We stayed at this hotel from 03/28. to 04/02. 25. Overall, we liked it. Convenient location: you can walk to both old and new Gagra, there is a bus stop nearby. We had a room with a balcony in the main building on the 5th floor overlooking the sea - birds were singing in the morning, you can see the sea and the interior, you can't hear the road! The room is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. There is a table and 2 chairs on the balcony. I was surprised that they didn't put a welcome bottle of water. There is a kettle and tea pairings with spoons, beach towels. Daily and high-quality cleaning. The only drawback is the very soft mattresses, it's uncomfortable to sleep. I was 56 kg, and I was falling through, and what can we say about those who weigh more..... The territory is small, but very well maintained, green. The sea is just a stone's throw away, sometimes we were given deck chairs :). Catering: the dining room is large, with a view of the sea, there is an open veranda. The buffet was small, but we never went hungry :), there is always something to take. Personally, I liked the quality of the food, and I'm quite picky :)) Of the cons: there was no regular drinking water (only tea and compote) and for some reason a very limited number of teaspoons (for 30 people, it's good if there were 15 pieces). The distribution is very small, and a queue is being created. If there is a lot of occupancy, this is a problem. Well, we expected that there would be local cheeses, at least compote (not juice) from tangerines - but alas, none of this happened. It's weird for me personally.
In general, I recommend it for a vacation.

Very nice boarding house! Built in Stalinist times, the style of Soviet architecture. Compact green area, the sea is close and clean. The food is delicious and satisfying. There is a tour desk. Nearby is the five-star Amra Spa hotel, where you can go to the spa, use the pool and all the infrastructure (cinema, restaurants, entertainment). Great vacation.

We stayed at the hotel from 05/09/2025 to 05/16/2025. The hotel has a beautiful manicured territory, a small glowing fountain. The entire territory is cleaned daily and the plantings are monitored. The rooms are also cleaned daily and well. At the reception, all the girls are polite, smiling, always responding to requests. The beach is private, small but the cleanest on the coast, and there are fewer rocks, there is a volleyball court and sun beds. We had three meals a day: the choice is small, but the hotel positions its meals with elements of a buffet. Everything is delicious, there is enough food. Fresh vegetables, several salads with three types of hot and side dishes, soups are very decent, their own pastries, plenty of meat, good cutlets, grilled vegetables, and most importantly, the meal takes place with a panoramic view of the sea. Free parking is also available on site. The weather was rainy, so the mood was created by the animator girls Anastasia and Diana - they work every day from morning to evening, prepare various quests, quizzes, even karaoke, everything was very interesting and fun, they work especially well with children, our child of 5 years did not leave them at all, always checked the time to catch the next competition Therefore, we thank them very much for their excellent leisure time. We had a rest at the rest house in May, we took 10 days. The hotel has 2 buildings, new and old, we lived in the old one, everything is very decent in the rooms, there is everything for living. There is no elevator in the old building, but in the new one there is,

In general, everything is not bad if you are in a positive mood.
The holiday home is very budget friendly, so you don't have to expect much.
Room cleaning is poor, they try not to come in once again.
There is no water, not even a cooler on the floor. It's bad, you have to carry bottles of water. We did not dare to drink from the tap on the recommendation of the administration.
About the food. There is a choice, you will not stay hungry, but THIS SAVING is simply killing. You didn't come to the very beginning, so be ready to eat leftovers, very tight with additives. For example, they gave red fish for breakfast once, as we understood, there was only 1 tray, which was disassembled in 2 minutes. The rest of the campers stared with envy) It's the same with cakes. How do you explain to a child why someone has a cake on the table, but we don't and won't?)

There is no animation. It's a bit boring.
BUT very close to the sea. Therefore, the hand will not rise to give a low grade.

