Recently, we spent two unforgettable days on a retreat in the "Forest Fairy Tale", and this place was a real discovery for us!
The cozy atmosphere, harmony of nature and excellent service made our stay perfect. Spacious and clean rooms with stunning views of the forest are what you need for complete relaxation.
I would especially like to mention the thoughtful program of the retreat: active walks, meditations and delicious food cooked with love. The whole team of Lesnaya Skazka surrounded us with attention and care, helping us to completely disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city.
After these two days, we felt refreshed, full of energy and inner peace. Thank you so much for this oasis of peace and inspiration! We will definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to relax and restore body and soul.
A magnificent and picturesque place. The most beautiful view of the mountains.
The road from the city is good.
The huge territory of the complex.
You can take the lifts to the mountains and take a walk there. You can also ride horses on the territory, test yourself on the rope complex, bungee ride, and go skiing in winter.
Prices for accommodation, services and cuisine are high. The current prices can be found on the website.
What surprised me was the prices for car Parking...5000 tenge. There are no such prices anywhere in Almaty.
A cool place, beautiful, fresh, clean in the houses, the staff is friendly, friendly. The breakfasts are great, everything you need is there. Check in-check out is as fast and comfortable as possible. Only the village has very small houses in the trees, and the filling in the rooms in the form of dishes suffers. They came with children, and it was problematic to feed them with something because there were no appliances or a microwave inside. But it's still a great place)
The photos have not been preserved, they were two years ago. It's a good complex. There is everything for extreme people.I personally liked the individual sauna with an excellent bath attendant, taught me many new techniques of vaping. There are a lot of ladybugs, but they associate happiness with me and do not bother me in any way. The rooms are quite large and cozy, we stayed in a house near the restaurant. The beauty is incredible nearby. We were around September, the weather was comfortable, cleanliness and great air all around. We will definitely come again.
A chic place for privacy or an event to organize. Food, accommodation, atmosphere, nature, staff - at the highest level! I did not expect such a level with adequate prices in Kazakhstan, to be honest.
There is no air conditioning in the rooms. I hope the mountain air will save you from the heat in summer. I was in May. It was ok. The yurt is big - incomparable! Treehouses are for fun, but it's better to live in cottages. If we have the opportunity, we will definitely check something else here.
We have been coming to this recreation area for many years now. The location is excellent, the nature is fascinating, we also lived in a cottage, in tree houses, this time in a yurt. It's very atmospheric, but in winter it takes time for the air conditioner and heaters to heat it up, which is probably the only small disadvantage. There is everything on site, restaurants, cafes, activities for children, there is a free shuttle service between the sites on the base, very convenient.
When they can, everything is done at the highest level. It's a very cool place, the territory is well maintained, at night it has its own atmosphere. The blue house is patched up, but everything is done well, fireplace, kitchen, beds - they can whenever they want. The most important thing is that the houses are clean, I have been there more than once and noticed this. Stock up on money, dear houses, go skiing in winter, stay overnight, and in the morning there will be quite a decent breakfast in the yurt.
The base is beautiful. We were at the end of October, it snowed and we really found ourselves in a fairy tale. The nature is magnificent, there are restaurants on site where the service is also very good. I was upset by one fact for which I wanted to withdraw a point, but changed my mind - this is a children's center, to go there you have to pay 8 thousand per person. I thought that there would be some equipped playrooms where you can leave your child for a day and take a quiet walk, but no, there is NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I don't understand why they take money, it's a shame to show people for free, they also don't shake off the snow, they had to do it with their own hands before putting the child on a swing or somewhere else. I also went to the sauna, it was the best bath in my life.
A forest fairy tale, really very beautiful and the nature and the place are perfectly chosen. To walk, to breathe, it's wonderful. Children like both the rope park and just a walk. The food is delicious, the prices are adequate. You can also rent a gazebo and bring food with you or barbecue, everything you need will be provided, even a samovar ☺️
The nature, the air is wonderful. You can sit on a horse. The food in the gruzinsky restaurant is delicious, I liked it. It was a good weekend.
Beautiful, clean air. "I don't know," he said. You can take the rent. The Georgian restaurant is very popular. Everything went wrong.
