Poisoning at half the hotel, a broken toilet, boorish staff and a cleaner who asks to take out the trash and make the bed themselves - all this for just 8,000 per day!
We spent two weeks in this terrible place. We wanted to fly back as soon as we arrived, but the hotel rules say that no one will return the money, so we had to stay.
1. When booking, we were told that the repair in the old building was slightly worse than in the new one and sent photos in which everything was fine.
In fact: yellow mold in the bathroom, everything is covered with lime.
Instead of a double bed: two single beds, with a gap of 12 cm between them. To our question, they offered to plug the hole with a blanket, arguing: "What are you starting, there is the same young couple in the next room, they have been sleeping for 10 days and nothing, you will also suffer, not sugar." As a result, they asked for a topper, which stank terribly of dampness, and aired it on the balcony for 2 days.
Every time you flush the toilet, you need to hit the tank with all your might.
Towels, sheets and duvet covers are stained, streaked and spooled. 2. Room cleaning and the cleaner are a separate song. This wonderful woman (old building, 4th floor) is sure that the guests should take off their bed linen, prepare garbage, etc. by her arrival. Question: why pay a person a salary if, as a result, the guests themselves clean their room?
The fraternal attitude, constant "poking" and attempts to hug at a meeting also caused confusion. 3. The food is disgusting. Having dined here once, my husband and I caught a terrible infection, we sat in the room for a week without being able to move far from the bathroom, the temperature was 38 for two days. After communicating with the staff and guests, they realized that many people came down with the same symptoms that day, and many were taken to the hospital.The staff works in the dining room, which behaves rudely, Russian is poorly understood. 4. The view of the mountains is actually on a construction site, highway and railway tracks, and at night music plays until 1.00 am, it is impossible to sleep. 5. Excursions from the hotel - divorce for money. Instead of 1600, they eventually gave 3600.

Very expensive! Do not try to choose the second building! The beds are like in a hospital.
Food for three, no more, no less. There is no national cuisine at all.
The guests are mostly of retirement age.
The staff is lazy, they don't want to do anything. The rest home received the money and that's it.
The hotel is good only because it is located on the very beach.
There are no walking areas and normal shops/cafes nearby.
I attach a photo of the room for 6000 rubles per day (with meals).
There are no three stars here! No buffet!
If you want to eat well, go to a cafe, according to your taste.

I do not recommend this terrible hotel to anyone, especially the old building. For that kind of money!! This hotel cannot have three stars! I'm just amazed at how patient our people are. How can you call staying in this life-threatening place a vacation?! The prices are absolutely inadequate. As soon as you enter the old building, the smelly smell of mold and dampness hits your nose. The first and second floors are in terrible condition. The furniture is old, mattresses with springs that fit into the ribs. It is absolutely impossible to sleep. Mold in the bathroom. When I sent the manager a photo of all this splendor, she was shocked!! I demanded to be relocated. We found a room on the 4th floor, it was renovated and it was at least without stench and mold. The buffet in our view and in the view of the staff are two different stories. The portions themselves are very small, almost no fruit was given, and again very little. The fact that they did not move out for lunch was given for dinner. And there is a very strange policy of separate meals for visitors of the old and new buildings. Two advantages are that there is a beach within walking distance. But there is also a disadvantage associated with the fact that people are brought to the beach from another hotel. Accordingly, there are catastrophically not enough places and an umbrella with sun beds too. And the second pleasant restaurant on site. I cannot recommend this hotel. Especially the old building!

We had a rest last August. The main building is normal and the rooms there are decent. We had children there. In the 2nd building - it's a nightmare! My husband and I lived in a suite. But, excuse me, what kind of suite is this, in which there is no safe and a shared balcony with another room? Moreover, the food is not in the main building, but in the terrible dining room belonging to the 2nd building. We moved to the main building to eat, as children lived and ate in that building. The cleaning is terrible. We haven't changed the bed in 10 days. You literally had to run after the maid for water. So we also got a lot of discontent. So if you decide to rest, then only in the main building. On the beach, sun loungers and umbrellas are opened only at 8 o'clock. And before that, sit on the rocks. And this is not at all at a small cost. People from some other hotel are brought to the beach before lunch, and since it is very small, it is like a public one. Not very impressive. At 18.00, the beach workers begin to defiantly remove umbrellas and sun beds. Shock. Did I come to rest or did I go back to the pioneer camp? The food is not varied. The trays are always greasy, the dishes are not always enough. Information must be extracted from the workers at the reception with a fight. They don't know anything, they don't help in any way. The territory is very small, but clean.