Not a bad hotel. The location is not very convenient - there are only hotels around, but 15 minutes on foot - you can walk to the park. The territory is small, but picturesque: cypresses, palm trees of various kinds, a fountain.
We lived in the old building - the repair was not bad, everything worked, nothing leaked, the bathroom was large. There are a lot of outlets in the room!!! LG LED TV. Mini-bar. However, instead of the promised balcony, there was a glazed loggia.
In Gagra, electricity is constantly turned off, but in the hotel, almost imperceptibly, a generator is instantly connected.
The dining room seems to be large, there are enough places, the queues are created by the guests themselves - it takes a long time to choose salads)))

We were in late June-early July, building 2.
The territory is small, but very cozy, green, intimate. Very good location, direct access to the sea, clean and comfortable beach, sun beds, umbrellas. And what a wonderful sea!!! Minus the number - the bathroom is without a side, and very small, the water is right on the floor, the whole bathroom is in water((
There was a lack of a full-length mirror, no elevator, it was inconvenient to carry suitcases to the 4th floor. Building 1 is much newer and more decent. If you go, then take a room in it.
Dining room - they cook delicious soups and meat dishes. It's a little sparse with desserts. And these queues for distribution! We have to do something about it! Everything is clean and sanitary standards are quite decent. Nearby is the Amra Hotel, where you can walk like in a botanical garden. Nearby there are shops (they took water, champagne), a pharmacy (if necessary)
A wonderful view from the sea when you swim - mountains, palm trees, cypresses!!!
The sea and nature are the main characters - fascinating!

I rested here from August 14 to August 20, 2024, I liked everything - the food, the attitude of the staff, the tactful and timely cleaning of the room, the choice of excursions right on site. There was a comfortable room in the second building, on the ground floor (there is a tea station, a table, a wardrobe, a double bed, a balcony, in the shower, which is important, there is an electric heated towel rail). You need to buy water in the room, but there are shops nearby. I read negative reviews about the dining room before the trip, they are not justified, since the queues are created by the vacationers themselves, who take a long time choosing and applying dishes. The dining room is clean, the food is excellent, the selection of dishes is large, the staff is attentive. The hotel is for a relaxing holiday, children do not interfere, there is no animation and this is a plus, there are many cafes with live music nearby. I will be happy to return here, the incredible nature of Abkhazia and the reverent attitude of the indigenous people to it are admired. Thanks to the hotel staff for a wonderful stay.

It was the first time we were in this place as a family. We liked it here, the sea is just a minute away, the beach is clean, there are sun beds. The food is canteen-style, but quite tasty. You are unlikely to stay hungry. But I must say right away, if you are used to 5 stars, most likely this place will not suit you in terms of food. We had a nice room. Yes, there were some flaws, but they were minor and did not spoil our rest. The room was cleaned every day, the linen was changed 2 times in 9 days. We rested at this hotel in August, in a new building.We really liked it, everything is clean, new renovation, soft beds,clothes dryer, air conditioning,TV,cleaning every day,very friendly staff!We were also satisfied with the food, everything was fresh and delicious, there were always desserts and fruits.The area is very beautiful with a fountain.There is a playground, in the evening children always enjoy playing on it.The price-quality in this hotel is consistent.We would have come back again!)

My favorite holiday home in Gagra! I've been here 4 times, in different room categories and buildings.
Naturally, I advise you to stay in the 1st building, where the reception is. The rooms here are fresh, the balconies are great. The standard with a balcony category A is a direct view of the sea, but as such it is not visible, because cypresses and palm trees grow in front, most likely it is a view of the fountain. The standard with a category B balcony is the same as in category A, only located slightly on the sides of the facade, so the windows immediately rest against the growing cypresses. The standard with a category C balcony is a view of the main road of Gagra, but you can also count on the mountains, the balconies here are loggias, glazed. With the windows closed, the noise does not interfere.
Building 2 is older, but the rooms are updated, everything is clean. The hall on the ground floor is of the Soviet past), balconies in all rooms with iron bars, as in the old five-story buildings, the furniture on the balcony is the simplest plastic. Junior Suite with balcony - in fact, with a glazed loggia, which is simply visually highlighted, there is no wall between the loggia and the bedroom, there is a plastic table and chairs. The standard with a balcony is smaller than the Standard in 1 building, the furniture is all updated, even smelled of fresh wood, the only nuance that may not be in all rooms in this building is that the shower was rebuilt, this is a plus, but a minus that there is no pallet and wall that would prevent water from flowing through the whole bathroom.
In general, I can't say anything bad about the 2nd building. Purely visually, if you do not like iron balconies, then it is better to choose 1 building.
In both buildings, the rooms have beach towels, a mini-refrigerator, a safe, a clothes dryer, a kettle, but there are no tea bags and sugar, no slippers and bathrobes. In the bathroom there are bags of shampoo, shower gel, soap, hair dryer.
The territory of the holiday home is small, but sooo green, surrounded by palm trees and cypresses. There is a small playground. There is a dining room on the seashore that looks like a restaurant, and in summer there is even an outdoor terrace where you can eat. In the cold season, the terrace is closed. The choice of food is sufficient, everything is delicious. The coffee is instant, but not bad. If you need a coffee machine, there is a lobby bar in the 1st building, where you can buy coffee for an additional fee. During the season, there are naturally queues for food, but practice shows that if you come a little later than the start time of the meal, then the queue is minimal. The food is being reported.
Also on the seashore there is a separate small building, which houses the two-room Luxury category (Sleep by the sea).
The beach is clean, beach equipment in the summer is included in the price. On the beach, you can take a boat ride or rent a sap. From the water, the holiday home looks even more picturesque)

