Well, it's impossible to write a bad or satisfactory review here). We got to the center the second time, because we did not know all the nuances related to cooking and the time when you can eat pilaf. The first time we arrived at 13:40, there was no pilaf. We didn't make a mistake the second time and arrived at 11:00. By this time, people are just starting to gather. The pilaf is simply divine.
It's a great place. Delicious pilaf. There are quite a lot of visitors, so by one o'clock the pilaf ends. Therefore, it is better to arrive before the 12th day. Otherwise, there is a chance to stay hungry
Everything is very tasty, fast service. There was a choice of pilaf with beef or lamb.
Pilaf 0.7 + 2 salads + vegetable okroshka on ayran + tea = 59 thousand soums.
We didn't get here the first time. The pilaf ended before 13:00. At 12-12:30, there were no more arrivals a couple of times... tourist groups are brought by minibuses, there are also enough locals, the flow of people is large. The interior is as simple as possible, but people come here for the famous pilaf. The prices are good. The pilaf was basically delicious, but ours was a little dry.... it's great that pilaf is served with a variety of snacks and salads to choose from, tea, and delicious compote. The service is fast, despite even a full landing
The food is pilaf with aldente rice - I did not like it. The serving is beautiful, the chalap is the most delicious that I have tasted in Uzbekistan. They are served quickly. The bill included two items that were not ordered - more than 8000 soums, but they recalculated, agreed that they were mistaken. The tea is delicious. The atmosphere is cozy
For today, this is the best pilaf I've tried. The taste is fantastic. In terms of price, more pilaf dishes, salads and tea went to 90,000 Uzbek Som. Be sure to try it! Well, tips separately if desired.
The place is authentic, there are a lot of people, it's fun to watch the visitors and how the service is organized, I didn't like the pilaf itself, it tastes better in other places.
Very tasty. The staff is working perfectly. The prices are more than reasonable. A portion of pilaf, two salads, tea and half a flatbread is $5 (the rate is 11,000 soums per dollar). The four for the interior is a purely dining option
Excellent local dining room with delicious Samarkand pilaf. This place is one of the must-see places. I recommend coming a little earlier than 12 o'clock, as tourists and locals at 12-13 fill the dining room to capacity
It's a great place. We arrived at 11-45 and sat down. After 30 minutes, there were no seats. A lot of locals. Very tasty.
Post-factum calculation at the bar.
For two people with 4 salads, one portion of pilaf and two kettles of green tea, 105,000 som were given.
We recommend it!!!
At 11.30 they started selling, at 13.00 there was no pilaf. Nothing unusual, everything is quite simple, both the hall and the food. It is not visible how pilaf is cooked.
The bill, which by the way must be requested separately, will include an option that was not brought to you. 6-10 thousand, a trifle, but not pleasant.
The place is on fire! Luxury SUVs and executive sedans are parked at the entrance. Inside, the interior of the dining room is from the USSR. We arrived around 14 -"there is no pilaf. And we don't serve anything else." You need to arrive around 12 and it is advisable to book seats, then you may be lucky and try pilaf No.1.
Excellent pilaf, good location, but still the service and the atmosphere itself are not like in a restaurant, as this place is not only for tourists, but also for locals. In general, you can eat delicious Samarkand pilaf for an adequate price.
Delicious Samarkand pilaf. Reasonable prices. For two adults and two children, one and a half servings is even too much. Pilaf, 3 salads, flatbread, dried fruit compote 155000 soums.
Half-cooked rice was ordered by zigir, it is not soaked in zigir oil at all. pilaf connoisseurs will understand that pilaf is so-so, when they asked the waiter to transfer pepper and egg from one plate, then he did it with his hands, after which he did not want to eat, if you order a set everywhere this egg and kazy here is only a small quail egg, in general, as a local I would not recommend everyone who wrote above goes here, they are tourists from Ross, they have nothing to compare with
Delicious pilaf, at an adequate price, opens at 11 a.m., air conditioners are working, there is no heat in the room, tea, salads, various drinks are served.
Fast feed. The pilaf is a little dry. The price is expensive, not reasonable. Of course, you can't compare it with Tashkent, it's cheaper, tastier and the interior is of course much better
The pilaf is delicious, but they brought meat, some scraps. After the remark, it was replaced, but additional meat was included in the bill

We came according to reviews to try Samarkand pilaf. The place is very ordinary, simple. They bring a lot of tourists. Tables are occupied very quickly, that is, you need to have time right. It was not even 13h when they put up a sign that the pilaf was over, although the institution works in theory until 15h.
The pilaf is not very bad, we ate with pleasure (especially from the road). But there is a more delicious one in Tashkent, to be honest. The service is average.
We came at the peak, we found a place. Everything was brought quickly, it was delicious. I took off the star, just because we were in Bukhara at The Plov the day before and the pilaf there was just magical.
The most excellent Samarkand split pilaf! It's hard to imagine a better one. The restaurant is open only 4 hours, from 11 to 15, but in fact - until the cooked pilaf is finished, and this is very fast: pilaf with lamb rarely lives until 12:30, with beef we found the last one at 13:30. The restaurant is mostly eaten by locals, it is packed, this is an indicator. If you doubt the availability of pilaf, call in advance, you will be guided. It is better to take half a serving per person - if you believe in yourself, then look at the photo of 3 servings (we had enough for 6 people).
Pilaf is very tasty! But, you need to go straight to 11.00-11.30 then there will be no seats, you will have to wait. The service is very fast! Pilaf is delicious!) I advise everyone!