The location is excellent, 15 minutes from the border. Located on the shore (first line), the territory is guarded, very beautiful and well-maintained, there is a small playground, a fountain and benches. The beach is clean and the descent is convenient. There is a very nice restaurant on the beach with panoramic windows overlooking the sea. The staff is very friendly and polite, thank them for that. We had a room for three (we were with two children) We were also provided with a baby cot. We paid for the breakfasts, but they were constantly spilled, so I can't say anything here. The room is spacious and clean, there is nothing to complain about. There were enough towels and bed linen. The sound insulation is good, there are many vacationers with children in the hotel, but no one can be heard.

We were a women's company at the end of April. Good building, good fresh rooms. There are not very accommodating young ladies at the reception, but as it turned out, local women are not super kind in principle. The view from the balcony was to the garden and the sea. Gorgeous. A well-maintained garden and five steps to the sea. Breakfast for a good three. I especially liked the milk. You won't stay hungry. The beach is a large pebble. The sea was clear. Dolphins were coming. I didn't like the restaurant on the shore. There's also an abandoned garden nearby or something like that. There are homeless dogs hiding there. Hungry and timid. If there is an opportunity to feed , do a good deed . We took the leftovers from breakfast and took them to them.
And the most delicious restaurant on the beach is in the nearby Amra Hotel.

The territory is small but well-groomed, the food was surprising for Abkhazia :) high-quality but monotonous. The rooms... (second building) it's just terrible ... the smell of the basement, humidity, mold and dirt... the service is normal, nothing special. Cleanliness, I have already written about the room stock... everything is very good on the territory and on the beach. The location is great. The staff is helpful. The question may arise, why such a low rating ..? TERRIBLE LIVING CONDITIONS OF the 2ND BUILDING. INADEQUATE COST.

We stayed at the hotel from 06/11/2021 to 06/21/2021. I really liked everything. We lived in the old building. The conditions, of course, are simpler. But they chose it because of the location of the building. The room was on the 4th floor, facing in the opposite direction from the courtyard. Insanely gorgeous view- sea view to the left, mountains to the right, tropical vegetation, birdsong. Every morning with a cup of coffee is delicious! Abkhazia is a country of the soul! We already miss you, I want to be there again. Wonderful ZOYA (excursions). We have visited many excursions.We plan to come back next year.

We had a rest at the San Palace Hotel. We were taken to the Chelyuskintsev holiday home to the beach. The beach is equipped, sun beds,umbrellas are free of charge. The beach is pebbly. There is a fenced place for swimming in the sea. There were jellyfish, but not so many, they did not interfere with swimming. Scooters are constantly driving, because of them the sea is dirty.
The territory is well maintained, gazebos, fountain.

The perfect place for a relaxing holiday! We lived in a new building, the Windows on the road are the only drawback, but the double-glazed windows coped 100 percent. The food is decent, the room is cleaned every day, the staff is friendly, the beach is private, there are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas.the courtyard is not large but very warm, green.I really liked it, I recommend it!!!

I liked the holiday home! Excellent, very beautiful territory, courteous staff, all requests are immediately fulfilled. Excellent children's animation. We lived in VIP apartments, the house is right on the beach with a great view, everything is in the room.
Of course, there are not great wishes - the kitchen is delicious but not diverse, there is no children's room, only meals are included in the payment, I would like all-inclusive services.But what angered me was the unreasonably very high prices for massage, compared to prices in Moscow, differs by + 600 rubles..... I was looking for a private massage, which turned out to be 3 times cheaper.
And, separately, I want to say thank you to the girls in the dining room, they are very pleasant and lovely! And, many thanks to the guide Valentina, for an incredibly professional guided tour.
We plan to come back here again!)

The holiday home itself is not bad, we were in a new building. But the sea is dirty, muddy all the time. Everyone has a rotovirus infection, they themselves got sick in the first few days, the child even had vomiting. The food wasn't bad, but the smell from the dining room was sometimes terrible. Stray dogs are constantly walking around the territory. The holiday home itself is located near the roadway and there is also a railway nearby. In general, I don't set foot here anymore.

I was there with my little son in 1999, in the summer. The decoration of the buildings was very simple and modest. But the food was great)) the procedures were done in Amr. Now, judging by the photos from the sanatorium's website, the buildings have become chic and comfortable. But in this place, the main thing is nature itself, the sea, the air, the mountains, the plants. And there, in Abkhazia, in Gagra, all this is excellent! The sanatorium has its own beach.
I highly recommend it to everyone, especially people with children who have lingering respiratory diseases. My son, who has been ill with loringitis, sore throats, pneumonia, etc. for a long time, was cured after 21 days in a sanatorium in Gagra. There were diseases, but not terminal, but one-time acute respiratory infections.
Abkhazia and its nature heal!
