Unfortunately, we are completely disappointed in this hotel. The attitude of the staff leaves much to be desired. Upon arrival at the hotel, everything went wrong right away. Our reservation was cancelled, we waited with a small child until the problem was sorted out (we arrived at 19:45, we checked into the room only at 22.15) A broken cot was brought an additional place for the child. As a result, the issue was resolved the next day when I complained to my tour operator.The bed linen has never been changed for 10 nights of stay. The child was never provided with towels. The room was cleaned only after you asked.The food is monotonous, you don't want to eat it on day 3 ((( I put a star only for nature, the sea and the appearance of the hotel. We were going to rest and did not want to spoil our nerves by fighting with the staff. But there is no desire to go there anymore.... We had a rest in July.

We stayed at the Europa Hotel from 09/13/2022 to 09/22/2022. The room was standard for three adults, one large bed and an extra bed. The room is not large, but tolerable) the room has a TV, hairdryer, soap, shower gel. There is a kettle and an iron on the floor. The cleaning consisted of taking out the garbage, the towels were never changed. There are a lot of people. The food is not bad, there have always been fruits. We didn't swim in the pool, but they say the water is warm there, it works until 22-00. There is a cafe on site, it's boring in the evening. The beach is 7-10 minutes away, you need to go down to the water by an iron ladder, large pebbles. There are sun beds and umbrellas, but not enough for everyone, someone was sunbathing on pebbles), the sea is clean, cool. Near the hotel there is a beautiful embankment, a Ferris wheel, an amusement park, many cafes, a Pyaterochka store. We rode gazelles ourselves to old Gagra, New Athos, Sukhum, Pitsunda, the locals always help us navigate, they always tell us how to get there. No matter how careful they were, but everyone took turns catching rotavirus, if anything, immediately contact a doctor (he is on the 2nd floor) will advise you what to buy at a local pharmacy. I want to share reviews about this hotel.We had a rest from 08/09/2013 to 08/16/2013. We paid 117,000 for a ticket for two, we had a room like a suite. I'm afraid to imagine what other rooms, if it's a suite. To begin with, there are just landfills around the hotel from all sides. It stinks of dead meat, no one cleans up the garbage. You leave the hotel and refuse in the trash. The hotel is supposedly located on the 1st coastline, but it takes 10 minutes to walk to the sea at best. The sea and the beach are a separate story. During the week of rest, I managed to swim in a normal sea 1 time. And all this is due to the fact that it is on our beach that sewage sludge pours into the sea from some kind of sewer and after the night rains that were here almost every night, the sea turned into just a swamp, both in color and smell. Next, about nutrition. The dining room is a detached building. There is no variety, we waited all week for the only delicious dish that we tried on the first evening, these are homemade dumplings, but we did not wait for them. The food is meager, tasteless, everything is over-dried and cherished, it seems that it is being prepared for several days at once. At the entrance to the dining room, it stinks of rotten rags mixed with bleach, after such aromas you no longer want to eat. There is nothing on the tables except napkins. Salt, sugar, loose coffee, everything is poured into plates from which you need to take a spoon. What century are we in anyway? Coffee is only instant, sweets are some kind of incomprehensible biscuits and that's it. There is not even free drinking water in the hotel!!! Welcome one bottle in the room and that's it. And that's all inclusive. Then either buy 5 liters on the ground floor for 250 rubles, or drag from the nearest five for 78 rubles.That's what we did. Next, rooms and cleaning. During the week of rest, the bed was changed once. I had to beg for toilet paper every time I saw the cleaners. The towel is not changed at all. In short, friends, think for yourself whether such a vacation is worth the money.
Fruits were always one of the advantages for lunch and dinner. Watermelons, melons once, oranges. The air conditioning was working well in the suite. That's all.
This hotel is one solid minus. It's a pity to spend money and vacations on this hotel.

A new hotel, only 2 years old, as built. Attentive and friendly staff. Maids are "chemical" with shampoos and gels: you have to ask. The dining room is in a detached building. The kitchen is excellent, a large selection of dishes for every taste, fruits for lunch and dinner. They also come for breakfast. The buffet. There is a private beach with free umbrellas and sun beds, but you have to walk 500 meters to it. A nice detail: folding clothes dryer. The rooms and the hallway are carpeted. Cozy, clean, there is a kettle and an ironing board on the floor. I liked everything. I recommend the hotel for a vacation.

Of the cons:the staff is not friendly, there is no shelf or mirror in the bathrooms. This is very inconvenient. The plums in the shower are full. We were almost flooded. We moved to another room. The food in the dining room is monotonous, not very tasty, there is practically no fruit. 2 times a week there was a watermelon and an orange. Teaspoons and salt shakers are missing as a class. And of course, we have captured the rotavirus that everyone is warning about. 2nd day of vacation. In fact, only good rooms and the proximity of the sea are among the advantages.

