The restaurant fully met my expectations. We spent a wonderful evening with friends on the occasion of my birthday. Everything here is at the highest level, starting with the wardrobe. Delicious, satisfying, cozy, beautiful, sincere. I thank Alexander, who serves our table, for his high professionalism. A pleasant bonus was the music performed by the pianist. A hype place. You walk in and immediately look at a wall with a lot of photos of celebrities of various kinds in the company of this very cook, whose dummy is also on display here. It feels very good, the managers at the entrance are very proud of their place, with slight carelessness sending you to make an appointment for the next visit, It turns out that we were lucky, there was a free table in the afternoon, provided that we had time to eat in an hour, then the table was reserved. We made it) The food was brought quickly, the service was pleasant, prompt, no complaints. But the food is the most ordinary, and it's not worth the money that they charge for it here!
There is a knight's hall, and a separate office, people arrange banquets here. Belarusian pleasant soft music. The interior is nice, but, in my opinion, a little heavy. So, if you are not a fan of HYPE and do not seek to join the cohort of celebrities who have visited this place, then it is better to go somewhere else, for example, next to a wonderful restaurant in the President Hotel, or, for example, to Your Own, it is delicious there)

We remove 3 stars for the hair found in the draniki, I did not talk in front of my wife and visitors nearby so as not to spoil my appetite and impression of the institution.
We all understand and the human factor was not canceled by anyone, but after all, the management could take measures to avoid such incidents, especially at such prices (slightly above average)
And so everything is great, the waiter is a great fellow, he asked everything he needed, explained, the dishes for Monday morning did not have to wait long
It's a pity that the impression was so spoiled...

Traditional Belarusian cuisine. We went on a day off in a company of 7 people without prior reservation. Surprisingly, we were seated in 10-15 minutes, and in a separate cozy room at the back of the restaurant. The restaurant is full of ancient historical artifacts from the times of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the Grand Duchy. On food: we ordered a lot of different dishes. There is a very diverse cuisine, especially in terms of potato dishes, which is not surprising, and also abounds in snacks suitable for stronger drinks, which are presented in a variety, in addition there are "ladies" drinks. I especially remember zubrovka and horseradish. The feast ended in a good mood and overfilled bellies. Separately, I would like to highlight the work of the waiters, who are friendly and courteous. A small restaurant in a rustic hunting style. There is a summer terrace. The menu is not large, mostly with national popular dishes and snacks. Drinks for every taste + tinctures according to your own recipe.
Everything is delicious and very satisfying. The portions are large, the serving is delicious.

Guys, this is fat fat! I've been there 2 times. I ate too much and could barely walk afterwards. I think everything is delicious there! I recommend soups with soups and a meat plate with rich lard and sausages. By the way, lard is the most delicious thing I've tasted in Minsk. The recipe is as follows: take a singed black bread, rub with garlic, lard on top, pop a horseradish bowl, a spoonful of borscht, and eat previously prepared bread. A wonderful place, perfectly cooked dishes of national cuisine. It is convenient that there are sets of dishes, you can try a lot of things. Keep in mind when ordering that the portions are really large and the dishes are hearty. The tinctures are lovely. The work of a waiter is beyond praise, we have not seen such a job for a long time, they know and love their job. We went to have lunch on Fri and without reservation. They were very politely greeted and quickly offered several places to choose from. The soup and hot food were brought very quickly, the child and we liked everything very much.
Yes, I read negative reviews after visiting the restaurant and what conclusions do I draw as a tourist from the Union state: the terry province puts 1 star and they took themselves to the city, and forgot the village from themselves, ahaha))) but I really burned out of these 3-sheet compositions, as this audience burned out. And the tone of the restaurant team's response is adequate and ironic, which confirms a great sense of humor! To whom in cornflowers - in cornflowers, and who wants to try authentic national cuisine, come here) if you need to explain, then you do not need to explain!

I am a sophisticated person and used to good, friendly, unobtrusive service, delicious, high-quality food from chefs who really know their business. During my 6 days in this wonderful country and 2 days in Minsk, I visited restaurants choosing only from places with a rating above 4.5*. I can authoritatively say that the Cook is the best institution with the best attentive service in Belarus!!

What should I say? We came here in search of Belarusian cuisine. It was not cheap, they took a lot of different dishes. I liked only cheesecakes and dumplings from the whole set. The children said that I cook pancakes better - and I agree with that. We didn't really like the cuisine in the restaurant... There are places that are tastier and better in terms of service and interior. In addition, the hot dishes were served for 1 hour. At the same time, they brought me a salad, and the children looked at me with hungry eyes. Of course, we may already be spoiled by good service, but you expect a higher level from a restaurant. Moreover, it is actively advertised by guides. Therefore, I do not recommend the restaurant.
And the restaurant's response to my review is great))) in general, all responses to reviews with low ratings are puzzling and perfectly illustrate the attitude towards guests...

We expected more after reading the reviews. The menu is decent, the staff is polite. We ordered a salad with beetroot and homemade cheese, beetroot and cheese are excellent, but lettuce leaves with sand, not washed. The hodgepodge is thin, but the borscht was delicious. A duck leg with apples in the duck part can be praised, apples with cherries are very sweet and with a lot of fragments of spices that are put during cooking: cloves, coriander, some other woody inclusions. Apple kvass and assorted liqueurs are excellent.

The impression is depressing. Old shabby interiors, sticky floors in the toilet, it looks like dirt. The dishes and the serving are ordinary, like in a cheap eatery. We won't go a second time for any money.

An excellent place to relax and explore the national cuisine of Belarus.
It is better to book a table in advance. But we came in fact, we had to wait a little - it didn't bother us. Convenient location, there is a cozy summer veranda, friendly staff, stylized music.
The choice of dishes was not easy, as I wanted to try everything. Thank you to the waiter who recommended trying the draniki and mochanka - I got it 100%!

Wonderful restaurant, great atmosphere, delicious food and top-level service!
We were vacationing with my family (me, my husband and two children). The atmosphere is mesmerizing from the first step into the restaurant! A lot of little things, thanks to which everything in common is built - a great mood!)
Everything that was eaten, on the advice of the excellent waiter Alexander, was very tasty: draniki, medallions, vereshchaka!! Oyy is an explosion of gastronomic emotions))

I liked it, we ate Belarusian cuisine, kholodnik, dumplings, bulbyanik, sandwiches with twisted bacon - everything is very tasty. But there are a couple of buts.
It's very stuffy in the back room, well, it's just unbearable. It is necessary to do normal ventilation, since there is a basement and no windows.
There was live music, yes, the singer has a very good voice, it's nice to listen. But the repertoire... a mixture of Russian folk and Soviet pop... I understand that the scoop theme is exploited everywhere here. But at least some of the Sabres were sung in Belarusian.
And so it reminds me of restaurants for European foreigners in St. Petersburg in the pre-Soviet times: accordion-balalaika-katyusha. That's just I'm not really a foreigner, I didn't get it))))

Vereshchaka is generally, my respect, such a delicious thing that words cannot describe.
I recommend it to everyone, but I warn you, the bill will be tidy. With alcohol, we had 300-350 rubles for three of us. (For Russian ~ 12k, at the rate for July 2024).