A wonderful ski resort. Delicious food in restaurants, various activities. There is something to do here even in the off-season, i.e. in summer. A wonderful variety of rooms at the hotel. There is a stunning view from the hill to which the cable car leads. View of 2 valleys, Almaty and Talgar.
The price tag is expensive for skiing, rent and accommodation, although the infrastructure is not bad, but there are many disadvantages that do not attract you to return a second time:
- A short length of trails - if you ride well, you will pass everything quickly and it will be boring.
- On a large slope, the lifts are very slow - it takes longer to climb up than to descend on your own.
- The hill sections are generally very short and the station of the beginning of the ascent is located above the place of descent, i.e. you have to stomp your feet down the hill, which is so nice in skis and even just in boots.
We rode at night (the tracks are well lit) and during the day.
What a wonderful place this "Forest Fairy tale! Thanks to the work of so many people, residents of Almaty, the region and guests have the opportunity to contemplate such wonderful beauty in the mountains! Century-old fir trees, a mixed forest, a gorge protected from mudslides, everything is well-groomed, green and pleasing to the eye and soul! Thanks to everyone who is involved in the creation of such a great place of relaxation, as well as the restaurant with excellent Georgian cuisine and all the staff! The time spent in this beautiful recreation area is unforgettable! I want to come back here ...
A very, very decent place. It is perfectly mastered, there are many interesting solutions and finds for a wonderful pastime. We were in the off-season and nevertheless had a great time, took a walk, went up on the lifts.
I love this ski trip on weekdays! Variable trails for both beginners and more experienced snowboarders. There is a parking lot, a cafe with delicious cuisine, and most importantly a children's ski school, where you can bring your child for 3 hours while you ride yourself. They give him all the equipment, teach him to ski, then ride cheesecakes, then entertain him in warm yurts. For families with children, the best resort in Almaty!)
A great place to relax! There are several types of housing: yurts, cottages and treehouses. There is a rope park and a climbing wall. The territory is large - golf carts drive, for quick movement
The resort is good for skiing, there are many trails for beginners and experienced riders. The disadvantage of a summer vacation. The child was bungee riding, severely injured her neck, because there is no stopper when stopping. Accommodation for three people. The information on the mode of operation of activities in the autumn time on the site did not correspond
Positive:
They take care of nature, cleanliness is everywhere, there are sanitary zones everywhere. This is a more real development of tourism.
Lots of entertainment.
The men on the cable car are very friendly and the women in the shops are polite.
Minuses:
The houses are super expensive, from 75 thousand ...
Breakfast was moved to the yurt. We went overnight just for the sake of a magical morning and breakfast on the summer terrace of the restaurant with a beautiful view of the coniferous mountains, but that's it. It's sad!
Breakfast is very cheap, as in 2-3 star hotels. At breakfast, the juice is of terrible cheap quality, it is impossible to drink. The assortment of sweets is meager.
We lived in a tree house, the room is clean, very warm), beautiful location, cool terrace, good service but not everywhere, for example, when leaving the territory, we were told that you have 15 minutes for free check-out, if you do not have time, you will have to go to the reception so that we can do free check-out again, on departure there was a big traffic jam, the barrier did not work and we did not have time, there was no way to turn around, we had to run there on foot, in general everything is cool
If we talk about the nature of the place, then yes, we admired and enjoyed it, but it's only for an hour every day ...
There is practically no occupation for younger children: the playground (paid), the master class is paid separately....and in fact, it took 15 minutes to wrap a bear with a thread....
The play area in the tent....but this is for 10 children, then the crush will begin there, while it's cold there, especially where the main part of the toys, not the slide.
Outside, the playground was not cleared, as it snowed and froze a little. The ticket was sold, but the child has nowhere to play: you will not sit on the ice swing, you will not jump on the snow butterflies...they started cleaning only after I said that everything was not cleaned and dangerous....
The rope park (although there are two of them), but the daughter with a height of 122 cm could not be anywhere ...
The food was delicious, but we were practically only in a Georgian restaurant, and a couple of times in a European, national and We didn't get there because there were always conferences there.... Or they came to have lunch, and they told us: "the restaurant will close for the event in an hour."...you see, yes, as we dined in puffs...
the room was clean, cleaned every day.