We had a rest from 07/29/12 to 08/27/12. There were two feelings left! Among the advantages: a good room (suite), a long time ago, good food - everything is homemade, without frills, but you will not stay hungry. Very cool guys are animators, especially Vanya)))) There are only three animators, but they try very hard and they succeed, they entertain not only children, but also adults. There is a cafe on the territory, a buffet at the reception (24-hour), perhaps that's all! Cons: the beach is narrow (2 sun loungers wide), there are few sun beds, at 9 am it is almost impossible to find a free, bad entry into the sea, jet skis and small yachts are constantly floating near the shore, almost over their heads! But the worst thing about the hotel is the creepy ROTOVIRUS!!! You can approach any vacationer who has been on vacation for more than 2 days and everyone has digestive problems! The water in the pool does not change from the word at all and they most likely cook not from bottled water, hence the rotovirus! By the way, they do not hide this, because at the reception there is an announcement "beware of rotovirus". My health has been seriously shaken after my stay at this hotel! I do not recommend this hotel!!!

I would like to express my gratitude on behalf of myself and the whole family for providing wonderful service to the staff of the hotel and the dining room. Our arrival was in the period from 09.06.22 to 06.19.22 in rooms 225 and 226. There were no problems at the time of check-in. In the room, 2 flights were prepared for us, which were changed daily along with bed linen. Also on a daily basis, cleaning cleaned the rooms and left soap, shower gel, toilet paper. The reception staff is polite and attentive. They asked for a pot for the baby, it was brought literally 10 minutes later to the room. 1 time there was no light in the room, after applying at the reception, an electrician came and fixed the problem in 5 minutes. They respond very quickly to requests. By the way, the blackout didn't really upset us, even if the problem dragged on, there is always something for adults and children to do on the territory of the hotel. There is a warm (heated) swimming pool, a playground for children with toys, and in general the territory is decorated with flowers, and many convenient benches give you the opportunity to admire nature, including the mountains, which are located very close. The territory as well as the hotel is clean, there is no garbage. The distance to the sea from the hotel is not very long, 150-200 meters. There are many shops along the way with very loyal prices, some products are even lower than in Russia. In cafes and bars, you can not expensively and deliciously eat shish kebab cooked in a large piece and khachapui (this is what we liked).
I would also like to thank Marina, the canteen administrator, for the precise organization of work like a Swiss watch. The tables after the visitors do not stand for a minute, as the guys quickly wash them and treat them with alcohol. The food at the distribution does not have time to end, as the staff brings more marmites with food. There were no problems with boarding, during the start of the dinners, Marina helped all the guests with seating, orienting and escorting them to free tables. This is the same leader aimed at maximum hospitality, which is noticeable on the staff of the canteen, which pleased us day after day.
In general, the impression was very good, we will definitely visit you again!

A great, modern, comfortable and beautiful hotel! The staff was responsive and polite, they responded quickly to all our requests, and the room was cleaned regularly. The buffet was varied and delicious, and there was always enough, the staff in the dining room tried very hard. The territory is large and well maintained. The sea is 5 minutes away. Nearby there is everything you need - a market, shops, cafes, pharmacies. Wi-Fi is available in the rooms and throughout the property. We are very satisfied with the hotel! 👍

We rested from August 13 to August 19. There are no complaints about the placement. It's terrible about nutrition. Each of the 4 people was poisoned or caught the virus. The food is tasteless, monotonous, fruits - plums as a mockery. The staff in the same gloves treats tables and chairs with antiseptic, and then goes to fix the food on the display. Instant coffee is poured into a large plate, after 10 people there is already a mess. Salt is in a plate, of course, it is no longer possible to salt it. They don't know about salt shakers on the tables there. Speaking of nutrition, I am very glad that the vacation was short. But it's sad to pay a lot of money and dream of leaving faster. Separately about the territory. There are two garbage dumps behind the fence. There is an observation deck on the 11th floor. You go out and it takes your breath away, but you let go of your eyes and see a garbage dump. I understand small hotels, small businesses, but such a large hotel could take better care of the territory.