They took everything inclusive, the food was fine, the meat dishes were delicious, porridge for half with water, milk, desserts and pastries, there was little choice, whoever managed to eat it, they would bring more condensed milk to the question, they said no) there was a cake, they said there was no more of it either) the queue is constantly in the dining room, rotavirus is everywhere, they warned us on arrival, but they do not fight it in any way, the receptionists do not behave hospitably in hotels at the reception, we arrived, approached the counter, and they tell us what they wanted? Upon departure, they did not even say goodbye, there was no promised bottled water in the room, they said this service was not provided, downstairs at the bar, the seller was constantly absent, the room was dirty, the shower cabin really had a small side and water everywhere, they did not wash by any means to remove at least odors, dampness, hoods no, midges, shampoo and soap were put in one bag each and this is for a week, the cleaning is terrible, they don't know about the corners, and they don't wash the floors either, they will sweep away with a rag in the middle and that's it, the spouse was sick with rotavirus, lay down, the cleaner came, opened the door without asking, he lies, she says, I I thought there was no one, I kicked him out into the street to clean up, the boorish attitude is everywhere

There is a kettle, a hairdryer, and a refrigerator in the room. Separately, about the dining room, the food is very tasty and varied, if something ends up being added immediately. And the fact that the queue, people, well, you stand for 10 minutes, it's okay. In the restaurant, you will also not be immediately served. The dining room is very clean, dishes, tables - no complaints. The sea is generally a few steps away, what else is needed for a holiday. The only thing is, there is no movement here. It's a long walk to the Old Gagra embankment and it's a long way to New Gagra, 300 rubles by taxi, but minibuses run.
The hotel is suitable for a relaxing holiday, I recommend it. The territory is very green, there are many benches, a fountain with lighting, a playground. Everything is great. Thanks to the staff for making our vacation carefree.

A small, but very kind and sweet place. The food is like in the dining room - healthy, tasty, varied. In the building where the reception is very decent repair, the second one is of course more victorious, more comfortable, but they do not hide it when booking in the photo. The trees on the territory are of fabulous height and beauty. And there are very cool paragliders working there, they find you on the beach, it's unforgettable. We will definitely return, but there may be very few sun beds in the season. We went on 01.06, there were few people, it had already accumulated when we left. We visited this holiday home last year and this year. A very cozy place, beautiful territory, its own beach (there are enough sun loungers for everyone, the hotel provides beach towels).
The dining room was moved to the Crab restaurant - this is a big plus. There were always places in the dining room, there were queues at the distribution, but this was at the beginning of breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is homemade.
This year, they did not put water in the rooms - this is a minus.
Last year (2023) the second building was renovated, the furniture is all new.
There is no animation for children. There is a children's playground on site.
There are shops and a pharmacy 2 minutes from Chelyuskintsev.

