There is a good swimming pool on site (maximum 160cm), but the rest of the entertainment is tight. Almost all the hammocks were broken or stretched. But it gives an incentive to go on excursions more often and go out into the city. Of course Abkhazia is cool, the climate is warm, humid but not stuffy, the Black Sea is certainly not the cleanest - there were often jellyfish near the shore, various garbage.

We had an economy room. The air conditioner was not working. It was very hot in the room. At night, when the window was opened, a lot of mosquitoes flew in and bit us. The toilet was broken - water was constantly running out of it and making noise. The pool looked very dirty from the outside. My child and mother were poisoned in the dining room and did not feel well. The food in the dining room is quite good, apart from poisoning. Several people came up to me and also complained about poisoning. Beer and wine of questionable taste and smell.

I would like to leave an unbiased review. We had a vacation in August with a child. Well, the hotel does not pull for 4 stars. On the plus side: animation, great pool, good staff. Plus the view from the window. Cons: if you take a view of the mountains from the window, then teach that in the evening there will be music from the cafe, until 11 o'clock.loudly. The food is monotonous, for lunch and dinner it is the same, on the third day he can no longer see potatoes, pasta, etc. Everything is very boring. The territory is not large. I will never forget my trip to Gagra. What to say. Unfortunately, I can't say anything good.The Europa hotel is terrible. we arrived in Gagry at 8:00 . but we were only checked in at 14:00. After such a road . few people were interested. That we were tired. OK. Then the rooms are cleaned poorly. The sheets have never been changed in 10 days. Towels. There was a number 2+2. There are always wet dishes and sticky tables in the dining room at the hotel, pigeons fly and immediately defecate on the tables, into the food wherever they get. Food - the food is monotonous and there is very little choice. In the dining room, the dishes are not signed, so people look into bowls of soups and porridges. There are no salt shakers and napkins on the tables. Naturally, people take salt and pepper with their hands (while at the rotavirus hotel), you clean the plates yourself, alcohol is prohibited in the dining room. We haven't been there at all for the last week. For the first two days there was no water in the hotel and there was not even tea in the dining room.
The all-inclusive Abkhazian bar is chacha, wine and beer. The beer is generally not bad. Compote for kids, but it's not delicious, the usual ice cream is a cup. Snacks at the bar are prepared in advance, ostensibly in order to avoid queues, but you can imagine the taste of French fries that stand there for several hours, a burger is just a cutlet with a bun, tomato, cucumber, etc. are missing from it.
The pool is a good large pool with warm water, the bottom of the pool is not smooth, there are enough shizlong, but there are about 10-12 umbrellas for the entire pool and then everything is in terrible condition. In order not to burn out from the sun, you must first occupy it in advance and then keep it, otherwise it will fly away and God forbid it will not get into someone's head.
Beach - walk to the beach for about 7 minutes. It is necessary to walk through the ruins, the construction site, through a pile of junk and garbage. There is not much space on the beach, you need to come early, umbrellas on the sea are just a horror even worse than by the pool. There is not even a toilet on the beach (everyone understands where they relieve themselves), there is no question about a bar.
The service and staff- the room as a whole is not bad, there are no shelves in the bathroom, shampoos were put on the floor, there is nowhere to put toothbrushes either.
There are no beach towels in the hotel. Regular towels are changed for 3 days, not counting the day of arrival, but this is only in theory. In fact, on the 5th day, I understood the towels with the scandal. It turns out that they are simply not enough, similarly with a change of underwear.
For the first two days there was no water from the word at all. When the people came down to the reception, we were told that there was no water in the whole city. We immediately went to the store to get drinking water and all the people standing in line said that there was and is water.
Rotavirus in the hotel is generally a separate story, everyone is sick from the elderly to children, even if you drink medicines in advance, even if you are lying down anyway.
Animation and other entertainment- and they just don't exist. The children's room does not even have tables and chairs, what can we even talk about then. Animators are not clear what they get paid for, they are not visible or audible. There is no equipment, there is practically no music by the pool. The evening program??? Apparently, the animators have never heard of her at all. In the evening, people entertain themselves. Wi-Fi in the territory is terrible, so think in advance about your mobile operator's connection with the outside world.
The hotel has a tour guide, we decided to book a trip to Lake Ritsa from her, as a result, a minibus without air conditioning and a guide who talked about politics half the way.
If it weren't for the company that gathered here, we would have died of boredom and rotavirus.
There is a paid bar at the reception, I make cocktails, there are snacks, ice cream, etc. Timur the bartender , the staff in the communal bar is also responsive. The head of the security service is a very responsive person, he will always help. Special thanks to him 🤝
In general, I do not recommend the hotel, I have never seen a worse hotel, considering that we often rested in our south on an all-inclusive system

We bought a ticket in a comfort 2-bed room with an additional one. a place for very decent money at the price of Turkey, we hoped for a better vacation, but still this is not the vacation we were waiting for. The hotel itself is at an altitude, the rooms are good, only small. All comfort rooms are on the 1st floor, we got a view of the pool, you can go directly out of the room. The pool was expected to be heated (as it is written at the hotel), but unfortunately the heating was not turned on, they said that they had repaired it and it would heat up for 2 days... We went into the pool in icy water, by the way. it is not specified how many degrees. Almost all the hotel guests have had rotovirus and, not surprisingly, very poor cleaning of the dining room and rooms. The food in the dining room is monotonous, the tables are dirty, they did not wipe until we made a remark. The spoons are also dirty, apparently they can't cope with so many positives. The road to the beach leads through sewage drains and it's all in the sea... accordingly. Well, the beach itself: of course there are sun beds and umbrellas, but the view was overshadowed by incomprehensible figures made of rubble. The entrance to the sea is almost immediately deep. The sea is dirty, constant circles from the fuel of motorboats and boats. In general, we went swimming, but we did not manage to have a good rest.

