We were there in August 2020. If you want to relax, we do not recommend the hotel. The old building is the worst rooms. They clean the room there once a week. We had to ask to clean up every time and ask for new towels. There is mold in the rooms. Small toilets and showers. Booths.
There are not enough umbrellas on the beach for everyone, they had to go out early in the morning to take a seat.
The food is monotonous, but you will not stay hungry. If you have settled in the old building, then you will be fed in a separate canteen, where food is heated only once + unsanitary conditions. The girls at the reception are young and cocky.
Think a hundred times before you come here.

Excellent holiday home, good location, from the border min. 20 by car. Of course, the rooms in the old building have been in need of repair for a long time, especially the bathrooms, but the mattresses and pillows are comfortable, there is a refrigerator, a kettle and a gorgeous balcony! The sea is clean, the beach is also clean and tidy, there is a lot of space, there is enough for everyone.
The food is very good, everything is delicious and homemade! I recommend this holiday home, I would love to go again!

Hospitality in Abkhazia is very peculiar and we are definitely not going to experience it anymore. We "rested" for a week in July 2021, the cost is 8,000 rubles/day. The holiday home would seem to be quite good, the new building has a good repair and is quite decent, the territory is well-groomed with palm trees, and a bust of cypresses that cover the entire view of the sea ((. But! everything is ruined by the staff! There are only a couple of girls at the reception who are friendly and friendly, that's it! The service staff shows in every way how tired they are, how low their wages are and how they are not happy with tourists. The room cleaner wants to hug and cry, she's so worn out. It is as if someone owes the canteen workers and does not give them in any way. There are no lifeguards on the beach, the Uzbeks look after the sun beds for 3 kopecks, the attitude towards the guests is appropriate. If you decide to meet the sunset at sea, then only standing up, because at 19.30 this sunbed will simply be snatched out from under you to put it in a common pile and lock it for the night. The beach is pebbly, you can't sit on a towel. So none of the staff is smiling, they don't want a pleasant day, they look like a wolf. Why do I put such an emphasis on the staff, because a friendly environment is very important to relax and unwind, because that's why people go on a long-awaited vacation once a year. And we were counting the days, we would rather go home ((((.
There is a separate conversation about nutrition. A 3-course buffet meal was announced. In fact, a distribution line with a meager menu. Only what contains meat is well cooked (mayonnaise salads, hot dishes, soups), the rest is completely tasteless. Of the sweet things, only factory baked goods or cookies are not always fresh and of course also not to choose from. Fruits are a separate sadness, we hoped that there would be many of them, local and different. As a result, you come to the dining room there are no fruits, you ask and either there are none at all, or reluctantly, "now the fruits will be washed and taken out." It turned out that we were kind of begging for these fruits from the canteen workers. Why they were not immediately taken out, I have only one answer. The breakfast is disgusting, everything is tasteless and the same every day, we ate sandwiches. There is also a question about drinks. The coffee machine worked only for breakfast, and for dinner, either kefir or tea. The tea in this place is of course Greenfield black and green, that's it.
About what's going on outside the territory. You can walk alone, but it's unpleasant. Prehistoric deposits, destroyed buildings, 5-year-old leaf fall underfoot, no infrastructure, shopping malls and cinemas can be seen through the sidewalks. The sights have been the same for decades (waterfalls, gorges, Lake Ritsa, Stalin's dachas, N.Athos). Nothing is developing AT ALL. The locals are hungry to make money from tourists. The favorite price for entertainment or service is 1000 rubles., local fruits at 250 rubles / kg., watermelon 47 rubles / kg, a small cup of berries on the beach 150 - 250 rubles.

We have been vacationing with our family since August 19, 2019.We lived in a new building on the 3rd floor in a room with a view of the mountains (the mountains were not visible, of course, behind the cypresses and trees on the opposite side) .but in general, this did not spoil the rest.The room has everything for a comfortable stay.there is a clothes dryer.thank you very much to the staff of the house of recreation for the cordial communication.Cleaning was carried out daily and conscientiously.towels and bed linen are changed every three days.Separate towels are provided for the beach.Thanks to the canteen staff for always having a good attitude and delicious food.the food was quite varied, and the fried was both baked and boiled, i.e. everyone could be pleased.porridge was even cooked separately for the child at his personal request (for which I thank you very much)The dishes are always clean!!!! We were lucky, apparently, and we were settled in a new building where everything is brand new and clean. The rooms have climate control and a balcony. Fly in the ointment: plumbing problems, the drain tank was constantly breaking, and boiling water was pouring out of the shower.

We rested in this place from 09/21/20 to 09/29/20, initially we looked at the photos of the rooms on the official website and an important point was when booking so that there was a double bed. On the website, in the description of the rooms, it was indicated that there were such rooms, and when booking it was clearly indicated that a double bed was chosen, a room in the old building was chosen. They put us in a room with two single beds, when they went to the reception, the girl informed us that there were no available rooms with a double bed in the old building, you can pay extra for the new building 3000 per day or come remind us yourself every day, suddenly the room will be free. The room itself was also different from the photos on the site, "tired" repairs, falling off sockets, the refrigerator is unclear what year, when you turn it on, it constantly shakes and buzzes, well, in general, the impression of the room is so-so, considering that there were no such photos on the site. I was pleased with the view from the balcony, but that when we checked in it was dirty, that when we left it remained in the same condition. Regarding the service: we arrived at night, so we were checked in without delay. Wet cleaning should be carried out daily, bed linen and towels should be changed every 3 days. in fact, during our entire vacation period, the floors were washed 2 times in the room, the bed was changed only once, when we already asked specifically at the reception to clean up. I was more pleased with the fact that when our floor was being washed, the cleaner forgot to lock the room with a key and it remained open all day, since by chance on the same day we left for an excursion, no one cared that our belongings and other valuables were there... Having found an open room in the evening, we came to the reception and received the answer: oh, sorry, enter our position, the cleaner is already old and may forget something, they usually do not steal in our rooms. Regarding nutrition: we only had breakfast, the food was edible, the food was similar to the dining room, but we were pleasantly surprised by the presence of cottage cheese and a variety of cereals, in general it is normal. The territory of the hotel is average, there are a lot of planted cypresses and greenery, there is a Playground, as well as the advantage was the accessibility of the beach, a minute walk from the dining room, free sun beds and umbrellas. Despite the disadvantages of the holiday home, this did not spoil the vacation much, but if we knew what was waiting for us here, we would definitely choose another hotel.

The holiday home itself is not bad. Its own beach, garden, Playground. We took half board. Of course it depends on the season - we were in October. Television has failed - Russian channels have not always been available.
Of the cons: the safe did not work, the refrigerator barely cools down. In the shower, the child slipped 3 times. The staff is not all friendly. Well, actually, like all Abkhazians, they will come anyway.