We had a rest from September 18 to 24, 2024. We lived in the second building, a junior suite. We had a rest for the May holidays with a large family. A wonderful hotel. The first (main) building looks much more presentable from the outside than the second. Inside and there, and there is a fresh renovation, everything is thought out, a bunch of sockets, a huge TV, kettle, hair dryer, mini fridge. The furniture and bedding are new and comfortable. A very pleasant maid who does a great job and is friendly.
The Uzbeks who work in the service are also above all praise - everything is clean, they are very friendly.
The territory is not large, but very well maintained, clean, many benches, a fountain, a playground.
The dining room is varied and most of the food is delicious. At the peak of the festive arrivals, they stopped laying out fruits, pastries, sour cream. The rest of the time, in the first half hour, it was an hour.
Now the cons (maybe he will read the manual and change it).
Only one receptionist works professionally at the reception. The other girls behave as if you are asking them to borrow money (they are arrogant and do not try to help).
There are clearly not enough mugs in the dining room. They ended regularly. Moreover, the rest of the dishes are over enough.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel!

An ordinary boarding house. The territory is small, but well maintained, its own beach with sun loungers. There are good changing rooms and showers on the shore. The new building is beautiful, the old building of the Soviet department. Maybe the repairs have already been done. They cook very tasty, a variety of menus, even delicious milk porridges. I took off one star for being deceived with the pool - the site indicates that there is a pool, when communicating by phone, they also assured that there is. But in fact, no, it turned out that the pool in the boarding house is nearby, and we can swim there for two hours a day for a fee on a voucher, that is, we still need to go to the neighboring boarding house. The pool was important to us because we arrived in May, the sea is still cold. Disappointed by this moment, there was no desire to go anywhere.

Oksana, a woman, helps to catch minibuses, organizes excursions, always tells you where it is better to go. The rooms are clean, cleaned every day. They put clean water. The room has a kettle, hairdryer, TV.

We stayed at the hotel from 7 to 11 May 2024.
In terms of price-quality ratio, a solid five, there are many places in Abkhazia where we have stayed with something to compare!
We lived in the 1st building on the 3rd floor, the room had a balcony and a view of the sea, although the sea was almost invisible because of the cypresses!)) the room had everything you needed, cleaned every day, the mattresses and bedding were in good condition, the only downside was the low water pressure in the shower, although our friends in the other room had everything in order with the pressure!
The food is a buffet with a small diet, but everything is edible! And you need to come early, if you come later, desserts or any of the dishes may end, sometimes I observed that the chefs had to cook dumplings or dumplings in a hurry, and instead of casseroles and pancakes, treat the guests with halva, and sometimes there were problems with boiling water! This is the case where the saying comes up - who gets up early, God gives him, I recommend coming to the start of the meal point!)
There is parking and a recreation area on the territory of the hotel, the sea is very close in 30 seconds walk from the main building!
The hotel is suitable for living, on the territory of the neighboring hotel there is an excellent spa with a swimming pool, hammam and Finnish steam room, for a fee!
I give the hotel a solid four, there is something to refine and improve, but compared to many hotels in Abkhazia, this is a great option for a holiday!!

An excellent boarding house for visiting "off-season" . We bought through a tour operator- we got a favorable price with full meals- let's say for a very adequate price (1 adult + a child of 8 years old with 3 meals a day for 7 days-25.8 thousand rubles)-norms, the choice is small, but it is quite possible to eat! There have always been local lemons and oranges! The most important thing is a cafe-dining room with a magnificent view of the sea. We worked in the new main building - everything is clean, neat, the elevator ... when the lights were turned off, the generator immediately turned on- in the afternoon only when they turned off for a couple of hours - accordingly, there was no hot water. But we went out and drove all the days, so these shutdowns did not bring us any comfort.
Great location!!!! Novaya Gagra is a 20-minute walk away, and Gagra Market is 45 minutes away. Minibuses run all the time.

The dining room is on the shore with a beautiful view of the sea, the food is delicious. A beautiful courtyard. The hotel is in a very quiet location, but grocery stores and a bus stop are within walking distance. I liked everything very much!

Excellent hotel and service. Cleaning and garbage disposal every day, change of linen and towels every 3 days. The location is good, 2 minutes and a stop in any city of Abkhazia. The girls at the reception are responsive, the area is clean, the beach is well maintained. The cuisine is incomparable, in a week +4 kg 😆 the selection is large and delicious. Cottage cheese casserole is forever in my heart 💝
I recommend this hotel and we will definitely come back!

