I think is not pleasant for people living in them. I did not like that people smoke everywhere on the territory of the hotel, even near the playground. This spoils the beauty of the green area, the fragrance of eucalyptus and cypress trees. Please make a smoking area so that smokers do not interfere with people who lead a healthy lifestyle. Animation is sluggish. I wish the staff of this hotel and the guests health and well-being! I recommend the hotel!

The new building was very pleased, the territory, although small, is cozy. Fountain, century-old cypresses. Exit directly to the beach. There is a restaurant on site. The hotel cooks are very tasty. There is not much choice. But everything is fresh, homey. You'll lick your fingers. Just one caveat: do not settle in the old building for anything, it's terrible there!!!!! Even all this will not brighten up your stay in the old building. Old elderly rooms, a terribly rotten smell that does not fade. Some rooms are accessed through the toilet area. In general, it's a tin. But the new korus is modern, cozy, newly renovated, new furniture, new plumbing. Panoramic windows, some rooms have a balcony. I definitely recommend this hotel, I will return there myself more than once, but only in a new building.

My husband and I had a vacation in June 2023. We really liked everything. Our room was standard. It is large and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the mountains. It's beautiful. The room has a wardrobe, bedside tables, a large soft bed, a table with tea accessories, air conditioning, a refrigerator. Wet cleaning was done every day, shower towels and beach towels were changed every day. Bottles of drinking water were brought every day. There are three meals a day in the dining room. A wide variety of dishes and very tasty cooked. Eat from the belly. The territory is small, but very well maintained and beautiful. The sea is two steps away from the territory. Private beach with umbrellas and sun beds. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We have rested in many Russian sanatoriums and this one is up to 4 stars by standards. Everything was fine. It was the first time and we did not regret that we chose this particular sanatorium. The rest was a success. Well done. Everything is fine.

The holiday home is located on the coast, has its own pebble beach, sun beds, umbrellas, tennis tables, bar, changing rooms, shower, banana-type water entertainers, etc. The territory is closed, there is Parking. In the lobby of the main building there is a bar, an ATM (when withdrawing cash minus 1% of the amount withdrawn)
There is a pharmacy nearby, a couple of shops with the necessary little things. We lived in a two-room vip room. There are two bathrooms in the room. node, air conditioners. Two cots with good mattresses were set up for the children. Cleaning was carried out every day. Two balconies overlooking the sea and the beach. We took a tour with three meals a day, a full menu, lots of vegetables, fruits. The menu is also suitable for children. There are daily workshops and evening discos with animators for children. We were very satisfied with the rest and service. There is no peace in Abkhazia, there are few points with payment terminals, take it personally. Of the minuses, rotavirus infection blooms as usual. This time we were lucky, and the friends with whom we rested together had children and adults who were "hooked".

The location of the hotel is between the old and new Gagra. Nice pebble beach. The food is simple, without frills, but tasty and not harmful. There is a bar in the lobby, a small but good selection of alcohol, a coffee machine. The staff is polite. Strong shoals were not noticed.

We had a rest in July 2022. We checked into the vip building. One of the good ones is the room, spacious, fresh, with two bathrooms. Cleaning and change of towels, water, tb daily. The staff is great! A comfortable beach. But for 227 thousand rubles. For 10 days for 4, I think it should be so)
Everything else is just a nightmare. The food is not a buffet, but everything is like in a factory canteen, a queue at the distribution. And God forbid that it looks like at least 30 minutes before the start of the food distribution - they will tell you that it is over and there will be no more. Therefore, all residents were eager to get to the opening. And if you did take something to eat, it's not a fact that you'll find a place to sit down. The dining room is very small. There is no question of going up for more, there is a queue again..... the coffee machine never works, and if it does, it's a queue again, or the cups are out, etc..... the quality of the food is a canteen, just edible. As a result, we went to eat at other catering establishments in Gagra.
The VIP building is located on the beach itself - the view is amazing! But it is not possible to live. From 8:00 in the morning, the beach workers begin to pull away the sunbeds, the noise is deafening. A smoking room and trash cans were organized under the balconies, of course all the smoke, all the conversations and the mat and the stench from the trash cans came to our room. There is a restaurant nearby. In the evenings, there is a "program". Namely, the singers sing. They sing loudly, badly and apparently to the last customer. We spent several nights without sleep.
wi-fi is simply missing, or rather, it seems to be there, but it is not. Generally disappointed with the rest. The price - quality does not match at all.

We rested from 3.08.23 to 08/13.23 in building 1. The rooms are spacious, clean, the territory is small but well maintained, the beach is equipped with umbrellas and sun beds. The beach is large pebbles, corals are needed. That's where the advantages end. The food is organized very poorly, as in Soviet times in the dining room, you take a tray and get in line for distribution. There are 50 people in the queue, it takes 15-20 minutes, two air conditioners can't cope, the stuffiness is unbearable, and the food itself is very budget-friendly. As for the animation: in fact, it is missing. In the morning, it is not every day that you exercise on the beach, for 20 days. I saw two games and 2 dances with the children twice around 6 o'clock, then the children entertain themselves. As a result, it is not worth the money spent. About the tour, we took one at the hotel to Lake Ritsa. A minibus without air conditioning, we drove there for 4 hours with many advertising stops, tasting cheese, wine, etc. We were on the lake for 50 minutes, we heard back in an hour. They did not take any more excursions

We had a rest in August 2022. The food is good, there is almost everything to choose from. The territory of the holiday home is beautiful, the fountain is turned on in the evenings. There are a lot of dogs on the territory, as in the whole of Gagra. I didn't like the Chomsky attitude of the lifeguards on the beach. If there is no bracelet on your arm, they won't even lift your ass to help with the sunbeds. By the way, there were not enough sun beds for everyone. Well, when booking places, the tour operator showed only the rooms of the main building, where excellent repairs were made. And we were housed in the 2nd building, with Soviet repairs. Room 316. The whole bathroom was mildewed, chipped, it was unpleasant to wash, there was water in the drain. Shampoo and shower gel (disposable) were given out only once. Like it's supposed to be. They asked for a decommissioned towel instead of a rug in the bathroom. If you only come to spend the night, then it is tolerable. I wouldn't move in with my family.

We rested in Chelyuskintsev from July 26 to August 5, 2023. I really liked the holiday home, we lived in the second building on the fourth floor, the view from the balcony is amazing, the room is brand new, modern renovation has been done. The furniture is new, a new double mattress.the food is normal, there is not much choice, but we had enough. For those who have little food, there are many cafes and bars nearby. The beach is on the first line , there were enough sun beds , clean .the beach offers stunning views of the mountains, swimming and admiring nature. I would love to come back here more than once

We had two rooms in different buildings and rested for 10 days. I recommend choosing a new building first, they clean better and the rooms are better. The food is excellent , the first shore , the staff is responsive . There are umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach , everything to bask in the sun . The beach is nice, with its own sun beds, but at 10:00 they bring a minibus from neighboring hotels and hell begins and the battle for sun beds.

The place is beautiful. I did not expect much from the service, but stating that the 3-star hotel did not expect that there were no slippers in the room and toothbrushes with paste were given out once per check-in. Going to Abkhazia and running around the city in search of slippers and a toothbrush was not part of the plans at all. The administration should be ashamed. These are elementary things.
The food wants to be better: actually, the hotel is located in the south, but apart from tomatoes and cucumbers, nothing was seen. I had to constantly buy myself vegetables and fruits, but they were stored in bags like at the market, because there were no elementary fruit stands in the room either.
For the first time in Abkhazia, but most likely we will not come again
