The best time to travel here is on weekdays (this is the most important conclusion for me for all seasons))). It's too crowded on weekends.
There is a buzz at any time of the year. In winter, it's clear - skiing, snow, sledding, etc.
In summer, it is much fresher and more pleasant here than in a stuffy hot city. We rode horses. Children usually get carried away on suspended obstacles, I used to shoot arrows - it's a thrill) there are good trails and routes for hiking enthusiasts. Well, it's unrealistically beautiful in autumn! And you can do all the same things as in the summer))
I haven't been in the spring - I need to catch up.
I've heard that there's plenty of room for mountain bikes, but that's not my sport.
The food is normal. The restaurants are clean and the prices are reasonable, especially considering how far they are located from competitors))
Lots of fun for courage of different levels)) you can fly over the gorge on the highway, but it's creepy for me to even look at this attraction) I can't tell you everything, but definitely whether to go there.

We have been coming to this recreation area for many years now. The location is excellent, the nature is fascinating, we also lived in a cottage, in tree houses, this time in a yurt. It's very atmospheric, but in winter it takes time for the air conditioner and heaters to heat it up, which is probably the only small disadvantage. There is everything on site, restaurants, cafes, activities for children, there is a free shuttle service between the sites on the base, very convenient.

The base is beautiful. We were at the end of October, it snowed and we really found ourselves in a fairy tale. The nature is magnificent, there are restaurants on site where the service is also very good. I was upset by one fact for which I wanted to withdraw a point, but changed my mind - this is a children's center, to go there you have to pay 8 thousand per person. I thought that there would be some equipped playrooms where you can leave your child for a day and take a quiet walk, but no, there is NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I don't understand why they take money, it's a shame to show people for free, they also don't shake off the snow, they had to do it with their own hands before putting the child on a swing or somewhere else. I also went to the sauna, it was the best bath in my life.

Recently, we spent two unforgettable days on a retreat in the "Forest Fairy Tale", and this place was a real discovery for us!
The cozy atmosphere, harmony of nature and excellent service made our stay perfect. Spacious and clean rooms with stunning views of the forest are what you need for complete relaxation.
I would especially like to mention the thoughtful program of the retreat: active walks, meditations and delicious food cooked with love. The whole team of Lesnaya Skazka surrounded us with attention and care, helping us to completely disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city.
After these two days, we felt refreshed, full of energy and inner peace. Thank you so much for this oasis of peace and inspiration! We will definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to relax and restore body and soul.

As a family, we are not pros on the slopes, so compared to Cimbulac on these slopes, we were much calmer. At the same time, there is a place to ride!
For beginners, there are several trails, a "chair", and ropes.
It's a beautiful place, very close to the road: 20 meters - a locker room, 50 meters - a ski lift.
We took a taxi from the city - we paid 5.3 thousand tenge there, and back (we were just surprised!) The pitch is 6 minutes and the price is 4,6 thousand.
Of course, we were lucky with the weather!
But I think if it had snowed, or if it had been cooler, it wouldn't have spoiled anything at all!
Tomorrow we will go for night skiing.

We had a family vacation in December for 3 days. I liked it, there is a place to walk, where to eat. The nature is magnificent. We took improved rooms, everything is fine, only they heat up very much and we had to open the window. We skated in January 2025. After Shimbulak. The mountains are certainly not the same as there (height and panorama) and never in my life would I go from Russia to ride in a forest fairy tale... But after Cimbulac, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the trails. In the middle of the day, there was corduroy, a small number of people and, taking into account the size of the resort, a variety of trails. The people here ride better than in Cimbulac. You don't have to worry that some kind of crazy demon will take you down. The cafes are great, the staff is cheerful. If you want to go for a ride in Kazakhstan on May 9, then be sure to visit. My family and I visit your resort regularly, and we have always been satisfied with the quality of service. However, our visit on January 8th was disappointing. The tracks were not paved, which made skiing much more difficult. After the first descent, which turned into a walking descent along the highway, we were forced to leave the resort in a bad mood.
I understand that weather conditions or technical issues may affect the preparation of trails, but I would like to see more responsibility for informing visitors. We paid 30,000 tenge for the services and counted on high-quality skating. It would be wise to post information about the condition of the trails on your social networks so that regular visitors can adjust their plans in advance. I hope to improve in the future.

There is everything for extreme people.I personally liked the individual sauna with an excellent bath attendant, taught me many new techniques of vaping. There are a lot of ladybugs, but they associate happiness with me and do not bother me in any way. The rooms are quite large and cozy, we stayed in a house near the restaurant. We brought guests from the UK to end our vacation beautifully, but as a result, the Forest Fairy Tale significantly spoiled the impression of Kazakhstan!
We had booked a yurt and a tourist's house, upon arrival it turned out that the tourist's house was not even on the territory, but 2 km from here! OK, we paid extra, we booked a yurt.
You have to pay for about EVERYTHING! barbecue 10000, table 10000 (a barbecue without a table cannot be armored). The child froze in the evening, they asked for a blanket. 3000tg for a blanket! They also wanted to take our passport as collateral so that we wouldn't steal the blanket. Playground 10,000 per child. We paid for it. The guests wanted to go see how the children climb - you can't! Only 1 adult per 1 child. At the same time, only our children were on the playground. God forbid that adults start having fun on your roller coaster?
The reception staff is completely incompetent, they do not know what is and what is not in the room. We had to call twice to get the beds delivered. So their first question was, did you pay for extra beds? Did you pay for two?
On the positive side, there is a cool yurt and a normal breakfast.

The price tag is expensive for skiing, rent and accommodation, although the infrastructure is not bad, but there are many disadvantages that do not attract you to return a second time:
- A short length of trails - if you ride well, you will pass everything quickly and it will be boring.
- On a large slope, the lifts are very slow - it takes longer to climb up than to descend on your own.
- The hill sections are generally very short and the station of the beginning of the ascent is located above the place of descent, i.e. you have to stomp your feet down the hill, which is so nice in skis and even just in boots.

On the way to Lesnaya Skazka, they called the call center and clarified: 1) where exactly is the moon bike rental, 2) is it possible to ride an adult + a child on the same bike, 3) is it possible to book in advance, 4) does the balloon rental work. To which we received the following information from the administrator (or whoever is answering the phone): 1)located in equestrian center 2)adult+child 3 is allowed)you can not book in advance, only at the checkout on a first-come, first-served basis 4) the balloon route is closed for some reason. Okay, let's go at least for the moonbikes. Then complete nonsense begins: upon arrival at the equestrian center, the guard at the barrier assures that the moonbikes are not here, but where the ski rental is, you need to go there. Okay, we went down, drove into the parking lot, went to the cash register - they say at the cash register - what are you, moonbikes at the equestrian center. We go up to the equestrian center again, we pass by the guard at the checkout, they say that the moonbikes are here, but they are all booked online (we called to clarify about the reservation) and children are not allowed (we also clarified this issue). As a result: the absolute incompetence of the staff, 2 hours of wasted time and minus 1,500 for parking
