I don't understand HOW cornflowers can have a rating of 5 stars, and Pushkin Times - 4.7. Are you out of your mind? The draniki in Pushkin are mind-blowing. Crispy all over the surface, golden. If we evaluate the institution itself, it would not hurt to think about ventilation, but since we were on the terrace, then it is normal. We were on the first day of our visit to Belarus and returned after the cornflowers. And we'll be back!

We were in Vitebsk for a couple of days - we went to a restaurant, there were no special expectations, but the place was pleasantly surprised🍀The cocktail menu is excellent (bellini and rossini are delicious), shrimp, eel tartare, etc. - the portions are small, but that's the better - you can try more) we got to live music, the girl has a very pleasant voice, took a walk later and returned to the bar to have another cocktail, the bartender was talkative and endearing.
The place is a buzz and it is clear that the management loves their job, as well as the staff of this institution :)

We were in September-2022. The time from ordering to receiving the dishes:
- Tea - almost immediately;
- Borscht - 7 minutes;
- Napoleon was brought as soon as they finished the borscht;
- Dranburger - 27 minutes;
Strudel - 10 minutes.
I asked for beer along with a burger, but they brought it 5 minutes earlier.
It looks pretentious, more expensive than it actually costs. The prices are low:
- Dranburger 22 BYN;
- Borscht - 10 BYN.
WiFi from Beltelecom with phone authorization. The speed is 2/2 MBit/s.
Toilet - 1 stall M and 1 W. There are 2 urinals and a toilet stall in the men's room. There is no dryer, there are paper towels.
The music is different jazz, soul, pop and other calm, it sounds quiet.
There are 4 halls, each with 20 seats. Decorated in Pushkin's time, with yellow dim lighting and Pushkin's poems on the walls. The hookah room is decorated in its own way, something like a teahouse.
The name is strange - the apostrophe does not seem to be needed...

My sister's birthday was celebrated quite recently.
The first thing you feel when you come to an institution is a terrible smell of mold (which is not surprising, because the restaurant is in the basement). I think we can do something about it, but the administration does not have either the resources or the desire. Rather, the second option.
We were sitting in the hookah area. In fact, only a hookah and a couple of dishes were served on the table in front of us. We somehow managed to fit four. But it was terribly uncomfortable to sit. The table is low and narrow.
Someone's children were constantly running to us, one of the children even threw a slobbered wooden skewer into my husband's plate. The waitress saw what was happening, but did not react in any way. As an option, I thought that these were our children.
The service is terribly slow. A glass of wine was brought to us for 20-25 minutes. But, to be fair, the girl apologized for the long wait.
The kitchen is excellent. The ribs are incredible, as is the hodgepodge. There is nothing unusual about the medallions. But they're not bad either.

The halls were empty, the waitresses were friendly, how the place works in the evening, with proper loading, I will not say. But the desire to go there again arose. Unfortunately, my attempt to implement it was not successful, the attempt to go down the stairs was stopped by the administrator, since the institution opens at 12:00, I showed up at 11... They say Pushkin passed through Vitebsk twice, it is likely that my repeated visit to this place should be divided into longer periods. But, again, the first impression is pleasant. There is a responsible approach to the menu and attention to the service. I'll probably find out how it all works later. While for "Pushkin" A Foursome ... if the administrator were more boastful, offer to wait on the couch, leaf through a volume of "Alexander Sergeevich" after drinking a glass of warm water from the road) there would be a Five! But.... a lot of you are walking around here... She didn't say that, she didn't really care(

We came to have dinner on the veranda, although it is winter, but it is warm.
A small disadvantage is that the veranda is closed to smokers, so it smells like hookah, but there are also two halls not for smokers, and the fact that during rush hour you predictably wait a little longer for food to be served.
But the prices are relatively low, delicious food, three people had a good dinner for 1220, a pleasant atmosphere and entourage.

I tried to book a table while not in Belarus (without having a Belarusian number and the opportunity to call them).
I wrote on Instagram - I was asked to leave a request on the site. I left it, no one contacted me for 2 days. I wrote again on Instagram - I was asked to specify a contact phone number and a messenger in which to contact me. I indicated and wrote to get in touch via WhatsApp. Again, no reaction. And so I wrote on Instagram for the third time, they promised to contact me in the near future. And they wrote, but on Viber)
Terrible service. There is no customer orientation.
For comparison, after I wrote on Instagram of the La Cultura restaurant, they answered me within 15 minutes and we booked a table.