I'll start from the beginning. We are resting in this hotel right now. It boiled over so much that I want to speak out right now. We checked into the SUITE on 07/16/23 (I will note the SUITE, perhaps this should not play a role, but I will pay attention to it) and immediately, in the first minutes of our check-in, the faucet does not work, that is, it just moved away and hangs, in order to wash, we had to keep it on our own. Well, it doesn't happen to anyone, anything happens, they came and fixed it. And, as it seemed to me, the water does not always flow warm. I decided not to pay attention to it, I thought it seemed to me, but for the 5th day in a row, the tap water has been pouring, the rain is dripping faster on the street, and then it's just unbearable, moreover, ONLY COLD WATER is pouring, hot water is missing as a species, it simply does not exist.
Food. Before booking, I read reviews about food, mostly there were reviews by the type that there are not always enough clean plates / forks / spoons, etc., there were no problems with this. The main problem is the LACK of any variety of food. It's the same thing every day. The food is exactly the same. Maybe I'm being picky, but it's better for people to have an understanding of what to expect. I have to look for a place to eat for dinner, because I'm just tired of eating the same things. In addition, I will say that all food is buttery.
It may seem insufficient to someone for such a low estimate, but keep in mind that this is not taken out of thin air, this is a statement of fact. A score of 2⭐️ is the most decent score.

A very decent hotel. We rest from 05.07. To 07/25/2022. We were extremely unlucky with the weather, and it would have been even worse if it hadn't been for the beautiful hotel - the pool is clean, heated conscientiously, the pool was warm. Animation for children is like a magic wand! Many thanks to the animators: Vika, Katya and Vanya - greetings from Roma and Tanya!
The food is good, tasty, there is a lot of it, but somewhat monotonous (but this is in 3 weeks: if you go for 10 days, then the fire), the dining room is clean, the staff is polite, responsive, there have never been any "disorders".

Of the cons, the hotel is new, new trees have been planted, respectively, they are low, because of this the territory looks empty, in a couple of years it will be cool. The playground is small, it would be cool to have a bigger playground on such a territory of the hotel. I stayed at the Europa Hotel from May 21 to May 28, 2022. Originally there was a standard room with a mountain view. The view is great, but a house is being built nearby. In addition, music from nearby cafes (ORA, Bamboo) can be heard strongly. Administrators try to help, but not everyone is competent. I would like to celebrate Sabina. She was understanding and helped to replace the room with a view of the pool and the sea. There is music here too, but with interruptions. They don't turn on late. It's a good repertoire, but there's no one here. Raul and Ruslan are very friendly guys. The room is cleaned by the maids every day. They wanted to change the linen, but I refused myself. If there is a sign on the door, then they can knock anyway....and so the workers are trying..The hotel is new and modern. Cosmetic repairs are underway with all the consequences.. if you love silence, it can get in the way. The territory is small, there are many plantings (trees, roses). There is no animation. The pool is great. The water in it is warm, it is cleaned daily. The dining room deserves praise. The work is well-coordinated, well-organized. It's nice to be here! A lot of credit for this belongs to the administrator Marina. A person knows his job completely, tries to improve the atmosphere for guests, is always ready to help in all matters from small to large. Undoubtedly enjoys the respect of the team! And what a delicious meal..everything is at home...I wanted to try everything))... special thanks to the chefs!! The young guys who look after cleanliness are also grateful from the bottom of their hearts. I liked the hotel in general. The pool at the hotel is dirty (water), during the vacation I was afraid to swim there, so as not to get enough rotovirus. Special attention should be paid to the dining room at the hotel, I watched a couple of times how people fought for food, snatching ladles from each other and shouting why are you climbing without a queue! We had a rest with a friend from June 8 to June 16 at the Europa hotel. We had a great rest. We lived in a room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Beautiful view of the gorgeous sea. I do not know who writes these laudatory reviews. We had a vacation in July with a child. The food is just disgusting, cold, the same thing every day. What kind of food is offered to small children remains a mystery to me. It's just a flophouse. There is no entertainment. The beach is not cleaned from the hotel, it is dirty. Umbrellas are dead, sun beds are broken a lot. There was no water or light all day. The hotel administration does not engage in dialogue. The staff at the reception does not intend to talk and solve your questions either, they have other tasks. We went to the medical center with a child-we did not receive help, we received advice to buy a smart phone. Yes, the hotel is new. All around and everywhere there is a solid dump and dirt. People are throwing up en masse and diarrhea- and this is not a fantasy or an exaggeration!

We rested from 08/28/22 to 09/3/12. There were conflicting feelings about the hotel, let's start with the pros:
1- the hotel is modern, new
2-three meals a day
3-large swimming pool
4-excellent organizers of "good mood"
5- availability of animators for children
6-not a bad beach
Now the cons:
1-upon check-in, they found hair and dirty mattresses, lack of a blanket, soap, etc. (I don't want to blame the maids -the human factor is everywhere), but the administrators did not make any apologies, they did not quickly correct the subordinate staff
2-muddy water in the pool, it's scary to swim. Especially when you see that the administrator washes his hands and feet in it.
3- monotonous menu, annoying on the 3rd-4th day.
4-comfort class rooms (without balcony) are located only on the ground floor of the tour hotel. the operator did not give this information. Economy and standard already with balconies
General tips: stock up on medicines for intestinal diseases- rotovirus does not bypass many people. Homemade wine has little in common with wine. I don't know why, with such a tourist flow, Abkhazia, namely resort towns, are not developing (garbage everywhere, a lot of unfinished buildings)

