We stayed at the Europa Hotel from May 24 to June 3. It's okay, animation for children is a little weak, well, this is certainly not Turkey. Plus the room, clean and aesthetically pleasing, we had a sea view. The wreck really spoiled the view, but we tried not to notice it. The worst memories are connected with the road to the sea and the dining room. It's not very good to go to the sea in mud, but the child was crowded right in the dining room on the 2nd day, me on the penultimate, I ran to the toilet all night. Otherwise, everything was fine, there are no disadvantages for the hotel, there are more disadvantages outside it, but this is a completely different story. People want to make money)))

We rested at the hotel from 1.07.23 to 12.07.23. A normal hotel, for your money. Probably like three stars. There is no direct variety in food, but everything is edible. However, on the 4th day of our stay there, we already looked at the neighboring cafes). It is very strange that there are no salt and pepper shakers on the tables. Salt and pepper are on hand, but they are in large plates and it would be more convenient to have them on the tables. As we wrote earlier, there are no shelves in the bathroom, it is not convenient without them, but it is not critical. We lived on the ground floor. There is no Internet connection. This summer we decided to have a rest in Abkhazia, looking at Europe. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was very large and well furnished. The service was excellent: cleaning was carried out daily, toiletries were added if necessary, and the staff did their job efficiently. Thanks a lot for that. The hotel itself is clean. The food is without frills, but there is a delicious choice. The only thing is that the territory is still under development. There is little greenery and not enough activity on the territory. But in general, I liked my vacation in Europe and in Abkhazia in general.

About the cons: from the very beginning, the unfriendly administrator, there is generally a feeling that you are not particularly welcome. Everywhere there are announcements about rampant rotavirus, and indeed most of the guests grab this infection, according to their own feelings, the reason is in the dining room because half-washed dishes leave a sticky feeling on their hands, the pool has nothing to do with it because the son who did not go to the pool got sick, the sea is also unlikely because it was not very warm in October and they went swimming away from the cluster people. In fairness, it should be noted that the food is quite diverse fruits were present figs persimmons grapes apples are always milk kefir condensed milk sour cream.The territory is not bad, But since the trees have recently been planted, there is little shade as soon as you leave the hotel you get into a landfill everywhere there is dirt, garbage, some ruins and ruin. The food is monotonous but kind of okay. The beach is a full paragraph! There are rebar and fragments of concrete blocks all around. There is no way to get to the promenade from the hotel's beach - destroyed concrete blocks block the way. There is monotonous music by the hotel pool, the same record every day, you can't do without headphones on day 3 - the brain will boil. Queues at the reception. There are a lot of small children. There is an animation. The building itself is good - it has not been tired since 2021. It's good for a 3 star hotel.

We had a vacation in Europe from June 18-23. We were placed on the 6th floor. The air conditioning was not working in the room.. It was very hot. The masters promised us two days. We were bitten by some insects. After this incident, we were moved to the 3rd floor. There is no hair dryer in the hotel room.

A great hotel, I come to it for the second time (not in my rules, go to the same place twice), but EVERYTHING is fine here, there are not big disadvantages: there are no hooks and shelves in the toilet-shower, changing linen for 5 days is tolerable, but changing towels for 5 days is creepy! It wouldn't be bad to give out beach towels.
Very tasty and varied, home-cooked food!

I do not recommend this hotel.They inhabited us for a very long time. Tired from the road, we stood in line for 3 hours in the stuffy air.
We had a rest from July 8 to July 14. On the second day, they came down with rotavirus, lay for 3 days with fever, vomiting and diarrhea. (almost everyone is sick there!)
During the week, our towels and bed linen have never been changed. We have never washed the toilet or the floors.

We have been vacationing at the Europa Hotel since May 15, a solid four, everything was very right! The hotel is relatively new. Check-in at the hotel from 12.00, but we were checked in at 7 a.m. for an additional fee. Cleaning the room every day, changing bed linen and towels every other day, as well as every day the maid brought shampoo, gel, soap and toilet paper. On the third day of rest, the water was turned off in the morning, but the breakdown was fixed within an hour. The food was very tasty and varied, thanks a lot for that! The territory of the hotel is large and well-maintained, there are many roses and young trees. The staff is working perfectly! During our vacation, the facade was repaired, but all this was fast and almost unnoticeable. It did not cause any special convenience. We didn't go to the pool, the weather allowed us to spend time at sea. There are many shops, cafes around the hotel, as well as a large Gagarin market. In general, we did not regret that our choice fell on the Europa hotel!