There is a private beach with a wide strip of sand, the entrance to the water is pebbles. When a child plays in the sand, it becomes noticeable that there are a lot of cigarette butts, napkins and corn kernels. Three chipped dogs live on the beach with all the consequences.
There are always free sun beds.
The territory of the hotel is pretty, but small: a fountain, tall old cypresses.
Room: mountain view is actually a view of the automobile and railway, the mountains are not particularly visible behind the trees. It can be noisy at night with the window open. But the child liked to watch the trains)
The shower is built so that there is always a puddle on the floor, the slope is not towards the drain, but into the center of the room.
The number looks normal. Springs are sticking out of the mattress. There is a kettle and a fridge. Air conditioning in the room with dehumidification function, with local high humidity, this is a plus. WiFi is unstable.
The food is delicious. The food is disgusting: all the food is in one place, which is why you have to queue for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And all it would be possible to make several islands and save guests from queues. In the evening, this piglet with food is still not highlighted in any way, there are no names of dishes, you put something on a plate for good luck. In general, the staff at the hotel are mostly young people, they look like they were sent to practice from school. The young people in the canteen don't know what I'm changing today, and the bartender at the bar doesn't know how to cook cappuccino or Americano. There is only instant coffee in the canteen. The maids are older and more friendly and responsive and solve all issues quickly

He lived in building 1....a cozy modern room on the 4th floor, daily cleaning was done conscientiously. Bed linen was changed every 3 days. There are tea mugs and the kettle itself, but there are no tea bags or sugar or anything. The strangest thing in the room and in the whole hotel is that there is no drinking water in the coolers in bottles. This is supposedly the concept of this hotel.This is the only aspect corresponding to the stated 3 ke.
The territory is small, well-groomed, beautiful and clean. In 5 minutes you walk around slowly. The tour operator, when buying the tour, gave information that there is a dance floor on the territory..restaurant beach bar all of the above may be there, but not in this holiday home for sure. There are no events . Entertain yourself as much as you can...if the rains are even boring.
Canteen...This is nonsense. One reassured that the quality of cooking was normal. But there is always a huge queue (in general, the administration did not think about how to feed so many people) The declared Buffet looks like a simple eatery...if you come later, so as not to stand in line for 20-25 minutes until you get to the distribution...I didn't get the meat several times...there is always one chicken, sometimes very rarely meat with gravy. In the morning you also come later, there is no butter until you tell the young people several times they don't see. If the butter is still brought, then the meat is not...They say no more. For breakfast, white bread instead of a loaf.I got used to toast with a loaf at home - I had to endure it. The food is always the same. Coffee in the morning in the form of powder sometimes also tended to run out. The food hall is teeming with cockroaches, it sweeps off its table several times. They were standing in line with a woman swept to the floor . Where the local SES is looking.A very unpleasant fact.
The beach is one large pebble without corals, the depth is very inconvenient almost immediately. There are enough sun beds. I arrived for 3 days, there were umbrellas, then everything was removed and put away...The season is over. There are 2 tennis tables. There are changing rooms and showers. There are beach towels in each room.
It seems that he described everything that was painful. Electricity is cut off 3 to 5 times a day. At the same time, the TV stops showing and the Internet disappears. It takes 10 minutes to recover. The generator starts immediately, the light practically does not disappear.

Wonderful hotel I'm resting here now at 19.10 the rooms are warm , TV with 10 Russian channels , cleaning every day , meals for 5 , tangerines , melon , orange , banana . The sea is nearby, excursions are nearby and a 5+ woman is sitting at the hotel.. Near the bus stop shops from 9 am there is everything you need beer, wine, etc. JAV hotels have a bar. For the first time in October 224, I visited the pearl of the Caucasus - Abkhazia! We stayed in Gagra, in the DO im. Chelyuskintsev. A wonderful place! We were housed in 2 buildings, a good double room with 3 meals a day according to the system : all inclusive. Thank you, the cook and all the staff for the delicious and unique breakfasts, lunches and dinners! Our cheerful team was very pleased and happy with your dishes, your fruits and pastries!!!
