There is nowhere to go around, we rode a boat with a motor on the canal, took a taxi to the City Center (20 min). The hotel is beautiful, the room is normal, the sea view from the balcony is soothing. The food in the hotel restaurant is delicious and varied, the quality is much better than in the surrounding catering establishments. The hotel staff is responsive, did not leave a single question without attention. At this time of the year at night up to +18C, in the morning the sand is cool, when the sun rises, it is already easier, +29C. The water in the sea is invigorating, there are fish. For lovers of different drinks, you need to go to the store: we leave the hotel from the parking lot to the left, do not cross the road, skip the first alley and go into the second, in front of the Ajman Sarai hotel, and turn left inside, the store is already visible there. Tourists from Dubai and Sharjah come to this store. The prices in the store are quite reasonable, the hotel also has everything, but it is very expensive. The hotel has a heated swimming pool, there is a children's "paddling pool", you can take a jet ski ride on the beach. You do not need to make a deposit upon check-in; if you have half board, you can change dinner for lunch, you need to pay for drinks, in theory.... When checking in at 3 a.m., at the reception, Otabek said that we had an unused dinner of 300 dirhams left for the family. We ordered dinner in the room for 380 dirhams, the waiter said that the deposit would be refunded to us. Upon eviction, it turned out that it was necessary to order dinner on the night of arrival, and not after breakfast and lunch. Tell me: who wants to have dinner at 3 o'clock in the morning after a long flight with transfers? We got there almost a day. Of course, this deposit was not returned to us.
It's all nonsense.
My husband has an anniversary on April 1, they were waiting for a present from the hotel. They didn't even wait for a postcard. When leaving, I expressed my opinion at the reception. I wrote a letter to the post office, let them buy postcards for our 300 dirhams for other guests.
The restaurant is a separate topic. Lunch and dinner are the same, no variety. Fruits and not only are put out in small plates, they run out very quickly, they are not in a hurry to replenish.
If you managed to go to the front row of the restaurant, then you will get a place, and if not, you will stand in line and watch others eat. Wait for a table to be available. It's unpleasant to sit and eat, and hungry hotel guests are standing in line and looking at your back.
We were in the neighboring Bahi more than once, we wanted to get there again, there were no rooms, we came to Fairmont. Don't set foot here again, I won't advise anyone. If you go to Ajman, then only to neighboring Bahi.
The management of the Fairmont Hotel needs to work and work on the service. All this is very terrible!!!!
I put one star only for the beach and the location of the hotel.
There are many shops and restaurants nearby. There's a fish restaurant across the street. They cook very tasty and the dishes are huge. I recommend it.

Let's start with the check-in. We arrived at the hotel at 8.00. There was no breakfast, three children had to sit hungry until lunch. If you buy food in a restaurant, one hamburger will cost 80 dirhams. The food is not bad, but there is no strong variety. By the 9th day of rest, the youngest child of 9 months began to refuse carrot puree, cauliflower puree, semolina and vegetable soup. Adult children (9 and 12 years old) were satisfied with the food. There were quite a lot of desserts and the variety was good, but if there is only a hotel restaurant, everything quickly gets boring. For breakfast there is an omelet with different fillings and optional, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, vegetables, potatoes, rice. There was alcohol, but since we are not drinkers, I cannot assess the quality of alcohol. Coffee could be made from a coffee machine, juices were sold at the bar (orange, mango, grapefruit, seven up, pepsi).There was not enough cottage cheese (and seafood (given only once) from the food.
We paid about 26 thousand extra for the room for 10 days (two-room). I liked the room, nothing superfluous, there is even a prayer mat and a Koran for Muslims. They cleaned the room every day (vacuum cleaner and floor), but the balcony, the shower had to be washed, since the youngest 9 months - crawls on the floor.The cleaner is Pakistani, understood English and fulfilled requests without any tips.
The towels were changed every day, but the linen was changed only once and then with a request.
There is practically no entertainment as such (aerobics near the pool and yoga near the sea do not count).
A Turkish restaurant was open at night, but we didn't go there.
From entertainment, the children liked the water park in Dubai and the amusement park.
In Dubai Mall there is a good selection of clothes, for example, New Balance crosses are cheaper by 13 thousand. Nearby there are fountains that start a 20-minute show from 18.00
In Dubai, it's worth going to the Museum of the future, but you need to buy tickets for it for at least 7-8 days online.
In general, the hotel is 4 stars, no more.