Well, as it is, such a hotel cannot defend itself for its vacationers, I think this is an excuse. There are sanitary acceptable standards for sound power in DCB. Moreover, no one says that they turned it off at all, but you can turn down the volume. Even in small things, this is already, there are not enough salt shakers on the tables in the dining room because the food is not always there. Right there, you can't even call it a diner. The queue for forks, plates and mugs almost started a fight. Are we continuing?! The rooms are a separate place, I'll attach a photo. Of the 5 rooms: one did not open, the second was cold and without hot water at all, the third did not leave the water and flooded the corridor, the fourth with stripped wallpaper (although they are all a little shabby), but the fifth is normal. Well, so-so hit. The staff - the girls at the reception are friendly, but the guy. By the way, which state Department are you in? Checking rooms at check-out? Really? Do you think we need your stained towels? Or are the sheets also unwashed with vomit? Shame on the hotel for that. There are hotels nearby that are much better and with better service and a normal HEATED pool and rooms. The heaters were saved, from which the light was periodically turned off. Oh, yes, wifi. It's good if you don't use it or sit at the reception. There are a lot of nets, but it's not clear where they catch them. I love hotels, but I have no desire to return to this one. 3. The food seems to be nothing, but unsanitary. Tables are not wiped after customers and are disinfected. An employee can go through and wipe all the tables with one rag.
4. Rotovirus, everyone is sick. You pick it up as soon as you enter the hotel. Once again, there is zero disinfection.
Attention rotovirus is written on the dining room window, but there are no preventive measures.
I repented a hundred times that I came here.

We rested for 10 days, we are coming for the second year. The hotel has deteriorated badly since 2023. The hotel was booked back in December 2023 through a travel agency. We asked in advance for an upper floor with a view of the mountains. In fact, they were settled only at 14:30, they were given a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the pool. From morning to evening, music was playing loudly from the speaker, at night, until 2-3 o'clock, drunken hotel visitors on benches near the pool and grill bar made noise and did not let them sleep. The mattress was sagged in the room, the curtain was torn, the door did not lock from the inside, dirty towels. We asked the receptionist at the reception to change the mattress for a good one. The hotel administration just sits, accepts applications, promises something, in fact all our complaints were ignored. We also asked to turn down the music by the pool or move us to the other side, we were refused, although there are plenty of rooms available in hotels. Next, we contacted the travel agency and the hotel reservation service, on the 5th day, apparently we got them specifically and we were moved to another room on the top floor with a view of the mountains. There really wasn't a drain in the shower, they almost flooded the floor from below. But it's useless to complain to the reception, they still don't want to do anything. There is an epidemic of rotovirus in the hotel, everyone we talked to got sick, including us. In the grill bar, the food is not covered with a film, flies are flying. We had a rest in July 2023, we didn't like it from the first hour of check-in.We waited in the hallway for 3 hours, as the room was not cleaned yet. I arrived alone with a small child. During the day, I put the child to bed at the same time and at that moment the cleaner was constantly knocking, of course the room was not cleaned for several days. I asked her to clean up at another time during the day, but she replied that she had a lot of people like me and she couldn't constantly run back and forth. Rotavirus started on the 5th day of our vacation, we went home with this rotavirus. Then they were treated for 2 more weeks. When my child vomited and did not get off the toilet, I called the reception and asked for food to be brought to our room, of course no one brought it. At the Reception, even in principle, the guy did not justify himself.I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The towel did not change at all during our stay.They feed normally in the dining room, but for that kind of money you can cook better.

I'm writing from a terrible Wi-Fi, it almost doesn't catch anywhere, even if there are 3 sticks, don't rely on it, after twelve at night, more or less watch the video.
TV: the channel can turn off at any moment, then turn off and turn on the TV and the same thing again.
The pool was just as disappointing as possible: it rained all May and had fun in the pool, and on May 4 it suddenly became cold, but they tell us that it warms up on the thermometer as much as 28! It feels like a maximum of 20!
There is not a single shelf in the bathroom, if you take one towel to the pool, then the second small one remains for bathing, and one for the legs and that's it.
The rooms are normal, the bed linen is clean and towels too, the light is only from the lamps, one of them does not work.
The food is normal and varied, there are no desserts, only a dry biscuit every day, there is a baking shop next to the dining room, where everything is dry and tasteless.
If the Windows overlook the pool, music and screeching in the morning and until 22.00.
Alcohol is normal, pour until 22.00