The receptionists at the reception....I'd rather keep quiet....They told me to come to check-in at 14:00....and as a result, we also sat until 15:00 with the children around them....creating noise and baby crying for them.
Maybe, of course, it's more fun in winter, but again in the warmer months.....
A great place to relax with the whole family. Clean air, lots of entertaining sports events and generally a magical place to reboot your brain from the hustle and bustle of the city.
A picturesque place with mountains, trees, and a river! There are separate cottages for rent. And several funiculars. There are viewing platforms at the peak and it is possible to ride a three-way down or bungee. Adrenaline rush! You can also ride an electric bike and shoot on the Paintball field. You can go on a walking trip and ride horses. There is a parking lot for cars and a city bus route, 210 in my opinion. There are several restaurants on the menu with national and European dishes. A place to relax that will give a lot of positive impressions!
It's a good place. Probably, along with 8 lakes, it is the best that is near Alma-Ata. 3 cafes (choose Georgian), there are horses, lifts to the mountains, a rope park. Escaping from the smog and breathing clean air with your family for a day is the best thing!
A gorgeous place, in terms of nature. The service is also on the level. The food in the restaurants is very tasty.
And now about the room: it's a nightmare. 10 square meters maximum. A very small shower cabin. And most importantly, we took a separate room, the so-called treehouse, with a veranda. But, as it turned out, access to this veranda is open to everyone. And these people will look into your windows, as happened with us.
It's a beautiful place. A city bus runs here. It is paid to enter the parking lot by private car. There is a rope town in the trees, cafes and a toilet. Nature is gorgeous. The cable car is open and sooo slow.
A wonderful place to spend a weekend! Excellent cuisine, delicious breakfast, plenty of hiking trails for any preparation, fresh air and friendly staff
A beautiful place to relax. Clean air, freshness. It's cool that you pay for parking, and you can take a walk, have a picnic. And you can rent a house or a room for a few days.
A great place to relax, well-developed infrastructure, a lot of activities on and off the territory, the disadvantages are far from the city, not everyone can afford it.
Not a bad place for skiing,
The ski slopes are weak, of course, in places it is very narrow, turns are sharp somewhere, the choice of trails is small, but an hour to ride and spend time is quite good
A great place to relax and unwind, both in winter and summer. Incredibly beautiful, skiing with competent instructors in winter, hiking uphill and other entertainments in summer, clean beautiful rooms, the hunter's house May love😍 The resort in the foothills is amazing 🔥🔥🔥
The place is amazing!
Perhaps the best for a family holiday!
The rooms are comfortable and clean. Beautiful territory, excellent food
You can just walk along the trails and engage yourself in interesting activities
Solid five 👍🏽
A lot of entertainment: a rope park, a troll track, skiing, hiking in the mountains and so on. This is a view from the valley of bridges, and this is a view from the top where you can climb on a lift.
A good place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. We rented a treehouse. In the morning we saw a lot of squirrels who were looking for what people had left for them to eat. It is advisable to leave them unpeeled hazelnuts. My daughter was very interested in watching them. I also liked the quality of the dishes in the Georgian restaurant.
My favorite Forest Fairy Tale! I really like to go there. You can just take a walk with the children and climb the Village in the trees. You can take the lift up the mountain and admire the scenery. You can sit in a cafe and have a delicious meal. I like how everything is organized: parking, ticket offices, hotel, etc. We'll come again!
I visited the ski complex here. I really like this ski complex. This is the place where I first got on a snowboard without an instructor and immediately from the main descent. I've been visiting it for 2 years now. Everything suits me. It's a pity there is no loyalty system for repeated visits. I do not advise you to come on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. There are a lot of people. You stand in line longer than you go up, and even more so you go down. Then it is better to choose night skiing. It's beautiful on weekdays.
A great place for beginner skiers. Comfortable and neat trails, good infrastructure, there is a cafe, a rental school. I was also lucky with the sunny weather, I enjoyed skiing a lot. For experienced skiers, the trails may seem short and easy.
The most beautiful place! A real forest fairy tale!
This place is great at any time of the year - even in summer, even in winter, even in autumn, even in spring. Treehouses are something! And the hammocks on the forest trail! There is nothing like this anywhere in the Almaty region!