We rested at the Europa Hotel from 20.06 to 24.06
The territory is not large, but empty, one place with small plantings and benches (although the whole of Abkhazia is surrounded by greenery ) , the pool is excellent, if not for it, there is nothing to do there, but on the third day I was tired, although the children swam until 22.00 , lighting , music , great!
Food, everything is simple and a lot, buffet, our family had no digestive problems ,
There are enough people in the hotel,
The cleaning of the rooms is a little misunderstood , it has not been carried out for all days , they said , why ? Your place is clean , towels and bed linen have not been changed , this is a minus for the administrator for me .
In general, if you are with children, then you will not be bored, the pool is a huge plus, the Dining room is well done!!!

Yes, porridge for breakfast and soup for lunch are different. But the rest is the same, only with different sauces. Yes, and it would be nothing if they brought it to taste when cooking. No salt or sugar. Yes, you can add it yourself, but those who were there know that this is also a problem))) but the taste is still not the same. But if you need to treat your stomach, you will definitely like it. There was not enough cafe-bar on the territory of the hotel where you can sit in the evening, we went outside the territory, but there are very few places where you can sit quietly with a cocktail, everywhere until 23:00, music is playing very loudly.

The pool is cool enough, but since it was hot outside, it was tolerable in principle. There are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. We had a room with a view of the mountains and these are probably the best rooms: so if you have a view of the garden, then the music is screaming for a long time from the neighboring cafes, the windows on the pool are the noise from the pool and the ruins of unfinished hotels. But the room itself is very small, there were three of us, very crowded. There are no cupboards, shelves, there is simply nowhere to put things, and they were lying in a suitcase. There are no beach towels, it's good that we read the reviews and took them with us. In the room, towels were changed every five days, as well as bed linen, and since they are white, it is clear what they look like. Also, the beach at the hotel did not work until June, but then we never found it, since it is far enough from the hotel...

Guys, it's better not to go to this hotel. There are more minuses than pluses!
Minuses:
1) rotovirus is walking, which in most cases can be obtained in the dining room.
2) The attitude of the staff in the dining room to hygiene. The waiter washes the table with a dirty rag, and then goes to wipe the spoons and forks with the same hand, without any rag or napkin.

In 2022, they decided to return with her husband, both of them have rotovirus and her husband has a coronavirus plus. I decided that the owner will take measures in a year, and in August 2023 we will return. They started vomiting on day 2. And it would be fine if only we! No, they threw up and fucked up the whole hotel! And so the whole vacation (except for those 2 days). Why? We had a rest in August 2023.
The rooms are good. The maid on the 3rd floor is just a miracle. Always clean. Linen change- as expected, in 5 days. She warned me (although some vacationers on other floors had problems with this. They were changed almost with a scandal).
The food is normal, although at the end of the rest I got tired. The assortment is good, but of the same type. Sometimes it was even very tasty.
What "struck" is the disregard, rude and sometimes boorish attitude of the reception staff. Especially the employee Ilya! Rudeness and neglect in the answers, as if we were begging from him, and not bringing income to this hotel! For me, the reception staff is the face of the hotel, and here! Any request is a negative response! Three times they left a request for a broken shower - so no one came to repair it!
The bar staff is just great! Thanks for the super service and delicious cocktails!
In general, the impression is positive!
Due to the reception staff, I lower my rating. I hope the management will work on this area with employees.

We ordered comfort from the picture, and as a result, an ordinary standard with one bed and stools (dirty) on the 1st floor, which is called comfort. Nothing is solved at the reception, everything is blamed on the booking operator. Check-in is only scheduled at 14.00, although it was the first check-in.

We stayed at the hotel from July 04 to July 14. What can I say. I've seen hot water at most three times during my entire vacation. The rooms on the 10th floor are all without water, there is not enough pressure, or the desire to change something. Some fat woman from the staff offered to wash her face and hands with the water that I bought with money and brought to the room. As you understand, there is no drinking water, as well as a cooler on the floor. Even in district clinics, it is everywhere, and in the Europa hotel, instead of it, there is an empty kettle on a tubaret on the floor (not in the room). The ceilings on the 10th floor are 2 meters, there are beams sticking out, against which the husband hit his head every day. There are no shelves in the bathroom, shampoo and gel in the teeth are just to take. The distance to the sea is not close. There are no toilets on the beach, as well as changing rooms, so you don't have to continue about the cleanliness of the sea.... It started to rain, the roof started to leak in the dining room, the already cramped dining room became even smaller, the rest of the area was filled with buckets. There is a narrow door in the dining room, and people come in and out with trays and then come in again with trays with dirty dishes. In general, a whole quest. The food is normal, canteen-like, monotonous. in the end, I got tired of eating it. It wasn't bad at first. The pool is not heated, do not believe that it is heated. This is marketing. You can't wait for the elevator, because the elevators are an order of magnitude less than the norm, and they have a small load capacity, they also saved money. There is a retail outlet on the ground floor, kind of like from the hotel. Prices are like for their own, 3 times more expensive than the store. I asked for a disposable cup a couple of times, they said no, everything is counted. In short, the service sucks completely. Although in general it's not bad, but we paid 187 thousand for a family of 3 people, and this is an early booking, we bought it back in March!! Of course, such a vacation is not worth the money. It should be 2 times cheaper, then it's normal.

