The cafe presents Abkhazian and Armenian cuisine, everything is at its best, the staff is friendly , the cafe windows overlook the sea, one of the few cafes where the local population celebrates their holidays. Graduations that used to be celebrated by schoolchildren in Gagripsha (this is one of the old local restaurants) now all events are held in the RITZ cafe, and this says something!

A good cafe. Clean, neat.
There are two halls, there is a place to eat and dance, a gorgeous view of the sea.
The waiters are great!
The menu is quite extensive. You can please anyone. Different cuisines are represented.
It's cooked delicious, that's the most important thing!

We came to this restaurant for the first time in January 2016! And since then, we have been in Rizza for sure upon arrival in Gagra (2 times a year)! Almost before our eyes, everything in this cafe was changing for the better! It was always delicious! Prices have certainly increased, but this was to be expected given the changes! Cherry tomatoes were not put in the salad with shrimp and orange. Content: three pieces of orange, four shrimp. And about 90% of the rest of the dish is a mountain of lettuce leaves. When the problem was pointed out, the chefs dropped off one (1!) cherry tomato. A lot of mustard and sesame seeds. There are a lot of green onions in the highlander salad.

We were sitting indoors. In the evening at 24 degrees it was very hot and stuffy and it was with all the windows open. Why the air conditioners don't work is a mystery.
Caesar is frankly bad: not the whole salad is 1 cherry tomato in half, 1 quail egg in half, croutons instead of croutons (thanks for being crispy), there is little dressing and it is so-so (mayonnaise, not oyster), and just 3 tiny pieces of chicken breast, boiled, then rolled in smoked paprika. 450p is not worth it. I've never eaten such a tasteless Caesar, but I take it in every 2-3 restaurants.
Carbonara for 4, but without an egg ...
the fisherman's frying pan is not bad, but in a creamy cheese sauce it would be better to have drier red fish, rather than fatty salmon - it turned out very fatty.
Baked potatoes are not bad.
They gave 2650 for dinner with wine, including 10%. But the level of the restaurant and the dishes pulls a maximum of 1850 with service. A little higher than in the dining room...

On the advice of the waitress, a Norwegian salad with salmon, carbonara pasta and a meat pan were ordered. It tasted delicious, even the lemonade was delicious, but on the same day I felt very bad.
