The atmosphere of the restaurant is very consistent with the concept, as if you are transported back in time.
The kitchen is just something of a masterpiece. This is the best place in Minsk for me personally. The waiters are ready to tell you the details about each item on the menu and give a historical context.

We arrived at this institution. Half of the tables are completely empty. There are no guests. The receptionist and waiters were extremely unfriendly. They said if you didn't book, then there are no tables for you. It was raining outside and we decided to wait out the restaurant.we were in this institution for 40-50 minutes. The tables and halls were still empty. The receptionist and waiters were extremely unfriendly. When the locals came from the street to ask something, they were offered blankets to warm up.. Nothing was offered to us but angry faces and looks. They don't like Russians, cafes are only for locals. And the whole team is just negative. I do not recommend it!! Of course, the fish goes out from the head, which admin is such and the composition, by age it seemed that they were serving youngsters who decided to work part-time in the summer. I haven't seen a single adult, sane person!

Hello, we have arrived!
For the first time in Minsk. I chose the Bulbashi cafe with local national cuisine with a good rating. During the course of the cafe, the administrator specified how many of us there would be, there were two of us! There were 3 free tables for two people in front of us at the entrance. The receptionist first said that unfortunately there were no seats (Unexpectedly), then explained that due to the lack of waiters, they would not be able to serve us. Friday 04/21/2023 15:00. Curtain....
Updating the review. Exactly one year later, on 04/20/2024, I came to Minsk again, and again decided to eat at this restaurant, stayed for accommodation in a 2-minute walk from it.
Well, the second and third attempts were again in vain. We arrived without a preliminary reserve, three tables at the entrance were still free and the hall was half empty, but they did not seat us, due to the fact that all tables are reserved and will soon be occupied. We went to the second Bulbashi restaurant, it is located not far from the first one. We entered, the receptionist met us and informed us that she could only put us at the bar. There were 2 people in the hall!!! A human being and that's it. But the rest of the tables are reserved and are about to be occupied and they are about to start moving the tables for the banquet.
This is such a strange place! Always very heavily loaded, but always empty! It is good that this time we were not informed that they had no waiters, although to book a table, we were offered to call the phone number, whereas I am in the restaurant.

If you want to taste modern Belarusian cuisine, it is better to book a table in advance.
The staff is very pleasant, the waiters who know the menu are especially pleased. They gave us a tour.
We ate the most "popular" snacks on the menu and drank tinctures - everything was incredibly delicious. Special thanks to the waiter Ilya for the guided tour. You can come to Minsk for the sake of Bulbash <3

Disgusting! There is no wifi. (Good cuisine, large portions, professional staff), but no wifi! And not because it is technically impossible, but simply at the whim of the owner. Kind of a concept. Leave your concepts at home in the kitchen and enjoy the "live communication" there. And for tourists - for a second, in the most tourist place in Minsk - and at the same time for business travelers, for unhappy people like me, who could not go to my husband (girlfriend/ mom/children/etc), finally, for single misanthropes, make a Wi-Fi. Because these are maps of the city. These are train tickets. This is a taxi call. This is the 21st century and the capital, not a cave in Tibet. I had to take the waiters away from work out of boredom so that they would entertain me. Get it, sign it. And I won't come to you anymore. And I'll go to the neighbors "At the town hall", because they also have cool guys, delicious cuisine and pancakes with red fish, and they also have Wi-Fi. Because they are for people, not for concepts.

A great place for a "delicious meal". If you are going to Belarus to try draniki, do not try anywhere else after the local ones (a joke, of course).
The service is perfect - no waiting time, quick change of dishes, the waiter is always somewhere nearby, but not annoying. The waiters are well-versed in the menu, they are very good at suggesting dishes to choose from.
The interior is 10/10. Very interesting design ideas.

A wonderful place! Excellent service, delicious author's Belarusian cuisine. The portions are large and hearty. Draniki are wonderful, meat dishes are the most delicate, mini snacks are excellent. The dessert made of melted milk is simply perfect.
And a bonus for non-drinkers is non-alcoholic wine and beer.
I highly recommend this place!

The furniture, dishes, tablecloths are pretty, based on national motives. The hall itself is clean. The toilet is terrible. Right down to the fact that there was no toilet paper. The service is fast, the waiters are nimble and polite. The liqueurs are excellent. Snacks - pate, deer tartare - delicious! Hearts are cruel. Vegetable salad - cheese cheese, it feels like they put all the cheese and cheese sauces that exist there. At the next table, people left an almost untouched portion of pancakes and beef stroganoff🤷♀️

The perfect place! Firstly, the service is at a high level, the waiters are very polite and attentive, they are very familiar with every position: from the history of the kitchen to the details of cooking and proper eating. Secondly, the atmosphere: the music is very pleasant and does not interfere with conversation, the interior is concise and authentic. We visited the restaurant twice. We had lunch and dinner. An interesting interior. Great service. There are a lot of waiters, they work well together. Guys, I certainly don't quite understand where you got 5 stars from. But with reviews of 1-3 stars, I still agree.
We came to dinner having booked in advance, went to a meeting and made gluten-free pancakes (without flour). Special thanks for that. It's nice.
But the fact is that it was extremely difficult to eat these pancakes, even I would say almost impossible. Before we finished the draniki, we told the two waiters everything. They agreed with us, but they didn't remove it from the bill. It was very insulting. And it left a very bad impression. If they had removed it from the account, I definitely would not have written this review. But to make oiled-through pancakes with black edges for 900 ~ Russian rubles, of course, this is no way at all. It literally can't be worth that money in ANY WAY. It could have been safely removed from the bill. And there would be no problems.
I can only say one thing about the service - it's not professional at all. A very young team that is just having fun. And everything.
It's not entirely clear how the waiter's story about snot should even be at a couple's dinner in a restaurant.
Personally, such things don't spoil my appetite at all.. But for a girl..? And anyway, where is the professionalism here.

We were at NG 2024. In general, according to the plan, we did not visit this restaurant, but the wet rain and snow literally drove us into it and looking ahead, I can say this is the best rest in Minsk, I would even say the author's cuisine, but we were a lot of places. Well, first of all, there are the most delicious pancakes, with the right oil, and the rest of the dishes are very interesting, delicious and well served. Our waiter also deserves special attention, who could clearly give information on any dish and even some kind of light excursion, and most importantly, I was surprised that he advised me not to take obviously too much, repeating our order. He explained the portionality, etc. Usually, no one stops you.. in general, I liked the approach. And the interior is very cozy. There are not many places. I recommend it.
