When I came to Abkhazia, I knew that I would go to this institution. I've read a lot of good things about him and not so much.
The establishment really deserves a solid 4.
The quality of the products is undoubtedly excellent.
Is the place cozy? Yes!
Evening music is present.
But if everything was perfect, there would be a five.
Now about the cons.
Either this is the mentality of Abkhazia, or the cook does not know how to cook meat, or the stars turned out that way....
But this is not a medium rare roast Rib Eye. I don't think it's a Rib Eye at all, because the meat was completely fat-free. No, it was delicious. But that wasn't what I wanted. The waiter was told this, but no action was taken.
That's why I'm shooting a big and fat Star.

The restaurant itself is good. Delicious cuisine, beautiful presentation. Don't find fault if you don't find fault. BUT THERE IS ONE DISADVANTAGE! The SEWAGE system, which they immediately openly drain into the sea.
Next to the restaurant there is a beautiful beach and the restaurant has tried and made a toilet and an area where you can change clothes, sun beds on the beach and umbrellas from the cafe for free.
And you are satisfied with a delicious meal and go out to the sea, and there is also a beautiful beach where there are not so many people.
You swim and in the evening the whole family follows each other with an intestinal infection!
Children suffer from intestinal pain and vomit all night.
I think this is a complete disgrace!
We are not the only ones. When I started to deal with this issue, it turned out that if you returned to this beach for the second time, then you were lucky not to catch this infection the first time. But for the third time, no one is definitely coming back(
All the staff and management see and know that their sewage system flows into the sea right along the beach. Brazenly and not covered with pipes or sand. It's just a trickle of sewage from a manhole flowing into the sea.
People come on vacation for 10-14 days and at least 5-6 days of them fall out with an intestinal infection. And then they restore their health for 3-4 months. Plus, these are additional costs for medicines, not to mention the fact that it is painful and unpleasant.
STOP POISONING PEOPLE!

Mussels in cream sauce are excellent, but the presentation of the national dish hominy is so-so, I recommend that the chef arrange the presentation of this dish more interestingly and expand the assortment of accompanying additives to this dish, not only two types of cheese IN a PIECE, but also something else.

A great cafe and inexpensive. We were a family in the middle of August 2023. They cook very tasty! The meat in the pot is generally amazing! The portions are large, not like in Moscow. There was so much salad that we took one for two. I liked it so much that we visited for several days. For lunch, an average of 2.5 thousand were given for 2 adults and 1 child, and this was with alcohol (a glass of wine or a cocktail and 100 grams of rum or beer). The cook is excellent. The service is fast and polite. In general, the attitude is excellent towards customers. I recommend it!

The Ritsa restaurant in Gagra became the most unpleasant experience of my trip to Abkhazia. They brought us pita bread with mold, which in itself is unacceptable in a catering establishment. Instead of apologizing and promptly solving the problem, a waitress named Greta showed rudeness and complete indifference. Moreover, the money for this dish was still included in the bill! The request to provide a book of complaints was refused, which, apparently, is the norm for this institution.
The restaurant leaves an unpleasant impression — neither the quality of the food, nor the normal service. I strongly do not recommend it! Choose another place so as not to spoil your evening.

A pleasant atmosphere, comfortable sofas, views from the windows are the dream of any person, with a sea view a distance of about 20 meters, and immediately there is access to the beach. As for the dishes , everything is delicious but there is something to strive for ( there would be a desire ) taking into account the cost of the dishes , we left a 6500 ( family of two adults and two children) price tag as in Sochi , but the quality is lower , the staff is polite. Convenient location ( there is a parking lot across the street ). If you find yourself in Abkhazia, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant, I'm not sure that you can find something like this further, we went deep into Abkhazia and there are mostly eateries of dubious quality.
I put the 4th one because of the sluggishness of the waitresses . And so everything is fine!

I really like the view from the windows to the sea. You go down the stairs immediately to the shore. Thanks to the director of the RITZ cafe for the convenience in everything. They sell delicious chebureks downstairs. The coffee is delicious and rich, always patient and polite. And they always accompany and greet with a smile, no matter how tired the cute girls are. And who writes about 10 cents, comrades, in Russia you can steer and raise a scandal if you want to pay, if you don't want to. Do not forget that we are visiting and we must respect the traditions and laws of all republics.

Satsivi - boiled chicken in sauce, frying pan with beef and potatoes - delicious, but a little greasy. Salad with eggplant and tomatoes is super! Shurpa is a great broth!