We rested in Periud from 07/29/2023 to 08/05/2023, with my husband and children of 14, 17, 19 years old. My husband and I have a suite and the children have a family room (two rooms with separate exits and a door inside that allows you to enter one room or another without leaving the room). The rooms are spacious with balconies. The rooms were cleaned every day, toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, gel) in the suite were provided in the family room with everything except toothpaste and counters!!!
The territory has a lot of young flower trees planted! On the territory there is not a large children's playground with a slide and a high-quality bear (which was lying ragged on the ground), no one has repaired it in five days. A small sports field where you can play football, volleyball, baskitball. The keyword is possible!! The soccer ball is so worn out that it's just a horror, the volleyball net weighs torn and is connected from three torn parts. To our request to the animators: please give me a ball to play, we received the answer that there is no ball, it broke and the management does not allocate money for a new one. There are only small chityrs and small garden tables near the pool to turn gray. There are two large tables with benches near the playground, but you won't sit there much, firstly, the children are small and secondly, from 15:00 to 16:00, they conduct master classes for small children (modeling, drawing). In general, you will not be able to sit with pompania and drink beer on the terrace (there are no places provided for this).
The dining room is something else. They are not allowed to enter the dining room with alcoholic beverages and are not allowed to drink anything from alcohol there!!! The food is of the same type, not of any variety. The horror!!!!! There are no salt pans on the table, there are large bowls with loose salt, pepper, and sugar on the common table . Are you guys saying that a terrible rotovirus was walking along the coast during our vacation!!! There are no antiseptics at the entrance or on the walls!!! For the entire period, there were fruits: watermelon twice, plums once, peaches cut into pieces twice (not even whole). To take a sunbed, you will have to fight for it, since there are more than 500 occupied places in the hotel and the number of residents is even greater. In general, we were at the sea twice and each time we had to wait for the release of at least one sunbed (considering that we arrived at 9:00). The horror!!! That's why we decided to spend the rest of the days on escorts! And so: the Europa hotel is not for a family vacation and not for a vacation with a company, it is rather a pansinate. The rooms and service are excellent. Leisure, entertainment is absent. The dining room, the food is disgusting!! It is worth going on an excursion: cave , Lake Ritsa, canyon, Mount Athos. The nature is amazing, the views are simply mesmerizing. This is the only thing in Abkhazia. I do not recommend the Europa Hotel in Gagra!!!

I rate the hotel itself 5+, clean, well maintained, it looks like a Turkish hotel.It was built recently, so everything is new and beautiful.there is cleaning, but it depends on the cleaners, it was perfect for my parents, not very good for us, I washed the floors myself several times.there is delicious homemade food in the dining room.there are shortcomings, not all rooms have a mirror in the bathroom.this is strange.I would also like to improve the dining room, there is a lady sitting at the entrance and you have to name the room and the number of people each time.if you get sick, you will be given a container.we took turns being sick, and somehow I was reproachfully told that if suddenly my child did not come in the morning, just because he did not want to, then they would not give me a container.the child was lying in bed at that moment and was unable to get up.and they spared me some kind of container...It was unpleasant.the waiters in the dining room are quite agile, rubbing tables all the time and picking up trays.
The topic of rotovirus disease is probably the only thing that ruined the rest!there were 9 of us and everyone got sick, some even in a circle!sewage drains into the sea, just 15 meters from the place where we swim (this is a hotel beach).Guys, there are a lot of sick people in the hotel!!!I've never seen so much.even in pharmacies, it was not always possible to buy polysrb or enteromgel, it was not stupid.the sellers smiled and said they were sick a lot...We need to think about cleaning facilities!because despite the good hotel, I don't want to go again because of the rotovirus!and many people think so, if you want a stable tour flow, then you should think about this problem urgently!so there was a man on the beach who set up sun beds and umbrellas, so it would be worth paying attention to him. at 17.00 he already began to collect umbrellas and sun beds, shifting things from them.everyone was constantly fighting with him.I was lying on top of it once, and I heard how he cursed a girl who just asked to bring a sunbed.unpleasant.because you pay for all the services of the hotel, which in fact are not provided to you.
I want to highlight the work of the girls at the reception, everyone is very pleasant, they immediately responded to requests, we arrived early, paid and we were immediately settled - at night.for which we are very grateful!