It is unlikely that we will return here, we may come to Gagra again, but not to this hotel. Abkhazia is a wonderful country, with wonderful nature, definitely worth a visit. Of the cons: the whole family got sick with rotovirus, 2 adults and 2 children. They couldn't swim in the pool, the smell of chlorine was very strong, to the point of nausea. But many people swam, maybe we are so picky. The food in the dining room is good, but there is not enough variety, only cookies or biscuits from sweets, you will not die of hunger, but after a week you do not want anything. The room was standard with a balcony, 8th floor, everything is in order, the hooks in the bathroom were glued themselves. The sea is warm in late July and early August, but after 3-4 meters it is already very deep.

Our week-long vacation was hopelessly ruined, we rested at this hotel from 01.08. To 07.08., but we did not stay until the end, packed up and left, terrible hotel, terrible service, no food at all, from the word at all. Since I am a person from the Caucasus, I am used to eating delicious food, "food" that is in this hotel, but it looks like balanda and animal food, with black potatoes in soup, sticky rice and pasta, I have never seen in my life that stewed pork was served hot, and even more what kind of pork is not in this pork except salt and bell pepper! You can only eat boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes and fried potatoes, they probably don't know! Even with a small amount of food, you can make delicious food! The plates are all broken! after 2 days of eating, everyone came down with poisoning and except for the toilet in the room, we did not see anything! The cleanliness in the rooms leaves much to be desired, there were splashes of toothpaste on the bathroom door and the mirror, someone's hair was hanging on the hair dryer, when asked by the bookcase what it was, she answered instead that I would clean it, she said that it was probably you! There is no cup for toothpaste and a brush in the bathtub, there is no hanger either, you think where to put things all the time to swim! There is no Wi-Fi, it is only on the ground floor, everything above the Internet is not there! Maybe because of the name Europe, there were constant shutdowns of water and light, but in Europe they save money and there are rolling blackouts! And in general, it felt like you were stuck with these people and wanted something from them, and for free! There is no service at all! Prices in this non-diamond market are exorbitantly high, it is impossible to eat kebabs from cafes because it stinks of burnt fat from the grill, which has not been cleaned since its creation! The price of alcohol is also not adequate, for chacha you will pay 500 for 0.5 liters! The beach is generally a separate story with concrete horseradish on the shore and in the water, where a metal pin stuck out, so if you like to dive into the water, this pin is right in front of the stairs that lead from the 2nd tier!
There is a playground on the territory where the descent from the slide leads into the mud and when your child rolls down such a slide, he will turn out to be dirty or dusty!
Reading the reviews about this hotel, that everything is just super, I would doubt it a lot! Be careful when choosing a vacation destination and check the tour operator, even if you have traveled with him for several years in a row!

We have been staying at this hotel since 2.07.2023.
I don't want to come here anymore.
1. Widespread rotavirus.(3-4 days fall out of vacation)
2. There is no hot water in the morning (they probably save money)
3. The iron and kettle are only on the floor, and not as stated in the room.
4. There is nowhere to wash. They asked the maid for a washing basin, she says, we do not have one.
5. There are no shelves for accessories in the bathroom, no hooks for towels. It's very inconvenient.
6. The staff is unfriendly.
7. Dining room - for 3.
There is a lot of noise around the territory, construction sites, even at night, a lot of garbage.
The beaches are dirty, we went to the beach in old Gagra, there is at least some kind of civilization there.
I don't want to come here anymore.

Dirty rooms, the pool is a squalid puddle of milky color, there are no beach towels, they are rude at the reception, the dining room (no, not a restaurant, not a cafe, but a dining room) is just a sample of "how to ruin a vacation", starting from "check in at the entrance", continuing "there are no places (yes, yes, we came not in time - go for a walk until the table is free), do you want tea? - There are no mugs! And if you are lucky enough to grab a mug, welcome to the queue, because there is 1 thermopod with 2 taps for the whole crowd. But if you want compote, welcome to the queue for compote (yes, 2 jugs for the whole crowd!) The menu is monotonous and you will not see any national shade except spices!
The territory of the hotel is * tiny* there is stupidly nowhere to go and there is nothing! A small-scale playground, with half-worn carabiners on a swing, the rest of the swings are stupidly torn. Elevators deserve special attention, they either don't work or go the wrong way when you call.
Private beach, haha. The line is 5-7 meters long and 30, maximum 40 meters wide with abundantly scattered old concrete buoys, again, did not arrive on time - there are no places.
There has been no hot water for several days, power outages, and sometimes there is no cold water.
I don't advise anyone to come here!
