I gave 4 stars only because when you come to border control, the locals are crammed into the queue window for non-residents and this is not controlled in any way, as a result you stand longer than the queue at all other windows). Do not change the money at the exit, the rate is much higher in the city. Taxis, as elsewhere, are three times more expensive at the exit. Yandex costs pennies.

There are 2 disadvantages:
1. Long customs control. We passed the control for 1.5 hours, although only 2 flights took off at that time.
2. In my opinion, a little "collective farm" departure zone. It's dirty enough in all cafes. Practically do not clean anything there. This greatly influenced my assessment. I hope it's not always like this.
On the plus side, they accept rubles and those who have already spent all the local currency can safely buy everything they need for rubles.

The new airport, which is located almost in the city. It is very clean, but there are few seats in the waiting rooms (although there are no crazy crowds). All the shops are open (I was there at 6 o'clock in the morning).
There is a public transport stop near the airport (I had to go to the railway station and I decided to take the bus, the fare is 1.5 thousand soums, about 10 rubles). If you need to go to the city, then Yandex taxi will help. I drove from the hotel to the airport for 17 thousand soums, and the bombers offer such a service for 80. Then, of course, they throw it off, but not very much.