Soon, my wife and I will go there again for her birthday. We are already looking forward to it!
The staff is caring and attentive. The cable car works perfectly. There are attractions for both adults and children.
If you haven't been here, you haven't seen a real fairy tale!
Everything is clean and tidy in the hotel rooms, delicious food and a lot of cool and cool entertainment where you can spend time with your family, there are children's areas where you can leave the children and walk alone
I really liked the forest fairy tale! It was beautiful, clean, everything was well maintained, we were on a weekday, there weren't many people, the cable car didn't work, the toilet was decent, there was even toilet paper! We received a lot of positive emotions
Long trails, a couple of steep and rather difficult slopes, you can start riding on the board here, as there are enough gentle and green trails + a convenient tutorial.
An unexpectedly high-level tourist complex located in the gorge. We went blindly for a couple of days "just to get some air away from the city." We ordered a Yandex taxi for 30 minutes, everyone refused to go, but there was one brave man with whom we made mistakes in the dark, but still reached this beautiful place.
We thought it would be something like a slightly renovated Soviet boarding house, but the place turned out to be instagrammatically beautiful (especially the dawn from our treehouse) and with very good infrastructure. It is clear that the owners tried their best - even little things like dressing gowns in the rooms, staff workwear, etc. are decorated in the same style according to the brandbook)
Modern chalets, treehouses, yurts (they were closed for restoration - they dreamed of staying there, but it did not happen this time). Customers and luggage are taken away from the reception on electric cars, which makes it easier to climb the hill.
Two restaurants are Italian, where good quality breakfasts are served in the morning. And a Kazakh cuisine restaurant with delicious local dishes. Up on the mountain, we still saw a cozy restaurant in a chalet, but it was closed in May.
From entertainment - baths, massages, a rope park. You can take funiculars to the mountains, an interesting hiking trail along the mountain range, with various interactive activities along the way. For us, unprepared tourists, the difficulty level was just right. It is easy and exciting to walk with even younger children.
One of the disadvantages - as always and everywhere - is the staff. We arrived at about 9 p.m., they took us by electric cars to the paths leading to the tree houses, dropped us off, left, and then our quest began "find your tree house in the dark, and even with a 20-kilogram suitcase.." We need a map of the houses, friends. And it would be nice to help you get there with heavy things.
The second unpleasant moment was connected with the waiters, who refused to feed us at 9 p.m., although the restaurant was open until 10 and, as we were informed by phone, the order could be accepted until 9.30. We called the manager, explained ourselves, and after a couple of minutes a wonderful girl manager came to our rescue, did not let us starve to death and even treated us to sweets) so the guys are great, they know how to work.
The place is beautiful, I advise you to take a look if you find yourself in Kazakhstan)
A great place for walking, the open area is a big plus of the administration. Everything is fine, except for the restaurant, it's expensive, I would like it to taste better.
A great place, wonderful views, nature, a unique place of power, unusual treehouses, you can stay in yurts, feel the national flavor. Excellent service, delicious food.
We rented two rooms — one tree house for us and a yurt for our parents. The tree house was not as cozy as expected. The bed was made up of two and a half double beds, which caused a hole to form in the middle, and the whole bed was an uncomfortable lump, which did not allow normal sleep. We were with my daughter (1 year and 9 months old), and this disgusting sleeping place caused a lot of inconvenience. Nevertheless, the house itself is quite cozy and creates a pleasant atmosphere in the evening. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi works intermittently and sometimes disappears completely. There is a kettle and cups in the house, which turned out to be very convenient. The climb to the lodge is quite steep, which may be a problem for some. The yurt, which was rented by the parents, was very cozy, without any complaints - the parents were satisfied.
We liked the breakfast at the hotel, but the choice of coffee is limited only to Americano, and it was completely tasteless. All additional activities require a separate payment and close fairly early.
Beautiful territory; wonderful views; pleased with the variety of restaurants for different tastes.
The main impression is a very cool rope park: fun, diverse, extreme. I recommend taking a ticket for 4 hours - you will have time to go through all the tracks and even have a snack during the break. Pay close attention to the recommendations for height on extreme tracks - even I, with a height of 171, had to strain in places to hook the carbines on some of the backlines; a friend with a height of 156 would definitely not have coped without my help.
